Let the games begin!

Eagles over Falcons
Bengals over Colts
Ravens over Bills
Saints over Bucs
Pats over Texans
Vikings over Niners
Titans over Dolphins
Jaguars over Giants
Steelers over Browns
Chargers over Chiefs
Panthers over Cowboys
Redskins over Cardinals
Seahawks over Broncos
Packers over Bears
Lions over Jets
Rams over Raiders

I was half tempted to take Houston over NE, just based on a gut feeling. Also that Falcons/Eagles game should be really good. It's a tossup.

Record this season: 0-0 ; 0%

I hate the Pats, but they have no real competition in the AFC East. I think they'll get a first round bye too, honestly. Best I can bring myself to hope for is an upset loss in the divisional round.

My hope is that infighting in the team breaks them. Belichick might end up fucking off if Kraft pisses him off too much

Saints over Bucaneers
Dolphins over Titans
Ravens over Bills
Steelers over Browns
Bengals over Colts

It depends on our O-line: how long our starters are injured, and how well the subs can protect Cousins.

I see someone is taking the Texans over the Pats at NE. The Pats are more likely to lose a game in the first quarter of the season than the other three. I'd like the pick better if the game was in Houston. The o/u is 51. I'll take the over.

The proposition that the Browns beat the Steelers. Sound crazy? Well Vegas only has it at Pitt -4. Maybe not so crazy. I dunno, it's a crap shoot. The o/u is 45.5. I'll go over on that game with these new tackling issues.
Steelers D can be scored upon too.

Bills/Ravens has lowest o/u of all week 1 games at 41. I think it goes under. The Ravens at -7.5 will cover if they are + or even on the turnover differential. I think they win the turnover battle.

I feel the Chargers at -3 hosting the Chiefs are a decent enough play to take, and for some intangible gut feeling type reason I think the Bears will cover in GB at +7.5.

I also like the Rams -4 on the road in Oakland. Road faves are tough to swallow, but I like this one after the Khalil Mack trade.

Come October I'll might have enough of a feel for the trends to pick all the games, but definitely not now. Hard to break old habits. :)

Please leave a column for me, though it may be mostly empty until October. No need trying to include my o/u picks on this chart. :)

Excellent! I'll get right on that, and hopefully I'll have it available in time for TNF tomorrow. I'll be watching this thread, so anyone who hasn't done their picks yet can also be included.

The 2018 season is here! Teams have finalized their rosters, and many teams, ownership, fan-bases, and all, have pinned their hopes on talented young rookies who's electric talent has the chance to take the league by storm. Others are dug in with returning veteran talent, loaded and ready to make another run at a Super Bowl Title, while some yet are rebuilding, waiting for their time to come.

Regardless of their plans for the 2018 campaign, one thing is for certain: The time for off-season story lines is over. The NFL season is here, and all that matters now, the things that will get players on the in January, will be happening between the lines.

Cousins and Peterson should have their jerseys switched in that picture!

That's a good outlook for handling a road game at M&T Bank Stadium vs. the Ravens as well as a few other road venues.

If DeShaun Watson plays as well as I think he can, the Texans should have a real shot at beating the Pats.

Matchup of the week in my opinion is Eagles/Falcons opening night. I'm excited for this matchup. Could we see a rematch in the NFC Championship Game? Just a thought.

In my opinion, not only that, but JJ Watt is due for a game against the Pats. I'm always hyped to see him go after Brady, because Brady, in my opinion, is fine until you move him from his spot (Goff's the same way, but Brady is certainly better under pressure), and Clowney is healthy.

Texans are 1-9 all time vs Pats with the lone win coming at Houston. I'd love to see the Pats lose their home opener, but with that said, i don't expect it.
