Post Match interview with Baranillian manager Rodrik Bronsun
Image
In an aftermatch between Rodrik Bronsun and the Baranillian National Television Channel, the Baranillian national manager had this to say:

"Despite the result, me and the outstanding majority of Baranillians were overjoyed when Are Schau scored our first ever goal as a national team in our first ever game as a national team, allowing us to go home with a smile upon our faces, especially considering it was our first game, even the result was acceptable in my eyes to build upon, especially since the match was against the much better established Ravenweather.

All in all, this result allowed me to see what areas we played well in, and what we needed to work hard in training on prior to the upcoming away game against Kencana."

__________

2-1 win of friendly games against Baranil National Team, head coach Boddorf deployed only local -league players including Ian Catto as GK, B. Furnott, W. Middlebrook, R. Eagleswick and B. Royalmann in defense position, R. Riflemaker, I. Foermann, and R. Blairford in midfield and using Defense Corps Londres, Elmont Emperor FC Kryon Kinderfrost and Howard Fillerkost (Seposen Athletic FC) in front.

Baranil lead from a good heading by Are Schau in the first half and The Raven make it draw after Leo Cornpool Londres score in 71' and winning goal from Kryon Kinderfrost in 89 minutes. Ravenweather held a lot of balls and attacked especially at The Raven trio Riflemaker-Foermann-Blairford. But what we see in this match is that Blairford and Riflemaker rely heavily on Iwan Foermann to start an attack.

At the attacker Ravenweather's side, we see that it is quite difficult to finish a product. Despite many movements and receiving a key pass from their colleagues, it is clear they are uncomfortable with defensive Baranil's plans that practice physical contact and zonal marking.

Malay World Cup Final Preview
Zeniyadh v Pauh Janggi

Fort Raleigh, Khantari - The 2nd Malay World Cup has been held since 5 October and finally will end soon. A history will be made because a new name will be join the tournament champions list. Two best team in the tournament Zeniyadh and Pauh Janggi will play against each others to determine the tournament champions. The match will take place in Grefberg National Stadium, Khantari and become one of the most awaited matches. Both team has their own quality, Zeniyadh known as ambitious team who seeking for tournament revenge while Pauh Janggi mentioned as the biggest surprise in the tournament history after eliminating stronger team in the group stage. Both Zeniyadh and Pauh Janggi were reach the semifinal as group runner-up. Zeniyadh eliminating the host Khantari via the penalty shootout after playing 2-2 with them. Pauh Janggi also guarantee their final spot via penalty shootout against group A winner Wuriya.

Zeniyadh : The Zenidhian Mentality
Zeniyadh is one of three experienced teams in the Malay World Cup alongside with Steelbaron and Khantari. Their best achievement in this tournament is reach the semifinal in the first MWC held in Zeniyadh. Until this day, Zeniyadh were the only undefeated team in the 2nd MWC. The Leopard is led by some senior players such as Askerispor captain Mehdi Ishaq, Mahkamasaray predator Omer Zayed, and strong defender Abdulkadir Bouazza. They were already predicted to reach the semi-final by some experts but not favored to pass Khantari. The team manager Canan Tosun said that it's all about believe and mentality. Zeniyadh success-key is the team chemistry, mentality, and Leadership. The team chemistry already build since some players play in the same clubs and also because the team already build long before the tournament held. While the Mentality is mostly based on their previous fail in the first ever MWC which makes them stronger. And the good leadership come from the senior players especially the team captain Mehdi Ishaq. Their deadly striker Sultan Gungor also become a key-player for the team, he already scored four goals for the team. If they able to won the MWC final they will follow their neighbor success in previous MWC, and keep the title went to the eastern malayan.

Pauh Janggi : Hope of the Pauhan
Nobody expect Pauh Janggi will earn success campaign in the 2nd Malay World Cup. A month before the tournament held the western part of the country slammed by a super typhoon Revana which kills hundreds citizen. The pauhan not even expected to participate in the tournament. But they were able to tell the world who are they. Pauh Janggi finish above strong team such as Steelbaron and Greythrone, and reach the semifinal as group runner-up. It's all believed because of the genius Firdaus Wan Yahya, Pauh Janggi head coach. He always show a brilliant tactic, one of the most notable is his strategy to won the last group stage match against Steelbaron. The experts believe that Steelbaron going to win this match and book their spot in semi-final, but Pauh Janggi make a surprise by defeat them 2-0. The captain Daeng Senopati Daeng Marwilis is one of the important figure in the team, he motivate his teammate to bring the best. Osman Khaidir and Ahmed Bragas already scored combined 7 goals for Pauh Janggi and become important part of the team. The Tempest is the smallest nation ever to reach the MWC final and there's still a hope for them to become the smallest nations ever to win it.

Good is not good enough...

Khantari fans disappointed, more of all to their player's, they aimed to be crowned as champion of the 2nd edition of MWC after not able to in the first edition. But they failed to live up and get beaten by an old adversary in the penalty shootout. Now they only will face Wuriya for Third Place Play-Off. Heartbreaking and down but they must play hard for at least win the third place.

Head coach Reed has hint out that this was his last game as coach, maybe he will resign after 2nd MWC. It is also good to be mention that 85% of this national team has reached their maximum age as a footballer, maybe new and the younger player must be inducted as the main team to replacing them.

As overall, they played good in this tournament but good is not good enough...

Zeniyadh Seal Malay World Cup Triumph

Fort Raleigh, Khantari - For the first time in the history the Zeniyadh national team won the Malay World Cup after they achieve convincing 3-0 victory over the rival Pauh Janggi in the MWC final held in Grefberg National Stadium, Khantari. The Leopard won this tournament without any single defeat, achieving 4 victories and forced to play two draw matches. This success also make sure the MWC trophy belongs to the Eastern Malayan for the second time after Sumatra Timur won it in the previous edition. For the Pauhan, it's certainly hurt. But they're also proud because nobody expect that they're going to reach the final in this tournament. The final last night broadcast in across the malay countries and took attention of millions malayan people. The people of Zeniyadh down to the street in almost all cities to celebrate their victory in the final.

The match scheduled at 8pm Khantari local time, preceded by the amazing tournament closing ceremony featuring top malay artist. Zeniyadh took the first half kickoff. They're dominate the game immediately, the Tempest forced to play a defensive tactic because Zeniyadh launch too many attack. In the fifth minutes Zeniyadh almost scored the opening goal but Omer Zayed shot brilliantly blocked by Ismail Othmaniah. The strong coordination between Daeng Senopati and Mokhtar Dahari frustrated Zeniyadh attackers who cannot freely get inside the box. In the 29th minutes The Leopard finally take the lead, Ferhat Menderes receive a nice assist from Mehdi Ishaq and powerfully send the ball into the net. Ismail Othmaniah jump to save his goal but he can't. The stadiump erupt as fan celebrate the goal, the situation went crazy when Zeniyadh state leader Emir Fateh Fuaddi who attend the match in VVVIP stand performing three-finger salute over the crowd. The supporters begin to follow their lovely leader and chanting the national slogan. The score didn't change until half time.

Pauh Janggi play more attacking style in the second half, but Ahmed Bragas who scored a hattrick in the semifinal didn't get support from his teammate and always stopped by zeniyadh defender. Not long for zeniyadh to double their lead, in the 55th minutes Sultan Gungor sprint from the midfield and pass few pauhan players to one on one situation with Ismail Othmaniah. He shot the ball and it go through between Othmaniah's leg and went to the goal. Sultan Gungor cannot hide his happiness and run to the north stand and celebrate his sixth goal in this tournament by kissing the zeniyadh emblem on his shirt. Pauh Janggi now 0-2 down and Firdaus Wan Yahya call his boys to all-out-attack. The tactical change not affecting the game much, the Tempest unable to made a serious attack since they failed to control the midfield area. The only best chance earned when their captain Daeng Senopati send the ball from the left side to the penalty area and Osman Khaidir who receive it shot the ball to the goal, but Rafeq Avci who just five meter away from his position able to stop it. Zeniyadh finally secure their victory after Abdulkadir Bouazza assist converted into a goal by Mehdi Ishaq in 86th minutes. He shot the ball into the top left corner which unreachable for Pauhan goalkeeper. There's no special celebration from Mehdi Ishaq, he just send a thumbs up to the VVVIP stand where the Zeniyadh leader watch the match. The humiliate cannot accepted by the Pauhan goalkeeper who hide his face to the ground, he cannot lying himself and we're know he's crying after conceded by three goals. The captain Daeng Senopati cannot do anything else to save his team with only four minutes left, the camera caught him looked up at the sky and shake his head while his mouth said "i want to sleep and forget this day". The match continued but there's certainly no more chance for Pauh Janggi to deny their defeat. Finally the referee Eric Mcfrist from Greythrone blow the final whistle and end the match.

Zeniyadh players and official in the bench run to the field to celebrate their Malay World Cup title. The players lift up their coach Canan Tosun who successfully led them to the victory. The Raven achieve the second winning after crushing Malayajaya 3-0 in CMFA Friendly Match at Jeswald Memorial Stadium, Delton. In this game, Head Coach Boddorf deployed most of his international-based players including defender Rickie Huffaker, Henry Costerlaing, Rafael von Linkhausen as captain and goalkeeper Tim Londres. Playing in front of home supporter almost giving a tonic to Ravenweather and not waiting any longer when striker Kryon Kinderfrost scores a beautiful goal in 12'. two more goals arrive in 41' and 43' when The Raven captain, von Linkhausen scored in both and register a second wining for his team.

Ravenweather control this game with 63% possession and 11 attempts with 3 shots on goal and Malayajaya have 15 attempts but only one shot on goal. Malayajaya also gets four yellow cards in this game after they register 20 fouls. The Raven did not only dominate the match but they are very effective. They hit the opponent at the beginning of the game. Malayajaya teams are rather direct and do not control their tempo properly. There is the issue of finishing. To be recognized, Malayajaya created enough opportunities to win any points or win in the game. But they were blunt in front of goal, and credit also to the efficiency of the Ravenweather keeper.
