TIGALDA (TEC) — In the midst of a developing conflict and controversy surrounding the funding of Mosques in foreign countries by Khataiy, Princess Dido D’Elise said in an interview that this type of foreign investment is rampant. “If you don’t believe other countries are doing the same, funding institutions operating in foreign countries to advance their goals abroad, then you’re either willingly ignorant or unable to think critically,” D’Elise said. “This is standard operating procedure made public. If only the governments knew about the efforts of their own allies to influence their own internal politics by funding institutions they’d declare war on them as well.” Dido called the escalation to war another example of the "so-called free nations of the world being more than willing to impose their twisted moralities on others," and that the investment policy was "the flimsiest of casus belli, which is all these governments need".

The policy of foreign investment, which has drawn the ire of many foreign governments, was stated to “help Muslims living outside Islamic nations fulfill their religious needs” by President Omar Khairallah, the president of Khataiy. The President went on to state that there was no hostile motive behind the plan and that the government of Khataiy wanted to “help those who wish to learn and embrace aspects of our way life”. The Crown and the larger Imperial Government of Beringia has not issued a statement or commented on the policy or the developing conflict. However, it is unlike the government will be lifting it’s ban on foreign investment for cultural institutions, which has included religious institutions since a directive issued in 2005 by the Department of Heritage and Cultural Affairs.

When asked for comment on President Khairallah’s statement, D’Elese said that it was “probably sincere” but was unwilling to expand on that. When asked if she supported the mosques being built in Beringia, Princess Dido said, “No, of course not. I worship Cardina, Etro, and the Twins, Salla Sinda,” and went on to say “I don’t believe they’re compatible with Beringian society, being funded by foreigners. And even if the Imperial Government allowed this brand of foreign investment they’d almost certainly be met with resistance.” The Princess was quick to clarify that such resistance would, “Be for different reasons entirely.”

Princess Dido owns and funds a network of cultural outreach centers which promote the glorious message of fascism and Beringian culture abroad.

In a press conference the foreign minister of France said that the Third French Empire understands the reasonable motives of Khataiy in trying to promote their religion but also believes that it should conform with the local situation. Mosque construction in France undergoes heavy supervision and they will not be permitted outside of established Muslim communities. Muslim run foundations from France welcome and support the move by finding land for these mosques to be built. They also help finance them.

In the streets



Riots and protesting all over Demitor have erupted, including massive protests in the captial of Carrack.What has turned from a peaceful protest of the government’s policy, which activists claim is discrimatory against Islam and Muslims by the government, has turned into a crackdown by the state. Besides local police forces being ordered to use beanbag shotguns and tear gas launchers at first, the government slowly pushed the larger cities into a state of marshal law. Tanks have moved into the streets of Carrack, and the military have been given full police authority, even if they were not military police prior. This has only been met with more protests, which lead to more injuries.

In the smaller towns, there has even been reports of national guard and reserve troops being mobilized for “riot control.” Ninety seven thousand troops have been airlifted from bases across Demitor for the trip to the captial, while activity at air force bases are very high. It looks like Demitor is slowly moving to a war economy as well, since the stock market was closed down after awhile in Carrack. The mandatory curfew enforced by the government has been extended indefiently, forcing people off the streets from around eleven p.m. to five a.m besides those traveling to and from employment as a vital public service employee or a military employee.

In the Countryside



Nuclear silos near the military town of Anitha have been reported as open, their hatches revealing sunlight to the missiles below. Family members of missilers have reported them as missing, since they haven’t seen them for days as they went off to their silos. Those questions have been answered when a single five minute phone call was suddenly allowed. Then no contact again. A hundred and forty silos have been reportedly fueling and sealing their command centers from the outside world as well. Amateur photographers have released a set of photos of a silo in the middle of what was once a field, but slowly was uncovered to be a disguised nuclear missile silo. It shows the missile hatch opened, and steam pouring out of the silo itself, indicating that the ICBM’s are being cooled and readied.

At airports



Near major airports, any flight originating from the middle east have been sized by the government, and their citizens immediately detained by military police upon landing. Airspace has been slowly restricted more and more to civilian air traffic, as any civilian could accidentally fly over and reveal the massive activity being observed at military bases. Unconfirmed reports, denied by the government, say that their are camps at military bases and in smaller cities resembling refugee camps and prisons mixed together.

The government of Terhovistan has denounced Demitor's actions as excessive and unwarranted. The government warned of civil rights abuse of the custody of Muslims without due cause. To further announcements, they advise its own citizens to take shelter in case of extreme emergencies and are placing a no fly zone against Demitor. Citizens are therefore at their own risk when flying abroad and are participating in drills.

As to the Khatily's involvement the government condemns Khairallah's civil rights abuse and ultra conservative theocratic policies and will unlikely to permit any construction of their mosques.

Royal Alexandria, 3 September 2018 — The month of September has seen the petroleum tankers of Khataiy and the Nineteen Countries attempting to expand their market share of petroleum trade the International Incidents over.

“The twenty-first century Muslim World” is a somewhat inaccurate description of a collection of fast growing nations in the international community: having high birthrates and are very active, rich in natural resources, and with capital to burn. They build mosques and cultural centres the international community over to show that the Islamic Renaissance is all but a certainty — and Khataiy seems determined to be at its forefront. However, from the point of view of a petroleum carrier and shipping owner operator, the land of the Khataiyi presents something more tangible: its abundance of natural resources and fast growing merchant fleets.

The most active petroleum tanker fleet by International Incidents presence as of 31 August 2018 is arguably that of Khataiy — the most active geopolitical player of the Islamic community this year. Involving itself in many International Incidents and diplomacy, it is no coincidence that the largest merchant carrier owners in the Ba’athist state are from those nations that have the most to gain from not missing out on the Muslim world’s rise to activity. Yohannesian policy analysts have long believed that Khataiy has an output, petroleum per barrel, cost of less than 523.06 Quertz russling (4.7 NationStates Dollar or Universal Standard Dollar). Yohannesian petroleum concerns with the socially-conservative Ba’athist state administer 41 ultra large crude carriers, which collectively take almost 10 per cent of the Nineteen Countries’ “black gold” seagoing capacity in 2018.

According to His Excellency Malik Abdullah, the Ambassador of Andalusin to the Nineteen Countries, “The State of Monavia, ODECON, and Blackhelm Confederacy — those were the legends. Although the 41 ultra large crude carriers are run by the Nineteen Countries, they are owned by the government of Khataiy — a government known for its notorious human rights track record against even its own population, and for its funding of “cultural” initiatives the international community over. “They have money to burn: they are investing in thousands of mosques in multiple nations in 2018 alone, by gobbledygook. What they do with those mosques or what they do to their own people; it is none of our concern — we are here [in Khataiy] to inject capital and to cooperate with the local authorities to support Khataiy’s rapid economic growth.”

According to the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade’s Company Register, the government-owned shipping company had changed its name to Khataiy and Yohannes Seagoing Merchant Joint Stock Company in December last year. The company, which has been one of the Nineteen Countries’ most active operators of ultra large crude carriers since Khataiy’s rapid rise in April this year, also owns the Baa’thist Souriya Al Assad Shipping General Partnership, which is responsible for 18 tankers with 812,000 deadweight tonnage, including 13 Type 3 bulk chemical carriers. Yohannesian media lambasted the deal, saying that it “represents the Khataiyi regime’s neo-colonial ventures and its love of twenty-first century cultural imperialism.”

In May, Baa’thist Souriya Al Assad sold 10 per cent of its stake in Khataiy and Yohannes Carrier to fund the construction of three grand mosques and 78 mosques in the Kingdom of Alexandria. Last month, it invested two billion Quertz russling (18 million NSD) from its last fiscal earnings for the construction of 157 Madrasas for children under 16 and three Islamic Expeditionary and Military Learning Centre in the Regency of Lindblum.

Senior diplomats of the Embassy of the Nineteen Countries to the Free Kingdom of Allanea have called the news “the harbinger of what’s to come,” and called the celebrating Mayor of Greater Halsten “a mad man” for his naivety about Khataiy’s brand of Islam, believing that it is completely incompatible with Yohannesian culture and its multicultural values. The Mayor said: “Upon hearing the news that the Government of Khataiy has invested a further 11.1 billion Quertz russling (100 million NSD) to acquire a stake in Alleswerken Joint Stock Company, the largest general trade and shipping enterprise on the continent of Yohannes, I shook my head and look at the sky — may the Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us, for we have handed our future independence on a silver platter for immediate, short-term shareholders’ earnings.”

For her part, Chancellor Annabelle Thorndon-Stevensonn’s policy towards Ba’athist Khataiy is clear: propel the growth of transportation of crude oil to and from the Nineteen Countries in 2019, and we will give the green-light to the opening of various Islamic cultural institutions in not just the Nineteen Countries but also other nations the international community over.

“We believe in a truly multicultural society — Khataiy will contribute further to the inclusivity and rich diversity of not just our nation but also other trading partners abroad.”

And the Government of the Arab State of Khataiy has not been slow to seize this opportunity — it has promised to invest a further 11.1 billion Quertz russing (100 million NSD) for new ship construction and further tonnage sales for its market to expand its shipping fleet in 2019. Baa’thist Souriya Al Assad Shipping’s stated company vision and mission is to become the most active operator of large crude carriers the international community over, all under Khataiyi flag, in the years 2019 and 2020. In January, this very ambitious target resulted in the deal made between Khataiy and Yohannes Seagoing Merchant and Alleswerken to transport crude oil from Khataiy “and other friendly Mohameddin nations” to production facilities in the Kingdom of Burmecia.

The deal, which was originally estimated to be 7.9 billion Quertz russling (71 million NSD), is set to run every year until 2023. However, the market looked askance when a later announcement was made by the Government of the Arab State of Khataiy for it to administer Alleswerken’s ultra large crude carrier operation in the Khataiyi land and its “fully-converted overseas territories”; in return, the Yohannesian general trade company acquired a stake in Khataiyi bulk cargo concerns to the non-Occidental nations — such as the rising power Greater Nifon. “The merchant shipping trade-off allows both enterprises to enter their respective markets at the expense of the local owners, and without their say, who were already operating in those spaces,” says Nineteen Countries Maritime Union spokesperson Ms Alwina Gebhardt.

“This is a disgrace and we demand for it to stop immediately.”

The first benefit that can be had from the agreement is quite clear, in that Alleswerken will operate the Khataiyi-owned, newly-built 300,000 deadweight Abdul Jabbaar El-Arafat to handle Yohannesian petroleum in Burmecia Offshore Facility in January next year for a “serious” contractor in the Orient. “With member states of the International Freedom Coalition and Santiago Anti-Communist Treaty Organisation expanding day by day, and imposing their rules upon those they disagree with, that is probably where the most earnings would be, again,” says Her Excellency Claudia Schönbein, Ambassador of the Nineteen Countries to the United States of Devonta.

“And where there are earnings to be had, Bank of Yohannes funding will go there.”

The agreement was ironically signed just before Khataiy announced its 2.5 per cent new stake in Karori Investment Management Corporation, in return for Yohannesian investment in Khataiyi tourism industry and its agriculture, metallurgy, shipping and industrial concerns.

Today’s exchange rate: According to the International Securities and Exchange Commission, 1 NationStates Dollar or 1 Universal Standard Dollar (NSD/USD) (World Assembly and International Standard) is enough to buy 111.28 Quertz russling (Yohannesian); that is, a Yohannesian needs to spend at least §111.28 to be able to afford $1 NS.

Soldiers from the Third Infantry Division patrol the streets of Carrack after the Central Command ordered a state of martial law.


The response was immediate to the threats made by both countries as soon as they were announced. A hundred and thirty thousand troops were immediately deployed to protect citizens and help local law enforcement to contain, as the government put it, foreigners who were working against the government entirely. Citizens who are both the subjects of Don Carlos IV, and citizens of the government of Terhovistan were asked to pack up their things and be moved to special prisons, as they are viewed as enemies of the state. They are allowed to speak to the international press, though the government is forced to shut down the proceedings as the prisoners asked their governments to bring them home at once.

Mosques were raided by Demitorian Rangers, the special forces arm of the Demitorian army after there were reports of the mosques being funded by Khataily and they were the ones who helped run them. As citizens protested out past their curfew, a small scale battle erupted between protesters trying to contain the raid and outright prevent them, and the military and police, who used any means necessary to stop the crowds from advancing. Eighty people were reportedly injured in the protests, with almost three hundred arrested, including most of the protest's organizers. The government then immediately shut down all internet servers in Demitor besides basic communication and those needed to run Demitor's state intranet which any citizen could use freely for the time being until the internet was established.

As for the no fly zone, all civilian air traffic besides those already in the air have been grounded, and the current flights in the air will be forced to land at their nearest airport, or, if Mexican or Terhovistan, be shot down instantly. The Air Force, the military branch that was already on the highest alert possible, is scrambling F-22's and F-15's of the Air National Guard to meet any unidentified contacts that are instantly designated a threat by the air defense center of that region. Already, the Air Force has claimed three kills of the Mexican Empire's flagged aircraft for violating its airspace twice. Demitorian Air Force aircraft have also intercepted and almost shot down five other aircraft, though they landed before they could be shot down. they were promptly boarded by heavily armed military police, and the pilots simply arrested for violating Demitor's now closed airspace.

Useless governments always try and discredit the stronger ones, as is always goes. Three nations have said they will enforce a ”no fly zone,” with whatever puny air forces they have, I say let them try. We have tried to contain a menace to the nation, and the military is working towards that, along with the rest of the government. These protests are clearly aimed at destabilizing us, and influencing our population towards certain states. These violent, cowardly people who disrupt the peaceful nation will not be forgotten soon, as now it’s come to marshal law. The people who want us to open up to destabilizing forces in the world will not win at all. As these buildings are clearly influenced and paid for by a state actor with a clear mission to influence the population under the guise of “helping the poor.”

This state actor, and its allies, will not be allowed to propagate these acts any longer. Even with the massive burden of protecting the world from a simple program that has turned the world against it, its of no matter. Thirty eight hydrogen missiles have been confirmed as fueling, and already, missiles are being targeted at satellites orbiting earth. Since other countries want to push the government to war over a simple temporary marshal law to help ensure peace, the government is more than accepting of the war hawkish actions of certain countries. We will simply just remove them from the map, which would be a better use of the land than it’s being now.

Already, three hundred thousand soldiers are at the border with the Empire of Mexico-Spain, augmenting the now heavily armed thirty thousand border patrol agents. The government tissues a counter ultimatum to the world, either remove these threats and violations of Demitor’s soverginity, or face total and absolute destruction by the hand of the military. Of course, the less fortunate citizens of these governments deserve to live under a government which actually protects them and ensures their safety.

Already, these state sponsors of violence on the streets, especially those in the middle east, have been so influential in calling for violence that a first strike might be nesscary to stop them. Even with the “sanctions,” the economy is running at full war economy, so the sanctions are worthless, even though they would be since the nation doesn’t even really trade with anyone besides the Empire of Mexico. The government would be severely weakened if trade was cut off in the south, more than 45% of the national coal supply flows through the southern border.

Protests in Carrack reached almost 2 million and stopped at the captial, even with the massive police presence.

Protestors have numbered in the millions, and overwhelmingly outnumber the current military and police presence as of this morning. The government has responded by authorizing tear gas to be deployed by grenade launcher by the normal police, while the military has been authorized to use military force if the march even steps on to captial grounds. Only a couple injuries have been reported as of yet, mostly from protestors who were directly hit by either bean bag rounds or the actual cannster that tear gas comes in.

"Carrack will burn," muttered the co-pilot of the Su-34 fighter-bomber.

The glorious nation under the aegis of the Garuda was far from forgiving. The Demitorians had refused the demands of the Prawati Republic, and thus they were about to receive what they deserved. The Demitorians seemed to be caring more about the Mexicans, who posed a direct threat to them. Little did they know that the tiny island nation thousands of miles away from their homeland would be unleashing their own terror upon the Demitorian people.

They were but a few hours away from Demitor, with the 452nd Fighter Squadron- nicknamed "Garuda" after their Su-30MKM aircraft, designated in Prawata as the Su-30TNP- already having been based in North America for training. It was like an armada of the skies, with 18 Su-30TNP aircraft with air-to-air missile loads roaring through the evening skies. Twelve Su-34 fighter-bombers followed suit, armed with anti-radiation missiles and jamming pods to deal with enemy radars, swiftly and efficiently. Two electronic aircraft and aerial refueling aircraft lumbered behind a support for the fighter aircraft ahead.

There were several primary targets the Prawati forces were going to hit: Hardright Air Force Base, the primary target, the Department of Internal Affairs building and the Central Headquarters building. Behind the main force of fighter-bombers was another twelve Su-34s, this time armed with cruise and cluster munitions to disable the primary target. One large An-124 cargo plane followed behind the aerial refueling aircraft- its purpose would become apparent later.

"The Demitorians think they're so powerful- it'd be unfortunate to see their superiority complex of theirs tumble down at the simple push of a button," said Flight Lieutenant Lestari Wijaya. She sat at the controls of the Su-34 fighter-bomber, their anti-radiation missiles slung down below.

"It certainly is an honor to have the ability to destroy these racists." replied Major Sudiroprojo.

Demitorian airspace was coming up fast, soon enough they would be detected by enemy radar and they'd be over Carrack. Of course, there were methods to counteract this. The aircraft came equipped with the Khibiny aircraft electronic countermeasures (ECM) modules. The system, designed for radio direction-finding and probing signal source irradiation, allows it to distort reflected signal parameters. The system allowed the aircraft to delay detection, mask the true subject against false reflections, cause range finding difficulties, namely in speed and angular positions, degrade Maintenance Mode "on the aisle" when scanning antenna beam radar and increase the time and difficulty of capturing an object during real-time active scanning.

They couldn't stay invisible forever, though. By the time they soared into Demitorian airspace, they got to work. With intelligence obtained from satellite intelligence was able to pinpoint the general location of the enemy's F-15 Strike Eagles at Hardright AFB, while the SAM systems would be localized by ELINT before the main attack was unleashed.

Hardright Air Force Base was about to be battered by a wall of missiles. The aircraft would launch four thermobaric cruise munitions at the control tower, two at every hangar, and one at the base's headquarters. After, six cluster munitions would be unleashed upon the hangars and runways, seeking to disable any further response from enemy aircraft. Lastly, two munitions akin to Lockheed Martin's CHAMP technology were to fly over the hangars to fry enemy electronics that survived to render them blind to the world.

The missiles would fly at high subsonic speeds, at the nap-of-the-earth altitude of around fifteen meters, well below the watchful eyes of the enemy radar systems which searched the skies for enemy aircraft. The moment the systems detected the low radar cross section munitions, the storm would have already been unleashed upon them and any forces of aviation there would have been wrecked.

In perfect coordination with the aircraft striking Hardright AFB, the SAM systems guarding the city would be dealt with. The Prawati airforce's datalinks were efficient and functioning at all times, which would help to give them an edge over the enemy forces.

Demitor was already on Defcon 1, and it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume they already had combat air patrols over Carrack. Thus, 12 Su-30TNP air superiority fighters would be tasked with an offensive counter-air (OCA) mission to neutralize whatever aircraft was in the air or what was left- if anything- of the aircraft at Hardright. The hostile fighters would be engaged instantly and be greeted with a salvo of three R-77 missiles before the pilots sent the aircraft into a rapid peak down movement and close in with the hostile aircraft in the event they survived the initial salvo.

As for the SAMs, the Su-34s equipped with anti-radiation missiles would be about to unleash their load of Prawati-made Sriwijaya anti-radiation missiles, nicknamed "SAM-killer". The Sriwijaya was ram rocket-powered, a deadly dart that soared through the sky at four times the speed of sound that could effectively strike the hostile radar installation from as far as three hundred kilometers away. Combined with the loiter mode, that gave the missile a built in parachute, which enabled it to descend slowly until the radar lit up, when the rocket motor will re-ignite. Even a temporary shut down of the enemy's missile guidance radar can be of a great advantage to friendly aircraft during battle, thus the missiles would be vital in taking out enemy surface-to-air missile systems.

Three Sriwijaya missiles would be fired at each radar station, with several more in reserve for radar stations that had not lighted up yet. The second they turned on, an anti-radiation missile would be fired right at it. The four electronic warfare aircraft were about to make themselves useful too.

Coordinating with the attack on the airfield and against the SAMs, the electronic-warfare aircraft unleashed a massive electronic warfare storm upon the enemy. Using pods mounted on the fighter-bombers and the electronic warfare aircraft, the SAM batteries would suffer jamming on every main channel using digital radio frequency memory jamming (DFRM) which would receive and replicate their signals to make countless fake targets appear on every side.

With an all-out attack on the enemy military systems, it was time for the final phase of the attack. The fighter-bombers with remaining munitions quickly darted over to launch salvos of missiles at the Central Headquarters building and the Department of Internal Affairs building, while others attacked factories, train stations and administrative buildings. The final asset was about to be unleashed.

The pilots of the An-124 looked to each other, knowing that they would all be going to die today. Nevertheless, they knew it was for the greater good. As the plane flew over Carrack, they would open the rear ramp and allow the cargo began to pour out of the back ramp of the aircraft. They would make several passes over the city, dropping multiple of these crates at a time. When the first crate hit the ground down below. a large flash and explosion would follow as it hit- the Prawati Air Force would unleash multiple Aviation Thermobaric Bomb of Increased Power (ATBIP), nicknamed the Father of All Bombs- upon Carrack. The largest non-nuclear bomb in existence.

"All that is alive, simply evaporates."

Once they had dropped the crates of bombs, the aircraft would begin dropping multiple small canisters of Sarin gas all over populated areas- both civilian and military- in an attempt to score as many kills as possible. Once they had exhausted their munitions, they would fly into the tallest skyscraper in Carrack.

This was the price for not listening to Prawata's demands.

What is there to say about a government that bombs places of worship? Without provocation? Would it be wrong to label them terrorists? Apparently so. This is being carried out directly by Demitor's military without question. Let's go back a few days to set the stage for those of you that are just tuning in, before Demitor's government lost it (if they ever had it). The Khataiy recently launched an initiative to build mosques in countries with non-Islamic majorities (with permission) and in a statement signed by the President of Khataiy, Omar Khairallah, the Khataiyi government explained their goal was simply to "help Muslims living outside Islamic nations". This sends people into a frenzy (see: Tavijana). But, not as much of a frenzy as the government of Demitor which responds to this news by going out of their way to send bombers to other countries where the mosques are being freely and legally built to destroy them.

Under any other circumstance this would be called exactly what it is: state terrorism. Not state sponsored terrorism because they're not just paying for it. They're pulling the triggers and dropping the bombs themselves. It's actual terrorism. I can't be the only one aware of this. Has anyone called it that? No. Governments around the world are treating Demitor with kid gloves. The President of Terhovistan called the bombings "excessive and unwarranted", as if the bombings would be okay if they destroyed mosques a little less and maybe gave a better reason. I guess we have to keep an eye on them too. The government of Soudar referred to the bombings as "extremely sad". Forgive me if I don't see that statement lifting the families of those who lost their lives in these attacks up out of the fresh hell that is their new reality. Sure there are talks of a no-fly zone, but are there really any teeth behind that? I hope so.

Citizens of these so called enlightened democracies are getting locked up. They're carrying out mass deportations. They've shut down their internet. They've deployed a few hundred thousand men to their border. They deployed the national guard to small towns for riot control. It's crazy that just two days before Khataiy announced this policy they were just fine. Now the government's lost all their marbles in a failed mental game of KerPlunk. If this wholesale unraveling and descent into paranoia wasn't so comical I'd be concerned about what collective trauma the government of Demitor suffered to be inflicting so much pain on themselves. Who touched them? I may be black bagged if I mention the color of Empress Renata's underwear (probably not, she can take a joke, but still) but no one is locking me up because of what God I worship. That'd be kind of hypocritical for a woman that worships the literal Goddess of Death.

That's not all, folks. Yesterday Lieutenant Colonel Arthur "I bomb religious ceremonies for fun" Jameson penned his own op-ed in The Independent, and what a smarmy piece of writing that was. Not the least bit remorseful, Lt. Col. Jameson decries the "violent, cowardly people who disrupt [his] peaceful nation". This article is already well beyond parody and we're only half way through the first paragraph. He then says, "The people who want us to open up to destabilizing forces in the world will not win at all". Open your eyes, Colonel. You and your ilk have destabilized your country all by yourselves. Now, I will admit, as the good colonel says, Khataiy is probably doing this to influence people. Expanding on that, as Princess Dido said a few days earlier, governments do this kind of thing to influence foreign populations all the time. It's nothing new. Maybe this was too open to ignore. But have these people heard of the concept of proportionality? I really doubt it. Next time I visit Demitor I hope I don't have my legs broken for jaywalking.

It's almost as if he's speaking from an alternate reality where someone else got triggered and decided to bomb mosques and Demitor is responding to the rogue terrorist party. Moving on, just after threatening those standing against Demitor with "total and absolute destruction" the good colonel states that the less fortunate deserve a "government which actually protects them and ensures their safety". Safety from whom? Maybe the people threatening "total and absolute destruction"? No, the people building mosques are doing that. He ends his piece by puffing up Demitor's government in the worst manner, which I care not to republish.

It is laughable that a policy of funding the construction of places of worship with altruistic goals in mind has escalated, almost entirely by the efforts of Demitor's government, to Demitor teetering on the brink of collapse under the potential threat nuclear war. The only thing funnier would be if Demitor's government and society completely collapsed because it went out of its way to bomb mosques like the terrorists they are. And I bet they're still trying to figure out why everyone's got their underwear in a twist. Who exactly does this serve? For what reason are they doing this? I invite the good colonel to respond but I doubt I'll get anything other than a boilerplate spiel on freedom. I live in Beringia, City of Marston, and I get by just fine without all of that.

No, I don't want Beringia to get involved. It's already too messy and if we have to throw our hats in the ring what does that say about those people. We have the foresight to watch at least some of these displays from the sidelines. So, I know what you're thinking: Eddie, what's with the rhetorical questions? Why not just say what you're thinking? I'll tell you what, reader. It's because my readers aren't dumb, you know the answers, and the insanity pouring out of Demitor is as plain as the nose on your face. So I'll say it, not because you need to be spoon fed but because I'm not going to bite my tongue on my own website. Because no one else has said it: Demitor's government deserves every bit of hate they get, and everything else coming their way. The world will be a better place without them.

All was quiet on the base, normal operations were ongoing, when suddenly, the scramble alarm went off. The pilots, thinking it was just a drill, scrambled to their jets, most ran to MiG-29's, some to the upgraded MiG-29SMT, and a couple even to the newer F-35A's sitting idle on the tarmac. They remained idle, as they weren't even sure if it was a drill or the real thing yet. Not even the air combat directors, who are supposed to be directing the defenses and evacuating the countryside don't have any idea what's going on. The coastal radars either went offline for repairs this morning, or just went silent. Nobody really thought anything about it at all, sometimes electronics have problems. The air battle managers, one step above the air combat directors, didn't even submit a report to high command, just a simple, turtle speed memo to get the radars fixed again.

Then all hell breaks loose.

First, the three or four combat air patrols over the capital tried to engage the incoming threat, which even then they didn't know what it was. Preliminary radar reports showed Su-30's, which threw a wrench into the air force's high command again, as they operate similar types. Already, two radars have been taken down by this threat, which is slowly being realized. Nobody bothered to tell the civilian government, with the military going into full overdrive mode as the Air Force moved to act. The aircraft at Hardright were the closest to the capital, but instead of scrambling to intercept the threat, the Su-57's and F-35's, the pride of the air force, were sitting either in flames or struggling to get away from the carnage of the wrecked base. Of the few fighters to even reach the air, they are in varying states of readiness at the time, with someone not even armed.

At Wilson, it looked like there was a fire lit under everyone as they scrambled to get even some sort of defense into the skies. Wilson housed the National Air Defense Command Center, responsible for nearly all air defense operations around Demitor. It wasn't even nearly fully staffed yet, but already it was a hive of activity. For some reason the first dozen or so radars and anti aircraft defenses that are fixed and turned on were gone and silent in under a minute of activation, which surprised the staff. Someone from the staff had tipped off the city of Carrack, which immediately issued an emergency mandatory evacuation for the city as a whole.



Even with the massive road infrastructure of the city, it still wasn't prepared for the entire city at once. Then the bombs. It at first hit a school, not yet evacuated. Then two hospitals and a fire station are next to be obliterated. The city was immediately overwhelmed by the amount of 911 calls by the population. With the city under attack, and the air force struggling to respond adequately to the threat, the decision was made to scramble literally every jet in the air force's inventory, and find some use for them. The most important jet was the E-4B command post, which was used by the central staff from their escape from their headquarters.

Then, reports of more massive bombs dropped, and citizens reporting falling sick immediately thereafter. An emergency action notification was sent all over Demitor, and finally a FLASH priority message to Air Force Strategic Strike Command, the agency responsible for the weapons of mass destruction that Demitor possesses. The message was simple on both ends; prepare for war. Nuclear War.



As soon as the nation responsible for this attack was identified by the tail markings of one of the downed enemy fighters as Prawata, seeing this small scale attack as an instant act of war, the missiles preparing for launch all this time went into activation mode, with confirmed smoke plumes around most silos. Demitor was going to war, and was going to make Prawata pay for it. As Demitor is a bigger nation overall, the fact that they were able to do a simple first strike was unbelievable, and was an admitted embarrassment. The general staff was going to have a long road ahead of them.



The Sunstate Tower, the largest skyscraper in Demitor, was also hit, it was unknown whether it was a plane or a missile, though plane parts have been reported in the wreckage. It is unknown the death toll from this act alone, but the overall attack has numbered in the tens of thousands, with almost three hundred government or military deaths, with over two hundred of them at Hardright. The loss of the bulk of the F-35 and Su-57 fighter fleet was also a detrimental blow to Demitor overall, as now the Air Force is left with a token number of 5th generation fighters thanks to the actions of some early 2000's hardware.

BREAKING NEWS 08/09/2018 AD Nuclear Conflict Breaks Out Between Demitor and Prawata! Mexico Steps Up Embargo of Demitor but Remains Silent After Attack Just after utilizing the call of Padre Hidalgo in an attempt to sweep the people of Demitor into revolution, as well as announcing the embargo of goods going into Demitor, the government has officially confirmed that Demitor has been struck by an unprovoked nuclear attack from Prawata. Prawata, an island in the pacific, has done so in an apparent defense for Khataiy's mosque building programs. Casualtie counts are expected to be in the millions, and retaliation from Demitor is almost certain. "Any hope for a revolution at this point is moot, now." said Dr. Guillermo Lopez of the Imperial Academy "Nothing brings people into line with government bulls**t than fear, and what is more terrifying than nuclear war?" The government has continued the embargo, as well as the destruction of Demitor's needed coal, and has offered no statements on the nuclear attack. Opposition in the Senate has decried the emperor for putting Mexico into the middle between a rock and a hard place, as Mexico has both condemned Demitor for its actions against Khataiy but also put itself in against Khataiy and her allies for halting the mosque building and expelling Khataiy's people from the empire. Even though Demitor is north of Mexico, the state has said any fallout coming from the strike isn't likely to affect the Empire due to this year's El Nino. No troops have been mobilized so involvement in this conflict is unlikely. The northern border has been sealed, however, and we can now confirm that the Emperor has pushed the senate into refusing any Demitorian refugees asylum due to national security concerns.
