It is not necessary to delve very deeply into the reasoning and purpose as to why the Great Nortan Railway Tour was conceived and organised, however it is sufficient to say that the Board of Trade, on the personal recommendation of the patron of the Board of Touring, Her Royal Highness, Susanna, the Princess Royal, thought it a good enough idea as to give funds so as to enable the Board of Touring to plan and co-ordinate the entire venture for the benefit of Nortan tourism.
Young ladies and gentlemen from favourable nations are invited to participate in this great tour of six days, which will encompass the sights, sounds and scenes of all across Great Nortend. A full itinerary is published below. No chaperones, nurses or other guardians are permitted, and the Board expects that tourists will be capable of living on their own for less than a week. The minimum age is seventeen and the recommended maximum 24.
The price of the tour is relatively highly oeconomical, being only eight pounds ten shillings for the entire tour's accommodation, set dining, admission fees and more, not including any spending money for dress, souvenirs, tips, stamps and other sundry costs which must be paid out of the individual's own spending money, or the price of obtaining leave to enter from the Home Department. Invoices will be posted after the tour to home addresses. Unfortunately, no wheel-chairs or bath-chairs can be accommodated on this tour.
Small electronic machines such as mobile telephones and photographic cameras are permitted, and can be re-charged with the appropriate adapters, though there is no mobile telephonic reception. Larger electronic machines such as laptop computers may not be brought into the country.
