We all know the current government labels leave much to be desired for those of us who love detail.

For Justosia, Constitutional Monarchy comes closest to Monarchist Republic (much more accurate). Our King has most the same powers, authority, etc as an American president + royal prestige of course. The Senate Nationale's power is also firmly vested. Constitutionally obligated to report to the Senate twice yearly. The Senate only, makes law.

The King is also the Senate tie breaker. Signs laws. Can enact Royal Edicts (Executive Orders).

Tchud is also a monarchical republic.

The Emperor holds the titles of both Emperor of Tchud (a hereditary, primarily religious position as the head of the Temple of Tchud, as well as the constitutionally limited head of state) and President of the Republic (an officially elected but de facto hereditary, secular position at the head of government) meaning that he has both secular and religious power over the nation.

Below him is the Senate, a relatively weak institution that serves to represent the interests of the Tribes of the Tchudi and of the Whites. There are 50 representatives in the Senate - 2 for each of the 20 Tchudi tribes, 2 for the Whites, and 8 for the Temple. The Senate has the power to approve or amend the Emperor's budget, as well as to approve or amend his laws. It doesn't have the power to make its own budget or legislation, and its amendments may be rejected by the Emperor if he so wishes.

[The Atlantean Islands]

The nation is a constitutional monarchy.

The Queen has the powers of a president of a republic, although the Lord Regent, who is appointed by the Queen from a pool of candidates who, in turn, are chosen technocratically rather than democratically, is there to advise the Queen and keep the queen's powers in check, with the Queen having to have her actions approved by the Lord Regent.

The Prime Minister functions in the same manner as, say, the British or the Japanese PM.

The Draosian Ascendancy is a Representative Monarchy where all the constituent planets 12 in total across 12 solar systems systems elect Councillors to the Royal court on the capital (in the Draos system) to represent their interests to the High Chancellor who will then decide which is the most important.

We are an absolute monarchy, but due to the size of our country, the Emperor delegates power on issues he personally doesn't have time to handle. The Emperor reigns from the Imperial Palace in San Francisco, CA.

Most power on the Imperial level is delegated to the Imperial Council, which consists of Ministers handpicked by the Emperor to run the Imperial Ministries. An Imperial Minister has near-absolute power over their area of governance unless overruled by the Emperor, but is completely powerless outside of it. (For example, the Minister of Agriculture has complete power over agricultural policy, but can't create law not relating to agriculture.) Each Imperial Ministry is headquartered in a different major city.

The Imperial Senate consists of elected officials who advise the Emperor and resolve disputes between Imperial Ministries, but holds little power to actually make laws. Each State sends two Imperial Senators, but the votes of each Senator are weighted by their State's population. The Imperial Senate meets in Oakland, CA.

Each State has its own government to handle local affairs, and the vast majority of State governments are democratically elected. The balance of powers between the Governor and the State Legislature varies from state to state, with some states having an all powerful legislature, a near-dictatorial Governor, or anything in between. The State governments are required to rule from their State's largest city.

Silver Commonwealth is a totalitarian republic (Or rather a collection of decentralized republics), which elects its President-Governors only after they die, or are kicked out of the office, and elections are only for party members, and common citizens don't have a big say in picking the leaders.

Gandoor is a unitary parliamentary republic led by a Prime Minister who is both the head of government and the head of state.

The Prime Minister is determined by whichever party gains the majority of seats in the Forum following National Elections, which occur every six years. Per Gandoorese law, a party may 'nominate' any party member for the office of Prime Minister so long as they are a Member of the Forum at the time of the election and, per tradition, it is typically the party leader. Regardless of whoever the party nominates for the office of Prime Minister, they are required to resign from their seat in the Forum upon taking office. The Prime Minister may only serve for a maximum of two six-year terms. They are also the Commander-in-Chief of the National Military of the Democratic Republic of Gandoor.

The Forum is the legislature of Gandoor, it is a unicameral legislature with 1000 seats, 125 for each administrative division. The Forum is responsible for the creation of laws (although laws must formally be signed by the Prime Minister in order to pass into law, the Forum can vote to sign it in lieu of the PM if they refuse to pass a law) and the approval of any declarations of war proposed by the Prime Minister. The Forum can also call for a motion of no-confidence every three months. If the motion passes (which requires a simple majority of 501 votes), then the Prime Minister is required to immediately resign from office and the current Head of the Forum (The Head of the Forum is not officially a Member of the Forum but is responsible for taking roll, overseeing debates and votes, maintaining proper parliamentary conduct [they can order a Member to leave the premises for conduct unbecoming a politician for the rest of that day's meeting or suspend them for up to one month from all Forum procedures], and can serve as a tiebreaker vote if necessary] becomes the new Prime Minister and finishes the term. (Much like in the United States, if the current term was less than halfway finished, then that counts as their first term and they can only serve for one more term, but if the term was more than halfway finished, then they can serve for two additional full terms)

In addition to their duties regarding the creation of legislation and the appointment (and potential removal) of the Prime Minister, the Forum also recommends judges to be appointed to the High Court by the Prime Minister. These recommendations are not considered binding and the Prime Minster may choose to appoint someone else, but it is considered proper for them to appoint who the Forum recommends. (Judges on the High Court can serve for 15 year terms before needing to be reappointed with no limit for how many times they can be reappointed)

As a unitary state, any powers that the yons hold is limited to the powers and authority that the Forum has delegated to them. Yons have limited authority to create their own laws and may only create laws that pertain to subjects delegated to them. Some of the subjects that have been delegated to the yons include: law enforcement (there is technically only one police force in Gandoor but the yon divisions operate independently while still being accountable to the national minimum standards of police conduct and behaviour), education (partially, they must meet the national minimum educational requirements and standards but may set their own standards beyond the national requirement), agricultural policies, hunting law, construction and housing (the central government is responsible for public housing, however), and notary law.

The Gandoor City Capital District, who have no representation in the Forum, has many of the same authorities and powers delegated to them as the yons, but lacks a House and a Governor. The Capital District is instead led by the Mayor of Gandoor City and the City Council of Gandoor City, who have authority over the other towns located within the Capital District as well.

[Avinaa]

Avinaa is a semi-presidential parliamentary republic under a federal system of government. The president is elected by the people every four years and appoints a member of the Federal National Assembly that can win confidence in the House of Representatives as prime minister who then (with his/her approval) appoints a cabinet. The National Assembly, made up of the House and Senate serve as the nation's legislators who are elected every fours years in the middle of a president's term. When the president and prime minister are of opposing parties or coalitions cohabitation, which happens often, begins.

The country is divided into 40 states all of which must have a republican form of government. Three different forms of government currently are used by the States. The first is a parliamentary system where the state legislature elects a premier and a ceremonial governor this is used by 29 states. The second system, used by 10 states is a gubernatorial democracy where the people elect an empowered governor is the chief executive and is elected independently from the legislature. The third system is used by one state, Valentina. In this system the state legislature elects a premier, but the federal president appoints, by recommendation from the premier a "special representative" to act as the ceremonial head of the state. This is a hold over from the Valentina's long history as a colony of Avinaa and political leaders simply haven't changed the state's constitution.

[Vallermoore]

Vallermoore was once run by an autocratic line of Queens, but after one Queen went insane centuries ago and then the one afterwards let chaos break out, it became a democracy. The ruler is the President of the Central Committee, the equvilent of a Prime Minister, who is the leader of the largest political party in the Parliament. Below him is the Central Committee which has the important ministers in it, and below that is the Council with the less important ministers.

[Lanzio]

There are two-hundred constituencies in Lanzio, each of which elects one Representative to the Assembly. General elections take place every three years. Due to the requirement that a Representative must receive a majority in order to be elected, a typical constituency will have two rounds of voting a week apart. The first round has all candidates who wish to stand; candidates must pay a ballot access fee of $1,000, which they receive back if they win at least 5% of the vote. After this round of voting, the top two candidates will go on to compete directly against one another in the second round. Most constituencies will have a second round election, although in some constituencies a candidate may win a majority in the first round, foregoing the need for a second round altogether. Once all two-hundred candidates are elected a government may be formed.

Typically the government is formed by the party with the largest number of seats, as our electoral system usually produces majority governments. The government is made up of the Prime Minister (usually the leader of the largest party in the Assembly) and their cabinet - typically Representatives (although by law they can include any citizen in their cabinet) who the Prime Minister is willing to reward with a position. Other Representatives of the governing party who are not members of the government are known as "Backbench Representatives" while the largest opposing party is known as the "Official Opposition"; The Opposition select their own "Shadow Government" whose job it is to "shadow" the government and essentially work to ensure that they provide a credible alternative government. Due to the lack of many limitations on its power a government with a strong majority (typically 20%) may sometimes be known as a "dictatorship" - for example the "Cansted Dictatorship", when Prime Minister Wellem Cansted's Labour Party won an unprecedented 142 seats in the 1914 general election.

The only nationally-elected office is that of the President. S/he is a mostly ceremonial role, although they hold a limited veto power which may sometimes limit the power of the government; however they are unable to veto a bill if it passes the Assembly for a second time. The Presidency is usually reserved for relatively uncontroversial individuals - often former statesmen or even celebrities - with popularity and charm being the most important factor when making a choice as they have so little power once elected. Presidents may only serve a single term, which lasts for six years.

[Vedastia]

The Kingdom of Vedastia is a federal timocratic constitutional monarchy divided into 32 semi-sovereign cantons with the monarch wielding executive power. The monarch must either assent to legislation passed by both houses of parliament, refuse assent to said legislation, or assent to parts of said legislation while refusing assent to others.

The monarch can appoint anyone to the office of Prime Minister in theory, but is typically the leader of the largest party/coalition in either house of Parliament.

Parliament is divided into the Senate (Spanish: Senado; Vedastian: Xenat; upper house) and the Chamber of Deputies (Spanish: Cámara de Diputados; Vedastian: Kamar vun Teputatii; lower house). The Senate is composed of 64 senators, with two senators chosen by each canton in staggered terms of four years. The Chamber of Deputies is composed of 1000 deputies, 500 of which are chosen by single seat electoral districts using instant-runoff voting, and the other 500 are chosen by proportional representation in cantonal electoral blocs (single transferable vote calculated using the Sainte-Laguë method).

We are a Constitutional Non-Hereditary Monarchy. We start with a Senate is elected by the people. The Senate than has control over who the Monarch is, and can remove and appoint a new Monarch by 3/4 majority at any time (although Monarchs traditionally serve for life, unless they do something pretty bad). The Senate appoints the Royal Court justices, while the King appoints the Cabinet (the Senate doesn't confirm Cabinet members, but they can impeach them). Finally, local governments exist to focus on local issues. They have very little power.

The King can issue Royal Decrees, but the Senate can strike them down. The King and Senate work together to make laws (although the Senate can override the King's veto with a 2/3 majority vote).

So, essentially, the Senate is the most powerful branch, but the King has the most decision making responsibilities.

[Van Hool Islands]

Westminster-style unicameral parliamentary democracy with a consitutional monarchy. Parliament is made up of one house, the House of Commons, elected via mixed-member proportional representation with 150 MPs that represent geographical constituencies, and 50 list MPs who are elected via party list. The Prime Minister leads and selects their Cabinet, who then each appoint a "Secretary Minister" to assist with their roles within Cabinet. The Cabinet is also opposed by the Official Opposition and their Shadow Cabinet, who appoint Opposition Critics who's jobs it is to scrutinise the Government and it's policies. Parliament can be dissolved at any time by either the King or the Governor General, although this has never happened without a sitting Prime Minister requesting Parliament be dissolved or a vote of no confidence happening. Elections are held every 3 years unless an early election is held.

The SUSR is a multinational intergovernmental organization made up of sovereign nations that operate under a socialist market economy and workers' democracy. The Chairperson is the highest position of the SUSR and is tasked with keeping the union together while also having the power to enact laws and public work projects. While the Presidents of each republic use their power to manage things at the domestic level and require the Chairperson's approval for anything international.

Long story short, the correct classification would be: "Socialist Democratic Republic"

[Great Nortend]

The Kingdom of Great Nortend is a unitary semi-constitutional Parliamentary monarchy ruled by the House of Anthord. The current Sovereign Lord is His Majesty King Alexander the Second, who has appointed His Grace the Duke of Limmes as his Lord High Treasurer and Prime-Minister.

The common legislative body is Parliament, formally known as the Royal High Court of the Parliament. It operates in a fashion rather similar to the Westminster system which was introduced from England in the 16th century, however with important differences. The Parliament is formally tricameral, including the House of Lords, the House of Burgesses and the House of Knights. In practice, however, the two lower houses are amalgamated for the most part as the Houses of Commons. Included in the House of Burgesses are the Scholars of Commons, who represent the Universities, and in the House of Knights, two MPs representing the direct interests of the Royal Army and Navy Royal. Currently there are 221 burgesses, 164 Knights of the Shire, 13 Scholars of Commons and 2 MPs for the Army and Navy respectively. The Speaker of the Houses of Commons is also the Speaker of the House of Burgesses, and is currently the Burgess for Mainrew, Sir Peter Faulkner. The deputy speaker is known as the Knight-Lieutenant, and is also the Speaker of the House of Knights. He is currently the Knight for Swent North East, Mr Henry Wigham. The House of Lords include 265 hereditary peers, 28 bishops and archbishops, and three abbots representing the three monastic orders of the Black Monks, Grey Monks and Sangwin Monks.

The Parliament sits at the Castle of the Court of Lerdenstone, located between the Calbend, the River Hame, South Street and the Little Ditch Street, within the Inner Ward of Cadell. The current building mostly dates from the 12th and 13th centuries, with later additions from the 16th and 19th centuries as the modern Government evolved into one similar to the Westminster system. The Houses of Commons sits in the Common Hall, a small, sparsely decorated chamber which dates from the 13th century and was originally the library of the Royal Council, which was moved to the present Library of Commons. It is distinctive having a blue ceiling, blue carpet and deeply coloured wooden panelling and cabinetry with blue plasterwork. The chamber still retains shelving on the walls of the hall which currently hold copies of most acts currently in force. The House of Lords meets in the Great Chapel, a larger, more decorative chamber officially named the Chapel of St Giles, with a scarlet or sanguine and gold colour tone with rich mahogany panelling and woodwork. Bills are presented to houses for debate and voting, and must be assented to by all three houses before they may be presented to and then assented to by Sovereign before they become law. The ceremony of Royal Assent is held in the House of Lords' chamber and customarily occurs eight times a year.

The executive government is represented and is supreme in the Sovereign, who alone is able to exercise many of the important functions of the executive. The Sovereign is advised by his ministers and the Privy Council on most matters, and generally acts only in accordance therewith. The main practical legislative power possessed still by the Sovereign that is still exercised is that of the making of statute law through Orders by Council. Orders in Council have far ranging powers through the exercise of the Royal Prerogative. These include dispensing with or suspending laws, appointing certain senior civil servants, declaring war, declaring peace, overrulling any court decision as well as a whole host of powers afforded by legislation. The Sovereign also uses Royal Proclamations, Royal Charters and letters patent to effect the will of government.

he most important officers of state in Great Nortend are the seven Great Officers of State. These form the core of the Royal Court and are either hereditary, indicated with an asterisk, or appointments for His Majesty's pleasure, though generally for life. They are, in order of importance:

Lord High Steuard*: The speaker of the House of Lords and the senior-most judge under the King, deputising for the King in the Court of the King-in-Council, as well as presiding in impeachment cases in the Court of the Noble Lords. Held by The Earls Steuard of Barminster, in fact dukes, since the 17th century.
Lord High Chancellour*: The deputy speaker of the House of Lords and head of the Court of Chancellery and the Court of the Noble Lords. Administratour of church lands and funds and Keeper of the Great Seal of the Realm, and responsible for administrating the courts. Held by the Bishops of Chepingstow, who appoints a Vicar-General to manage his ecclesiastical and religious duties.
Lord High Chamberlain*: The head of the Royal Household, and in charge of the Royal palaces and castles, as well as organising ceremonial occasions such as state visits and weddings, and also serves as the King's representative in the House of Lords. Also serves as the Chief Justice of the Court of the Ermine Office. Held by The Earls of Godsucham.
Lord High Treasurer: The controller and official head of the King's Treasury and Exchequer, and de facto Prime-Minister of the Government. Held by The Duke of Limmes.
Lord High Admiral: Political and professional head of the Navy Royal. Held by The Duke of Derham.
Lord High Constable and the King's Marischal*: Originally the commander of the royal armies. Nowadays, the Chief Justice of the King's Marischal and Constable's Court, and Field Marshal of the Royal Army. Held by The Marquess of Lasmere.
Lord Master of the Horse: Formally responsible for the running of the Royal Mews, hound kennels, stud farm, coaches, carriages and all other equine matters. His remit has expanded into the realm of trade and transport infrastructure in general, and is also ex officio the Lord Master of Trade. Held by The Baron de Stanfield. He appoints a deputy, the Gentleman of the Horse, to manage the day-to-day running of the Royal Mews.

All eight are cabinet level positions and holders are always Privy Counsellours and peers. Other senior political Government cabinet-level positions are listed below. These arguably have more actual practical powers, being in charge of most of the day-to-day running of the country.

Chancellour of the Exchequer: Deputy to the Lord High Treasurer, he is in charge of the Exchequer, that is, of collecting taxation, duties and levies, raising revenue for the Treasury. Nowadays, he also controls the fiscal policy of the Government. Held by the Rt. Hon. Peter Hofton.
King's Clerk: Minister in charge of home affairs, policing, national security, fire brigades, the constabularies and other domestic matters, who heads the Clerk's Department. Held by the Rt. Hon. Sir Aaron Billings.
Attorney General: Chief law advisor to the Crown, and also has control over most prosecutions by the Crown, and heads the Attorney General's Office. Held by the Rt. Hon. Sir Peter Finch.
Foreign Secretary: Minister in charge of foreign affairs and foreign diplomacy, who heads the Foreign Office. Held by the Rt. Hon. George Drachington.
Secretary at War: Minister in charge of the administration and organisation of the Royal Army, who heads the War Office. Held by the Rt. Hon. Frederic Hondel.
Postmaster General: Minister in charge of the running of and the head of the General Post Office. Held by the Rt. Hon. Sir Lachlan James.
Master of the Board of Education: Responsible for schools, universities, educational standards and colleges who heads the Board of Education. Held by the Rt. Hon. Dr Thomas Wolfuller.
Lord Master of the Board of Agriculture: Responsible for management of agricultural practice, enclosure and surveys parishes by productivity. Held by the Rt. Hon. The Lord Baker.

Each Parliament, Commune and Assembly must send 10 Representatives to the Federal Assembly, the Main Legislative body of the Federation. The number of members representing one political party per region depends on the distribution of seats in the Regional Parliament of the region (E.g., if political party A holds 40% of the seats in its parliament, it can send 4 representatives from its own party to the Federal Assembly), but no more than 5 representatives of the same political party can be sent. The Federal Assembly consists of 80 seats.
According to the Article 81 of the Grand Constitution of the Romellenic Federation, every 8 years after a secret ballot inside the Federal Assembly, 5 representatives are selected to the Grand Presidium of the Romellenic Federation. The 5 members of the Presidium are the guarantors of the Constitution, they serve as the Leaders of the Federation. In order to pass a law, 4 out of 5 signatures of the Presidium must be received.
The 5 members of the Presidium of the Romellenic Federation serve different roles: The Presidium of the Military serves as the Commander-in-Chief for the Federal Self-Defence forces of the Federation and all law enforcement agencies inside the Federation, The Presidium of Foreign Affairs is the only legal representative of the Romellenic Federation abroad, The Presidium of Finances, Business and Economy is the supervisor of the Federation's economic development. The Presidium of Education, Science and Technologies secures the country's leading position in the international scientific researches, and the Presidium of the Administration, the one responsible for forming the Government of the Federation and acting as the supervisor of the work of the Federal Assembly; he is the only one with the right to purpose the dissolve of the Federal Assembly.

Despite calling itself a 'free' people's republic, it is actually a communist dictatorship headed by the Grand Marshal, Wilhelm Armoslavky. It is divided into two States, the Russian SFR and the German SFR, and those states are divided further into Oblasts and Krais.

The Communist Party, enshrined in the constitution as the leading ideological force of the federation, leads the Union for the Revival of the Fatherland alongside the loyalist forces in the Patriotic Socialist Party, the Social-Democratic Party, the Agrarian Party and the Democratic Party.

The Republic's supreme legislature is, per the constitution, the Supreme Council with delegates from its de jure 25 Regions. However, since the destruction of the Central People's Collective, no new Supreme Council has been elected. The Communist Party declared a state of emergency, with federal legislative power being vested in the Central Commission of the Union for the Revival of the Fatherland (consisting of 28 Communist Party delegates, 4 Patriotic Socialist delegates, 3 Social-Democratic delegates, 3 Agrarian delegates and 2 Democratic delegates). The Central Commission similarly appoints the Premier and executive government of New Freedomstan, currently headed by Premier 462-555 who also functions as the General-Secretary of the Communist Party.

Judiciary duties are handled by appointees of the Local and Regional Councils. Due to the lack of an election of a Supreme Council for the past years, New Freedomstan has no judiciary on the federal level. Law enforcement is similarly appointed by the Councils, dubbed Worker and Peasant Militias, consisting of a mix of professional militiamen along with volunteers.

The Regions have significant autonomy, maintaining their own armed forces, laws and economic plans. However, only three of the twenty-five Nefreedian Regions are still functioning, with territories of three more former regions being under Nefreedian state control but without adequate economies nor populations. These areas are, for the time being, under the administration of Region #5.

The Councils (which can be grouped into Workplace, Local, Regional and Supreme councils) are elected by all working people. Workplace councils each have their own delegates to their local councils, with smaller workplaces of similar industries sometimes grouped together for the purposes of one delegate. The Local councils elects a certain number of delegates to the Regional Council, which in turn is supposed to elect a certain number to the Supreme Council, although this has not been done due to the state of emergency. The Union for the Revival of the Fatherland vets and approves all candidates, with the majority of delegates being elected unopposed.

[Kowani]

Kowani is technically a Constitutional Dictatorship. However, a more accurate definition would be a a constitutional bureaucratic dictatorship. Nothing gets done without filling out a ridiculous amount of paperwork, as well as cross-checking by various independent panels. The Halls of Legislation are confined very well by the constitution, and the High Leader doesn’t have the power to create laws. He can, however, propose them if he so desires. The courts are pretty American styled, although the judges aren’t chosen by the executive branch, but rather at random from a select pool of candidates.

[Marcianus]

Marcianus is a Constitutional Monarchical Republic, where the head of state, also known as LOM, or Leader of Mars, is elected by the popular vote of the people, and the leader's, well, leadership in question is regulated by the Martian Senate.

[Victorious Decepticons]

We are an autocratic military dictatorship run by Leader Megatron, who of course is also the Supreme Commander of the Decepticon Military. The Military's most elite Division reports directly to him, as do the High Generals. All laws are made by his direct decree.

- Right below him are the High Generals. All High Generals have a major Division of the Military reporting directly to them. Becoming a High General requires truly exemplary military successes.

- Some of the High Generals also serve in capacities similar to that of important cabinet members. We do not have nearly as many "cabinet-like" positions as some other governments, which is in accordance with our general disdain for multi-layered government and corporate administration, however, some departments are considered worthy of a more guided approach.

The departments (or "divisions" and "bureaus," as we prefer to call them) that have cabinet-like direction include Intelligence and Science.

- Governmental control is also strongly, though unofficially, exercised via Leader Megatron and the High Generals' strong personal control over key Decepticon industries. Mind you, this is no form of communism! All involvement is as private businesspeople, specifically so that they can PROFIT to the max. Energon, metal production, crop production, and certain other industries are all monopolized (except for a few cottage industry-level micro-outlets) either by Leader Megatron or one of the High Generals. It would be entirely un-Decepticon to have anything remotely approaching a prohibition or even a discouragement against this sort of thing.

- Far below the High Generals and their businesses are the Municipal Administrators. They are directly appointed by Leader Megatron, and there are thousands of them. Megatron appoints them with the help of the Domestic Intelligence Supercomputer, which he jacks into in order to gain access to the detailed files it has on every Decepticon citizen. He then chooses from those who he believes will be best for each opening.

Municipal Administrators are akin to dictatorial mayors, constrained only by the restrictions placed by Megatron, and each one is in charge of an Administrative District. Large cities are always single Districts, so there are no conflicts between Administrators as to how they will be run. More-rural areas are usually divided up by land area instead, so one person doesn't end up in charge of hundreds of square miles.

[Alinghi Federal-Democratic Republic]

Alinghi is a Federal Semi-Presidential Republic.

[Fecaw]

The King holds supreme executive power in Fecaw. He appoints Ministers to do his job, but tends to be very involved in politics. The King is chosen by his predecessor. The Senat is the legislative and judicial body of Fecaw. It may propose any law to the King for approval and reviews cases that no other court can. There are no political parties and any decision made by the Senat must gain the King's approval. The King can also create legislation, having the option of passing it through the Senat.

We are an absolute monarchy, with a feudal system.

The lords regulate themselves mostly, but the Grand Duke's word is law.

While there is technically a Prime Minister, his main job is more like the chief of staff than anything.

Not much else to say. The fact is, the Grand Duke is the word of law, and is not to be questioned.
