Firstly, I would like to thank Jocospor for generously equating Forest with such famous regions. I can now proudly say, with my hand on my heart, that my beautiful region has made the big league. Mind you, our leadership whenever there's a zombie outbreak or a nuclear conflagration has also been noted in the highest echelons.
On to the nation itself. Lord Dominator has been an exemplary member of the region. They are a much loved member of our diverse community where they contribute positively to our very active regional forums. They have made a huge contribution towards our recent efforts in bringing peace via righteous force in the recent nuclear crisis that engulfed much of the world. There is no evidence within the regional forums of any raiding activities so I remain puzzled by such accusations. Indeed, neither the resolution nor this discussion have produced any concrete evidence of such behaviour. Without the evidence, where's the crime?
Lord Dominator's laudable intentions are crowned by their active participation in the democratic processes of our exemplary region. They have even nominated as candidate in our biannual election for the position of Forest Keeper, where, if successful, they will become the honoured leader of a region that was rightfully commended by the Security Council. Such a commendation must surely reflect well on the character of a nation that, as far as I can see, is as pure as the driven snow.
I humbly beg nations to vote against the proposal.

Votes should not be cast so that L.D. can or can't get a shiny badge.
- Votes should not be cast because of some belief that this is a "tit-for-tat" resolution in response to SC#263. (N.B. Briefly on that: it isn't, which is probably very hard to believe. But had the Confederation been seeking revenge for SC#263, it would have acted entirely differently - targeting the nation which gave L.D. the idea for the liberation, for example.)
- Votes should not be cast to spite the proposing nation.
- Votes should not be cast to align with the irrelevant wishes of powerful coalitions.

They do have a point here, though. #2 is very debatable but the rest echoes my frustration with this whole process almost exactly. If you don't think LD's work to promote a new trend of offensive liberation is worthy of condemnation then fine, but that has hardly been what this thread has been about at all. And it's certainly not the reason behind this voting swing.
I think it's really that the author has (deservedly or not) annoyed the WA, and because of this it's most powerful coalition primarily wants to prevent this nation in particular from getting an SC badge. Before a couple of LD's friends pointed this out, she and her allies were all for it. Now all of a sudden they want to see how much they can turn the tide on it. It's all a bit mean spirited and cliquish imho.

Alright then, In that case it's probably mostly IA's actions that I'm frustrated with. wouldn't be the first time. I had assumed they flipped because you changed your mind, since they had stated earlier that they were voting for this because you were supporting it.

You'd be more frustrated with I.A. if you knew you changed his vote on L.D.'s orders, wouldn't you?
