I mean, when the 2015 Argie presidential election came down to neolib Macri and peronist Scioli, the actually, honestly principled communists called for left-wing voters to cast blank ballots. When pressed to choose between two incredibly flawed candidates, but one of which supported policies somewhere in the vicinity of their own, they refused to choose altogether. They stood by their ideals even when they knew it could (and did) partially lead to a victory for the most right-wing candidate with.

Why can't right-wing libertarians do the same? :thonk:

I've met too many right-libertarians who abstain from all voting, and I can't help but think of them as cowardly.

The right wing is inherently better for the common man because things actually work under conservative policies. It seems that is where the Brazilian pres. and the Philippines Pres. have differences. A few months ago the Philippines Pres. closed down a major tourist island that was being overwhelmed by uncontrolled tourism that was creating major environmental problems.
