As for evening entertainment, it really depends where you're from. There are night clubs in the States, particularly in urbanized Japan and the Philippines. 1. The diametrical opposite of a Free Mandate, practiced in many Western countries. I suggest that Mr. Pilduski read the constitution, as not to get into any... legal-diplomatic.. troubles. Our fifth-graders know it by heart.
2. There is no National language, but there are dialects and tongues. These vary from region to region. The Federal Government does not really pay attention to what language you speak, at least as a civilian. Going into government, it is generally accepted (though not formally required) that one should learn Chinese, Japanese, and Filipino.
3. The Obliteration of the Self is completely secular, and the Catholic Church has not been "closed down". Many Asians just generally perceive its Western half to have deviated much from Christ's original teachings. The State had little to no role to play in orchestrating such a schism. It's just the way things are. Organized Religion has become so unpopular, we might as well have abolished it. Nevertheless, this should not be confused with State-Atheism, as our Soviet brothers in the North have enforced. Technically, you can still visit some of the rejectionist Churches that recognize the Vatican. But many Asians follow the religion more pragmatically rather than traditionally, and being a nice person is generally seen as more holy than going to church.
4. That must be Hao Di. The States hold refuge to Latin American and Afro-American refugees fleeing their hateful, oppressive Capitalist regimes. Famous singers are likely to have tributes to Asian Nationalism. For example, Jackie Chan is a prominent symbol of the Party. He was also the first to perform the current national anthem.
5. You kidding? Healthcare, education, housing and electricity is free; why shouldn't water be? Though maybe don't trust Bengali or Melanesian tapwater. We haven't gotten around to re-routing most of the primal plumbing systems there. Since you'll be staying at Neo-Manila, this hopefully shouldn't be a problem.

All of such services are free and funded by the State, mandatory for Igarashi Couples their children to. Children undergo a year's worth of Kindergarten, 3 years of Primary Elementary education, 3 more years of Intermediate Elementary education, then progress unto 6 years of High School; with no division between Junior and Senior High School as in most other nations.
