Completely legal. Some in the population don't like it, some are Muslim, all have the right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Generally, people from Muslim majority countries are immigrating at a larger rate than they used to, but that's because some high-ranking government officials are Muslim. The government officials held mostly socially liberal stances, so the number of people that wanted to come in who agreed with jihadism were practically non-existent.

Interestingly enough, Islam was once more tolerated by the government than Bilanda’s native religion of Leukéanism! Leukéanism was once banned, but other religions such as Islam were still legal to practice. It all had to do with history erasure by a despotic Prime Minister before Clarice. Nowadays, religious freedom is applied universally, and there are many Muslims in Bilanda. Howver, Leukéanism is making a comeback since the ban has been lifted.
