Race Name: Enforcers

World of Origin: Planet Alcyoneus 9C0C

Territories: Most Enforcers are located on the planet of Alcyoneus 9C0C, which itself is located in the distant NG-344 Galaxy. A select few (two, namely) are located elsewhere, including in the Milky Way galaxy.

Race Appearance: An Enforcer's shape an appearance is usually dependent on the unit's preference and programming. Some units will have a much more militaristic and sharp appearance while others will be much less aggressive with a more rounded appearance. All Enforcers share a basic humanoid body shape, at least two or more appendages, and an overall shiny and chrome-like exterior of Tacitice, the versatile metal they are composed of. Eye color and vocalizer tone will distinguish individual units from one another.

Description/Lore: The Enforcers are an industrious and sentient robotic race originating from the planet of Alcyoneus 9C0C. They have maintained relative isolation due to the fact that their homeworld was located near the black hole of CW-027, unaffected by it due to its own generated pocket of subspace, making it otherwise unaffected to normal space. Despite this, the servant-class Enforcers on Alcyoneus 9C0C have maintained an exceedingly high level of technological superiority compared to their neighboring systems due to the fact that Alcyoneus itself is constantly upgrading, a seemingly living mechanical planetoid itself which sustains itself thanks to a powerful dark matter core and incredibly intelligent computer mainframe. What little that is known about the Enforcers and their history comes from the accounts of the extra-galactic race known as the Synchronous, a now extinct and powerful race of technologically-advanced, bio-mechanical beings, whose religious motives oriented around a belief that transcendence would be unlocked through centuries upon centuries of selective breeding and switft technological growth. The Synchronous, however, had steadily begun to stray away from their zealous beliefs and looked towards a more exciting one of raiding and plundering, which eventually brought them to the doorstep of Alcyoneus 9C0C, a planet within their reach. This would later turn out to be their biggest mistake.

The Synchronous' hubris eventually led to their demise when their forced entry of Alcyoneus ended in the destruction of an entire expedition fleet, after Alcyoneus produced two new warrior-class Enforcers that, after eliminating the invaders, were launched to the homeworld of the invaders themselves to quell their threat. Shockingly, only two Enforcers were needed to bring about the ultimate destruction of the Synchronous as a species, their remnants now scattered among the stars as raiding warbands or rogue fleets, while Alcyoneus itself only grew larger and more prosperous thanks to the industrious efforts of the servant-class Enforcers, the warrior-class Enforcers would continue to be sent out on their missions, evaluating and eliminating threats that Alcyoneus deemed to be significant.

Race Powers:
  • [Robot Physiology]: Enforcers require no food, water, sleep, or other forms of sustenance due to their robotic nature, and are capable of operating indefinitely thanks to powerful dark matter cores. Thanks to their armor, they can shrug off damage that would otherwise destroy tanks, effortlessly lift large objects that would otherwise necessitate the use of heavy machinery, and deal blows that can easily smash walls to pieces. Their sense of sight and hearing, in particular, are upgraded as well, with an Enforcer able to see both in the infrared and thermal spectrum and locate objects from afar. They can also survive underwater, and in a vacuum.
  • [Tacitite Armor]: Enforcers are made of Tacitite, a durable, heat-resistant alien metal found on Alcyoneus that is otherwise non-existent on the periodic table. The metal is capable of withstanding heat up to 4000 degrees Celsius, and covers the entirety of the Enforcer's body. Its versatile nature allows an Enforcer - especially a warrior-class Enforcer, to shape its body into a variety of geometric shapes or proportions, and, on occasion, stretch or compress limbs to fit the occasion. Limbs can be modified to form barrels of energy cannons or blades, or fingers, at will, and can also link with most computer systems thanks to its adaptable nature. This adaptability also allows Enforcers to adapt to incoming attacks and damage which, albeit not entirely, allows them to gain an extra advantage in terms of survivability. To compensate for its weight, many Enforcers have been shown to modify their armor into spoke-like objects, thereby improving their mobility.
  • [AI]: Due to their robotic nature, Enforcers are known to have vastly superior intelligence to other life forms; the "Mind" of a single Enforcer is comparable to that of a Supercomputer, thereby allowing it to make expert and calculated battle strategies on the fly and in half the time of a human. Their AI nature also allows them to access computer systems that they interface, taking in huge amount of information in seemingly instantaneous lengths of time. Enforcer minds are capable of coordinating with one another, with two enforcers thinking in unison able to increase their already impressive minds twofold.
  • [Dark Matter Attacks:] Enforcers by default are capable of channeling energy from their dark matter cores into devastating, explosive dark matter attacks, which increase based on the amount of energy, though costs much more energy to use depending on the power.
  • [Adaptive Weaponry:] If the above will not suffice, then the adaptive weaponry will. Similarly to how an Enforcer can adapt to incoming damage, their primary weapon may also change itself based on the foe at hand: If the enemy specializes in absorbing ballistics, then an energy-based weapon will suffice, and vice versa. Of course, this system is not without limitation, and, most of the time, the explosive Dark Matter blasts will outright destroy enemies without the need to switch weapons.

Race Limitations:
  • An Enforcer is only capable of adapting to one incoming damage type at a time, meaning that an Enforcer cannot adapt to water-based attacks and electricity-based attacks at the same time.
  • Although their dark matter cores allow them to run mostly indefinitely, Enforcers who use their cores excessively to create dark matter-based energy attacks are susceptible to "powered down" states, in which they may remain inoperable for short periods of time until they are recharged.
  • The mobility of an Enforcer can only go so far - limbs can only be stretched for about 12 feet or so, and require that some matter from somewhere else in the Enforcer's body be diverted to compensate, which may leave open spots.

Race Weaknesses:
  • [Weight]: Although quick to move and react, Enforcers are not the fastest robots out there, with Tacitite being a rather heavy metal as much as it is versatile, some Enforcers will need to go the extra mile in shapeshifting and modifying their body just to gain an advantage in speed.
  • [Single-mindedness]: Although sentient, Enforcers are usually single-minded in their tasks, sometimes stubbornly so. This means they will go to often dangerous lengths to complete their tasks.
  • [Magnets]: Metal manipulators will have a field day — Tacitite, although tough, allows Enforcers to be thrown around like toys. In addition, EMPs can easily take down an Enforcer for a short amount of time.

Name: CORE

Age: 1,048

Gender: Masculine Programming

Race: Enforcer

Appearance: See below.

Young Blood?: Nope

Bio: CORE, alongside his brother PLEX, are two new warrior-class Enforcers created from Alcyoneus 9C0C to defend from the incoming threat of the Synchronous. In other words, he and his brother are kill-bots, sent out to investigate threats located and assessed by Alcyoneus 9C0C, both close by and afar, in order to eliminate them before the threat would grow out of control. In comparison to his brother, CORE was always the more hot-headed and militaristic one even by appearance alone, programmed with a true warrior personality and penchant for violence in comparison to his brother's more reserved, calculating demeanor. He is — and has always been — the more brutal but cunning out of the two.

CORE showed no mercy to the Synchronous when they invaded their homeworld, bringing about the destruction of the Synchronous in the process of razing the world and putting it into Alcyoneus' position. He and his brother both grew in power and intelligence, with CORE personally absorbing many of the Synchronous in order to progress his strength to the next level. Only recently did the two discover Earth, a backwater planet in an otherwise uninteresting part of the Military galaxy, though with an exceedingly high threat level according to Alcyoneus for unknown reasons...

Powers:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: CORE has all of the powers and abilities mentioned in the application for the Enforcers.
  • [Threat Absorption Device, Internal]: CORE's size and shape allows him to seemingly consume most humanoid-shaped smaller objects and beings, namely to increase his maximum power output, via a device located in his chest cavity. This internal device is capable of siphoning the energy of living beings or the power from non-living beings, converting it into energy usable by CORE for later. Conversely, if CORE were to use this on an energy-based attack like an energy blast, this would mean the energy from the inbound attack could be captured and converted into usable energy by CORE, provided it doesn't damage him during the process.

Limitations:
  • Standard Enforcer Limitations
  • CORE's energy absorption power can only siphon the energy from living and powered beings, and can only absorb inbound energy attacks before they hit and if they're small enough.

Weaknesses:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: As an Enforcer, CORE carries all of the weaknesses shared by all Enforcers, namely being poor mobility, susceptibility to magnets and EMPs.

Name: PLEX

Age: 1,048

Gender: Masculine Programming

Race: Enforcer

Appearance: See below.

Young Blood?: Nope

Bio: PLEX, alongside his brother CORE, are two new warrior-class Enforcers created from Alcyoneus 9C0C to defend from the incoming threat of the Synchronous. In other words, he and his brother are kill-bots, sent out to investigate threats located and assessed by Alcyoneus 9C0C, both close by and afar, in order to eliminate them before the threat would grow out of control. In comparison to his brother, PLEX was always the more reserved and calculated one, often being more inquisitive and focused on asking questions than he was focused on actively trying to rip the arms off his opponent. Some might say that he was a regular warrior-class Enforcer that was simply updated to serve the role as a warrior, but this is not true at all. In fact, Plex is the more cunning but brutal version of his brother, more likely to rip the arms off of the enemy and beat them to death with them than he is to simply punch a hole in them, like his brother would.

PLEX and his brother showed no mercy to the Synchronous when they invaded their homeworld, bringing about the destruction of the technologically advanced race in the process of their invasion. They later razed the world of life and put it into position for Alcyoneus to simply devour the planet. He and his brother both grew in power and intelligence, with PLEX gaining deep knowledge on multiple different species that the twins fought and defeated. Recently, their spacecraft entered the otherwise uninteresting Sol system on approach to the planet of Earth, a backwater world with a seemingly ridiculously high threat level, according to Alcyoneus. PLEX could only wonder was to why such a world carried such a massive threat level to it...

Powers:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: PLEX has all of the powers and abilities mentioned in the application for the Enforcers.
  • [Threat Assessment Device, Internal]: PLEX carries an internal Threat Assessment Device, a powerful investigative and defensive tool that increases his defensive capabilities and tracking skills. The device can scan and assess opponents before the Enforcer engages in combat, thereby disabling the "lag time" of first strike in combat and adapting to any special abilities found in combat. In other words, PLEX's Threat Assessment Device can assess opponents and threats before he faces them, formulating a strategy and adapting to the largest threat at the moment. Of course, this is not without limitation.

Limitations:
  • Standard Enforcer Limitations
  • PLEX's Threat Assessment Device will only create one adaptation for one ability, meaning that PLEX must try and adapt to multiple things at one time of he were to be attacked from multiple sides. Knowing the limitations behind an Enforcer's armor, this is impossible.
  • Individuals with more than one ability can bypass the Threat Assessment Device easily, by using said ability. In other words, someone whom has strength and also fire abilities can bypass PLEX's TAD by using the fire abilities, whilst PLEX adapts to counter the strength. .

Weaknesses:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: As an Enforcer, CORE carries all of the weaknesses shared by all Enforcers, namely being poor mobility, susceptibility to magnets and EMPs.

The Fallen Jedi wrote:
Race Name: Architects | "Children of The Ethereals" | Ethereal Children
World of Origin: Realm of Elysium
Territories: Elysian Archipelago
Race Appearance: The Architects appear entirely humanoid with some exceptions while utilizing the powers bestowed unto them by the Nexus. When directly utilizing the powers of the Nexus will the eyes of an Architect glow a certain color that is based off of their personality, beyond this, Architects appear identical to humans.
Description/Lore:
Like many other species during the Age of Barbarism, the story of the Architects was one of trial and tribulation. Born into a Galaxy at War with itself would the Children of the Ethereals find surviving this galaxy wide conflict extremely difficult, unlike other species which numbered in the millions or even billions, the Architects numbered approximately ten thousand individuals scattered throughout the galaxy. Over the nearly a century would the numbers of the Architects decrease from ten thousand to only a few hundred, their very existence at risk if they would have been continually exposed to the war. However, as fate would have it the Miracle of Sigma Galli Prime would occur, with two Architects known as Asumar and Kazuko Masaki having built an Intergalactic Ark in an attempt to take those who sought to survive the Age of Barbarism away from the Aquila Galaxy and resettle on a world outside of the galaxy to live in peace once more.

As would be expected, droves of people seeking a new life away from the wars ravaging the Aquila Galaxy would make their way towards Sigma Galli Prime, especially what remained of the near-extinct Architect race. However with the sudden influx of people flocking to Sigma Galli Prime would unwanted guests also make their way to the world to pillage and capture slaves for menial work and yet with the key of their salvation now at risk would the refugees do the unimaginable" unite together and fight for their right to live, to fight for survival. It is said that the Battle of Sigma Galli Prime was one of destruction where two sides driven to desperation would clash against each other. Eventually however the refugees would be able to hold off the barbaric forces long enough for the Interstellar Ark to launch from Sigma's orbit and begin it's exodus to a habitable world.

With the refugees having placed themselves in cryogenic stasis to await their arrival to the nearest habitable world for them, the Ark would journey through the intergalactic void for more than a thousand years before stumbling upon the Sol System in the Milky Way Galaxy, finding that the nearest habitable world was a small blue and green world known only as Earth. It would be at this point that the refugees would slowly awaken from their stasis as the ship entered the atmosphere of the Earth, this of course would gain the attention of the international community, who, fearing a potential extraterrestrial invasion would dispatch the United Champions to approach and investigate the vessel for any indications of hostilities.

However instead of facing off against a hostile enemy, there were faced with a group of curious and fearful refugees from another galaxy, one of which being the Architects, one of the smallest group of refugees encountered by the United Champions. Unlike the other groups aboard the ark, the Architects responded with cautions curiosity, prepared for a fight, but also interested in the world that they had landed on. As would be expected, the nations of the world responded apprehensively to these new arrivals, with many outright refusing to accept these refugees into their borders, desperate to end their millennia long exodus from the galaxy that they called their home, the Architects were desperate to find a place that they could actually call their home, but as fortune would have it, a cluster of islands would serve as the answer they were looking for: the Elysian Archipelago was strangely strong with the Nexus, being one of the only islands to house the exceedingly rare mineral known as Celestium. Anxious to settle down and live in peace, the Architects sent a plea to the United States, the nation closest to the Archipelago to settle the island for themselves and the refugees.

With it becoming clear that the refugees were nothing more than a fearful flock seeking a new home, the United States would eventually accept the request of the Architects, giving them sovereignty over the newly formed Elysian Enclave.

Race Powers:
  • The Nexus: Abundant in the Aquila Galaxy and beyond, The Nexus is essentially a jack-of-all-trades magical force that could grant a variety of powers to all, not being restricted to a singular power that it could bestow to those who used it's power.
    • Sorcery: - Self Explanatory, as The Nexus is also Magic -
  • Hybrid Physiology: Created as a result of the combining of the DNA of an Ethereal and a Human, the Architects are a hybrid species that have inherited the superior endurance and condition of the powerful Ethereals, especially the Supernaturally dominant Condition of the Ethereals, giving them enhanced stamina, stregnth, and durability.

Race Limitations:
  • The Architects have a lower fertility rate than humans, which is just marginally sufficient to maintain the continued survival of the Architect race.
  • Like all Sorcery, it must be learned and mastered sufficiently before it can be used properly.
  • The war in the Aquila Galaxy has adversely affected the vast majority of the Architects, who are hard to come to trust other individuals without suspecting an ulterior motive is at hand.

Race Weaknesses:
  • Celestium Dependence: Acting as a receiver to the realm of Elysium, the Architects are especially dependent on the deposit of Celestium buried underneath the main Elysian Island. If the deposit is destroyed either through natural phenomenon or directly, the Architects and their connection to The Nexus would be weakened significantly, with some even possibly outright losing said connection.
  • Low Fertility Rate: - Read Above -

Additional info: The vast majority of Architects are seen as spiritual leaders in the Elysian Islands due to their knowledge in fields closely related to The Nexus.

Name: Elysian Collective
Type: The Elysian Collective is a relatively small nation inspired off of the functions of the United States, where each island within the Archipelago has it's own Provincial Governor and has some form of autonomy, but will ultimately answer to the Federal Government, namely the Elysian Federal Council, which is composed of Provincial Governors and Community Leaders that are responsible for creating the laws that the entirety of the Collective is expected to follow.
Location: The location of the Elysian Collective is on the aptly named Elysium Archipelago, a chain of approximately six islands located approximately five hundred miles from the Californian Coast
Population: Roughly 575,000 (as of 2016)
Notable features:
  • The Elysian Collective has an Embassy with the United States.
  • Because the Aquila Galaxy was abundant with superpowered individuals, the Elysian Collective does not view superheroes with any of special treatment, but rather treats them the same as any other individual within it's community.
  • While desiring to stay out of international conflicts, the Elysian Collective has not only established a rather small Defense Force, but has also Implemented a policy of Isolationism and Neutrality,
  • Having been formally invited to join the United Nations as a permanent member, the Elysian Collective has outright refused these offers, instead obtaining permanent observer status in 2007 under A/RES/62/279.
  • The advanced technology that had been achieved within the Aquila Galaxy during the Age of Barbarism was passed onto the Elysian Collective, essentially making it one of the smallest First World Countries in the world.
  • The Elysian Collective is essentially self sufficient and self sustainable, having only ever relied on international aid for the first few years following it's founding.
Year founded:
  • Main Island Established in 2002
  • Archipelago Established in February of 2006
  • Obtained Permanent UN Observer Status in 2007
Active heroes/villains of note: Aside from the Order of The Nexus, which is predominantly a Spiritual and Religious Organization, there are no other active heroes or villains.

Both accepted

Name: Asumar Masaki
Age: 1,500 Years Old
Gender: Male
Race: Architect
Appearance: This
Young Blood?: The man is almost 2,000, of course not
Bio:
Unlike the harsh treatment suffered by most Architects, much of the early life of Asumar Masaki was one of peaceful ignorance and seclusion on the garden world of Sigma Galli Prime for most of the Age of Barbarism. Raised alongside his brother Kazuko Masaki, the two brothers would live under the care of their mentor Master Shimura, learning the ways of the Nexus and of the conflict that was raging wildly throughout the Galaxy. For many years would the lives of the two Masaki Brothers be that of inactivity until the day came that Master Shimura died. Moments after Shimura's death would the scope of the conflict raging throughout the Aquila Galaxy become clear to the Masaki brothers, sensing the torment of those affected by the conflict. Feeling that allowing the innocent to suffer while the ruinous powers ran amok was something that they could not abide by, the two brothers would use the resources available on Sigma Galli Prime to begin construction of a life raft: an Ark that would bring salvation to those who sought refuge away from a Galaxy at war.

As fortune would have it, rumors of this Great Exodus would reach the ears of those who sought an escape from the destruction around them. As a result, nearly half a million refugees would make their way towards Sigma Galli Prime, offering their assistance in building the Ark. Over a decade would pass until the construction of the ark would be completed and the beginning of the Great Exodus would commence, the maiden voyage of the Ark being relatively uneventful until the journey to the edge of the known Galaxy. With their home Galaxy now looming behind them, the last time that they would see the Aquila Galaxy as it was, the refugees as well as the Masaki Brothers would enter cryogenic stasis: prepared for the long and arduous journey ahead of them.

October 5th, 2001 would become the day that marked the arrival of the Ark over the West Coast of the United States, with the United Champions being dispatched to investigate the ark hours after first contact. Like the other refugees, the reaction from the two brothers would be that of reservation and caution, their trust in other civilizations lacking due to the lingering memories of the Age of Barbarism. Eventually, after a lengthy standoff between the brothers and the United Champons would both sides eventually come to realize that neither were out for blood but rather the refugees in the ark were simply looking for a new home.

During the initial stages of colonizing the Elysium Archipelago's main island, Asumar would take a different path than his brother Kazuko. Instead of becoming a representative for the Architects, Asumar would go on to marry Shiroma Ashihei of the Golden Horde, who would later give birth to Ryuichi Masaki in early 2002. As of 2017, Asumar and his family have taken up dual residence, owning a house in both the Elysian Collective and San Diego.

Powers:
  • Architect Physiology: As an Architect, Asumar has inherited much of the enhancements of the Ethereal's, the parent species of the Architects, which is based heavily around Supernatural Condition, making Asumar more stronger, durable, and agile, as well as bolstering his regenerative capabilities and the ability to not age beyond that of his prime years.
  • The Nexus - Psionic Manipulation: By using the power of the Nexus, Asumar has access to a variety of mental and psychic powers, including but not limited to basic Telekinesis, the ability to telepathically communicate with other organisms regardless of their ability to tap into the Nexus, and more importantly the ability to manipulate his own psychic energies.
    • Levitation/Flight: Rather self explanatory, using his telekinesis can Asumar fly and levitate at will.
    • Psychic Energy Manipulation: One of his more renowned capabilities, Asumar is especially capable in manipulating his psychic energies to achieve a variety of effects including the ability to create constructs, launch energy based attacks and even use it to heal those around him.
      • Psionic Energy Exoskeleton: At it's absolute limit, Asumar can manipulate his psionic energies to manifest a colossal ethereal construct to act as a manifestation of his will. He is also able to manipulate the size of this entity to suit his own needs, but with a drastic drawback...

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t end the universe):
  • Basic Telekinesis: Having neglected mastering his telekinetic capabilities, Asumar is only proficient in lifting things with his mind, throwing them and even crushing his opponents, this does not mean that he can telekinetically manipulate atoms or wipe an entire city off of the map.
  • Telepathy: Asumar can only telepathically reach out and speak to others, he cannot mind control, and read another person's mind without permission, he is only capable of primarily communication with another person and interpreting their thoughts.
  • Limited Regeneration: To put it bluntly, Asumar is incapable of Majin Buu levels of regeneration, nor can he regenerate from having half of his body vaporized, essentially reinforces the not immortal limitation.

Weaknesses:
  • Mental Strain: Effectively self explanatory, Asumar's primary abilities are all based on mental capabilities. Increasingly taxing techniques can result in heavier mental strain and if pushed beyond it's limit can lead to brain hemorrhaging, seizures, and in extreme cases, either coma or brain death.
  • Psionic Exoskeleton - Immense Pain: As his ultimate power, Asumar's ability to manifest an ethereal entity clad in armor is extremely taxing and requires both a combination of mental fortitude and concentration. If pushed to his limit, the above mentioned weaknesses actually apply, with the addition of this exoskeleton potentially causing intense migraines and headaches as well as resulting in immense exhaustion.
  • Limited Regeneration: Same Limitations apply, with the regeneration also being somewhat delayed before the body can respond. If any of the above conditions are met, the time for regeneration is further delayed.
  • Not Immortal: While unable to age beyond his current appearance, this does not mean that Asumar is unkillable nor is he invincible. Facing off against a reasonably powerful opponent who knows his tricks can make it easier to kill him.
  • Construct Connection: Utilizing his constructs requires Asumar to either be in the epicenter of his construct, or when using the exoskeletion, within it.

Likes: His relatives and family, Sparring and Fighting (Latter depends on circumstance), Watching movies, Raising his son, Watching the sunset
Dislikes: Recklessness, Overconfidence, abusing authority, Politics, Discrimination against the citizens of the Elysian Collective

Additional Information (Optional; remove if unused)-
Birthday: Unknown, Even to him
Greatest fear: Losing his family

Name: Kazuko Masaki | Councilman of the Architects
Age: Roughly 1,500
Gender: Male
Race: Architect
Appearance: This
Young Blood?: Nope
Bio:
In essence, nearly the entirety of Kazuko's life was lived alongside his brother, with exception during the early days of the Elysian Collective. While Asumar would go on to get married and have a son to raise, Kazuko would stay alongside the refugees as communities began to form among the races present for the exodus. For most of the early days of the Elysian Collective would Kazuko be the one responsible with coordinating the international aid that was being provided by the United Nations as well as directing the construction of communities on the archipelago. While initially advocating for unity between the races, Kazuko came to understand that maintaining the memories of all of their ceremonies and traditions, being one of the many leaders to advocate for the creation of race exclusive communities on each island while simultaneously establishing the rule that would allow the species to intermingle with each other on the islands without any form of persecution.

As of 2017, Kazuko maintains his position as the Councilman that represents the interests of the Architect people in the Elysian Federal Council and is currently being considered for ascension to the Averian Island's Provincial Governor, the governor of the island inhabited predominantly by the Architects.

Powers:
  • Architect Physiology: - Refer to the Application of Asumar Masaki -
  • The Nexus - Nature Manipulation: Born with this unique ability bestowed onto him by The Nexus. Kazuko has the ability to manipulate the forces of nature to his disposal, ranging from using the natural elements found in the environment to outright communicating with animals and other organic creatures. Kazuko is also capable of using these elements for transportation (such as gliding on water, using fire as jet propulsion, or burrowing into the earth or gliding on it) with relative ease.
    • Natural Energy Manipulation: An ability rare to most other Nexus-based Nature Manipulators. Kazuko has the ability to pull directly from the ambient energy found in nature and use it to enhance himself, or use it directly for energy based attacks.
    • Elemental Constructs: Essentially self explanatory. Kazuko can utilize the elements in nature to create anything ranging from simple constructs to advanced elemental entities.

Limitations:
  • Cannot use Gravity Manipulation, Sound Manipulation, or Universal Manipulation: Self Explanatory, I do not feel this needs to be directly explained.
  • Nature Manipulation: Kazuko is unable to influence nature on a global scale, which would require concentration and energy mastery at a level never before seen, even by Kazuko himself.
  • Weather Manipulation: The above limitation also applies, including the fact that Kazuko cannot create events capable of causing a widespread natural disaster, only able to affect things in his direct vicinity.
  • Limited Regeneration: To put it bluntly, Asumar is incapable of Majin Buu levels of regeneration, nor can he regenerate from having half of his body vaporized, essentially reinforces the not immortal limitation.

Weaknesses:
  • Urban Environment: In an environment where nature is absent, Kazuko is practically unable to affect the environment around him that is not nature rich, this does not make him necessarily helpless, as he can also rely on the elements around him for limited capabilities.
  • Cannot affect Microscopic Organisms: While technically a part of the Urban Environment weakness, Kazuko is also unable to affect microscopic organisms that are developed naturally.
  • Sterile Environment: Perhaps his biggest weakness, if Kazuko is within a sterile environment devoid of plant life, or other natural objects, he is essentially helpless in this situation and can be killed easily as a result.
  • Standard Elemental Weaknesses: Self Explanatory
  • Balance for Natural Energy: One of the more bigger weaknesses in Kazuko's arsenal. If directly utilizing natural energy to bolster himself, a careful balance needs to be establish between his physical energies, spiritual energies, and natural energies. If this balance is interrupted, it can result in debilitating and crippling implications for the user.
  • Range = Increased Concentration/Energy Consumption: In simpler terms, the farther Kazuko extends his range of influence, the more of a demand is put into him concentrating and mending energies.
  • Limited Range: At best, Kazuko can only influence nature in a half mile radius of his general viscinity, further bolstered by the demand the range will put on him.
  • Limited Regeneration: Same Limitations apply, with the regeneration also being somewhat delayed before the body can respond.
  • Not Immortal: While unable to age beyond his current appearance, this does not mean that Asumar is unkillable nor is he invincible. Facing off against a reasonably powerful opponent who knows his tricks can make it easier to kill him.
  • Construct Connection: Utilizing his constructs requires Kazuko to either be in the epicenter of his construct, or when using the exoskeletion, within it.

Likes: Family and Relatives, Maintaining Peace, Learning about Earth and Humanity, Watching Historical/Nature Documentaries
Dislikes: Discrimination against species/race, Brutality/Abuse of power, Nature being discarded as an Infinite resource, General apathy over nature, Anarchy

Name: Tommy Towers/Daybreaker
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:
Image

Young Blood?: No
Bio:
Tommy was born to a fairly normal family in Atlanta, GA. But his father, a marine was killed overseas and his mother struggled to raise him alone. Tommy had always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps but his mother actively discouraged military interest. As a result, Tommy began looking for other outlets and found it with the local heroes. The Atlanta Guardians. And there was one hero in particular that he admired. Sentinel. So, throughout his middle school years he would go about the neighborhood and do regular charity work. Clean streets of garbage and graffiti. Help people with chores. Volunteer for community projects ect. Tommy never thought much of this at all at the time but someone did take note.

Sentinel.

So, when Tommy had turned 15 he was visited by his favorite hero and to his delight was accepted as his side kick. Daniel, was actively looking for a new generation of heroes who had the 'spirit' for the position. And until this point, Tommy had been one to give with no thought of reward. That would not last however.

Being accepted to be trained by a professional hero can change people. And for Tommy it did just that. First it was gradual, just a walk that was straighter and a boost in confidence. But over time he started to develop an ego, he became popular with the girls at school(still kept his identity secret though) and when he was in the limelight of the media he soaked up every moment of it. It was a situation Daniel had wanted to avoid. See, Tommy was gifted and talented as a hero. He grew fast and learned quickly, not making the same mistake but a couple times before growing past it. But that 'heroic spirit' that Daniel had prized Tommy for had slowly been replaced by the constant attention he was now getting. That was a year ago when he was 18. But last year Daniel kept the Guardians out of the NASL tournament and Tommy resented him for it. Despite this, Daniel suggested that they go out on a mission together. Get back to the things that matter. Tommy agreed until they arrived at the 'mission' and saw that it was just a charity gig helping the homeless.

Something that Tommy would have jumped at just a few years prior. But now? He was insulted. He stormed off declaring such work as a waste of his time and for Daniel Tommy had just failed his last test. Daniel thought hard about what he should do with Tommy as he realized that he was more than capable of fighting villains himself, there was little left to teach him in that sense. And he only grew to resent the team and Daniel more the more Daniel lectured him. So, he decided that it was time for Tommy to go his own way. Daniel had already picked a successor to Tommy in Courtney Rollins. And he informed Tommy that he was being 'graduated'. Cut loose now that he had little left to learn from Sentinel and that Daniel could not teach him the one aspect he was missing. That he would need to 'rediscover' that on his own. Tommy at this point was glad to be off the team, so he started as a wondering hero. But in the back of his mind, he never forgot what Daniel had said to him.

"That he needed to reclaim what it was that made him a hero."

Powers:
  • [Light Empowerment]: (Daybreaker is powered by light. This has many applications for him both passive and abilities he must focus to use. Some passive abilities include physical empowerment and regeneration. He can also fire concussive blasts of energy fueled by light he has absorbed.)

Limitations:
  • (Daybreaker needs light to be an effective hero. This can be anything from natural light to artificial. However, natural light is the more potent source for his powers. Obviously, he needs to be far more careful managing his energy fighting at night as he is far more prone to run out of energy)

Weaknesses:
  • [Darkness]: (Darkness is a absolute foil to his powers. Since he needs light to fuel himself, taking that away depowers him rapidly. Ex, Nightshade would be an effective and natural counter to his abilities.)

Young Blood?: No(Atlanta Guardians)
Bio:
Daniel was born in Atlanta, GA to a family of law enforcement. He however, was a rebellious child and as he entered his teenage years he became even more distant after the death of his mother. Acting out even more and eventually meeting Jessica, a beautiful and daring girl who grew up in poverty herself. But rather than complain about it, she instead became a juvenile and started stealing to support herself. It was only a matter of time before she pulled Daniel into her world. The two soon earned a rep sheet and Daniel's own father was at a loss for what to do with him. So, after the pair was busted his father sat him down and told him that he would help him get on his feet after serving his brief stay in jail, on the condition that he stop seeing Jessica. Daniel refused to agree to this. He loved the girl, however he did tell his father that he would change his ways. And do his best to help Jessica do the same. After being released from the juvenile center he and Jessica moved in together. Married. And had a child, a daughter named Sabrina.

They were 18 and 17 respectively.

But life was hard for the two teenage parents and Daniel made what money he could on a minimum wage job, and working as a general handy man. Jessica worked as a waitress, but the bills piled up and the stress of providing for her family and daughter drove Jessica back into her old ways. Especially as she decided to finally use her own superhuman ability to aid her in her robberies. Jessica had the power of a sonic scream. When she returned with bags of money from a heist Daniel was furious. Telling her that she was throwing away all of their hard work. Meanwhile Jessica accused her husband of not doing everything he could to provide for their family, that by turning away the money she stole, money that could provide for the future of Sabrina.

They had a falling out and Daniel knew that Jessica would not stop. The police were on to her and she was getting desperate. He was terrified that she would finally go too far, so he made a decision. He would stop her himself and prevent her from accidentally getting someone killed. So, in a improvised costume he tracked her down and engaged her. And after a struggle he succeeded in bringing his own wife to justice. It devastated him, and the two soon had a divorce. The hero outing was supposed to be a one night thing, but the city announced a new hero as 'Sentinel'. So, he decided he would take up the position of a hero to provide a better example for both his daughter and the city at large.

In the following years, he would gain experience as a solo hero and found the Atlanta Guardians. Where he would meet his best friend the hero Anthem and his 2nd and current wife, Mayla. He and Mayla eventually fell in love and married a couple years later. They had two more children, Claire and August. Since then, he has earned a law degree and managed to become a Defense attorney. Despite this he has kept up his hero work and balances his family, professional and hero lives as best he can. Now he has recently traveled to see his wife after hearing she was hospitalized fighting against and alongside Gaul. And the future of this veteran hero is uncertain as Mayla tries to convince him to retire and he faces new challenges.
  • [Master Martial Artist]: (Sentinel is a master martial artist ad hand to hand fighter, ranked among the best in the NASL)
  • [Skilled Detective]: (Sentinel does not only punch his way through problems, he also has a keen mind and has studied numerous fields which help him solve crimes and see patterns others miss)
  • [Natural Leader]: (Sentinel has been leading his team for years and is adept at reading the situation and his teammates)
  • [Willpower]: (Sentinel has a tremendous willpower, allowing him to continue fighting and searching for a means to win no matter the odds.)
  • [Strong Moral Beliefs]: (While these do little to help him directly in combat they dictate many of his life's decisions. Sentinel is not a hero who can be compromised, bought or threatened.)

Limitations:
  • (Human limitations hold Sentinel back in his duties as a hero. While he does the best he possibly can, ultimately he is a mortal man often fighting against super-human villains.)

Weaknesses:
  • [Humanity]: (Sentinel is human, he wears armor but should his skills or equipment fail him, he would be killed as easily as any other tenacious human)

Likes: His wife, family, team and helping others
Dislikes: Those who harm society, heroes who prioritize celebrity status

Fresh meats for the Enforcers Neither an A-lister team, nor a B-lister.

Fresno Firestarters
The Firestarters are a relatively new, yet, at the same time, fairly old team of local supers, formed during the early 80s, where their popularity and fame gave them practically national attention. After having gone through several changes in their lineup, combined with the deaths of former team members, the Firestarters are barely recognizable or noteworthy in comparison to their original, more famous version from the 80s. Still, the formidable modern team has kept themselves off of the B-list and in the spotlight by staying active on social media, with a young but energetic team of supers actively contributing to keep Fresno’s high rate of crime down whilst bringing a flamboyant and flashy choice of attire to the table, reminiscent of their iconic 80s counterparts.

Name: Maria Martinez | Mar | Punk
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance:
Image

Young Blood?: No.
Bio:
A young villainess upstart, Maria was born to an American man and a Mexican woman in Juarez, Mexico, but was raised in neighboring El Paso for the most part. On her mothers' side of the family, heroism and powers ran pretty deep, but her father was staunchly against supers and their kind, working his fingers to the bone in order to support his family, despite their less than ideal living conditions. Still, Maria had a sense of purpose and a longing to help people, and rather than do so with a costume and power, she opted to study medicine and become a doctor.

Affectionately called "Mar Mar" by her cousins and classmates, her nickname of Mar stuck close to her. One fateful day, though, during one of the labs for her course at UTEP, Mar found herself able to heal other people through her touch. This was wild and game changing, as she was well on her way into becoming a medical professional, but started to see offers come up to join superhero teams as an in-demand healer. She decided to take a job with the Rainbow Warriors of El Paso in her spare time outside of class, but found herself a bit unfulfilled with hero work. Her days were dull and drab, and even the bouts of action they received just couldn't shake the feeling that Mar could accomplish more.

Another day in the raging summer heat introduced her and her team to the notorious supervillain, Mustafa Gaul, who was relatively unknown at the time. Her team were routed in battle and Mar was taken hostage, the villain demanding the girl heal his injuries in preparation for the next battle. She did as instructed, but talked with the man throughout the process, learning his motivations and witnessing an exciting side of the superhuman population: villainy. Gaul let her go before he left El Paso by train, but she wanted to stay, and followed him to Tuscon, where Gaul encountered another team of superheroes, and ripped them to shreds as well. Meeting a man known as Nile, the three young adults became inseparable friends, finding enjoyment outside of their comfort zones as they dabbled on the dark side of the law.

Powers:
  • [Tactile Telekinesis]: At all times, Punk is surrounded by a telekinetic force field barely a few milimeters above her skin. She can extend this field, but only by touching something or someone, but once she's in contact, she can lift the object effortlessly or display other degrees of superhuman condition, such as pushing her own body through the air to achieve flight or scanning the ground near-by in order to identify incoming threats.
  • [Healing]: Her originally discovered ability, her healing power has taken a back seat in development to her other tactile-based abilities, but her ability to heal teammates by touch is an incredibly useful asset on the battlefield, especially for damage sponges like Gaul. She has found numerous drawbacks to the ability, like it's lack of area of effect, and the extreme exhaustion and fatigue it gives her being directly linked to the amount of damage she heals.

Limitations:
  • Range: Mar can only affect something through touch, or within those few milimeters that it's basically touch anyways. Touching the object through the air doesn't work, it needs to be direct contact with her skin or a solid object from her skin to the thing she wants to interact with. This is the same for her healing ability, as she'd need skin to skin contact to begin the process.
  • Skill: Mar is just now figuring out her powers, she did not have the luxury to develop and train with them from puberty or to have them groomed in a school program. She is a mixture of self-taught and instructed by other villains such Gaul, Nile, and Black Luminous, but it's still lacking. Her healing ability has not grown much since it was first uncovered.

Weaknesses:
  • [Force Field Strength]: Constant and repeated blows of intense magnitude and force can break and eventually shatter her personal telekinetic force field.
  • [Touch]: I can't stress this enough, if she can't touch it, she can't affect it. Users of telekinesis, gravity manipulation, electromagnetic fields, force fields, all of that jazz, can render her power useless if they remove her from any sort of matter and hover her body just out of reach.
  • [Fatigue]: Her healing by touch drains her energy rapidly, giving her greater fatigue and exhaustion the worse off the injury she heals are.

Name: Mustafa Gaul | Gladiator
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:
Image

Young Blood?: Orion.
Biography:
Gaul was born at Riverside General Hospital in the Third Ward of Houston, the second child of Yusef and Salma. Out of five children, two parents, all in a two-bedroom run-down apartment, Gaul stood out with higher than average physical condition and strength from an early age, implying he had latent superhuman potential. However, his parents were always suspicious of government-run and even privately owned superpowered agencies and scouts, and were not vocal about Mustafa's ability. At the same time, they wanted to keep their family together, and if their son had heroic potential, then he would be taken away.

Despite their reclusiveness, Yusef and his wife were active in the community, and encouraged their children to be mindful of others intentions and motivations, and above all, to be able to defend yourself. This was the Third Ward of Houston, after all, an impoverished and slum-like ghetto where it was often said that heroes never came. That statement would become a reality when Gaul was around twelve years old, and the rising tensions in downtown Houston turned into all-out warfare among several city blocks. Gangs, militias, armed citizens, and the like all rose up in response to several incidents with superpowered youths on a crime spree, which just spiraled out of control into the so-called Ward Wars.

Living through the hell of watching his neighbors beaten and battered, even murdered, severely affected Gaul. He joined in with secret patrols of younger boys, aiming to protect their block while just looking for an excuse to let out their frustrations on outsiders. He got into many fights, many jumps, got jumped himself, was robbed, stabbed, you name it, Gaul was both a sufferer and a perpetrator in the War. And true to it's statement, no heroes came to the Third Ward. It would take a little over a year for the situation to settle down, enough for the National Guard and State Militia to move in and enforce order, which had already been mostly achieved by that point. Thousands were arrested and several put on trial, but not enough justice could be delivered, and many would simply walk free.

Gaul walked away from the Ward War changed, a boy forced to grow up quickly and defend himself and his family, and he found himself lacking in that regard. He left his home at age fourteen, with a mission and passion to right the wrongs he had perceived in the world around him. By pure chance, he was picked up and educated by Mayla Carter, who focused on the boy's physical ability and his keen eagerness to learn and develop into a martial artist. He was a natural, a prodigy even, and his unwavering spirit and will-power earned him praise from Daniel Carter, who secretly viewed him as a potential successor to the Sentinel mantle.

Four years later, began to butt heads with his sensei and classmates on the rights and wrongs of heroism and villainy. Gaul saw potential in rehabilitation for most evil-doers, and stagnation of the term 'hero', but his solution to this problem was to eliminate the 'bad' heroes, which was not at all in line with the teachings The Carters tried to enforce. Falling out of grace with Mayla, despite being her star student, the two parted ways, with Gaul in pursuit of heroes unbeknownst to Mayla, donning the masquerade of a villain to pay retribution for the inaction of all so-called heroes. He expanded his hunt and eventually moved out to California, where we find him today, a nationally-recognized supervillain and Orion operative of extreme power and notoriety.

Powers:
  • Body Supremacy: Trained from his youth, Gaul is able to have complete control over his entire body by having his "mind, body, and spirit" work in sync, a method he was taught through Mayla Carter. This fine control allows him to preform superhuman feats of strength, agility, speed, and durability with ease, as well as unlocking greater potential within his mind, such as granting an indomitable will and a perception of what paths one is likely to take in hand to hand situations. As he has control of his body's own regeneration, he's able to repair himself at will, granted he has the energy or available nutrition to do so.
    • Supernatural Condition: Explained above, but Gaul sits at about Type II on the scale. In each successive fight he's gotten into, Gaul has shown an increase in his base physical stats that have elevated him from an enhanced condition state to a full-blown Supernatural one.
    • Indomitable Will: Exceedingly convinced of his own abilities, motives, and ideology, Gaul is steadfast in his beliefs, not only in his warped view of reality, but his physical abilities and prowess. The man just refuses to quit or give up, which creates an insane feedback loop with his damage empowerment as he'll continue to fight and struggle even if it tears him apart or even kills him. His mind just forces itself to push on even when his body screams for a moment of rest.
    • Supernatural Combat: To put it simply, Gaul is on a completely different level when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, able to just One Man Army the shit out of almost anyone he comes across. He leverages his superpowerful body and mind into a mobile and brutally effective weapon, essentially adapting to the fighting style of his opponent and either using it against them or countering it in the heat of battle. He was hand-trained by one of the best martial artist master on Earth, Mayla Carter.
    • Accelerated Probability: Rather than witness the absolute future of events, Gaul is able to accurately predict and read the body language of people and how they respond to situations. This isn't a for-sure thing, either, Gaul is basically presented with a list of possibilities and has to account for them like so.
    • Healing Factor: By controlling the natural regenerative processes of the body, Gaul is able to accelerate his recovery of most injuries, even ones not normally recoverable, such as lost limbs or nerve damage. The main drawback to that is that Gaul requires high caloric intake in order to preform such healing, and he won't be able to effortlessly re-craft a limb in the midst of a fight. Re-attach his tendons on his ankle? Sure, regrow an arm that was sliced off? You're asking for the Moon.

  • Damage Empowerment: Basically, Gaul gets stronger, fast, more durable, and larger pool of stamina the more damage that he takes. He's limited at the beginning of such engagements, being able only to handle what his fairly durable form can take, but steadily progresses and becomes more aggressively empowering as the fight wears on. Eventually, Gaul resorts to attrition and can simply wear down opponents. Fightin' Spirit.

Limitations:
  • Gaul must withstand the pain or damage he is taking for it to become empowering, otherwise, the overwhelming damage will just knock him out or outright kill him if it's too strong of an initial attack.
  • Self-Doubt and utter shock can end up breaking his willpower and spirit, which in turn will just whittle away at his fighting ability.
  • Healing requires energy, and for larger injuries, he needs more caloric intake. Most fights where he utilizes this power leaves him in a state of extreme hunger and exhaustion.

Weaknesses:
  • [Non-Physical]: Gaul is at home in physical confrontations, hand to hand and up in your face. He is hard-countered by long range, magic, and energy attacks. He only has his body and it responds to physical damage, he has no flight or projectiles to use. Not only this, but his only defense against telepathic attacks on his mind is his Indomitable Will, which can be overcome with enough brute force telepathic power.
  • [Attrition]:His body requires upkeep, and it's entirely possible to tire him out of his regenerative ability, and eventually win a battle of attrition if you keep his damage empowerment in check.
  • [Core]: In addition, Gaul's head must remain in tact for healing to take effect. Removing his head from the body is a pretty quick way to kill him.

Likes: Fightin' Spirit
Dislikes: Losin' Spirit

Name: Alex Morshk

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Race: Mutant Human

Appearance (pics if possible): https://orig00.deviantart.net/94c9/f/20 ... 527lw4.jpg

Young Blood?: Yes

Bio:
Alex started his life in Los Angeles, California, living with his single mother in the slums of Compton. Growing up he always saw violence. Gang crime in his neighborhood had been a serious issues. Everynight he’d be woken up by gunshots, every day he’d see another house taped off as a crime scene. But as he went through his daily life, it never really affected him. He simply watched it happen around him, brushing it off as he never really knew anything else.

All of that changed though, on one faithful day. At the age of 14, he was walking home from school when he was stopped by four kids slightly older than himself. He knew them, kids who were part of one of the more prolific gangs in his neighborhood. As they pushed him around he brushed it off, until one of them told Alex to give them his money. When Alex refused, they made physical threats. But, out of principle, he still refused.

That’s when things got violent. But when the thugs started beating him, something interesting happened. Instinct kicked in and Alex threw a punch, which not only connected with one of the assailants, but launched him several yards backwards, knocking him out on impact with the ground. It had been enough to scare off the others and send them running.

Alex didn’t know what to make of what happened. He went home that night and began trying to replicate what had occurred, but couldn’t get it to work. After months and months of practice though, he began to get the hang of it, learning that somehow he could generate shockwaves from his body. He began practicing more, using an old punching bag to better control his attacks. He even started using a bouncing rubber ball to learn how to deflect projectiles.

By the time Alex turned 16 he decided that he was proficient enough to test his new abilities. He purchased a ski mask and snuck out of his house, looking for any signs of trouble. He had one ideal he would stick to however. He didn’t want to kill anyone. In his mind, that made him no better than the criminals he was trying to stop. Since then, he’s done the same thing everynight, sneaking out to try to stop whatever criminal activities he can.

Powers:
  • Shockwave Generation: Alex has the ability to generate shockwaves from his body, either localized to certain points like his hands and feet, or from his whole being. He can use this ability to deflect attacks and projectiles, bolster physical attacks, or create a ranged attack by focusing said shockwaves. Said shockwaves do not affect his own body.

Limitations:
  • Despite his power, he doesn’t want to kill anyone, so he holds himself quite a bit back in most situations.
  • He still has quite a bit of learning to do on how to control his power, especially in regards to pinpointed ranged attacks.
  • The power is like a muscle that can be fatigued, and since his training and use of the power have been limited to small applications he is easily fatigued by strenuous use of the power.

Weaknesses (Reasons why someone could kick their ass):
  • Human Level Durability: He’s still human, which means he can die to anything a human can die to.
  • Surprise Attacks: Unexpected attacks leave him no time to send out a defensive shockwave, meaning that he is incredibly vulnerable to ambushes .

My issue is with the limitations and weaknesses. The power isn't OP or anything by any means but neither the limitations or the weaknesses have anything really to do with the powers. Maybe he can only generate so many in a certain time span? Substances or materials its ineffective against? If I could get just one of those I think I can be good.

The number of characters is nearing 60, so frankly, it would be easier if you offered options so I could tell you if they're taken or not :P

Anything specifically to do with light manipulation, perhaps?
