Tashkent Heavy Industries (Russian: Ташкентская Тяжёлая Промышленность, Turkish: Taşkent Ağır Sanayileri) is a Turkic state-owned corporation based in Tashkent, Tashkent Region, Uzbek Republic, Turkic Republic. We produce a variety of military and civilian products, from the latest advanced fighter jet to the best cars in Turkestan. Leadership
CEO - Azamat Sultanov
Azamat Sultanov, 66 is our CEO. He was born in 1952, in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union. After leaving education, he was employed as a factory worker in one of the many factories of Tashkent. After the fall of the Soviet Union, conflict sparked in unstable Central Asia, and the Uzbek Army required Tashkent Heavy Industries, where Sultanov was working, to drastically increase production. During this challenging period, Sultanov was recognised as a great leader, and the company decided to put him on the board. In 2002, after the retirement of the previous CEO, Sultanov was promoted to the role of CEO of Tashkent Heavy Industries. During his time as CEO, the profitability of the company has increased, as well as the quality of its products.
Sultanov is married to Maria, a retired teacher, and has two adult children. During his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, and painting. He lives in Tashkent. Sultanov speaks Uzbek, Russian, Turkish and Chinese fluently.
