NWFnews 24 is the official News network by NWFNetwork. The channel broadcasts in the official languages of New Wolvers (English, Czech, Spanish, Italian) as well as in French, Polish, Hungarian and Daunlandic.

Based in Jurkiewicz Rd. in Berta City, almost near the capital city, the network was founded in 1975 along with with the news network. It is aimed at a worldwide market via satellite and cable operators, but since 1984, NWFNews 24 broadcasts via radio at 102.5 FM and via mobile with the NWFapp.

Despite belonging by the private NWF network, it acts as the country's official news channel.

Car Accident Becomes Tragedy

A military truck containing experimental equipment lost control today at the Neo Wolverian-Daunlandic Border near Giovannino, Nuova Udine, Yugo State.
The truck, at 12:05PM, was transporting military equipment which was deemed explosive when in a few kilometers outside New Wolvers the truck crashed into a tanker truck transporting kerosene, causing a chain reaction of burned cars and explosions.

At least 30 people between tourists and workers died, 144 were injured. 3 privates from the "Keepers" regiment were reported dead.

The accident caused traffic to spike and the Federal Carbineer Troopers to redirect the traffic to another road. The governor of Yugo State has closed the highway which connects Nuova Udine with the closest province of Daunland.

The current President, Mark Romagnoli, commented "I express my condolences to the families who lost their dear ones, this is a tragedy that could've been avoided, and we are gonna make sure such accidents do not happen again."

The current in-charge FCT inspector of Yugo state, Federico Biondelli, is currently investigating the causes of the crash. There are suspects that the truck, an IVECO ACP, has lost control due to missed controls, and the causes are to direct to a lack of maintenance. However, it could even be that the brakes malfunctioned during the transport, causing the collision against the tanker truck.

The highway will stay close from 20/10/2018 to 02/11/2018. Damages are calculated to be over 4 million utopias.

Military Funeral For The Victims Of the NWDL12

After Yesterday's crash in the NWDL12 Highway, involving a military truck containing explosive military hardware and a tanker truck that caused a chain reaction of explosions and burned cars a few kilometers after the Daunlandic border, today at 8:30 AM the funerals of three of the Liberation Wolves' 55th "Keepers" Regiment, the Border Patrol regiment unit that controls the borders of the nation, were attended by 12,000 people, the families of the victims of the crash and the whole Neo Wolverian Government, President included.

The three soldiers that died in the car crash were 1st Lt. Paul Olivetti, 38 years old, Sgt. Maya Kelly Shelby, 29 years old and Pvt. Hilda Konig, 24 years old; the three soldiers were inside the truck that collided, with Pvt. Konig driving, reports confirm.

We report the speech that the President gave during the funerals, directioned to the families of the victims of the car crash.
"In the painful of days, we got to be strong. I know of people who wish to be as tough as the werewolves of New Wolvers, but they do not know the pain that not even a werewolf can handle is the loss of people. The death of someone dear to you. You can be an AI as well as you can be a six feet tall werewolf and be tough as a tank, but the loss of someone you hold dear... Is something you are are always vulnerable. This tragedy could have been avoided. And I promise, to all the citizens, I'll bring safety, to be sure such accidents as the one that happened today won't happen again. We are Neo Wolverians. Not simple people. Not only werewolves. Not only AI citizens. We are a lot of population, a well mixed society, a society that holds close to each other. So, let's embrace and be strong. We have a future to look upon."

After the speech, the President promised to the families of the victims to be compensated for the loss, and the soldiers who helped during the accident will be given a reward for their duty.

The funeral ended at 2:20 PM.

BAR BRAWL ENDS UP IN TOTAL WAR

What was gonna be a nice, good hangout with friends turned out to be the worst chaotic nightmare for 45 people.

A bar brawl started at "L'Irlandese Caduto" pub yesterday in Nova Prividenska, Slaskie hrad, New Veronika after a group of people began to speak frantically.

Witnesses say that the two group of people, composed each by six people, were talking about a hunt gone wrong, blaming each other groups for the loss of the game and for the injure of one of the members.

After a heated discussion, one of the people started to punch another customer by anger, who in retalliation started to punch a member of one of the two groups.

At that point the gang started to severely harm the customer who retalliated back, and at that point the entire staff of the bar and other customers intervened, causing a chain reaction of people trying to stop the tiny war that was going on inside the pub.

Initially the police was called, but after seeing how the problem degenerated, the FCT has to be called to intervene.

At arrival of the FCT, everyone was still brawling, and a gas grenade had to be used to get all the people out and stop the war.

So far, of the 45 people involved, 20 got arrested, 12 got released and 3 are still under justice.

BUS DEPOT BURNING IN THE NIGHT

Today the beacon of Fuego was lit in Pyre. But it was not a call for emergency invasion.

The bus depot located in Villaje de la Razon, Fuego, Pyre state has burned down tonight at 2:37 AM, destroying the city buses parked inside the depot.

Inhabitants nearby noticed around 2:15 AM smoke to get out of the building, followed by a loud explosion at 2:22 AM waking up almost all the people in the nearby apartment block.

Is unclear how the incident happened, but is suspected that one of the buses parked inside was already faulty and needed repairations.

at 2:44 AM the FCT arrived on the place, along with the firefighers and the paramedics in case of injured people inside. The nearby buildings were evacuated to ensure safety amongst citizens and avoid a widespread of the fire.

At 3:55 AM the fire was extinguished and the people were allowed to return back to their living quarters.

Investigations are still open to claim what cause the accident. Damages amount to 11,298,172 Utopias

BODIES IN THE WATER RECOGNIZED

A hunting game session has been interrupted by a grim discovery.

The bodies of two female werewolves, Cristina Peveri and Mary Liberatore, were found yesterday in the west bank of the Barella river. The bodies were reported having been burned and being headless, with their heads being thrown away.

The group of people who found the bodies, five werewolves from the Lucebianca pack, claim to have found the bodies while hunting, noticing something strange in the air as well as noticing white bags nearly floating in the water.

Upon catching the two bags, the pack opened the sack to reveal the burned bodies of two girls of the respective ages of 19 and 23. A few minutes later the Carbineer Troopers were contacted to report the finding.

One hour later, the heads of the victims were found buried in the ground.

The Federal Carbineers are investigating to discover what happened to the two girls and who killed them, while the families of the two victims were warned about the discovery.

"We hope to catch the killer as soon as possible, before anyone else gets hurt or - worse - dies", current in-charge FCT inspector Anselmo Anemici declares.

MILITARY EQUIPMENT STOLEN, BUT THE CADETS JUST FORGOT WHERE WERE THEY LOCATED

What would have been a dangerous situation turned out to be something more local today, when an alarm at Fort Bystract was launched upon the discovery of missing 8 helmets, 21 Liberty Wolves' uniforms, 21 guns and a total of 3718 bullets.

The alarm was launched by a private who, upon opening the armory, found the equipment to be missing from their storage containers.

The region of Switzerberg, New Veronika, was ready to be on a lockdown to track down who stole the equipment, until it was later found that the whole "stolen" equipment was stashed in another armory nearby.

Upon discovery, the private was reported to say to the superior that they were an idiot as they completely forgot they placed the whole equipment in the other armory, effectively triggering a false alarm and wasting resources for an amount of 67,000 Utopias.

Two hours later, the private was punished for launching a useless false alarm.

HEAVY RAIN DESTROYS TOWN

Yesterday the whole town of Santa Maya of Rodiesa has been trapped by the water that the thunderstorm brought in the whole state of Yugo.

The FCT has been rescuing the inhabitants since yesterday night, even if victims are still present.

The town has been declared an hazardous environment today at 8.11 AM and the inhabitants are being given a shelter.

BUS DRIVER LOSES CONTROL OF VEHICLE: 15 DEAD

Today at 6 AM a bus driver lost control of the vehicle, a FAK Venture Coach 7200 by VPS Transport, while transporting a total of 45 people inside the bus.

Witnesses say that the bus driver tried to stop the vehicle before colliding, only result in nothing.

Five minutes later, the truck went to the other side of the road and collided onto an IVECO Stralis that carried goods, thus resulting in a severe impact that killed the bus driver in the place, before rotating to itself and crashing the roof of the bus.

Emergency services were called soon after a driver saw the accident, and ambulances were deployed.

The FCT is currently investigating the dynamics.

Today the new parliament building has been completed. After seven months of work, the new parliament will host the current government and gather into discussion about laws and government policies.

The old parliament building will be coinverted into private properties and affordable apartments.

The president has commented the new building as a "homage to our old homecountry, as we are still european at heart".

THE BIG HEIST GONE WRONG: GANG OF 10 PEOPLE ARRESTED

For ten people was going to be a dream come true, until they were stopped by the Bureau of Riskful Situations during what was going to be probably the biggest bank heist in history of New Wolvers.

A gang of 10 people has been stopped from robbing the Nova Veronika Spořicí Banka this morning, after the alarm went on and after numerous reports of gunshots from an assault rifle and an explosion.

At 9 AM, two members of the gang entered with a briefcase containing C4 explosive pretending to be businessmen, until 10 minutes later the rest of the gang entered wearing masks from various videogame characters and balaclavas, with the gang members holding weapons such as Kalashnikovs, SPAS shotguns, Desert Eagles and Uzi-10 portable gun.

The alarm went on ten minutes later the explosion, with the Federal Carbineers Troopers involved at first to answer to the heist. Apparently the heist was way bigger and more dangerous than usual.

The Bureau of Riskful Situations had to be dispatched in order to disarm the situation and neutralize the heist, causing a shooting to happen in the central hall of the bank between the agents and the heistmen.

At 1:19 PM, the situation was declared clear, with 6 members surrendering, 2 getting arrested and disarmed, 1 surrendering once the police came and the rest being wounded and arrested.

There has been no victim in this heist, but people is demanding more efficient security in banks, and more restrictive gun laws as well as checkpoints in city centres.

The bank however, is not without scandals: it has been reported that Nova Veronika Spořicí Banka had to cut budget on security following missing credits, which the FCT is currently investigating.

IS OFFICIAL: EUROPEAN UNION TO BECOME A FEDERATION OF STATES

"This is a day to remember, fellow citizens, as today, an European era starts in what is our homes, and in the best way possible."
Those are the words that luxembourgish Jean-Claude Junker said on TV in what now are the European citizens. A dream that intellectuals like Altiero Spinelli wanted to see realized has become reality today after the latest approval of the European Constitution, which exstabilishes the army, territorial subdivisions (which are to be maintained by the ex nations), economy (countries previously using currencies not related to the Euro such as Hungary, Poland and Czechia will have to switch at a favorable rate) and borders.

The new nation is estimated to start its government on date October 5th, 2018, just the time to reorganize the place as it is now a sovereign nation.

The European Nation has estabilished to maintain for the next five years a policy of neutrality on both the United States of America and the Russian Federation, even if talks about switching territories between Russia and the EuroNat are on the run to include the oblast of Kalinigrad, previously known as Konigsberg, as an autonomous region of the EuroNat.

Swizterland has been asking to join the EuroNat, following the major spy scandal and after being discovered to have been, despite claims of neutrality, involved into plans to invade the Territories of Varese, Busingen Auf Mein and to help the Russian Federation into seizing data banks from Social Networks to meddle with the elections.

As for New Wolvers, the EuroNat has decided to accept New Wolvers as part of the "Protectorate Program", in order to continue the already-estabilished agreements between New Wolvers and what was formerly known as the European Union.

After a decade of denials and neutrality from the then-known European Union, today Switzerland has joined as a state of the European Federated Nation, being the 29th after Scotland and Montenegro.

With a vote of 67% of yes, Switzerland joined as the last EuroNat member, putting an end to a century of supposed neutrality, discovered to be false by an investigation of the Europol after informations about the main EU politicians were stolen in Italy two years prior.

The state of Switzerland, formerly known as Confederatio Helvetica, has been accused to have helped the Russian Federation over the period of 1999-2016, gathering informations of relevant politicians of the European Union and the Country of Interests such as Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Bosnia|Herzegovina, being unsuspected under the guise of neutrality.

Since the accusations were proven true, the trust in Switzerland collapsed, exposing itself onto issues and a decision to take: either being an enemy of the EuroNat, with a bigger army and better equipment, or being part of the EuroNat.

Today the answer arrived, and the capital of Bruxelles is happy to aknowledge that Bern has become part of the EuroNat.

The president of the EuroNat, Giuseppe Mezzadri, has expressed happiness, stating that the swiss army will become part of the EuroNat, and granting autonomy about conscription.

The Bernese government has stated that they are starting to issue Euro banknotes instead of the swiss franc banknotes, but the latter will not cease to exist entirely.

NEW WOLVERS JOINS NATO

Is an historical moment for New Wolvers today, as they rejected the pledge of neutrality following the EURONAT's accession to NATO.

President Mark Romagnoli today signed up a treaty with all the member states of the EURONAT about joining NATO, thing that was considered by the president but, in his own words, "was hard to achieve when alone".

The Nation of New Wolvers was offered to join NATO when it was created, but preferred to align with Switzerland and be neutral to the Cold War that was happening. After the Cold War ended, there were voices and manifestations about joining NATO, but that was ignored for long until today.

Hopefully, we can stay united, safe and protected.

After two years of discussions and a failed referendum about independency or inglobation to the nearby nation given the nature of the territory, the Enclave City Council has declared that Enclave City (Or Enklave Misto in New Veronikan Czech) will be officially renamed into St. Veronika City (Sentveronika Misto in New Veronikan Czech) following a third referendum last month.

"The people living in the enclave of St. Veronika City were happy to hear that the region will change its name back to the original name it had before World War I" said Region Governor Rainier Joshua Bartusek on the referendum: -"The St. Veronikans were confused looking at the papers issued in the region, which differs from the mainland New Wolvers as it is bordered by another country, to read two different names in both czech and [DATA EXPUNGED], given the czech document referred to the territory as Enklave Misto and the [DATA EXPUNGED] document referred to the territory as Szuntvaronicae Maesto, and gave confusions about good deliveries as well. And let's not talk about the border patrols being confused about where a St. Veronikan is from in reality."

St. Veronika City Region, for those who are not familiar, is the enclaved region of New Wolvers in [DATA EXPUNGED] nation, a territory that decided to stay part of New Wolvers following the 1843 referendum in the nearby territories of Lausszandra, Poliszszar and Pescu. The enclave follows the customs of [DATA EXPUNGED], however keeping the Neo Wolverian Government, laws and bilingual documents. The enclave renamed itself into Enclave City following the results in 1843, being in need of an identity and a clear border identity to not to be identified as part of [DATA EXPUNGED], and since the referendum, the tiny region contains the city of St. Veronika, Honza Blaha village, Poliszsza West, Kolimavora village and Szabonia village.

The disaster of Refugee Bay: War between clans ends in tragedy

Refugee bay, New Wolvers

Violent clash of clans are happening in Refugee Bay, starring the MacAllison clan and the Van Der Linde clan, two vampiric clans of the city.

The two families were arguing over the past 200 years over the now-deceased king of New Wolvers, whetever it was legitimate or not that the nation became a republic.

The Van Der Linde clan has supported the republic since its proclamation, while the MacAllison always refuted and never recognized the republic itself, but since now no illegal activities were done.

However, a war in the following two years between the two clans have turned into tragedy today after both clans met in the city hall, equipped with illegal weapons and barring the road for commercial routes and people living in the city, requiring the aid of both the FCT and the LW Army to stop and arrest the surviving clan members. The citizens were evacuated while the clash was happening, with the only fatalities being on the clan members themselves.

Of the 320 people who were in the clash, 152 people were killed by unconventional means, and 76 were injured, while the weaponry ranged from bowie knives to shotguns.

The surviving clan members were arrested by the LW army and will be taken to court following the crimes of owning military-grade weaponry, unmotivated violence and paramilitary activities.

Members who didn't joined were not arrested.

The governor of Hale's Republic resigned today after major investigation case rose after the Lime scandal.
Governor of Hale's Autonomous Republic William Redmond Palmerston announced today his resignation following the investigation and the scandal, involving wiretapping the foreign embassies located in the Mann Family District, obstructionism of justice and misuse of government money.
Majority of the money were appaently used by the Governor to play in online casinos and in rave parties with members of the Marinotti Mafia, which members were arrested three months ago following a raid conducted by the Bureau of Riskful Actions.
The new Governor of Hale's Autonomous Republic until the next general elections will be Leonard Jeremy Scouterron, who will vow tomorrow to be the new governor.

Werewolf Nations: what will change?

Ever since the constitutional update was approved, a law was added that recognized seven territories nominated "Werewolf Nations": what will it mean for the average Neo Wolverian?
In short? Nothing, it has been stated that the Werewolf Nations are territories of various clans and packs sharing a similar culture, and will not change anything for the average Neo Wolverian, however some things have been stated to change.
As the constitution states, the Werewolf Nations do have assigned territories that are bound to change, more alike to territories of various clans and packs, however, they legally will not enforce any law to any non-citizen or any city or town not adhering to the assigned territory.
What will it mean to the average Neo Wolverian werewolf inhabitants and adhering towns and cities however? A lot of things, as it will effectively recognize the cultures of the various Werewolf Nations in all the territories. Adhering town, villages, cities and territories will be given funds, and forest territories will be given the status of hunting grounds on condition that no humanoid or sentient person be hunted.

In addition, the various representatives of the Werewolf Nations will meet once every full moon to discuss any change in territories, and any emergency meeting will be held in case of extreme emergency.

So, citizens of New Wolvers, rejoice: no change has been made for the average joe, but a lot of things changed for those who were pushing for the recognition of the Werewolf Nations.
