Description
Located at the Northern Edge of the Continent exists the expansive city of Yharnam. Once known for either its bustling port or its high quality stone quarries, the city has now rose to prominence for its creation of 'Blood Ministration'. A ritual done by the Secretive Healing Church, visitors from across the Continent venture to take advantage of its miraculous properties. Able to cure any disease or enhance any body, blood ministration has ushered in the Healing Church's meteoric rise; led by the secretive First Vicar Laurence, the traditional powers of Yharnam are being usurped by this massive religious following. As Cathedrals and Monuments are erected all across the city, many are still skeptical of Blood Healing and the Church. From the lowly citizen to the powerful Aristocrat, the speed as to which the Church has revolutionized Yharnam has left many questioning what the real purpose of Blood Worship is. Even worse, the secretive Workshop operates in the shadows, leaving only carnage in their wake; and hellish tales of cursed men and monstrous transformations have seemed to grow in frequency and intensity.

As the Clergy grows, the Scholars reads, the Gentry plots, and the Masses watch, a recent wave of odd disappearances has captured the imagination of the metropolis. Unlike the bloody scenes left by the Illusive Workshop, these victims disappear without a trace, no evidence to follow. Constables have been left befuddled and the Church is even more tight lipped, though all victims had some relationship with the inner machinations of the Institution. All of them were young women, with a growing suspicion that each of them were pregnant. No lead has bared any fruit, with the few witnesses describing individuals covered in red robes. The latest victim, an heiress to a vast Trading Company, has proven to be the most divisive between the City Elite and the Church. With the situation rapidly declining, it is up to a few brave men and women to combat this terror. It is in this environment you are hired, a quiet benefactor has hired many individuals from various backgrounds to address this issue. Each individual has their own goal, beliefs, and tool set, little regard has been taken to ensure that they work well together. Despite this, this Party much move quickly. Ancient Cults and Eldritch Horrors operate within the shadows, as the darkness seems poised to engulf Yharnam.

Welcome to Bloodborne: The Old Hunters! A Role Playing Experience allowing each player to Hunt Eldritch Horrors, Discover Ancient Conspiracies, and Become Indoctrinated to serve the Great Ones. As the title implies, this takes place within the Bloodborne Universe; the physics, equipment and factions are all based on the lore created by FromSoftware. I believe this is the First of its Kind for the Site, although I would like to thank the G-Tech Corporation for providing the idea with his The Tyranny of the Night RP. Welcome to Fallout: The Age of Strife.

This is a Fallout Nation RP set in the North American Continent and parts of the Caribbean, starting in the year 2293. While heavily based on, this is not a orthodox retelling of the Fallout Lore. Our Point of Divergence is 2077, when the bombs are dropped and the world is destroyed. From there, nothing is set in stone and is up to all of us. Players, when creating their nations, can choose to use Fallout Lore or come up with entirely new inventions for their nation and its lore. My goal isn't to have people follow a strict idea of Fallout, but instead allow them to build their Fallout world as they want it. If you want a Brotherhood of Steel or a Enclave, your entirely allowed to create one (As long as it fits our rules and regulations down bellow). Description
A group has been planning this October camping trip for some time and are now at the site in the dark hours of the day. The RP takes place near the fictional town of Woodview with everyone having traveled by truck (one belonging to my character) to this site. As they sit around the fire at night the traditional practice of scary stories around the fire comes into play with each character sharing a story. After all have told their story we the players will decide on the IC what should happen next.

Some simple differences between the world of the characters and our own are listed on the OOC. Nothing too big- Porto Rico is the 51st state (as per the 2017 referendum) and instead of the United Nations their world as the United League of Nations (for the same reason NS has the WA). Other smaller changes are noted in the OOC but over all it's nothing too alien for us. Just enough to establish that while the year is 2018 the world isn't our own with inspiration from Super 8, Archie's Weird Mysteries, Life is Strange, Stranger Things, Scooby-Doo, and some classic 90s productions. As noted, not everyone nor everything in Woodview is as or whom they seem to be. The RP as it's presently presented is meant to be a 'springboard' for expanding and propagating the setting as it goes public and takes on a new life outside the now largely inactive RP group. During that time reports of a famous battle came about, and supposedly the end of the world was delayed for ten years. Its now 1962, and it has only been a month since the world has truly begun to end, and half the human population has died from the constantly resurrecting dead, eldritch abominations, and more. You are now a refugee stuck in Oklahoma City, and soon it too will be overrun, but there is hope in escaping the place for somewhere better.

Its called Outpost-12, and its part of a post-apocalyptic network of after the end self-sufficient communities intent on repopulating the globe well after this crisis is over. However, the current reality is that the city is going to fall, and occultic factions will divide it up between them in pursuit of their goals, and conflicts. A simple escape plan, unfortunately, won't be so easy as everything from Mormon vampires to the undead will block your path. You must haggle, and work your way across the city in order to buy your way out or perhaps you seek to stay, and make something of yourself. You could always be the long-awaited harbinger of doom or you just might do some good before the world ends.

Description
You are one of the patients of Aurora Grove Psychiatric Institution, a mental health facility located on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado. You don't know how long you've been here. You may not even remember who brought you in the first place. But you are here for help. Or at least, so they say.

In reality, however, you have abilities beyond what is normal. You think these abilities are beyond what is normal. What's "normal" isn't always clear. The medicine you take regularly is supposed to help with that.

Here at Aurora Grove, you regularly take part in group therapy and individual therapy from trained psychiatrists. Those who do well in the therapy get rewarded by trips outdoors in the sunshine. Those who don't do well... well, let's just say that the doctors and nurses always strive for their patients to advance in their treatment.

Yet, there are some times when you have disturbing memories. Memories of another life, memories that are repressed but sometimes bubble to the surface. Memories of heroism. Self-sacrifice for the greater good. Battles. Sometimes tragic losses. It's all very unclear, and the doctors assure you these are just imaginary, and in due time you won't be troubled by these false memories. But they seem so real. As if they truly happened.

There are also memories of others. Mostly, other former patients. You were sure you remembered a certain other person in your therapy session. What was it, weeks ago? You've kind of lost track of time here. But even though you think you remember that person, now that person is gone. And the doctors are calmly reassuring you that it was all imaginary. That person wasn't real, as the psychiatrist peacefully explains. It's part of your condition that you only think that. But you're getting better. You're making daily progress. That's what the doctors say.

You can only hope they're right. Because, why would they lie to you?

Hey guys! This is Talchyon. Thanks for checking out my RP. Hope you like it and want to join.

Ok, so this is a meta-story about super-powered people. But it's not your typical superhero story. Most superhero stories are about the good guys vs. the bad guys. The bad guys are doing something evil, and the good guys have to stop them. Whether it's a team or an individual, that's generally what it comes down to. Powers blast, and you get some pretty awesome fight scenes.

Delirium is going to be different.

First, the lines are really thin between who is the good guy and who is the bad guy. That's because your character probably knows only snippets of his or her backstory, with occasional flashbacks of their lives before coming to Aurora Grove.

Second, the powers your character has are muted. Right now the medication you are taking is hindering powers. They can still be used. But not to their fullest extent. A person who is super strong will still retain some of their strength - but maybe 10% at most. A fire generator can still make flames, but can't set himself on fire, and may only be able to make a flame the size of three cigarette lighters together. That's how things begin here, anyway.

Third, due to the medication and other treatments your character has been taking, conscious use of powers is out of control. That means, there can and will be times when your character's subconscious kicks in, operates the power, without your character realizing it. Or wanting it. It may happen when your character is asleep, or outside, or eating lunch. There will be times, however, when your character can consciously use his or her powers. I'll leave that up to you the player to decide how often and when.

Fourth, Delirium is more of a mystery RP than a superhero combat RP. What is this place? What's going on behind the scenes? Why are your characters here? And more importantly... can your character survive and get real help when everyone and everything is messing with your character's mind?

Fifth, That said, I do expect some fights to occur. What would a superhero RP be without them? But, consider that whenever fights happen (and they will), powers will be at about 10-15% of what your character would normally have. Also, the staff of Aurora Grove has a strict discipline policy for patients who get out of line. Just be warned.

Finally, You might consider powers for your characters that are not all combat oriented. Something tells me that in this RP, some of the standard powers you might normally see in a meta RP may not be as valuable. Be creative. Think outside the box. Certain powers may help you figure out the mystery better than others.

Description
Sup guys, puttin’ up a little sandboxy fantasy RP for ya. Hopefully it lasts longer than a month and there’s an actual plot so things don’t get too stagnant. Of course, not everything is completely fleshed out yet since I wanna get everybody involved in the creative process but I got a pretty nice skeleton. Heavily inspired by D&D. And no, not everybody needs to be a spellcaster although the lore is pretty mage-centric.

Isthras: an inhospitable, mountainous and windswept land covered by darkness and deserts. Not the jewel of the Hadrian continent at all, that’s for sure. Crops rarely grow here, and the weather patterns are strange. Hardly anybody’s idea of paradise, but surprisingly a large number of people and races call it home. Once a thriving land, it has been brought under darkness by the first Great Rebellion.

It had originally been a happy and prosperous land ruled by the descendants of Ashra, the son of the human warrior Bael-Ashra and the moon-Goddess Ismaei...due to this divine parentage, it was believed that his line was holy and that they were chosen by the gods to rule. He had gained renown as an adventurer, and when he saved the country from falling prey into the hands of an evil warlock, he was made king. Ashra was a good ruler, and many of his descendants would continue to be good rulers for many more decades, even a couple of centuries. Until there was one descendant, the newly crowned King Aswanda. A fine warrior with renown in battle, he was expected to be a strong and good ruler. But having his first taste of power, he had begun to crave more and so he had made a dark pact with the god Audrak, the god of chaos, darkness and destruction that he would give a hundred sacrifices a year if he were to be made a god-king. He grew too powerful and terrorized the lands, he had to be stopped but nobody in the world knew how to do it.

The land set out a cry for help across the entire continent, until twelve brave adventurers answered the call. Each was of a different ability and skill, and three were from the country itself, but they were all noble in action if not entirely pure in thought (and what human truly is?). After a bloody conflict which raged for ten years, the adventurers got the goddess who started the bloodline on their side and with her help, defeated the evil king and his master. The adventurers were rewarded for their service by being known as heroes and were given rule of Isthras by unanimous vote. It was agreed that they would all be each one from the twelve main castes so that each would get an equal representation, and they were known as the Council of the Twelve.
Elected by the people every twelve years, Isthras flourished under its new democracy. However, while peace and prosperity was being celebrated, the threat wasn’t quite deaded yet.

Unbeknownst to all but the ones who helped summon him, Aswanda’s pact with Audrak involved immortality, which he would preserve by transferring his soul into the bodies of others or into a manufactured body whenever a body was destroyed. He bid his time for years, until he could eventually return to an earthly form. And although he had accomplished this, he’s not quite finished...the body he’s in is sturdy enough but lacks the power to accomplish his goals at all. So he bides his time, hoping to perhaps possess one of the Twelve or complete a ritual, to once again summon his dark master and rule the world once more.

But unfortunately, he needs the Grimoire of Grimdark to do it...a powerful tome of dark magic under possession of the Grimdark family: a powerful family of wizards and warlocks that specialized in dark magic. Once a house renowned for producing evil, dark wizards, they had turned from Audrak almost two centuries ago and now to clean up the reputation of their house, they had aided in the great battle. They still have a long way to go, but they have a much better reputation than what they once had. The leader of the house, Phineas Grimdark had scattered the pages of the book to the far winds, in corners where hopefully they’d never be found.

Aswanda is on the hunt to put the tome back together again, and especially since the Night of the Everdark is approaching...an event that happens every thousand years where for one night, neither stars nor moon nor a speck of light can be seen anywhere in the sky and the world is nearly pitch black. It’s said to be the time where the world between the living and the dead is thinnest, and where extremely potent magicks can be worked. He plans to summon Audrak on that night, if he puts the tome together before then, the world could very well be doomed.

The Twelve have decided to put out a call, while they protected their country, they would gather a group of adventurers to put the tome together before the dark king got to it, and bring it back to them so that it could be destroyed. Rulers all over Hadrian are ever-vigilant, most don’t even trust family or friends anymore in fears that they may be possessed. You are one of these adventurers (or not, but you’ll come into play somehow). Are you trying to save the world from Audrak’s influence? Perhaps help summon him? Take over the world for yourself? Or sitting this all out, the choice is entirely up to you. But the call is being sent out, and somebody has to answer. Will it be you?

Description
This is an RP is about Demon Hunters, or Hunters as they are more colloquially referred to, as they try and make their names known in the world of Hunting. The idea for this RP came to me through a series of places, but most notably my interest in much of the things that are important to the Demon Hunter subculture in this world. That is to say, punk rock, rap music, fast cars, Japanese mythology and the artwork of Wizzadaking and Mau Lencinas (also known as 199Hates.) Its a pretty eclectic selection of interests, but that's kind of the idea. The world that our characters inhabit is supposed to be one that is surreal and strange. Its supposed to be the kind of thing where you could be walking down the street, and see a group of young people standing on the corner flipping through their phones and swapping stories. At first glance, you think nothing of it. Just kids doing what they do. But on second glance, there is something off. There is blood on one guys Adidas sweatshirt. Another has a two swords in his belt like a samurai, the sheath decked out in stickers like a skateboard. And the third has two demonic heads, still dripping blood onto the concrete slung over their shoulder. That's the sort of world we are working in, one where the average sights of the city, like neon lights, honking horns, and wannabe rappers meets ancient religious demons, who haunt the sewers and abandoned buildings, trying to lure mortals to their deaths. Its the kind of world where you wander into the local 7/11, but behind the counter is a Zashiki-warashi, the Japanese house spirits. Or the man who sells your a new car is seen at the bar later that night sipping on a glass of synthetic blood, his vampire fangs glinting in the late night lighting. And of course, that brings us back to you. Not all of the inhabitants of this world are peaceful, both mortal and spirit. Some are dangerous, and so you must hunt them. After all, the world needs bad people. They keep the worse people at bay.
