Passenger Jet Crashes

Empire Airways Flight 627 crash landed in Seplan International yesterday. The Boeing 777-200ER took off from Paris, France, and was carrying 307 passengers. 5 passengers have died so far, 4 at the scene and 1 on the way to the hospital. 192 individuals are injured, 45 of them seriously and 4 of those are in critical condition. The names and genders of those killed have not been released and the reason for the crash is still under investigation. This is the worst aviation disaster in Empire Airways history. Update of EA Flight 627 crash

On 23 July 2018, Empire Airways Flight 627, a Boeing 777-200ER, crash landed at Seplan International Airport at 12:37 P.M. KST. The aircraft took off from Paris, France, and was carrying 307 passengers. The number of dead has increased to 6. 4 died at the scene, 1 on the way to the hospital, and 1 died later in the hospital. The rest of the critically injured have stabilized and are expected to recover. In total 191 individuals have been injured. Listed below are the people that have died:

• François De Villiers - age 26 - French - Male
• Renée Jaccoud - age 31 - French - Female
• Nicole Everson - age 18 - Krainian - Female
• Lewis Hawkins - age 58 - British - Male

Today's Gospel Reading speaks of two things: how the Divinity of Our Lord is a Light that simply does not fade from this mortal world, and how the Gift of Salvation is not limited to a chosen few, but available to all peoples from all walks of life. Here, Christ points out the impropriety of allocating food intended for one's children to one's animals, an allusion to how Salvation was understood as something belonging only to a chosen few. Almost as if understanding the implications, the Greek mother--understood to be outside this chosen few--replied that even one's animals will feed on what is left by one's children; in other words, even a small glimpse of the Light of Salvation shines upon those outside this chosen few; in such a case, why deny the outsider the chance to bathe in that Light?

On an unrelated note, I would like to commend the Setsuzoku Administration (@setzadmin) for the new update, although the location format could use some work; perhaps some contrast should be applied to the location name?

@carlostobon: Oh, best of luck! With the Ruvian Soccer League's season all wrapped up, I'm a bit sports starved at the moment. Maybe I'll check out the tournament to see if I can get into some international soccer action (or football, as many prefer to say it.) Kinda wanna try and work against the stereotype that drailens have no interest in the standard version of the game. haha. Ru's not in it this year so I'll need to find a new rooting interest. Perhaps Carloso will do?
