Ah well then... my suggestions:

AMAZED that the Communist Bloc has reportedly gone a whole 24 hours without splitting

As an editor I seam to spend an awful lot of thyme going threw issues and checking that they're no oblivious errars. Its a tough job but someone's got too do it!

The Communist Bloc is undoubtedly successful by the measures we'd use for regions. It's large, well established, has a dedicated regional government and manages to get by with a minimum of dick waving and drama. It's doing better than most regions. It's also communist - so there's no contradiction there.

It might just be a fondness for the old motherland, but I'd reckon, joking aside, there might well be enough done by various members of TCB to merit a commendation. That might stray a bit into raiding and defending, which I know a bit less about though.
As an editor I seam to spend an awful lot of thyme going threw issues and checking that they're no oblivious errars. Its a tough job but someone's got too do it!

Commies can get commendations if they do commendable stuff, but TCB raids too many innocent regions to deserve a commendation
