Bio: Ghazi was a esteemed astrologer in his village. People would come to him to know what their futures would be. Ghazi would look at the stars and tell them. One night, he was studying the stars when he noticed one seemed to be getting bigger. He was then hit in the chest with the fallen star. He woke up several hours later to find the star infused with his chest. He got up, and realized he had been surrounded by 5 bandits. Terrified, he threw his hands out, surprised to feel a light tingle in his fingers. Before he knew what had happened, he had burned the bandits to a crisp. Frightened, he fled the scene and never returned to his village. He eventually stumbled upon a mage who specialized in fire magic. He took Ghazi in as an apprentice, and when Ghazi told him what had happened, the mage simply said "You have been chosen by the gods for something greater than yourself. Use your gift to do good." From the point on, Ghazi was a devoted student and devout worshiper of the gods. After 10 years learning to master his power, Ghazi left the school at 30 years old, and traveled the world for the next 5 years of his life, helping people, stopping cultists, and helping whenever he could. Eventually, on his 35th birthday, he stumbled upon a Legion outpost that was besieged by a goblin horde. He rushed in to help the Legionnaires, killing 12 goblins on the way in. With the help of Ghazi, the Legion pushed back the horde. He then saw the noble cause of the Legion, and sent an application form in to see if he would be allowed to join.
Heroic Boon: The Dragon's Touch: When Ghazi touched the Stone, he felt a wave of fire rush through him. His boon allowed him to be immune to flames, which meant he could wear light armor instead of heavy armor because he didn't need to protect himself from his flames.
Abilities:
  • [Astrologer]: Ghazi can understand what and where certain constellations are, so if he gets lost he has a general idea of where he is.
  • [Fire blast]: Ghazi can shoot fire from his fingers, allowing him to burn his enemies without going near them.

  • He will not do things he believes will anger the gods, stopping him from doing anything that would harm an innocent

Bio: Asra grew up in the Northern Reaches with her older brother Alcide, where the winters were cold but the rest of the seasons were actually quite temperate. Her name means "travel at night", as her parents were traveling to another village when she was born...and she was also named for Tamsin and Elric's very close friend Azriel (one of the children's godfathers and a human alchemist who had a hand in their upbringing). She grew up in a large pack of werewolves, where hunters comprised many of its prominent members and in such an environment one can expect a young girl to become a tomboy at least in some aspects. A curious and precocious child, Asra wanted to explore everything out there as soon as she could walk and somebody often had to watch over her to make sure that she didn't get hurt. Whether it was studying weapons usage with Declan or potions with Azriel, whom she considered her uncles, or learning how to sew and grow food with her mother, hunting with her father or playing with her brother, she was nearly always outside and rarely stayed idle. Speaking of her brother, she and Alcide were practically inseparable from their earliest days and always stayed near one another. The grown-ups in the village often jokingly called them "ducklings" because they imprinted on each other. Oddly enough, Asra was the more aggressive one and Alcide was the more soft-spoken. As such, she became more protective of him physically and was sort of like his bodyguard in a way especially when they had to deal with bigotry from some of the more ignorant members of society, not only for Al's partner choices but for their heritage as well. (Asra doesn't really discriminate when it comes to gender, for her it's more of a personality thing).

Alcide was more interested in studying history and Asra was more of the botanist who knew much about herbs and plants. She wanted to venture as widely as she could, learning a little bit of everything but the two of them decided to finish their education first. They went to separate schools and it was the longest that they'd ever been apart, they wrote to each other about classes, love interests, things like that. After they graduated, they decided to become a traveling pair and had been to numerous places over the last three years but it was quite hard not having a stable place to stay. That's when they heard of the Paean Legion and decided to join, not only for adventure and meeting new people but also for learning opportunities and free room and board, they've been with the Legion for about six months now.
Heroic Boon: Howl of Terror: In her wolf form she can let out a howl that instills fear and disorientation into any enemies in range enough to hear it. This lasts about a good fifteen to twenty minutes or so.
Abilities:
  • [Martial Arts]: (Not really good with ranged weapons, she's great and hand-to-hand combat without weapons...she can literally beat your arse and she's got werewolf endurance, so she can stay up for a good while to beat the shit out of you.)
  • [Rogue]: (Picking locks, gathering info covertly, poisons, the works. She also knows how to dry and preserve food so there's that.)

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t singlehandedly conquer a kingdom):
  • (Besides the basic werewolf limitations, they're still one person against a whole bunch of people. They also don't have magic like that so they can't mow down an entire army.)
  • (Note, you do not have a maximum or minimum of 2 limitations. If you don’t need all those, delete them. If you need more, copy and paste.)

Bio: Alcide (often called Al by close friends) was the oldest of two children of Tamsin and Elric Baragnac, both werewolves. And like typical pack dynamics, the whole pack who basically comprised most of the small town they lived in all had a hand in raising every new child (they take the phrase "it takes a village" quite literally). As such, the kids grew up with a large network of friends and loving adults, chief among them were an older werewolf named Declan and Azriel, his alchemist companion for over thirty years. When they were children, Asra surprisingly was always the more aggressive and protective one contrasted to Alcide's more mild disposition, even moreso when Al revealed to her that he liked boys instead of girls. He often had to stop her from running headlong into dangerous situations, and he was always counseling her even though she rarely heeded it. They would often get into it with bigoted humans and Lycans about their heritage, and as such things were pretty tough on that one. Got into a lot of fights (Asra even more so) but for the most part things were good. The siblings were separated for a while when Alcide went to a college in one of the big cities, and Asra went a little closer to home for a different school as they both wanted to study different things and Asra wanted to travel. Despite this, they kept in touch often and promised to meet up when they both graduated. When their schooling was finished, they left the pack for a while and decided to become adventurers, as they both wanted to see more of the world and stumbled upon the Paean Legion, deciding to join for gold and board.
Heroic Boon: Iron Claws: In wolf form, his claws grow up to three inches and harden and sharpen to the point where he can cut through nearly anything with ease.
Abilities:

  • [Healing Magic]: (He can do minor healing magic and help heal minor to moderate injuries)
  • [Researcher]: He's a huge history nerd and as such has studied widely about history, creature lore and occult lore, he's kinda like the Legion's resident Hermione.

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t singlehandedly conquer a kingdom):
  • (Besides the basic werewolf limitations, they're still one person against a whole bunch of people. They also don't have magic like that so they can't mow down an entire army.)

Description/Lore:
Cousins and kin to the High Elves, Wood Elves are know to be wilder, more violent, and highly territorial of there forests. No one really knows how Wood Elves became who they are but it could be theorized that they were a group of High Elves that rejected the urbanization of their lively hoods and instead choose to live among the trees. They soon spread and lived in tribal societies inhabiting woods preying on those foolish enough to trespass on their territory. Just like their nature, Wood Elf magic is wild in nature and just a potent compared to high elf magic. And their skill with weapons is on par to their kin although letting emotions run loose in combat is highly prevalent in wood elf warriors

Many a woodsman and traveler dare approach a forest without sending a scout or emissary into it as Wood Elves target all that they see threatening to their sacred soil. Indeed, even the Inquisition forbade Witch Hunters pursuing heretics into forest as more than once Wood Elves simply killed both parties under the crimes of trespassing.

While High Elves live in Republics, Wood Elves live under Kings and Chieftains and follow a strict code of honor to live and die. Indeed, Although it mainly applies on how to treat a High Elf. For example, it is absolutely forbidden to kill an High Elf from behind. If it was to be a fight to the death, then it will be down with both sides with their weapons drawn. It's pretty much an accepted fact that Wood Elves only communicate with High Elves on a daily basis. So rare that Wood Elves reveal themselves to civilization that their entire existence is a myth to some villages and towns.

Despite their isolationist exterior, Wood Elves, when befriended, are the most loyal and protective companion anyone could possibly ask for. But just as they make great friends in combat, they are also quick to jump to conclusions a soon as they think as they suspect of betrayal.

Innate Abilities:
[*]One with Nature: Wood Elves are the masters in dealing of healing magic as they are able to cure disease and cleanse corruption that even the most capable High Elves would struggle to purge. There are legends that say Wood Elf magic is capable of resurrection though no witness ever walked away alive if they were caught.
Innate Weaknesses:
[*]Isolationist: Wood Elves are incapable of producing any combat spells to use for fighting. This was mainly because they focus much of their energy is preserving the nature of their homes and that they hardly encounter a foe that didn't fall to their bows and spears.
Additional info:
- Naming Schemes of Wood Elves are similar to Celtic names such as Welsh and Irish names
- Wood Elves seldom wear metal armor and uses leather armor at best. Only the most foolish Wood Elf would sacrifice speed for some protection. Some warriors fight with no armor at all and wear only their normal clothes.

One of the many sub-orders of the orders of the churches that make up the Free City of Faith, the Guild of the Twin Tailed Comet was founded the same day a comet with two tails was seen through the sky by a group of professional duelists who then decided to dedicate their lives to the eradication. WIlhard Strauch's teacher was part of this guild and they have been know for producing the finest users of the rapier in the Urban Centers. Members of this guild wear the symbol of Twin Tailed Comet on their outfits and sometimes their weapons for identification.

Ceridwen was raised in a small and somewhat insular community of wood elves in the Western Heartlands. Ceridwen’s human side gave her a hankering for life beyond her community and she began training as a ranger to help police force the wider forest.

Still her human side remained unsatisfied and it was with no small regret that she resigned her position and left the forest that had, for the last two decades, been her home to join the Legion in order that she might see the wider world.

It was whilst on an adventure in the Northern Reaches that Ceridwen first worked with Telsor Codan. Despite being naturally reserved in her confidence Ceridwen was taken by Telsor’s outgoing confidence And the two worked well together, their differing approaches complimenting the other. Learning that Telsor called Velathri Home, CeridwenHaving been drifting from job to job these last few months Ceridwen decided it was time for a change and so packed her bags and moved to Velathri.

Like Telsor, Ceridwen, despite being a red cloak already has a few jobs under her belt but is keen to move onto the bigger and better challenges that advancement within the Legion will bring.

Heroic Boon: Foresight. The ability to see a few seconds ahead up to three times a day. This ability allows Ceridwen predict which way an opponent will strike, whether Which way Ceridwen should jump to avoid an oncoming carriage etc the actual vision takes only moments to manifest and thus Ceridwen is effectively acting in the moment.

Mild dyslexia
Foresight isn’t entirely predictable - sometimes it will not function when she tries to call upon it yet at others it will give her a flash of premonition without warning

You have my gratitude; Your half Wood Elf will be quite a shock to Strauch and completely unheard of by the Inquisition, the only non-elf faction that had the most interaction with Wood Elves
