Greetings, sir or madam.

What is your nation's official position (if it has one) on the conflicting ideas of geocentrism (the Sun orbits the Earth) versus heliocentrism (the Earth orbits the Sun)?

The position of the Ecclesiastical State, in accordance with traditional Catholic teaching, is that the Earth was created by the Lord and placed at the centre of His universe. So naturally, all of the other celestial objects revolve around it, including the Sun, Moon, planets and stars. We disagree with the propositions of Galileo and his contemporaries – we believe that those "laws of physics" are purely a conspiracy by devil-worshippers to weaken the population's faith, by denying the omnipotence of the Creator and attempting to explain the divine mysteries using the logic of mortals. Instead of concerning ourselves with why things are the way they are, which leads to endless uncertainties, we prefer to just accept them as how the Lord wanted them to be.

Blessed day to all,

Plácido Fernandes
Minister of Religion and Culture

"Well, we in Albali - hell - the milky way in general, don't really have a 'belief'. It's just common knowledge that any planet will orbit its parent star, assuming it has one. Of course, planets can also end up orbiting gas giants if they have enough mass. And stars can sometimes orbit other stars. "

Yep! I've done a playthrough with each faction at least once. I prefer helping House win, but I have to say that a Legion playthrough is pretty fun too.

Subject: Some Questions
Good...whatever time it is for you.

I’m...well it says in the title. Sorry. I’m still...getting used to this. Have to be careful, anyway! So, I wanted to ask a couple of questions:

1. How much forgiveness do you think should be given people who were...like...extremely horrible in the past, but trying to change that?
2. What advice do you have for anyone in that situation?
3. Are those ears of yours extra sensitive and stuff? I mean, I only know nekofication, so...
4. Opinions on magic?
5. What’s the thing you regret most? Sorry, kind of a sad question, I’m just...curious.

I’d appreciate any answers you have. And, also...sorry.

"Personally, I think that people should be held accountable for their past actions. Having said that though, I also believe in forgiving people that truly have changed their ways, and are doing all they can to reverse the damage that they have done. In that case, nothing less than a person's absolute best will do.
You mean for people trying to change their ways? In that case, you start off when you notice that what you have done is truly a problem, either for you or the people around you. Being absolutely willing to essentially change who you are is a requirement, because being able to do that is not easy. You cannot change the past, but what you can do is accept it - say 'that happened and it will be there forever, but I can use it as a lesson and as motivation to become a better person'. Like I said, it's not easy, but even trying your best is enough for me.

So... my ears, huh? Yeah, they're super sensitive. I would probably melt if someone started playing with them like one would with an actual dog, that's how sensitive we're talking.

I don't actually have a solid opinion on magic because it just doesn't exist in my... well, universe, you could say? To me, it just seems like it's one of those things that might exist just because. I guess I might compare it to a gun - if one killed someone with magic, I'm going to blame the person that did the deed and not the magic because it doesn't choose how it will be used. So I guess I'm neutral on it.

What do I regret most...? That's a tough question. See, I was taught by my father, and in the Army, that regret is a pointless feeling. What happened, happened. All you can hope to do is do better in the future. Then again, I do feel some regret here and there - it's hard for lessons to overtake natural instinct, for me at least. I think the thing I regret most is the destruction of the 2nd Army Group while I was its commander. I know I did everything I could to prepare for the impending attack, but it feels like it wasn't enough, y'know?"

Dear Astela

I hope the galaxy is as dazzling as you are today, dear. I just thought I thought it'd be sweet of me to send you a letter so I thought up of a question that'll get your brain's gears working! No worries, it will not give you an existential crisis. It is an innocent question.

Since I'm a very curious vampire, I always wondered. What are the qualities you look for in a lover? Who fits your criteria too? I always like talking about love. Some would say I'm the vampire version of Aphrodite but I hate that divine prostitute with a passion!

Anyways, I wish you good fortune, Astela! Take care!

Yeah, actually - my wife has a nation (The Hook Islands) but she doesn't tend to log on very much. I think my sister-in-law had a nation too, but she let it die after a couple days.

Hello Astela!

I hope you're as spry and cheerful as ever! Just a quick question, sweetheart! I always wondered what you thought about pacifism? I'm in no way trying to shame you for being a veteran but I'm just wondering how powerful and stoic people such as yourself think about such a concept?

No rush! Take your time, dear! I wish you good fortune. Oh! I've almost forgot. I've also attached a little gift! Spoilers! It's a pure black tulip that I grew myself! Keep it safe. I know you might be thinking "Why not something luxurious like a rose?" but I thought this represented your chief trait and that's your strength and resilience, dear! Oh, since I sent you the flower, I'm kind of wondering what you consider as your most favorite flower before I sent you this black tulip?

Your sincerely

"My thoughts on pacifism...? Well, in short I have to say that I love it. In long, I despise doing harm or telling others to do harm for me. Holding a high-level command during the biggest war ever... well, the loss that I contributed to hit me like a train. The way I see it, coming out of such a shitshow, is that nobody should harm another person in good conscience. I know that it sometimes has to be done, but... well, I hate having to order someone to take a life.

As for flowers, I... well, I don't have a particular preference. I've learned to accept the gesture of the gift, rather than the gift itself. So I would appreciate anything you gave me, Miss Ambrosia! Well. Within reason."

"Greetings. In the light of our continuing war with the People's Republic of Inkerdia, I would like to ask, what is the longest war you ever fought? For us, it is the war we are fighting right now. The area we are fighting over is a living hell. The big cities have been decimated by Inkerdian bioweapons and Blackforgean carpet bombing. In the rural areas, rabid mutants roam long-abandoned fields. Now, as decades of war have left the area useless, we are now focusing on invading Inkerdia and freeing it's people from the oppressive regime that rules them. Soon, our War Dragons and missiles will be within range of their heavily fortified capital. It'll be a tough fight, but if we can win this, this horrid war of attirion can finally end. I cannot tell you how tired I am of news broadcasts telling of the latest Inkerdian atrocity."

A letter smelling like roses, stamped with Rozovyy Almaz's official seal appears on the desk, glowing a faint pink.
My dear President Valbe,
I send this letter inquiring about the office of presidency in the Albali Republic. If something were were to happen to you, stars forbid, how would a new president be selected? I also bear a question for Prime Minister Rhios; what do you like the most about your position? I wish you and your nation prosperity and peace.
With great reverence, The gracious Rozovyy Almaz.

"Well this is nice... anyway, the answer to your first question is that if I were to just drop dead like a bumblebee, then the Prime Minister will take over as head of state in addition to being head of government until a new President can be selected. This is done by doing an election within the party - any party member can run even if they have no experience, but... well, I wouldn't recommend it."

I'll ask more with more effort and ICly later, please do pardon me!

So this is across all of your puppets, maybeeee canonical. What is the biggest war that you have fought, perhaps just in terms of number of troops or logistics involved, not necessarily the numbers lost.

And this is for Amaki: What was the coldest temperature that she has survived, and for how long?

It's all good, it's about time this thing was revived anyway, so I'm happy for all questions <3

Q1: Well, the biggest would probably be the War Against Heaven in the Albaliverse, but it's not been entirely explored yet; it happens a decade after where the Albali Republic is, and Fallen Albali is only set after one phase, so in FA's lore the war is still ongoing. If we're talking about a war that had actually ended, then it would be World War II in Der Schwarze Orden's lore.

Q2:"The coldest...? I think that was on Mahonaise. I was in university at the time, and we travelled there for a field tip to see the ancient court house... unfortunately it was in the middle of winter. -27 Celsius at the worst points, and we were there for two days... I'd rather not have to experience it again."

"Howdy. Now, I have a few questions for the Albali Republic. How exactly do y'all manage to maintain several species working together? Maybe it's just humans are petty, but here on Earth, it's a tough job just to get local communities with the same culture to work together. Now, several species? That sounds like a logistical nightmare... or it might not, I don't know. Regardless, how exactly do y'all do it?

My second question is rather... strange. I've noticed that the species of the Albali are... well, very mammalian. In fact, they look pretty damn similar to creatures here on Earth. Along with this, y'all got an eagle on your flag. Do you guys think there was any kind of interstellar panspermia that caused our similar species or is it just a coincidence?

As for my final question, that's for Astela herself. What inspired you to lead an entire nation? Now, obviously, you had your reasons for overthrowing the monarchy. But was there any real drive behind you or were you just in the right place at the right time?

Q1: "Oh! Well... ahem. Hi Ambie. I didn't expect to see you here - you could always call me or something! Not like... erm. Anyway. What do I do to get away from it all...? I spend my free time with Amara on most days... she's magical. I forget the bad times I've had when I'm playing her favourite games with her. But it's not really relaxing. When I want that, I take a hot bath and then watch a movie under a blanket with a hot drink. A girl deserves pampering sometimes. It would be nice if you could join me; cuddling on the sofa with you is always a goal."

The stress and fatigue all mounted up under the surface until it finally exploded after Ari -- em, my fiancée, died. But that's not to say I didn't try. I thought about everything that could be lost if I made mistakes and drove myself to be perfect. But I've found that such a mindset only worked if you were successful. When I was beaten I would tell myself that I can learn and I would get another chance... it's more than some under my command got. But... Victoria, Ambie taught me that I can't change the past. I can see you have the same scars I do. Neither of us are alone."

Q3: Man, that's a great question. Before joining the Discord with y'all, I would say I was inspired mostly by my own thoughts and things I had discovered and learned on my own. Since then though, I would say my conversations with you guys have been my biggest inspiration, We can have really fun conversations and sometimes I'll think "Oh! This makes great material!"
So yeah, it's you and the guys that have inspired me a lot over the past year and a half. <3

The leader of the glorious Octavian Imperium, The Paramount, wishes to ask the Abalian Republic questions regarding the most important matters in this universe.
We must ask that these questions are answered in the most expedient manner available as to respect his ever so important time and as to not insult his infinite wisdom in asking your nation these questions

"Ugh, that intro text is so pretentious, we really should consider changing it...ah yes, the Abalians. To get straight to the point, we would first want to ask how exactly the Republic feels about their previous monarchy. Really what we want to know if the Abalian population realized that they've made a mistake by opening the door to democracy and disorder. Secondly, what is the status of the former royal family in the Republic. This is a particularly interesting question for us as it gives us some possibilities for future action...That will be all."

Wexas wrote:"Howdy.

Q1: "Getting so many species together was a challenge for out ancestors, certainly. However, over the millennia, we have got it down to a science. Albali as a nation is built upon the foundations of interspecies cooperation - we are better together than we would be separately. The logistics of such a multiracial country are really not as bad as one might think; we eat mostly the same things, we are capable of breeding and living in close proximity, and making or modifying clothing or vehicles to the needs of a species is not a complicated task in the least. As for how... well, it's a complicated answer. We don't tolerate racial prejudice so everybody feels accepted, and we tailor to everybody's needs because they are our own. Everybody has a voice and their concerns are listened to. In our educational system, we are taught to associate ourselves more with out country and our shared cultures moreso than our races. It's just... how it's been for thousands of years."
- Astela

Q2: "To be completely honest with you, nobody knows the answer to this question. Scientists have theories of course, but when it comes to hard facts, I am as stumped as you are. Some say Caniciens - and Ausar to some extent - come from Earth canines, but evolutionary patterns seem to disprove that. The most likely scenario is that it's all a coincidence, and that the forms of these specimens are simple the best for their environment. After all, the theory of evolution and survival of the fittest still holds true elsewhere in the universe."
- Astela

Q3: "I would say there was. I wanted to guide this country away from the totalitarianism that ravaged it for years. I wanted to do the right thing for my people and their children. Initially I was happy to take a back step, but when I formed the provisional government, everybody looked to me like I should be in charge. I was convinced to run as the president, and while that changed my plans, it also let me be a lot more hands on with my plans."

"From what I can see, Albalians love it! Who would have guessed that people are much happier when their rights to self-government and freedom of speech are not infringed upon? We don't think our decision is a mistake at all. I think that you feel threatened by a populace that knows how to make decisions by themselves. Continue with your course of action and you shall see that for yourself. As for the royals... it depends on the person. Those who were close with the Queen's regime are in prison or house arrest. Or dead if they resisted. The innocent members of the royals are living as free men with the same power as the rest of us."

To whoever it concerns,

We are not as far from each other as we once thought. In fact, we are in close enough a distance to observe the Milky Way, if that is what you call your galaxy, from afar. Initially, we named it Sirion Galaxy, a fairly nondescript name... but now we understand that you have a name for it. We will refer to it as such. What the hella kinda name is that, though? On the other hand, Gaia is in Vemessiara Galaxy, which I understand that people of certain universe call it 'Andromeda'.

In dreadful panic, my colleagues have report that our respective galaxies are traveling towards each other at an alarming rate. You see... nothing is stationary in the wide universe. We are going to collide into each other in...

I trust that every sentient species has this existential crisis, the feeling that they are insignificant against the vast, pointless universe and that the end arrives to any of us eventually. Do you [whoever answers this] feel the same thing? How do you maintain your sense of self and sanity against all these questions? Aka how are you not suicidal yet?

If you are tired of these nondescript philosophical questions, well I have another one. How does your nation [well the one that replies] regard and treat intellectuals? I find anti-intellectualism distasteful, but enshrining them is also unhealthy and leads to nothing getting done. (Yes, I know my place.)

"I am not much bothered by the inevitabilities of the universe, Feo. These however many billions of years is so unfathomably far away to me. I suppose you could say I am at peace with it? I don't waste time thinking and fretting over things that are not only out of my control, but are so far away that both of our species won't exist when the time comes.
As for your second question... intellectuals are treated with the same respect as everybody else. We listen to what they say, but we also use our own opinions to judge what they say and do. At the end of the day Feo, I don't care if someone is a biologist or a window cleaner. So long as they work hard, and with integrity, nothing else matters to me."
