Baseball is not very common in Lillorainen. There is a Federal League, but only a handful of teams are in it - so few that there isn't even a second league tier.

However, the American League games can be watched on TV, on sports channels. The most popular team are the Detroit Tigers - don't ask me why, though.
Since Lillorainen's geography is currently being overhauled a 'tiny' bit, most information on it posted before December 12, 2018, is not entirely reliable anymore. Until there's a new, proper factfile, everything you might need to know can be found here. Thank you. #RetconOfDoom (Very late update, 2020/08/30 - it's still going on ...)

Baseball is not popular in Theurgia.

Citizens are obsessed with slogball, however, a bat and ball sport similar to cricket.

In fact, Theurgia's worst terrorist attack occurred at the World Slogball Championship.

Baseball is mildly popular and played across the nation. There is a national baseball league, and it uses the standard rules.

There is no baseball culture here in Zhouran as baseball (along with other American sports such as basketball) have little popularity due to the large presence of commonwealth sports such as cricket and rugby football (ironically, Zhouran was never part of the Commonwealth but was indeed influenced by their sports).

The closest thing to baseball is cricket. Cricket in Zhouran is a popular sport with a continuous existence dating back to early 1931, when it was first introduced to the nation by Zhouranese expatriates residing in Britain and countries that had once been a part of the British Empire. Since then, it has become a national sport. Cricket is traditionally seen as a "professional sport" since it was established as a popular sport in Zhouran by the middle-class and wealthy upper-class. Described as "an iconic national sport", it has been featured prominently in Zhouranese popular culture. Because of its popularity and status as a national sport, Zhouran is considered to be one of the top cricket nations in the world. Not only that, Zhouran is also the only East Asian country to play cricket at a professional level, competing against Commonwealth cricket nations such as Australia and India.

Baseball is still a fairly young sport, but in the past decade it has seen a surge in popularity here, having been introduced by immigrants and visitors from the USA. Proper baseball fields aren't yet widespread, but Novoarkhangelsk and St. Julian both have one.

Not common, there are a handful of teams in Tosev that play it, but they have no stadiums.

On Coconut Palm Island, baseball is huge. The government facilitates all leagues, from ZZZ (Little League), to RL (Royal League, the majors,) to NC (Non-competitive adult leagues).

The RL, the Royal League, is made up of 10 teams, one from each district. The teams all have their own triple-A feeder teams, meaning each district also has one triple-A team. Every district has 3 double-A teams, meaning there are 30 in total. Finally, A is much different than it is in other places. The "A" league is reserved exclusively for college baseball. Every major university has a single-A team.

A summary of the differences between our game and American baseball:
  • Team size-- Each team furnishes a "28/32 roster". 28 may be in the dugout, and four more are "locked" but can be used in extra innings or after an injury.
  • Teams can make it to playoffs by finishing in "top three" OR by winning a midseason tournament.
  • No DH, except there is ALWAYS DH during the Summer tournament and for the playoffs.
  • The majors play from April 1 to October 31, but college teams play November 1 to April 20 (because the weather is nice year-round).
  • Penalties-- As usual, a batter who is hit gets to take a base. But, a batter hit twice gets to advance two bases, three times three bases, etc. A pitcher who hits 3 players in an inning or 5 players in a game is immediately removed (but not ejected as a punishment if it is an accident). Any pitcher intentionally hitting players, or any other injury attempts, result in a suspension, not just an ejection.
  • Mercy Rule-- Any team ahead 10 runs wins, but only after a complete inning (the home team must get a chance to return the runs).

Baseball is a relatively popular sport in Darmen, though Cricket is far more popular. The Batter-Up! Baseball League of Darmen is an 18 team league, split into a Northern League and a Southern League. Teams play a 150 game schedule, with the two league champions playing a seven game championship series. The 2037 regular season ended with the Scott City Blues Jays winning 126 games and losing only 24. They would go on to win the championship series in a four game sweep over the Eau Claire Barons.

While an old relic of the Old World, baseball still has a lasting influence on California. Coliseum City, Elysia, and South Park City are all built in baseball stadiums (the Oakland Coliseum, Dodgers Stadium, and AT&T Park respectively). Additionally, a popular peasant game known as hitball is directly influenced by baseball.

It is with regret that I must inform you that the game of baseball would be quite impossible to play in a non-Euclidean nation such as Czethuania. Our citizens, however, are known to watch a number of foreign baseball tournaments. As per the 'General Kinetics Survey' [OSt.O Document KS#0521], baseball was ranked as the twelfth most popular sport amongst Czethaunian citizens. Many thanks for your interest, and I look forward to corresponding further with you in the future.

Popular pretty much only in the southeast. In the Japanese-speaking province of Yoshima it's the most popular sport, in Finisterre it's one of two-three big ones and in the rest of Ko-oren it is widely acknowledged but not too many people could name the 12 professional clubs playing in the Ko-orenite League, for instance. The national team is also made up of players from these areas and has been decently successful at the World Baseball Classic, with a top 4-finish just once.

On lower levels, baseball is only played in Yoshima and Finisterre.

Baseball is not commonly played in Alpenzell, but it is possible to play or catch a game.

Some larger public schools offer the sport and most colleges and universities have a student or informal baseball team. Several baseball enthusiast's clubs exist and the small Alpenzell Baseball League hosts a handful of games in a handful of cities.

Baseball is one of the most popular sports in Excalbia and all the Excalbian Isles. There are two major Excalbian Isles-wide baseball leagues and numerous minor leagues. The All-Excalbian Baseball League (AEBL) is the oldest professional league, having been formed in 1882, and consists of teams in the Holy Empire and in the Confederation of Sovereign States (note: the country is name Soveriegn States in NS because the correct spelling was taken by a former nation). Among the best known teams are the Landing Narwhals, the Jefferson Pioneers, the Citadel Knights and the New Hope Gray Socks. In 1906, the International Baseball League (IBL) was founded with teams in the Dominion of Upper Virginia and in the Confederation. Later, teams were added in the Holy Empire. The best known teams in the IBL are the Courtland Eagles, the Petersburg Hawks, the Cambera Celtics and the Southport Mariners. There are two major rule differences between the two leagues, with the IBL employing both the Designated Hitter (who hits in place of the pitcher) and the pitch clock. The pennant winners of the AEBL and the IBL meet in the annual Excalbian Isles Series.

It is reasonably popular, especially in the north. It isn't our national sport, but it is probably only second to (association) football.
