A few notes:
Sousundowa has 31 different forms, each with a different specialty for cooking & personality. The main Doll body changes forms based on the emotions felt by those nearby, but Sousundowa can manifest all of them or some of them. In either case, Sousundowa's main Doll* body will always take the form of Immature Sweetness & will no longer change, whereas the others will be kept solid through magical means & will be empowered instead based on the emotions of those nearby. When multiple forms are present, they take damage distinct from one another & will be reabsorbed into the main Doll body if they take too much damage, after which they must take anywhere from two days to a day to recover (in the world of Psytronius, this would normally only take a few hours, but incompatible magical energy means that Sousundowa must use his own magical energy rather than absorbing it from nearby).

*Dolls are magical androids given sapience through the presence of a hermetically-bound soul inside of the vessel that will be difficult to remove. Although they have a mana battery where their heart would be, the total destruction of it is hardly worrying as they can still absorb magical energy from the nearby environment, although their actions & spellcasting will be greatly reduced in efficiency. If they are unable to absorb energy, Dolls will enter a torpor state where they will be unable to do anything. Like golems, Dolls do not feel the discomfort of pain & only detect it.

If Sousundowa's main Doll body takes enough damage, Psytronius will attempt to retrieve them via portal (they continually monitor their Domeses' damage), after which they will no longer be participating in this roleplay as the Psytrines will not want to risk them. After that, there may or may not be another Domeses joining. In the event Sousundowa or another Psytrine is captured, expect several other Psytrines & a Parfuhmerian assassin to attempt to rescue them.


How about we say that Psytronius is pulled through due to some unstable magic activities from the Orcs? Since this roleplay might affect the canon of a few players (if they choose it to), I can't say that everyone will be comfortable with the existence of multi-verses where nations can travel at will. Therefore, it might be easier to say that your guys turn up because of some magical shenanigans that make it so.

How does that sound?

On paper I'm not against this, although I see a potential plot hole in the sense of how you would've been able to supply the Orcs without us knowing well beforehand and having stopped you before you did so.




I apologise for my lack of response to this as of late. I'm currently still working on updating the OP with more to do on the Orcs, Warmaster, and some general ground rules for the thread.

However, it is unlikely that anything will be finished until after the 22nd August at the earliest, or after 8th September at the latest. This is because I'm in the midst of wrapping up my summer work up until the former date, and planning and carrying out moving homes up until the latter date. Therefore, I ask that you be patient: there is no rush for this roleplay, and there's still a lot to sort out before it goes ahead. I will still be around on NationStates so I can answer any questions and ideas you have either here in the thread or via telegram, but bare in mind I might take a few days to respond.

Whenever I have the time I will endeavour to update the OP and dump all the worldbuilding I've been doing for the roleplay for your consumption and thoughts, but as I said, it's highly unlikely to happen before the 8th September at the latest.

Perhaps one of the orcish tribes could have human agents which trade with Velstrania? Velstrania, and the GVH as a whole, will be happy to sell stuff to literally anybody with the money, and the central government in Iros is completely incapable of actually controlling its provinces. Velstrania would, idologicly, support the orcs due to their warped view of 'freedom,' and very bad relations with nations that they see as 'manifestations of the tyrant.'

That's sound, but what I'm saying is that I don't see how you would be able to easily supply the Orcs since we Goths are pretty tight on shipping and air control, so we'd quickly be aware of what was going on if the supply was going through official means.

It could be, however, that the weapons are being smuggled in at great risk. Eventually it's uncovered and repercussions are brought against Velstrania, playing into this Civil War you mentioned?

That could work, but by "pulled through", do you mean someone/the whole city gets forcibly sucked into the Gholgoth universe, or do you envision that some sort of anomaly appears near them & they decide to willingly investigate it? Also, how easy will it be for them to return after their time there?

Say, would these guys have any affiliation to your characters in the ASP roleplay? If yes, there might be even more conflict between the Psytrines & them, depending on how it goes.

I was thinking an anomaly pulls through the characters either willingly or unwillingly. As for getting them back, once the main foe is defeated I'm sure they can team up with our own magic-users to figure out a way to get them back.

Hmmk, that works. I'd imagine that it'd be more likely that they willingly enter, since Psytronius is constantly monitoring the status of all of their Domeses, so a sudden portal opening would be noticed & anyone nearby would probably be retrieved before it could suck them in. Once the anomaly closes, they'll be trying to figure out a way to unlock access to the Gholgoth universe. If someone won't want multiversal access after Sousundowa & Elijah find a way back into Psytronius, I do have an in-character excuse to say why there isn't any more interaction after that.

With this current concept, though, Psytronius will be a bit cautious of the new universe & will send both Sousundowa (who volunteers) & the Domeses of Dollmaking Elijah Phee Loew (who is there to repair any damage done to the other), plus his entourage of miniature Dolls, golems, & other such artificial lifeforms.

For the record, I have no issue with the existence of multiverses as I RP with a multiversal head-canon in mind (hmmm, redundant?), but I do think it is important that we make the considerations due of those who do not. Fwiw, I like Shwe's idea in general, and I think Kyle's solution works well enough.

When it comes to Velstrania/GVH supporting the Orcs, I have a slight issue with this being a thing before the events of the RP, but because of this RP's nature things are a bit flexible. However, I think it would be much much more interesting if we used the Auxilia handwave that we're using for most other outsiders to insert Velstranians who might be disgruntled for whatever reason with their Kylarnatian superiors. Maybe they're interested in making their way back home with some extra glory and making some extra monies in the process by setting up some sort of middle man relationship between themselves, Velstrania-proper, and the Orcs? And this is how we get to Velstrania supplying the Orcs in the first place.

Apologies. It is still very much intended to be a thing, but unfortunately my move took a bit longer than expected. With also having started a Masters, my time - while more flexible because I'm doing a research-led course - is going to be limited. In all honesty I may have jumped the gun on this idea way too eagerly.

I do intend to come back to this idea when I have time (hopefully within the next week actually, if the awful flu I'm having can clear away), but it will likely be some time before we get to the actual roleplay, mostly because there are other projects in Gholgoth going on right now that demand more attention.
