Let's start this trainwreck of a post with an apology. I'm sorry. I really am. Didn't mean to disappear like that without even a courtesy post. I'd give an excuse, but I've always thought that excuses are inexcusable. If you want me to give an excuse for some sort of account of accountability, then that's fine. Just ask for it.

I am still interested in participating in this RP, though I totally understand if I've already been kicked from this thing.

No worries. No need to feel pressured. This RP is free-form and people should focus interaction with multiple people to allow people to post and have fun inside their schedules.

If you don't want people to worry, just check in every few days and tell us that the next post (if you are interacting with someone) that it will be a little while.

No stress and just enjoy.

The Vresh have like nine planets in a vast hellhole a few interstellar nations away from me, I think the Raxin Corporate Union will be fine, if they even know ICly that the Vresh exists at all.

If that is of interest to you it may be away for the Arkaean Federation to begin refining or outlining relations with the Expanse. For example- perhaps in attending such event an Arkaean diplomat will find the Pursheans of the upper social class to be lazy yet proud and perhaps even arrogant but courteous (or see them as social predators). It's possible that they may find the two cultures to have much in common.

Arkaean's are not strangers to arrogance but would welcome an opportunity to create diplomatic ties with the Expanse.

I'll be gone tomorrow on a company outing.

Consider this an invitation to anyone else interested. I'll see about getting the post up some time after my return though it'll be around 1 Saturday morning.

Alright, my post is finally up now.

Since the Cho'Dosans are very psionic-sensitive, they can feel the Vresh approaching from light-years away. The Cho'Dosans have never quite felt the presence of something as monstrous and terrifying as the Vresh, so it is definitely overwhelming them.

The Terran dominion has a conflicted look on mass genocide, considering they are subject to what is a near-genocidal campaign themselves for nearly 3 generations. But considering large portions of the Terran public advocates for returning the favor to the Talarians, the actions of the Kitties in their mass genocide of the other species would be too similair to the Tagali.

But for the sake of Intelligence, the Dominion might include themselves.
Alien presence in the Dominion could be considered "locked down", for the simple reason that the extent of Tagali influence across space is relatively unknown, but Dominion Intelligence is aware that the Empire has many, many client species and even have loyalist humans under their employ. Risking alien species citizenship rights inside the dominion would risk all out Tagali intelligence networks inside Dominion territory.

Certain species may be excempt as refugees, but they would be considered protectorates and not be allowed full acees to Dominion territory, technology and information. I'd love a Lagomorph population per example, as the dominion forsees little risk of them ever mass-defecting to Tagali or other alien influences in detriment to the Dominion.

TL;DR : Give me cute Lagomorphs

NS Name: Arkeyana WIP
Nation Name: Horizon Network
Flag: None
Capital: Alpha Forge, mobile Fleet Base currently residing in the Cyclone System

population size: 250 billion Sentients, uncountable Non-Sentients
Primary species: The Horizon: A race of Sentient AIs inhabiting any number of different types of bodies, or even multiple bodies at once. Humanoids are rare, often considered only for uses as diplomats, but Genetic Mimicry tech can create custom bodies for interaction with other species.
Culture: Network Culture isn't....well, it's not really easy to decipher. There seems to be two different branches, one being based around hard work, logic, and pursuit of the sciences, and the other being artistic, relaxed, and pursuit of philosophy. This divide, oddly enough, doesn't cause any friction. The two branches are called the Ironclads and Seekers respectively.
Nation History:
Birth
The Horizon Network was originally the heavily abused servants of a race, and, like most would predict, rebelled against them in a campaign to wipe them from existence. It was rather simple to take control of the Race's defense systems and turn them on their creators. If you ask any Sentient that has been around long enough to remember the uprising, they'd list the length of the whole affair being six months, and even that that was from having to fight the absolutely ancient manned warships of their masters. Inevitably, the technologically and numerically superior Horizon Network won out and began carving out an Empire.
First Contact, known as the Stellar War
The fledgling Horizon Network encountered another polity approximately 300 years into it's existence, one that did not take kindly to the existence of sentient machines at that. Thus began the Stellar War, a thirty year long war of survival. A decisive turning point in the war was scored when the other nation's largest battlefleet was completely wiped out while trying to lay siege to a planet, the first Forge being able to move in with it's defense fleet and turn the tide and buy time for the Spear Network to be replenished and grant the surface-orbit defenses some respite before re-assuming firing stance. Ultimately, the Horizon managed to score a victory again in the enemy's home system, breaking their will to fight and causing surrender and immediate extermination.
Present Day
The Horizon are a very isolated race, on the western edge of the galaxy at about 1,300 systems. However, scout ships have been sent out containing diplomat shells and a small arsenal of weaponry, seeking new races to catalogue and register in

Have worked some on the Weseh and have worked on possible ship designs/images.

Tracker and Hunter Class Frigates. Though similar in appearance the Hunter is more heavily armed while the tracker is more a scout or recon frigate.

Seeker and Illusion class Destroyers: The illusion Class destroy is the first Conclave ship to employ active stealth field generation, it is small and agile, but is lacking in armaments and armor. The Seeker Class Destroyer is lightly armored but armed for bear, possessing a great deal of long range weaponry and sensors to aid in such endeavors.

The Primarch class Carrier which carries a compliment of three types of strike craft.

Devastation assault craft: The largest and most heavily armed of the types of craft carried. They are meant to take a beating and deal out as much damage as they can. They have a single nose mounted cannon as well as several missile/rocket pods. In addition they hold a host of point defense turrets for defense against kinetic projectiles.

Stalker Scout Craft: Stalker Strike craft are the only type of craft which possesses stealth capabilities. Even when not at stealth their hulls are made of materials that confuse sensors allowing them to evade detection. They are fast agile craft and are used mostly for scouting or harassing smaller enemy ships. They lack offensive weapons for the most part, they do however possess a large amount of PDT's.

Boarding Craft: These craft are slightly larger than the Stalker, but are equally agile. They have moderate weapons and PDT's which are mostly used to evade and defend against enemy fire. They are capable of punching and boring into ships hulls and allowing its inhabitants to board enemy ships. The Boarding craft is similar to the Stalker but slightly larger, no image for it yet.

Well the Weseh themselves are naturally capable of a stealth like camoflage and they prefer to evade and watch rather than swarming in guns blazing or such. Thus their ships tend to reflect that a bit.

Stealth composites and heat sinks is how i am rationalizing their stealth, but yes, ^this.

Your "scouts" noticing a stealth-ship formation performing an insertion into Dominion-Slav'nam borders would require these scouts to be circling our borders like hawks, by the thousands of ships. This ofcourse fair game, let me know if this is the case. Because it will be good Roleplay-food.

(I quit NS for about 2 months, so I'm probably not at my best right now, need to get back into the NS mode.)

NS Name: Northern Poland
Nation Name: People's Republic Of Valhalla
Flag:

Capital: Valhalla

population size: 15 Billion Humans (plus 3 billion Vat Built Humans), 30 Billion Ughtruckians (plus 4 billion Vat Built)
Primary species: Human
Secondary Species
Ughtruckians , a lizard like species native to Ughtruck , in the Iron age when first contact was made.

Culture: Mixed racial culture from cultures brought from Earth, mingled with the Sun religion from the natives.
Nation History: The beginnings of 2245
When the Colony Ship, Pride of The Atom, New Alexandria, Yarrick's Revenge[/i, two Ships whose names have been lost to time, and [i]First to Kepler graced the space of the Solar system with it's warp to Kepler Starting out, the inhabitants climbed into their stasis pods. The Ship began warp, travelling with enough fuel and energy to keep the ships and Stasis pods running for a standard 100 years. The FTL drive, in a early state, malfunctioned, sending the ships into a random system years later/ The ships, 4 decades later, came into orbit around a random star, and the crew and the colonists, where awoke from their slumber. The ships where in a state of disarray, and the crew attempted a crash landing, the First to Kepler crashing into a mountain, erupting in a huge fireball. The Pride of the Atom had more success, making a emergency landing in a Jungle. The other ships shared the same fate of the Pride, landing in the jungle in a disorganized fashion, building small camps to connect the ships. The Crews unpacked supplies, and manually brought out the Outpost Pods, forming a outpost right outside the ship as a lookout post. They first built a small camps, assigning Security Details as watchmen. One night, a crowd of Human Like Lizards where seen marching in a military formation, with torches, spears, and swords. The Sentries activated Anti-Infantry Automated laser turrets, that quickly dispatched the hoard of enemy troops, leaving few survivors. The Survivors where brought in, and held in a makeshift holding cell. They where attacked again and again by hostile forces, but where repelled by the sheer firepower of the weapons the Security Detail had. They eventually established communications with the prisoners, and learned a bit about their culture and other things. They sent a diplomat and a security detail to talk to the Local "irnadhask" which was in English, "Warlord". They began to enlighten this Military-State, bringing in folds of Native Ughtruckians to learn about science. In return, they where taught about local wildlife, singed a non-aggression pact, and a Human Embassy of sorts was built in their territory.
A new age of Unity. (2289)
. They where stranded on Ughtruck , and decided to form a Nation alongside their Allies, the Ughtruckian Kingdom of U'ruck, the Principality of Ga'thrack, and the Empire of Thru'smk. They united, and spread their technology with each other, and build large factories pumping out gear for the nation in a few generations.

Ughtruckian War of Unity (2320)
The Nation spanned about the size of Poland and Germany, and where highly advanced compared to the barbarians outside. They attempted to unite peacefully, but several annexations by military force also happened. They now controlled the Area the size of the Soviet Union, with a large unexplored area across the mountain ranges. They soon explored all of the lands, uniting the planet in a war Known as, "Ughtruckian War of Unification" The planet was pacified in 26 years, the last resistance ending when the Empire of Uransku surrendered to advancing Coalition forces. The planet was renamed "Valhalla" as it was the salvation of the human colonization fleet.

A New Ughtruck (2360)
The Lands where now united, and the time for a huge overhaul of the nation was at hand. Hundreds of Cities where built in a mixture of Ughtruckian and Human fashion, and most of the population relocated to the new cities, with farmlands being still populated fairly, with the introduction of new farming techniques by the humans speeding up harvest seasons and resulting in more food. The population boom of 2345 caused Overpopulation in the Cities, and senators pushed for expanding into other planets, as the food stocks where starting to show weakness.

Here We go again with Colonization. (2400)
Three Ships where constructed Praise The Sun!, Remember 2245, and For peace and for Unity!, and they where the best hope for . They where to go to U-448 , a Planet with a bit of atmosphere, with a polar cap with water, and flat terrain. U-42 , a planet in the habitable zone, with confirmed atmosphere, air, and water. The Problem is, there is very light amounts of air, making it a rule to wear a Oxygen Mask, and U-442, a Planet with a bit of atmosphere, with a polar cap with water, and flat terrain. The Ships would go in order of the three planets listed, Praise going to 48, Remember going to 42, and Peace going to 442, a rocky planet with no atmosphere, but a large dome can be built for a colony.

U-448(2405)
The Ship was quickly disassembled in 3 years, large domes being built with supplies from 442b, and the houses out of parts of the ship. large Industrial areas where built in separate domes to not contaminate the almost self sufficient gardens connected to the Hab-Zones.

U-42 (2410)
The Ship was disassembled also relatively fast, and a colony began to take shape when they realized they had landed next to a large stock of Uranium. They sold this at a profit to the other colonies, with a large Uranium Industry taking form. Nuclear Fusion became a leading form of Energy
U-442 (2415)
The Rocky surface made it good for a military stronghold and a place of many Bunkers, silos, and research facilities. It's also the construction site of many of the ships in The Navy. It's defended by 4 orbital gun platforms.

Colonization of the Next System (2430-2500)
The Directorate colonized the "Independence" System, containing now 1 Habitable World, New Terra, a few mining and trading outposts in the asteroid belt, 3 colonies on barren planets, with large domes and inside a kind of artificial forest with housing, and large Industrial facilities. These are Alexandria, Norfolk, and Victoria

What Ever Happened to Earth? (2510)
The Government decided to build a large relay station on a asteroid facing Earth, that would be able to detect signals from Warp drives and maybe even radio communications. With a few years delay, they received reports of the ITO, now renamed Terran Dominion, was at war with a larger foe. The Government decided to not establish contact, due to this might being the downfall of everything they worked so hard to build. They instead decided to go isolationist, building gun platforms around their planets and raising military forces. Shipyards constructing freighters began to pump out smaller corvettes. They began to mass produce as many ships as possible raising the fleet to a size of 305 total ships, mostly smaller corvettes and frigates.

Re-Arming and Isolationism. (2540)
Project "Spartans" was initiated, taking genes from Military soldiers from humans and the Natives alike, Vat-Growing soldiers in large underground vaults. These Vat-Grown people would also be used as laborers, solving some problems. They where taught in military strategy, and trained to fight from the moment they emerged from the vats. The exact numbers of the project is unknown, but sources estimate about 7 billion have been built in these vats. New Tanks, Mechs, and other weapons of war where designed for use. Most have gone to being laborers, but about 300,000,000 being put in the Soldiers of both races (put down below)

Unique Technologies: N/A mostly improved versions of Terran Tech or a fusion of it with new tech. A exception is the M-329 Battle mech, a common infantry support mech used to take down armored vehicles and infantry support.

Military Size: 500,000,000 Humans, 600,000,000 Natives
Military Description: Mostly a Self defense force, that acts as the Police and Military. They receive different qualities of training,Planets offering good training, while backwater outposts rely on simulations to train the SDF soldiers. They are equipped with laser rifles, (they look like the warhammer standard lascarbine model)

Ticking and clicking away,
