They looked as the now named officer Iffy walked away and turned to look at Melo. Giuseppe loaded the luggage and got in the passenger seat still smoking as Jose was standing and sizing up the boy

“So, Melo, seems like you got into a little problem with your sister there. What were you doing off shore?” he questined with his hands on his hip

“Leave the bambino alone, eh? I want to reach some kind of civilization before it gets dark.” Giuseppe protested

“Fine. Melo if you would take us to the nearest village.” the nobleman directed the private to start driving then. The two watched as the Jeep drove past the scenery. Just then, Jose decided to ask Melo some questions “Melo, when your sister said we’re special guests, what did you interperet? Because I’m going to stop beating around the bush.” Just then he pointed to Giuseppe to take the reins.

“The bush we’re beating around is that we are, or rather I am, mafioso. You ever hear about them? The cosa nostra, the mafia, commission, organized crime” blowing smoke out the window “I work for powerful peaople, and I see some promising prospects in this country of yours. Your brothels are legal, so she says, and that’s good. Also your people are poor, I’m assuming, and your in need of cash, so she says again.”

“You’re going to take us to the nicest inn/hotel this place has, we’ll check in, and then you’ll take us to the finest restaurant, where you will join us. Maybe later we’ll see the ‘night life’. Got it?” Jose explained as he undid the bottom of his cane and shook six .44 caliber bullets out, loading his revolver and placed the bottom of the cane back on.

“What’s with that cane? You walk as well as I do, you’re younger than me, what gives?”

“It’s equal parts fashion and function. You might know that there’s a certain trend in the Spanish provinces, canes and big jackets, I don’t know why but that’s how it is. I’m not going to be stupid to bring my jacket, so I brought this. And functional in that I use it to beat people.” he pointed to the top of his cane, where a solid gold fist faced forward. “It’s not for me, it’s for others.”

"Here we are!" Einuis Carol proclaimed as the nondescript vessel he was on docked, standing atop the ice platform his servants carried. While their faces were neutral & bland, one could easily sense that they were far from unhappy serving their king & that their emotionless state was likely to seem professional despite how ridiculous the four of them looked. They would certainly be a sight to behold, but their shortness meant that they would not be easily picked out in a crowd, where they would be blocked by anyone taller. Despite that, Einuis gave off a mighty, royal aura — one that could not be blocked by anything & could thus be felt by anyone nearby. Further enhancing his conspicuity was his loud, squawking voice that resembled a parrot imitating a person.

"Now then, let's see just what this place has to offer," the penguin king then pointed forward to direct his servants, the three then beginning a brisk walk off of the docks & onto the island, Einuis balancing himself perfectly atop his platform. "Oh, which reminds me," he suddenly said once he arrived on solid ground, "Do we have a guide on this place?"
"No, sir," said Cocytus, slapping a new bandage back onto her face before anyone could see whatever it was that hid beneath, "In fact, we have had no interaction with this civilization... until now. The Parfuhmerians have interacted a bit, but I believe that those were more official meetings rather than casual festivals like this."

"Hmm... whatever. We'll just have to hope we won't offend them," Einuis dismissively said, shaking his head horizontally, "Hmm... do you three see anything interesting?"

Our group paid thier share of the bill and they start walking out through the village. There were shops all around and they don’t know where to go first.

“So Annabell” Tamaki asked. “Is there anywhere that you recommend us go into first?”

"Oh please, please." She beckoned a little opening her parasol. "I'm more of your guest because you're so kind to let me tag along with you. So by all menas I think you should pick. Actually I did get this." She handed over a guide she received from shopping . "It has a pretty good outline of this village and others. It looks as though some are very restricted to outsiders so maybe best stick to Aurora Village for now."

Sojourner smiled, "thanks, and the wood will be useful too if there is none to gather".

Taking the plaque Sojourner then hands it to Kyrksen who then gave it an admiring look, "well lets get to it" he says, before thanking the woman at the camplodge.

Their tent is a mastery of packaging, unfolded onto the floor, 2 poles are then fed through it and pushed into their anchor pockets which then force the tent into its dome shape and despite its relatively large size, capable of holding 4 people and their bags, the tent is unpacked and ready to use in under 20 minutes, Kyrksen then sends Sojourner to pick up some bits of wood and some dried moss, a task that takes her about an hour which gives time to set up the fire pit, a task which on the whole is done with one hand as his cybernetic arm is good, but no real replacement for a human arm version 1.0.

"Kyrk, this is what I've got" says Sojourner.

Kyrksen smiles, "aah great" he says before starting to build the fire and showing Sojourner how to do so as he does, and so the camp fire is made and lit the old way, and it isn't long before a metal can with water in it is gently simmering away above the fire...

"Enjoy your stay, my daughter will be along in a while to ensure things are satisfaction." She bid the new guests farewell and once the little office was empty she returned to the fields to work with her husband more.

Once they were settled in a small girl was making her rounds to check on new arrivals. "Good afternoon, I'm Kagali, I'm the daughter of the keepers here. I'm just making sure everything is to your liking and if there's anything you might need?" she asked "In the meantime here is one complimentary bundle of wood for you."

At the inn, Karen listens carefully to the innkeeper, "yes we are looking to check in, booking is under the 'Hall' name" says Karen,

"now, do you want cash, travellers cheques or do you take plastic?", a normal question for most parts of the world, especially in the Aurora Confederacy where e-payments are the norm for payments, with only small transactions made by using the traditional red dinar bill, however Karen and Jason have all bases covered. "so what happened with the domestic pet laws then?" she asks

"Cash if you'll please." He requested politely. "Oh the old laws were changed. Used to be pets were absolutely forbidden but those have been relaxed since then. There are still hefty fines for people who don't clean after their pets, not that I'm concerned you won't, I've had very good experiences before."

The family was surprised of hospitality and kindess of the woman and that she was telling them about the travel and that the map's and everything would not be on extra cost,it might be because of the big buy of Yukata's and Kimono's of the family.

"Thank you for that,but we will pay the maps and the guides since we believe that it will help you,after all business is business and we always needs benefits from our sell's" says Edward related to the maps and the guides.

After that they went to get ready their yukata's and kimono's,well the kimono's for the ladies and for the night or the winter. When asuza told them about the Kitan the idea and the place was the best to stay seeing that the rest of places will be full of people.

"Great so we can request an room there then,how far it is from here and what is the cost of the stay for an week??,also the temple of the village is far away from here??" asked Jessica related to the temple in where they would pay their prayers,of course after they were dressed in the new clothes,eat something and reserve's their room in the INN.

"Oh wow" Her face went a little red being flustered by the unscrupulous generosity but as a businesswoman, who was she to argue. "Thank you so much. Well our rainy season is upon us which is our slower time of the year so we can always use a little extra at the end. The inn isn't far at all, just a short walk up the row, you really can't miss it, it's probably the second biggest here, only shy of the Capital Building and Royal Temple. As for the Great Temple, not much further but a bit more of a walk from here. 20 minutes easily. But well worth the visit. Might be a bit crowded with many coming to give their thanks to the Goddess and offerings to the clergy but " she pulled down a couple of Kimonos and Yukatas if they wished to try them on or get fitted right away. "Now given you're on a long multi island tour you also might you be interested in some rain gear for your stay here? We do get pretty heavy downpours even during our 'dry season.' We offer light quick and done ponchos or something for heavy storms. The parasols that come with kimonos are pretty good for your small shower but during gales or squalls they won't hold up much. I guess I should mention we're still in hurricane season though it's pretty unlikely you'll encounter one here, it's really the end of the season."

They start heading that way towards the shop on the corner. As they walk past the buildings. They look around and saw the people in town. Without the added vehicle traffic, the town looks busier than most Cartoon towns. They reach the shop and enter the the building

She didn't need a room, but she figured, that the rents were good, but a private solo room had sounded interesting... with them all taken, she had to bite into the sour apple and decided: "Private room for three, please, just throw three other people in as you see fit, their fees are on me."

It wasn't pleasant but beccause the village was so crowded with pedestrians it was a way to get in at a pace better than a crawl. "I don't know really much 'bout the world outside the islands. But you guys are here on some business that might be well not as looked upon by folks in Government? Don't worry secrets are safe with me and Iffy. Maybe something else I can do to help you guys out?"

Tess was dressed in the green yukata and Jessica was with the pink one.

"So how we look,beautiful right??" asked his wife with an cute expression that made his husband blush completely.

"Y-yeah you two look beautiful,I guess that is my turn now excuse me" he said leaving to dress himself with his yukata.

"So we put well the yukatas??" asks Tess to Asuza.

Coming to the little corner shop it was like a small gallery. There sat a young lady at a blank canvas cleaning off paint brushes of her own. "Oh welcome." She greeted her new guests. "You're all just in time if you'd like to watch a live art demonstration, I'm happy to paint for you. Otherwise if you just want to walk about and see or buy something feel free. My name is Himiko I'm the artist here. My wife will be out in a moment, I'm going to paint her. If you want to watch that is."

"I don't mind." called her wife, Kon as she emerged wearing a loose robe that she was ready to strip off in a moment. "My wife is a great artist and she has a real talent for painting."

"Aaah you flatter me so" she blushed

"A live painting sounds really great. Any fee to watch?" Annabell asked

"Not at all, completely free. I'm thrilled to demonstrate. And if you wish to purchase or just make a small donation, that'd be great or I can appreciate some honest criticism."

"Well do you want to watch with me?" Annabell asked her fellow travelers.

The question was a tough one, Azusa didn't think they'd have enough to accommodate every tourist especially if they were so clustered in the islands. "Well to be honest, I can't be sure of that. But I do want to say, big storms are often foretasted pretty well in advanced that you'd have time to bail if needed." Once the ladies emerged on in their yukatas they were perfect fits "Aaah beautiful I must say!" Azusa complimented. "Stunning you both look great. Looks like they're really well adjusted to your sizes too, I probably won't need to make any modifications unless you need them." she picked out a few matching accessories for them to look at.

Still, she was really starting to regret her openness about the climate but she was an honest person and wanted to make sure visitors were ready for AHSCA's climate.
