THE SLEEPING THRONE

The year is 2183, more than 20 years after the 4th Pacific War. 23 Years into the Pan-Asiatic Occupation of Fardhin, the Imperial Throne lies unoccupied; sleeping, and waiting for its master. Bombarded by treaties, laws and restrictions; the Moro people of Fardhin have had enough; the time is now to reclaim the glory, that was once the Fardhinon Empire.

Halman Colony, Mars
It's been 24 years since the end of the siege of Halman, and much has happened since. Colonial Governor and Armas Fardo Chairman Padre Vigile for one, has been ousted; now replaced by Patrick Mansuduyan, who has with the help of now Admiral of the Halman Fleet, Hierro Aguja, ordered the construction of the new fleet. Much of the old fleet and military has been decommissioned and reformed, learning from the mistakes of the 4th Pacific War and the Siege of Halman.

Imperial Palace, Manila, Fardhin
A Pan-Asiatic Pana Destroyer hovers above Manila in its red coat, performing its daily patrol over the city. As it casts its shadow upon the Imperial Family's residence. As Juanita finishes her daily prayers facing Mecca, she goes to the balcony; looking to the north. To the north, where they have sent away her husband; hoping to extract his secrets. He will hold, she is sure of it; but she fears what he may have to endure to keep his dignity.

The throne that was meant to be hers, now lay empty; coveted by her brother, who now serves the enemy as a puppet prince. She weeps, as the Tagalogs take apart her country; the once-great empire, and turn it into a twisted manifestation of their pan-Tagalog ideals. Suddenly, she hears howling; not from wolves, there are no wolves this high up. No, she looks above her; and sees horrifyingly, a stream of smoke follow a raging metal object as it flew in a path, heading for the red Pana.

It hit its target, a weak spot only a military man could know, and the Pana began a smoky descent into the city. The mere fact that this was able to get past the city defenses alone would have been concerning, but the path of the missile showed that it was launched from within the city; meaning that somewhere, someone had gotten their hands on a military-grade handheld missile launcher, snuck it into the city, and had the technical knowhow to know where to shoot it to bring down an entire Pana warship.

This was followed with sounds of gunshots, all across the city; bombings, and many other things. Screams and shouts, as the conflict began.

Much Earlier, Somewhere Outside Manila
Hunched backs, wrinkled faces, saggy skin, gray hair and balding spots. Old people. They all sat in a dark room, in neatly arranged chairs; listening to a speaker in front of them.

Military uniform, with the insignia of a silver bar; a 1st lieutenant. He wore an armband, with the old flag of the Fardhinon Empire. He was like much of his audience, old and grumpy. Yet, none of them were fat like most old people; they were kept in a well shape, though they had many scars and looked as if they had stared death in the eye while strangling it. And they had, and will again; for one, last, time.

"I'm sure you all know why we're here." Said the commanding officer. "We've been fighting 20 years against the occupation, with most of our brothers and sisters killed or captured right in front of us. Now, we're scattered all across Fardhin, fighting in small guerilla units against a massive army with most of our weapons. But hope, by Allah's name, shall come to us. We've received word, from one of our old contacts; that help is on the way."

He fell silent for a moment, sighing before continuing. "I have sent you all the plans, so you probably know this already; but let me remind you again. We will all die, there is no other way around it. So if you do not feel sure about this, then leave."

The room was silent. Nobody moved an inch. The lieutenant smiled, "Well the, to victory or martyrdom it is!"

"TO VICTORY OR MARTYRDOM! ALLAHU AKBAR!" The audience responded.

His holotablet, on the desk before him, lay flooded with alerts- yet he remained composed. He had seen this day coming for a very long time. His phone began to ring. As he leaned it to his temple, a familiar voice began to speak.

"Hello, Secretary-General."

"Aquino. I take it you've heard?"

"It's the 22nd Century old man. Of course. I've told you, you should have seized immortal tyranny of the nation when you had the chance. God save us from the bureaucracy."

"You, of all people, know it doesn't matter. The people shall vote for me each and every time. Precisely because it's the 22nd Century. Facts do not matter. Principles do."

"Whatever you say, old man. Your beloved Congress wants to hear your voice. Stop ignoring them."

"Then, as they wish."

These are the leaders we have offered an olive branch to. Whilst our farms offered prosperity, whilst our factories employed work, whilst we were building refrigerators-- our neighbors were building bombs.

Their petrified ways' dysfunctional paranoia shall feed nothing but free ammunition for our Western rivals, and corpses for our overcrowded graveyards. A nation of lazy braggarts wreaking of old money and new royalty.

But not our beloved Pan-Asia; we compete, we strive, we create, we innovate, we unite. We spit in the face of their wretched Fascist march. We shall crush them with our spirit. We shall push them back with a wave of our blood!

The time has come to deal the enemy a terrific blow. The blow will be struck by the combined forces of our Air, Sea, Land, and Galactic Forces together. Our allies at our side, our bayonets steadfast, our ships loaded; let them never grow old- let us cut the weed from the root!"

Manila

Under the military reformation of Fardhin-grown Governor Aquino and his Congressional referendum on Asia's new-age army, an additional service branch emerged below the supervision of the Air Force, yet from the Victorian-style evolution of the EWD's warmachines: The Pan-Asiatic Aerial Vanguard Division, or, the Pan-Asiatic AeroGuard. 30 minutes of the firefight was all it took to assemble the Philippine sect of the armada. This included re-integrated remnants of the Florentine Fleet and the brand-new behemoth Asia had to offer; the Mordred Sentinels. 120-ft aerial renditions of the atypical armored assault unit, yet twice its size and firepower. They were equipped with bulky Sakuradite focus-beam plasma atmoizer canons, similar to miniature 3:1 recreations of the Marcos Canon.

As the giants hovered with repulsor boosters above the burning city, a ferocious battle on the ground terrorized the civilians- who, despited fleeding, were armed with personal weapons. Few who attempted to flee to Fardhine units were shot down by both sides, sometimes, by accident.

Nevertheless, the professional City Gendarmerie were pinned to their stations by the rebels, desperately awaiting for the Asian Military Command to send further reinforcements. The airships would take far longer to arrive from the Capital, whilst the Navy, from Manila Bay, recieved orders to fire upon futile bastions of counterresistance.

Manila
The old bastards fought like hell, all fifty-seven of them. They knew there was no chance of winning, yet still they fought; for the future of the Moro people. From Molluca, to Papua; these were the Moro people, fighting for Fardhin. They needed to give off enough of a good act to make it look like one final valiant attempt; and so all records and all communications were wiped clean, replaced simply with implications for a plan meant to retake Manila in one fell swoop.

In truth however, fifty-seven idealistic old vets can't take a capital that quick. Even given enough time, they would never be able to do so; they were simply disorganized militants, up against an entire army with even better versions of their weapons from twenty years ago. This battle was lost the moment it started, nothing but a suicide attack; and they knew it. But it was worth it.

While it was true, that many supporters would be disheartened and have their morale lowered were the true sequence of this plan to come into fruition; but that would just be the initial phase. This single, joke of an attack, was all part of one grand scheme.

Batanes
The sea crashes against the shore, as the wind blows through the quiet dawn of the morning. Fog covers the mountains, as clouds pass with the whistling wind. The ambience seems undisturbed, even as a small craft on its shores is covered up with greenery by a group of Moro pirate soldiers.

Twenty men, not consisting of the crew were on the isle. One fire-team, FA-G; and two squads, F-1S and F-2R. F-2R stayed with FA-G, by the craft and its crew; while F-1S would begin a search of the island by launching a series of small drones the size of one's palm. They scoured the island, searching almost religiously for their target; a man in a possibly worn and torn white military uniform with an old cane-sword.

Elsewhere on the Island
An old Idjang sat on the hilltop, surrounded by mist and mountains. An old man in a torn white military uniform, he seemed entirely out of place by the fireplace; which cooked the meals he hunted for himself. He disliked to eat fish and birds, usually having a preference for beef, and pork was forbidden in his faith; he had no choice but to eat such foods. Most of the beef on the island came from domesticated cows, which he found himself unable to hunt; so he had to eat foods he would have preferred not to eat, alongside with fruits, berries, herbs and other foods from plants.

Little did he know, that he would soon get his chance to leave the island; as a small flying object captured an image of him, sending it back to people who were looking for him.

Manila
1700 Hours

At least 53; 28 soldiers and 25 civilians, had been confirmed killed by the Ultranationalist terror-attack. 57 men fought valiantly against a response vanguard of 200 men, aided by naval guided-missile strikes and a cautious AeroGuard squad of 7 Mordred Sentinels. As the clock struck 5PM, an entire armada of 1,000 more soldiers from the 11th Urban Fighting Company arrived from Nueva Ecija by train. Many, serving the daily draft, were caught completely off-guard by the attack. The collateral damage was insanely consequential, as the rebels, finally pushed back to the business district; ran low on ammunition, barricaded by several ruin of concrete.

Ultimately, their exact location was pinpoint by a scout unit. They met their demise as a Class-J Sakuradite ballistic missile released its dematerializing plasma components on the entire city sector. The siege, which had dragged on for hours, ended 23 minutes later.

However, these details were not disclosed to the general public. State Media announced that a massive plot to overthrow the Regional government was set into motion by Fardhinon unification guerilla, and that their fictitious leader, "Supremo Maharlika"- supposedly, supplied by the Fardhinon government itself, was killed during the attack. The numbers were bloated from 1,200 men against 57 to 1,200 men against 5,000. PAFNA-OSM's coverage then droned on to talk about condemnation, violation of treaties- bureaucratic nonsense.

AMC Field Marshal Dương Hiệp Hòa: "We assure the general public that there will be [no more].. of these attacks in the future. No further comment."

But everybody in the AMC, Congress, the Party; all knew that this was just the beginning. This was exactly how it was a hundred years ago. A strong feeling of sickness and bad faith settled into the paranoia's re-emergence.

But while the Capital was in disdain, an elite team from the SFR was making its way to Batanes...

Everyone knew what came next.

Batanes
Squad F-1S had found and made contact with their target, who they stood in front of now. They had contacted Squad F-1R, in order to secure his retrieval and cover their tracks with the SA-79 JPV12.

"So it's finally time..." Said the man.

"So it is, Grand Admiral." replied one of the soldiers. "Worry not, we can cover our tracks and make sure they never find out you ever even made contact with us. We have an SA Element with us."

Patricio smirked. "Which model?"

"SA-79 series, 12th model."

"SA-79 huh? Padre Vigile must have been busy."

"No, not Vigile. Vigile is a fugitive." The soldier interrupted. "He was replaced with your kinsman from the Lumads, Prince Mansuduyan, about 10 years ago."

Much later, F-2R met up with them; and left behind the SA-79 unit where Grand Admiral Patricio was. The SA-79 Infiltration Android was molded to look and act just like the Grand Admiral himself, with memories that do not include any military secrets and his genetic material. In other words, it was a cyborg that would replace the Grand Admiral's presence on the island.

Codenamed "The Sage Project", the SA Android Series were a series of humanoid robots with fabricated memories and behavioral patterns; as well as layers of human organic material atop a skeletal frame with many computer and robotic systems and an artificial nervous system. The Sage Project was a complete and total secret, and was never discovered by any other nation in the world. Before the loss during the 4th Pacific War, fourteen SA-63 elements were successfully infiltrated into various countries; though they remain lost and inactive, likely living normal lives with happy families by now. Three attempted infiltration into the Pan-Asiatic States; two were initially successful, while one malfunctioned after eating noodles, went on a rampage, was destroyed by locals, burned in fear it was a demon, and dumped into the river only to be recovered in the sea weeks after its unsuccessful deployment.

They were taking a big risk here. If ever they closely examined this Patricio beyond just any normal check-up, they might notice something peculiar about him; possibly revealing the existence of such a project, thus revealing that the Grand Admiral had escaped and possibly sparking a massive purge to expose other SA Units, and even possibly using it as an excuse to dispose of political dissidents.

The entire section loaded onto the small craft, with Patricio on board; and began its escape from the island. Even if they were spotted by the Pan-Asiatic forces, they wouldn't dare to destroy the craft immediately, only to neutralize it; as to secure any possibly valuable information of rebel organization.

"This is Abdul to Suleiman, do you copy? Over." the staff sergeant said to the radio as the boat sped off from the shore.

"This is Suleiman, copying. Over."

"The target has been secured and the sage has been planted. Requesting immediate pick-up, over."

"Affirmative, Abdul. Abdullah will be dispatched to your location, followed by the herd. Over."

"Roger that, over and out."

The Moro Pirate Destroyers were rarely seen beyond the Moro seas from the Malay Peninsula to Papua, and they were barely ever seen past Visayas. However, a pirate fleet consisting of the Destroyer the Suleiman, 2 frigates and 4 corvettes including the Abdullah found its way heading to Batanes. The Abdullah in particular, had gone in advance, heading over to assist the pick-up of the fast attack craft the Abdul, which had been heavily modified for stealth operations.

"All ships, spread out," commanded the supposed admiral. "we don't want to be clustered in one spot where they can take us out in one hit. Once you spot a Juan, alert the other ships; but do not engage unless necessary."

The Abdullah corvette arrived just at the location in advance, seeing the Abdul speeding towards it. The Abdul and its load were loaded onto the larger ship, which made a sharp turn and sailed at full speed. They had to make haste now, while a corvette may be small and fast; it was still bigger than a fast attack craft. Its stealth capabilities were probably outdated by 20 years, so they had to make haste; it was only a matter of time before they would be spotted now.

"Roger. I'll say again. Tumbaga Squad to Base. The Grand Admiral is alive and kicking. Nothing seems fishy. He says he hasn't seen or heard from the South in a very, very long time."

"That doesn't make sense. Ask the locals. Interrogate students. Do whatever it takes. They can't have possibly been late to take their queen-piece back."

"Heneral. Have you considered that maybe High Command may have been mistaken?"

"No. That can't be it. Leave half your squad to the islands and establish camp. I want the rest back here for briefing. Understood, Daimyo?"

"Understood."

The Sword of Damocles

Space. Once infinite and void of life, now lively- with mankind on the brink of reaching for the stars themselves. The orbital Pan-Asiatic space station lay as if it were in a state of tentative war. Reports on the movements of every national and international ship exiting and entering earth from and to Halman and New Intramuros; supply ships and the like, flooded the data terminals of the rusty floating-fortress for each and every rotation of the earth.

Suddenly, an alarm rang throughout the nerve-center of the base. An alarm that had not been heard in a very, very long time by the war-weary veteran commandos whose scarce visits to New Intramuros for supplies remained the only bridge to civilization they possessed. Orders. From the AMC directly.

"Global coordinates and orders to...? Is this some kind of joke? We--"

"No it is most certainly not, Daimyo Han Xieren. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

A familiar face recognized only from the newspapers appeared standing still, as the magnetic doors of the chamber shut tight and locked.

"Governor Aquino. If it isn't the Secretary-General's official lapdog. What is this?"

"Well. Consider it a demotion. Or a coup."

Several bullets entered Xieren's forehead, as an M1911 stood firm in the hands of a masked member of the People's Police behind Governor Aquino. Aquino faced the crowd of IT workers manning their respective terminals around the Damocles' operational headquarters.

"This remains between the State, and each one of you. Today, we are hereby violating the Treaty of 2161. But none of you, certainly not anyone else- especially the Fardhinon government, should know this. Execute the order."

The room remained silent and motionless. A shot was fired in the air.

"NOW!"

The Sea

A beam of blue light struck the Moro Pirate fleet below, disguised as a mere strike of lightning to the civilians in the vicinity. Electromagnetic Pulse. Hastily, the P.A.S Type CAG-112C Yuan-Class Battlecruiser Zongdao emerged from the foggy mist that embraced the rouge pirate party, accompanied by elements of the 3rd and 12th Pan-Asiatic Naval Fleet from La Union. Immediately, two diametrically opposed Mordred Sentinel companies took-off from the runways East and West of the enemy's vicinity. Using long-range Mordred Cannons, they open fire.

20 years had passed since the Asian Intervention. During that time he had married, and now his children were off in the Reichswehr
Well, except for one.
Annemarie slowly crept into the room. At 10 years old, she was the youngest so far out of his children.
"Pa?"
He turned around. "Anne? Why are you up this late?"
Annemarie sighed "Well-you see... We haven't heard from Louise, or Hans, or Hermann..."
Crassus smiled. "Don't worry. They're fine."
"...you sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure. Now go back to bed."
She nodded.
As she left, Crassus turned back around, and picked up a pen.

The city is quiet.
Silent.
The silence is deafening.
Then, from the distant citadel, a horn sounds.
The fortress-city stirs to life. The Night Watch turns in, exhausted from 8 hours of staring out across the sea. Sailors rush back and forth, loading torpedo boats, battlecruisers, and the 2 nuclear carriers with provisions.
Across the city companies report for muster, lasrifles presented and bayonets affixed.
350mm mortars are hauled into position and loaded.
A similar scenario played out from Port Erika to Qingdao.
The Prussian-Polish war machine slowly began to awake.

The Sea
"Abdullah to Suleiman, do you copy?"

No reply.

"Do you copy?"

Again no reply. This immediately raised suspicions

"Do you copy? Over."

"Suleiman to Abdullah!" the radio suddenly responded. "We got hit by some sort of EMP! Auxiliary backup power is running now, but we got hit hard! Two directions, barrages of some sort of energy weapons! Melted some of our armor, weapons and even detonated a few missiles! Execute plan B!"

"What's Plan B?" the Grand Admiral asked. All the others looked to him, with looks on their faces.

"Sorry Sultan." The head officer said, likely referring to Patricio's old royal title in Lanao before his exile. "This isn't going to be the most comfortable ride."

"Some experimental drone or-

They suddenly grabbed the man all at once, overwhelming him before shoving him into some capsule. The capsule was put into a torpedo tube, and launched into the depths.There, a signal pulsed for the Oro; an aligned submarine.

Meanwhile, one of the frigates and a corvette had been nearly completely melted; were half sinking and on fire. The orders to fire all missiles had already been given, which were targeted at the various enemies. The other remaining ships spread out, firing long range ultra-precise high-frequency laser weaponry at the flying mechs from a moving distance, intending to simply explode their engines if not hit their pilots.

Yggdrasil Drive Damaged. Preparing to Eject... ERROR.

"Crap! Crap! Eject!"

Another luminous blue beam struck a Z-00 Mordred from the Northeastern unit. Within seconds, the Sentinel exploded from a concentrated blast at its right-joint. The propulsors overheated, and the pod was torn apart by a fiery inferno. Then, another one hit a modified Xi'an-Type Glasgow in the Factsphere; causing its pilot to eject. Then another, in the pod itself, 200 meters away. The entire unit conducted a tactical retreat to rendezvous with the other company, but ultimately, the line of fire caught the amateur commanders off-guard and panicking.

A separate unit continued to push further into the range of fire which the Grand Admiral was held within, suffering heavy casualties. One of the Type-05M Akatsuki Mizushiki amphibious frames launched a stray bullet with its VSG000 40mm VARIS Rifle (which had initially been targeting the auxiliary engine mere meters away) into the ship's hull, but it was too late. Their target, unbeknownst to the attacking forces, had already been transferred.

The high-velocity sub was quick to be tracked by the sonar Type S2M Multispectral Sensor System of three (Mordred) Type-05Ms attempting to gain cover by flying at a depression. Quickly, two of them dove into the water. Their Type H2M Hydrojet Thrusters propelled them further whilst the firefight continued above sea level. It was a race against time, and the enemy had a clear advantage. Victory here did not matter, but the hasty escape of this submarine meant guilt in the eyes of Commander-Daimyo Che Ji-Su- an upstart and young womanly general from Andong, to whom the operation was entrusted. Her personal flagship-sentinel, the "Harper" Guren Nishiki pursued the stray submarine above the water as well, trailing 190 meters behind.

"All units! This is Harper! Target acquired! Formation KP93! Air Phalanx!"

The Sea
Submerging three objects while a destroyer was in the area is typically advised against. Yet, here they were; with three recently airborne mechs suddenly submerging underwater to chase after a submarine. Even doing this back in the World Wars would end very badly.

"Oro, this is Suleiman, three of the PAS flying mechs have submerged to go after you; do you copy? Over."

"Affirmative Suleiman, do you have a suggestion for a course of action? Over."

"The Suleiman will launch explosive projectiles; if you still see them coming, launch your own. Over."

"Roger that. Over and out."

"Launch homing torpedoes!" Commanded the officer in charge.

The destroyer launched its anti-submarine warfare weapons, torpedoes homing in for the three mechs, which weren't exactly anechoic. This made them easy targets for homing torpedoes.

Simultaneously, all ships fired a concentrated missile barrage at the Battlecruiser, intending to sink the flagship. While maintaining constant movement, the ships continued their invisible laser fire at the mechs.

Mars
All throughout Halman, across the surface of the red planet; workers and machines worked endlessly to harvest the mineral riches of Mars. The product of these mines would go through the countless industries of Halman, bringing material for its powerful factories. Spread across the Martian landscape, Halman factories and shipyards continued to produce weapons of war, well after almost 23 years since the fall of Fardhin and the siege of Halman.

Governor-General Mansuduyan, Chairman of the Armas Fardo Company watched from his office in the Iron Spire; as newly built warships took off and soldiers performed military exercised with armored vehicles. The air force flew across the land, performing their own exercises as well. There was no doubt; that for 23 years, Halman has been preparing for war.

In a spread out formation, Mansuduyan observed a Battle Fleet of a Florentino I Class Carrier, 2 Marawi Class Cruisers, 6 Saiful Rijal Class Destroyers, 12 Wichaochan Class Frigates and 18 Abu Bakar Class Corvettes as they hovered above the landscape; simulating a defense against an enemy like those in the Siege of Halman. Missiles were launched against them, which they quickly countered with laserfire. When met with laserfire, they were able to test out their new shields; which would have been impossible 20 years earlier.

Several other fleets patrolled the Martian territory of Halman, as well as outer space; all spread out in a massive formation, prepared to never again make the same mistakes from 20 years earlier. While each ship was indeed spread far from one another, it would be not so easy to penetrate their lines; as any foe to try would be met with barrages of countless arms and weaponry, including but not limited to, missiles, kinetic shells, and laser fire. Their spread, much unlike the denser formations of earlier eras, allowed them to cover a wider area, gradually decreasing strategic depth and preventing enemy exploitation of it.

The Halman Fleet was now mostly divided into three Battle Fleets; one to cover the space beyond Mars, another to defend Mars, and another one which could be used for offensive attacks. This had in a similar effect, lessened the exploitable strategic depth; creating both a formidable defense, and a convenient offensive power against some other nations, such as the owners of the Sword of Damocles, whose orbital fleet they now use to police their airspace rather than a trans-planetary fleet to defend themselves from any advance force.

However, there were matters still in need of settling; as Mansuduyan knew, before any such attack could be carried out. He had to ensure that something like the Siege of Halman would never happen again, and he doubted this fleet was enough. There needed to be assurance. He would contact their neighbour, the Ares Imperium, successor to one of the previous besiegers of Halman.

The Sentinels each released a furious high-velocity pair of harpoons from their shoulder-guards towards the incoming Torpedoes, which came wave after wave. However, that wouldn't be enough, as the range of their release could not match the velocity and impact time of the projectiles hurled toward them.

From a flurry of fire and seawater, the remains of one of the Sentinels floated above the cold waters. Che could only watch. Putting her boosters into overdrive, she slowly achieved the maximum acceleration. Parts of her armor tore away, her Sentinel's cooling system warned her of the danger. She crossed herself, and prepared to submerge.

"Kapitan-Daimyo! No!"

The submarine was fast, but it was also heavier. Drawing her own Sentinel's Slash Harken, she pierced the top of the submarine from above the water. The pursuing Sentinel underwater attempted to maneuver below the Sentinel's underbelly.

The missile barrage hit the ship's hull clean, immobilizing it. Sailors were thrown overboard, whilst Cpt. Xiao Aguado struggled to keep the crew focused. The ship began a slow depression into the clear waters, but the main gun systems remained functioning. Running into Starboard, Cpt. Aguado's aide-de-camp, Dt. Fernando Balisi of the Land Army alerted the men of the order to fire any and all weapons at the singular submarine designated by the Commander of the AeroGuard.

In the engine room, a fire started to blaze as Engineers struggled to keep the failing Sakuradite core from collapsing in on itself. One more hit to the electronics bay would surely mean a miniature Chernobyl in the water. In fear of this, some began to jump over deck. An S.O.S-order had already been sent to the mainland, requesting for an escalation to a higher Battle Phase and thus, the arrival of the AeroGuard's behemoths.

The cool and calm Pacific waters were shining in a bright luminous azure aura as, above deck, officers begged the Captain to organize a full-scale retreat. All hands were on deck, as the greenlight for the evacuation was given, with the sailors arming themselves from what little they could salvage.

As she left, Crassus turned back around, and picked up a pen.

Crates of raw Aetherium, Sakuradite, and Alloys were being mounted into each one; all disguised as ordinary, civilian petroleum trucks. On each crate, the abbreviation "N.V.W.S".

From the shadows, two army men in black uniform shook hands with an undisclosed General.

"Consummatum est, Heneral."

"Captain! The enemy has attached itself to the hull's outer shell!"

"Shit-

"Watch your mouth captain, it's not over yet." The Grand Admiral interrupted. "Not while I'm here. Status report."

"Outer shell's been penetrated, but not breached. Water hasn't leaked in."

Velez examined the enemy. A battle mech was never meant to be submerged in the first place. He doubted this thing could handle the underwater pressure or the velocity of the sub underwater.

"Launch missiles at the cruiser and the mech companies, then dive and accelerate to full speed ahead to our location." The Grand Admiral commanded. "Either the stowaway lets go or the pressure turns the mech into a condensed ball and crushed the pilot. Then relay the commands to retreat."

That is exactly what was done. In a pirate-like fashion, all ships fled in all directions to confuse the enemy; it's impossible for them to chase them all at once, before missiles bombarded the battlecruiser's underside with explosives and missiles detonates in the air surrounding the mech companies.

Condemnation of Traitors and Collaborators, and Declaration of Independence

To everyone who is listening to this broadcast by the National Revival Association; we thank you for your defiance and bravery. We are more than sure that the German and Pro-German authorities will try to silence us. We also understand that by watching, listening or even reading the transcript of this message is you are putting yourself in danger. But stay resolute and do not allow the fear to divide you.

Yesterday the representatives of the National All-Slavic Council have signed two important documents. The Declaration of our Independence, and the Condemnation of Traitors and Collaborators. The first document demands the government in Konigsberg to cede all Sorbian, Czech, and Polish territories and returns them under popular control of the Slavic people. We do not think that the feudal lords of Germany will allow such action to take place, meaning we will have to fight and bleed for what should our natural right.

We understand not everyone will be up to this task, but there are still things even you can do for your freedoms:

1) Spread the word: We can not liberate ourselves if the eyes of our brothers are cluttered by German propaganda. Print transcripts of this message and give it to people you can trust; to your friends, families... Show them they are not alone against the tyranny.

2) Oppose the draft: For far too long the Slavic people were forced to fight the German wars. We have to put the end to their slave armies. Evade the draft at any cost.

3) Don't join the paramilitaries: The paramilitaries may seem to be mostly separate from the government. But it is just an illusion, they are under full control of Konigsberg. If you want to serve your brothers and sisters, join any cell of the Home Army. If you can't find any then form your own.

4) Oppose Germanization: Konigsberg has successfully pushed many Slavic languages, except for Polish, outside the formal correspondence. We have to reverse this motion. Support literature is written in Slavic languages, and if you are able, write your own. If you have been Germanized try to re-learn your language.

5) Do not work in the public sector: Entire bureaucracy is centrally controlled from Konigsberg itself. By working even as a postman, you are supporting the German state and helping them to destroy your own freedom.

The second document is no-less important. As you know, the German state has created an effective illusion of Prussian-Polish brotherhood. But that's what it is,an illusion. But the fact remains that it is just an alliance between Prussian and Polish nobility. Remember that Polish lords, many of them already intertwined with German families, sold and betrayed the Slavic people. They do not represent Poland in any way. We can ensure you that justice will take care of them, once we establish a republican Slavic state.

Obviously, Polish nobility is not the only group guilty of these crimes. Many Slavs are supporting the German overlords, and some are more straightforward than others. Every Slavic politician, be it your city mayor or high-ranking minister, is where he is because the Germans allowed him to be there. Take everything they say carefully.

This will be a long struggle, but a necessary one. Only other alternative is to be crushed under the German boot and fade away from history.

It was a cold autumn day in Katowice when four men, between thirty and fifty years old, arrived at the local train stations wearing British warm overcoats. The Národní všeslovanský sněm (National All-Slavic Council) appointed each of the four envoys to represent every Slavic group present in the Commonwealth. The Polish envoy, Dr. Jez, a former Polish nobleman, took the lead. Just the fact that he was a Pole was a great bonus for negotiation, not to mention he was well-educated in the political science. It was actually when he was studying this field, his anti-Prussian ideology came to be. He changed his German-sounding name and even Polish surname to distance himself from his pro-German noble family.

When they get to the building where the meeting was taking place, Jez politely knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it.
