To establish an embassy or legation or consulate or other mission, or to send a diplomatic, please provide letters of credence, proposal or introduction, as the case may be, and fill and submit the two forms below for my benefit.
I strongly advise that applications for heads of mission include letters of credence to His Majesty the King for ambassadours, ministers or envoys; letters of introduction to the Clerk of State for Foreign Affairs for charge d’affaires; and letters of nomination to the Clerk of State for Foreign Affairs for consuls. Otherwise, your application may be ignored. Note that generally letters of credence, commission or introduction will not be answered in kind.

It is a requirement of law and custom that all diplomatic officers must present their letters to His Erbonian Majesty the King before they will be accorded any diplomatic status or rank in Great Nortend. This ceremony is usually conducted at the Castle of Lerdenstone in Lendert-with-Cadell. All diplomatic officers must wear appropriate diplomatic court uniform to this ceremony, and all other state occasions the which they may attend. There is an annual state Diplomatic Reception and Ball, as well as various other state and social occasions where diplomats may be invited to attend.
Missions of foreign Princes and Powers accorded to His Erbonian Majesty’s Court at St Michael’sgate in Lendert-with-Cadell are shewn below. A map of Lendert-with-Cadell is also given.
His Erbonian Majesty’s missions accorded to the courts of foreign Princes, Powers and States are shewn below.
Any person who is not of the His Majesty's subjects, excluding ambassadours and ministers, sovereigns and immediate members of recognised royal families, must apply for a charta-visa before entering Great Nortend. Chartae-visae must be applied for before entering Great Nortend, and is available in two main forms: leave to enter and leave to stay. Leave to enter is the form of charta-visa required to enter Great Nortend temporarily. It is granted for a certain number of days and for a certain number of entries. Leave to stay is the form for those intending to reside in Great Nortend for the forseeable future as a resident alien rather than as a petit subject. Any applicant must demonstrate his eligibility and may be refused leave on any grounds.
