New Collective City’s iconic Industrial Sector (built on raised platforms above the ocean) boasts a rustic-yet-vibrant dieselpunk feel, while the Trade Sector flaunts cyberpunk-inspired design. The Residential Sector, still under development, is planned to utilize ideas from futurists during the 1990s.

Brief Description and Status of Project (optional): Once a collection of seven different towns located at the head of Kuanlong Bay, Taixiang was established following the unification of Panjiang back in 1957. Originally created as an industrial hub for a nation still recovering from a decades-long civil war, slowdowns in industrial output and the rise of the service sector during the 1980s and '90s prompted the Panjingese government to create "Special Innovation and Economic Zones" in five select cities. These zones provided tax incentives for companies willing to invest in their respective cities. Taixing, along with four other cities, was chosen following an intense bidding war on April 1, 2003. Over the next four years, a ten-year development plan was drawn up under the watchful eye of the previous mayor, Yang Liuxian, before officially beginning on September 12, 2008. First elected in 2011 following Yang's retirement, the current mayor, Li Wuhan, has pledged to spend his time in office modernizing the city's largely nonexistent public transportation system and laying the foundations for the nation's most advanced metro system.

The Neues Leonmarkt-Projekt was conceived in 2013 by Freiherr (Baron) Reichart Hinderofen, a professor at the National University of Alsbruck-Leonmarkt modeling after other more modern smart cities all over the world. Initially developed as a modernization program, it effectively grew into a project to replace the aging public infrastructure found in Leonmarkt which was considered at the time substandard when compared to other national capitals.

The main focus of the project- to modernize Leonmarkt into the 'smart capital' of Leonmarkt, was mostly achieved with construction projects involving civilian workers and 'construction soldiers' of the Fürstliche Wehrmacht. Smart-traffic management systems, Smart Parking optimization and Integrated Public Safety were some of the main goals of the project which were achieved in the five-years that the project had run.

Although rail connection from Leonmarkt to other Alsbruck towns existed, there was no internal rail system within the city. During the project, a 2.5km six-station underground metro transit system was constructed connecting the Leonmarkt-Hildemar Airport to central Leonmarkt, Leonmarkt's suburbrs and the neighbouring town of Trohausen.

Brief Description and Status of Project (optional):
In 2009 Providence received 1.1B (significant for a small city) in smart grants (collectively the BaySmart program) from the federal government and private companies. The city was aging and the economy was slowing but the BaySmart program provided the opportunity to attract (finance related) start ups and other young talent to Providence - while maintaining the high society, expensive feel of the city. All infrastructure upgrades were officially completed in 2015 and the electric metro transit system was entirely disabled in 2017 as busses failed to fill beyond 30% occupancy. Today, the city has a much more youthful feel and a healthy population growth rate. Start ups popped up across the city with 87% being finance or medical related. The government hopes to implement smart technology on a similar scale in 6-8 more major cities within the next 50 years.

Brief Description and Status of Project (optional): The Schlaustadtprogramm (Smart City Program) of Berun began in 2011, at the behest of HIH Gertrude while she was still studying in the University of Geneva. With a low population and a relatively well-planned infrastructure, Gertrude's programm succeeded in attracting intelligent young talent to Berun, focusing on making the city fit to be the Capital of an Empire such as Frievolk. The Infratructure upgrades were officially completed in early 2018, by the time Gertrude had returned to assume her office.

Brief Description and Status of Project (optional): The King at the time, King Paul, wanted to create a world-class capital city, one where tourists, college students, professionals, and retirees can thrive. Largo Beach was chosen for its large stretches of beach, and its relatively flat land. From 1990 to 1995, the city was built, and in late 1995, the Royal Palace was moved to the new capital. In 2001, when King Paul retired and the Senate confirmed King Alexander (his son), King Alexander endorsed Lucy Fry to be Mayor, effectively securing her election. He challenged her to "make Largo Beach the most luxurious tourist destination in the world. The King put a lot of trust In 2002, Largo Beach University was opened in Largo Beach. It now has over 50,000 students, many of whom have part time jobs as tour guides, hotel employees, etc. Largo Beach University (LBU) is considered the best university on the Island, and focuses on science (although it has excellent business and are programs). LBU also is home to one of the world's best hospitals. In 2016, the King and Mayor Fry got together to update the city again, hoping to add another hospital, and a university focused more on business.

Brief Description and Status of Project (optional): Out of many Smart City projects, Ladenburg is the one with the longest history of city planning - when parts of it had to be rebuilt after the 1970s Unification War, the authorities focussed on a new urban image with maximum efficiency. Also, science and culture got promoted; the University of Ladenburg got extended and a number of research facilities got established. Much of this received funding by the state government of the Rathland and, after the founding of the Federation of Lillorainen in 1981, also by the Federal government. An internet hub got established in 1989, as one of the first ones in Lillorainen. By the late 2010s, a metro system got built up, and the national airport of Ladenburg/Theede is being extended to become the sixth international airport of Lillorainen.
Since the 2018 Ministers' Conference for Regional Planning, Ladenburg is officially the largest city of the Metropolregion Ostrathland-Sielrath, which strengthens the city's cooperation with its surroundings.
It is also in a relative central position within the Lillorainian territory, being the easternmost metropolis of the western main island. Therefore, it is also a traffic hub, connected by the following highways:

A4 - Lillorainen's most important east-west highway, connecting all major cities of the state,
A30 - orbital highway around the city,
A33 - a direct connection to the northern east coast,
A46 - another east-west highway touching the city's territory,
A49 - a direct connection to the north shore,
A59 - one of the highways connecting the north shore with the south shore (going through neighboring Theede),
A68 - a direct connection to the west coast (again via Theede),
A69 - another direct connection to the south shore.
