Acknowleding the efforts made by the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators (herein the Confederation) in creating the most populous collective of fascist nations in the world;

Believing that the Security Council has the responsibility to recoginise contributions of regions founded on less conventional systems of government;

Applauding the great contributions made to the fascist community by the Confederation, in particular the efforts of the Supreme Council led by the regional founder, Jocospor;

Noting that the Confederation is an old region with a very rich history, which has recently seen immense growth and now ranks among the most populous regions in the world;

Admiring the great contributions of the Confederation to the World Assembly; in particular, by encouraging less-prominent factions within both the General Assembly and Security Council not to be misled by influental magnates;

Recognising that the Confederation has exercised its international power to promote the spread of fascism and dictatorial governance throughout the world, and in doing so has provided a new home for many hundreds of like-minded nations;

Hereby commends the Confederation of Corrupt Dictators.

This region, like so many others, has done nothing to be commended. Fascists don't deserve anything but being driven out of their homes. Fascist nations have every right to exist, and fascist regions have every right to be commended based on their contributions to NationStates, not on your personal political opinion.

In all seriousness, yes, I am very aware they are different. That doesn't mean that proposals passed in one section of the World Assembly have no relevance to the other, nor does it mean that your personal political beliefs supersede GA#2, probably the most important World Assembly resolution ever passed.

Correction: the sc has shown time after time of it's dislike for fascists and nazi's. Doing some research before you respond would be nice.

Rarely does the SC pass resolutions commending Fascist or Communist regions. The few times that has happened was due to the region being of great value to the broad WA community, or have been significant to NS history. This region does not match either.

I don't know if all this belligerence towards the World Assembly community is necessarily a good idea considering these are the people you will need on your side to get this passed - things like minimising the importance of drafting in a theatrical sort of way and showing no concern about this basically being a self-commendation (which is essentially an automatic no just on the principle of the thing) aren't going to go down well. I'd advise being more subtle and open in your approach if you want people to like you - which is basically what a commendation is, unless you meant to submit this as a condemnation?

Alright, since you seem not to be aware of it yourself, i'm just gonna go ahead and point out that regions generally are commended not for ideology but for activity and good communities (Or defenders, they get commended quite often too). So your arguement here is invalid, as Kuri didn't say those regions should be necessarily commended. And then you proceed to say it will pass even tho the sc overall is made up of decent humans, thus they dislike fascism. And aside from that, nothing else is commendable either.
