Card Trading Is Coming Soon, Your Thoughts?

Hey, so as we all know, card trading is coming back soon and is currently in the works.
I was just wondering what everyone’s thoughts were about this up and coming aspect of Nationstates.
I would like to hear people’s opinion of the new features, given the information that we’ve received in news updates. Discuss anything regarding if you’re looking forward to cards, your opinion on the mechanics of trading, if you think it will work in a gameplay sense, or even give ideas as to what it could be like.
Anything regarding the Cards feature is open for discussion, all nations of all types are welcome, please tell me your thoughts.

At this rate, I'd be surprised if NationStates' April Fools 2019 joke isn't a false claim that they have something new in the works when they've only gone and done NationCards mk2... which I always fancied as more of a potential Christmastime thing.

I am personally not bothered about cards, however given the popularity of them, I think they should continue because people were obviously enjoying them.

It would be interesting to see the metagame evolve even further.

I think that the cards pictures should remain the same after being obtained. The cards pictures can update in general but ones already in circulation should keep their appearance. This could even add a new depth to the game with multiple versions of the same card available while keeping people's collections of specific card pictures intact. I've lost like half my anime card collection because of this card picture updating.
