Strauch is missing an eye. He lost it in one of his first battles. And Krel lost a leg in her first battle. I didn't mean to do that. I hope all of the Inquisition doesn't have one body part missing or this is gonna be awkward.

Do you think some of the Sword-Singers would have joined in? I thought it would be an interesting tidbit to mention when I get around to replying to Hadrian and Strauch
Also, I was going over apps earlier and I noticed yours still had the coding off. You think you'll get to fixing that soon?

The Sword-Singers did assist because the necromancer threatened Castle Skyer, our capital. And yes, I'll be fixing the coding soon, I've just been real busy.

Eh, I'm not sure the necromancer would've gone that far. He was inside Snow Elf land and primarily threatening the Dominion. Was more wondering if some roaming band of mercenaries might've signed up for a good fight.

What I meant was, the necromancer's influence threatened our capital. Lots of nearby heretics, goblins, and bandits started getting bolder. But yeah, most of Clan Sword-Singer signed on as mercenaries.

Faction Region(s): Although their power is concentrated in the Urban Center and they wield significant influence within the Western Heartlands, the Church operates in some form in nearly every region.
Description/Lore: The worship of the Nine Divines stretches as far back as the scripture cares to remember, long before the Church itself was founded as an institution. Originally, each of the Divines had their own Priesthood within the Western Heartlands which preached the faith. It wasn’t until one of the first elvish Empires began to conquer its way through the human settlements of the region that the followers of the Divines began to see themselves as a single congregation. Persecuted by the elves as purveyors of heretics against their own foreign faith, the humans nevertheless clung to their old beliefs. Eventually, a sense of shared religious heritage contributed to a rebellion that forced the elves to retreat back to their historical borders.
While the period of persecution had brought the Divines together into a single pantheon in the eyes of their followers, there was still no single institution responsible for organising the religion. It wasn’t until the Shar Imperium expanded into the Western Heartlands that the Emperor of the day saw a benefit in co-opting the local religious practices to secure his rule. Announcing that the worship of the Divines was the official state religion, the Emperor established the Church inside his capital and it became increasingly powerful throughout the large state. Then, while the borders of the Empire shrunk and its core cities began to split and squabble, the Church remained as a reminder of their shared history.
As such, while the Church itself does not command armies or legions, it wields significant political influence both within the capital of the Theocracies and the throughout the Western Heartlands. Its membership of the Inquisition and its force of Paladins also allows it to call upon force should the need ever arise.
Races that are part of the faction: All, although humans do form the bulk of their followers. Some claim that the Church has begun to discriminate against elves, however.
Additional Info: Some accuse the Church of being a corrupt organisation, with its highest members more interested in secular power and influence that serving the Pantheon. This is, of course, resolutely denied by the Church.

But in all seriousness, I think you missed my post that power is heavily decentralized in the Inquisition. Which means Witch Hunters are pretty much free to investigate their own churches if they suspect of heresy or other criminal activity

- Weapon Summoning: The ability to summon any weapon of any choosing at will. The weapons that she could summon are only swords, spears, staves and shields. She can summon only one weapon at a time or can only summon a shield and another weapon. Her weapons will disappear and she will have to summon them again if she lets go of them. They must never leave her hands if she wishes to use them. Using her summoned weapons for a long time can tire her and more tired she is, the weaker her weapon becomes until it can easily be shattered and she will be forced to summon another weapon.
- Arcane Deflection: The ability to weave magic to fortify herself from harm. She could form her magic into a shield that, to others, is perceived as something with the color of the sky. The shield is also described as something like a wall. When using this ability, she could not cast other spells and must concentrate on keeping the shield up for a maximum of ten minutes or it will break. She could protect herself and another person but can only hold the shield for five minutes.
- Power Surge: The ability to gather magic until she has stored sufficient or more than sufficient magic that, when the time is right, she could release against nearby targets. This ability is described as something she uses when in immediate danger and there is no room for her. So to make room, she uses her stored up magic, releasing them in order to push away targets and cause harm to them internally. Often, this causes internal bleeding, internal rupturing, internal swelling and fractures or dislocations.
- Kabuto: An ability named after a common term for helmet in her family, this allows her to temporarily boost the armor she or another person is wearing with magic. Infusing the armor with magical particles that could reinforce the material the armor is made of. However, this ability only lasts for a few vital minutes (usually five minutes) as the magic has to leave the armor and return to her or dissipate.
- Trauma: An ability that she dislikes using. It uses up all of her magic so that she could concentrate it into her summoned weapon. When that is done, it reinforces the magical material of her summoned weapon and in addition, it causes her own soul to become infused with magic, enabling her to become incredibly protective of others, becoming enraged at anyone or anything that hurts them during combat. Trauma lasts only for 1 minute but allows her to magically gain temporary strength. She also gains temporary resistance to melee attacks until her 1 minute is up.
- Magical Oath to the Legion: Arialista is loyal without a doubt to her Legion. However in order to keep herself in check, her aunt cast a spell on her that would cause her to remain loyal to the guild, no matter what direction it may go. She has no memory of this though as her aunt had erased all memory of her asking her aunt to do this and the rest of it. The consequences of her breaking that oath unless the guild releases her from it is magical paralysis. She is very much unlikely to turn against them.
- Magical Consumption: Due to her summoning, she needs more magic than most mages. She is forced to consume potions frequently and at higher doses. She is also forced to rest after using her weapons for long periods of time or for summoning them frequently. Although she may use potions, she could use her ability to steal mana
- Magical Limits: Due to her abilities, she is limited to summoning her weapons and that alone. While she could do basic magic spells, she is most focused on summoning her weapons and using them but can be easily tired or easily subdued with intelligent combat or so. Arialista is also vulnerable to various fatal or near fatal consequences as she requires magic. Without magic, she cannot summon her weapons and she cannot also sustain herself that much.
- War Fatigue: Although a veteran, she has grown tired of war. Due to this, she is unlikely to take up causes that demand her reason without good reason. She is more likely to take up causes that are for the good of others or for the guilds interest.
- Dou - Japanese style breastplate
- armored sleeves
- Potion belt - A belt of small mana potions that she wears around her waist
- shin guards

What's really worrying me is how much influence your Church has in the Inquisition. I did not plan on a church having a lot of political power (Even though it's worthless in the Free City) in the Inquisition. Sure, you got major religions but their using their power to defend the world from the forces of darkness and assisting the lesser known religions. From what I'm getting off of you and the app, the Church is more concerned with its own survival rather than the survival of forces of good as a whole.
And that's scaring me that this might distort the vision of the Inquisition since I'm planning to expand on its lore through Strauch's dialogue with the other adventurers.

Bah, who cares about endurance when you have a gun.
