"Asia Calling! Asia Calling! This is Asia calling! The relay towers have been set-up. This is Brother Tano, on the second day of the declaration. Order 198 has taken effect. Without warning, all media has henceforth been whitewashed. Asians have not heard from their relatives overseas. Quarantine zones have been designated all over the country, but when authorities are questioned; no comment is given.

We've heard reports of military intrusion all week. Families allocated. People disappearing into the night. A block of Bagong Katagalugan University's college students and professors have gone missing too. We suspected a coup-d'etat at first, but now, we aren't so sure.

Brother Tumbaga went to the store the other day. On the way back home, he reported military men firing at what seemed to be a lump, walking corpse. Multiple similar sightings have been reported across graveyard-heavy areas in and around the nation. We can only speak for ourselves here at Neo-Manila, because it seems that interstate travel has been prohibited as well.

Good. This is Asp. Felipe Villafuerte, 8th Urban Combat Company. Know me by my identification callsign, Undas. I've deserted my post in Nueva Ecija, NCR after hearing the rumors you've all heard too. I cannot confirm them. My primary objective has been to locate my family, and I have. But I do have something to report.

At exactly 2100 yesterday, the 6th Fleet retreated to Neo-Manila. This is highly eccentric, seeing as how the 6th is our elite naval defense against the United States. I've also witnessed the arrival of an entire AeroGuard Regiment to my F.O.B. Pana-Class, Bagani-Class, and Tigmamanukan-Class Warships have all landed in the countryside. To the mountains. What for? The inferred conclusion I can only come to is that there is a greater threat within our borders far greater than any single political entity- far outmatching the risks of a potential invasion by the United States. Why?

This is all I can reveal at the moment. Please. To all our listeners. Tread cautiously.

"Arm 6 has failed to take Feng Ltd. Experimental Pharmaceutics! Repeat, failed! We trailed elements of the Gendarmerie hauling corpses to this exact location, without habeas corpus. We suspect greater corporate involvement in whatever the fuck is going on."

Another grenade is heard exploding, followed by several screams to fall back.

"Fuck! 3 casualties!"

Footsteps are audibly recognized over the transmission, rushed and alarmed.

"We heard screams. Loud and dreary. But they weren't for help. They were... almost like a hunger. I don't.. I don't understand any of this."

Wailing echoes, getting stronger and stronger, from a separate corridor, distant from the fighting.

"Luis, Xuegang; investigate that noise! Everyone else, take cover! Flashbang out!

"Asia Calling! I repeat, this is Asia calling! We have extraordinary news tonight.

Oh, what's that? It's morning? God. Tell Calypso to get this damned analog clock working. Our supplies won't schedule themselves.

Since my last appearance, we've been contacted by several of our forward outposts already, reporting multiple nations out there having received- yes, received, our transmissions. This is great news, folks! To all our viewers, national and international; welcome to the resistance! It's unfortunate that we cannot yet receive your aid, but take our word for it, we are doing everything in our power to secure less promiscuous channels of inter-communication and physical, international supply lines for you to better receive us; and for us to receive you.

Yes, uh, we've received no update from Arm 6. For their safety, no more details less than what has already been relayed will be revealed.

But speaking of entry and contact, another military deserter, Brother Chiang, waltzed in to report the sighting of a rogue military zodiac- and it isn't one of ours. A Hauptgefreiter from the Prusso-Polish Commonwealth has made contact with our agents. Hans Bartowski, as he carries himself, is a messenger from the German people seeking to solidify an end to the current hostilities for a possible alliance with the resistance. As of this time, we have no direct confirmation from the German government yet, nor further a proclamation of their intents with us. The question is, ladies and gentlemen, are they the knights they proclaim themselves to be, or are they here to rat us out as political hostages?

I don't know either. But clearly, he's here to do some business with that G14 strapped to his back.

Arm 9 has been given orders to lead him to a safehouse we have outside the Metropolitan. He will be left unharmed, nonetheless, he will be interrogated. Every piece of intel counts.

"Good morning, resistance.

This is Brother Calypso with even more updates from Neo-Manila. Shout-out to our Indonesian listeners! No, wait, it's just The Batavia.

Intercepted Government communication has warned of quote-on-quote mysterious children wandering the forests of Dawetid. At 0600 Hours, we received a Long Telegram from our outpost in Palawan, rowed by a fisherman of the resistance, reporting the same rumor spreading throughout the province. It is unclear yet what this means for us.

Arm 6 has been proclaimed dead after her homing beacon was found with shrapnel and blood outside the City Park. It is inferred that her squadron and she attempted to make a run for it, near the commercial ironworks district. The blood is not confirmed to be hers, but her last transmission warned of Feng Ltd.'s participation in some sort of unauthorized experiment. We also noted that the Virology laboratory was heavily locked from the outside. At this time, we remain clueless to the exact specifications of the contract.

"This is Brother Tano, Brother Tano to all Voices! The Resistance is back online!

Since our last broadcast, we've received several requests by external nations to provide clear and concise routes of supplication and aid. We've done that. Brother Anino has been able to crack a chain of command between our outposts. Premiers, if you're listening, what we really need is manpower. What little arms and men we have are smuggled and deserters. Now, I'm not dissing our Military Cadre, but we've only got so much combat experience. We need professionals like Hans.

I've already asked Brother Anino to give the order for us to receive your men through the safehouse chain. The international brigade will be distributed amongst our Arm-Companies, undergo tests, and be transported here to Central HQ.

For all you military men or Congressmen listening, wondering what the next task is, all we'll reveal is that it has something to do with Arm 6. An Aspirant has made its way home, reporting that Sister melayu is indeed alive- but barely. She managed to escape right as the unit was being hauled into their cells.

The rest have been interred by the Experimental Weapons Division in a base right outside the outskirts of Clark.

It should come to no surprise that the EWD had something to do with all this.

Public transit has remained exclusively under military control, and that'll be the fastest way there. By train, we'll infiltrate the fortress and secure Arm 6.

"Quick updates before we get back to some slow jazz for the night. We have received, repeat, received official confirmation from the Prusso-Polish Commonwealth affirming the legitimacy of this Marksman they've sent us. As I speak, he's being transferred through a long line of security checkpoints bound for homebase. We'll see you soon, tovarisch.

The Police Station riot has calmed down for now, and we've managed to salvage British Power Armor used by the Riot Police. Brother Kalihim snuck into their bunks and smuggled it out with the aid of Arm 11. Shout-out to you, Brother! Good work!

To the people of Neo-Manila, please, do not be afraid. Our local recruitment operatives have already set the clues and contraptions, the connections and the counters for you to link up with us. We need you more than ever if we're to discover what really lies behind those smiling politicians' faces.

The official newsreel continues to moan on about an impending typhoon. State Newspapers have also reported the intensity of clamour for travel, especially here in the Philippines. You see ladies and gentlemen abroad, All Souls Day is celebrated in the Philippines by visiting dead loved ones no matter how far away they've been buried. And this means provinces away for farmers who have left their fields to work in the big city.

Unconfirmed rumors are spreading door-to-door about a massive HM96 Virus outbreak, with a strong strain, in Makati City. The domestic virus is known to be mostly harmless, but the Ministry of Health has often proclaimed that the unnecessary spread of dormant viruses can generally be a threat to the Federation. This is likely the reason why badged-men from the Ministry of State and Public Security have prepared at least a pair of biohazard suits for every station. But if what we've broadcasted too is true, there may be something more to this so-called outbreak.

"Another day in hell, ladies and gentlemen. This morning, we, once again, have breaking news.

The beautiful gleaming moonlight remains high up in the sky, but the cool tropical breeze and glamorous silence has been interrupted by the whizzing of helicopter blades. More gunfire was heard near the Eastern Sector of Katipunan Avenue. Armed elements of the Pan-Asiatic States Armed Forces tangled with an unknown threat near Manila Memorial, and it appears they needed heavy ordnance to finish the job. We have confirmed reports- and when I mean confirmed, I mean the entire neighbourhood is up witnessing this, of the Armed Forces releasing Sarin Gas via pressurized missile-batteries firing at relatively-close range. It is yet unknown of the fate of the residents who have, without question, been involved in the thick of the crossfire- as this had taken place at a designate residential area.

With the army agitated by this cataclysm, our planned operations cannot be done on schedule. We can only hope Arm 6 remains intact despite this delay."

"This is Brother Tano, signing on again. We have... Grim... news. It appears our worst suspicions were correct. Whilst we are not exactly sure of the causes as of yet, what we are sure of is that some sort of rabid strain has caused men and women of this great nation to turn into flesh-eating bloodthirsty savages.

The attack reported earlier blazed on until 1400 Hours. The Army was.. unable.. to control the situation.

At 1500 Hours, and for our viewers residing near Subic, you may have very well noticed this from a distance; the Army unleashed a FLEIJA Nuke upon the city of Neo-Manila. Brother Calypso was caught in the blast radius. It is very likely that he is dead. He was outside our resistance bunker during the explosion.

The FLEIJA, whilst small in its radius, packs a punch- destroying all it touches. We're lucky we've dug-in. But the others.. aren't so lucky. Our estimate is 435,277,124 casualties. 200,000 from the initial blast, and our relays from China and Hokkaido have gone silent as well- such too in Indochina and Nusantara, affirming the rest.

The nation has affirmed the spread of the virus at last, advising citizens to hide behind the throes of Martial Law. Our movement is crippled. But the mission goes on.

We are certain that whatever or whoever is responsible for this hides behind the EWD. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. As of this moment, we are vigilantes.

"This is Brother Tano, calling to Asia. As we speak, our International Brigade is fighting hard to avenge the death of our fallen comrades. They fight in the fields, in the plains, and in the sky. Saboteurs of the night, sackers of the day.

But why do we fight for amongst these corpses? Do we simply rotate the wheel of destruction and death? Are we bandits, like the Neo-Manila Post, a sham of a corrupt government, has decided to run? No. We fight because people lie.

Why people lie... it isn't only because they struggle against each other, it's also because there is something that they're seeking. Pan-Asia, the EWD, you now want a world without change. How stagnant, you could hardly call it life. The same as a world of memories, just a world that's closed and completed, that's a place I wouldn't want to live in.

The government has declared the States free of this sickness, but at what cost? And what aftermath can we expect, as the people? Nothing comes to mind, for the life of me."
