For my new char, i'm making a hero, because why not?I always play as a villain in these kinds of RPs.

Anyhow, my main idea is an guy that likes to use fancy, usually melee, weaponry.

Really, i just picked it because it was cool. And, honestly, if we were on some cheesy show from 19 something then he could've just call himself DA RETAINER OF JUSTICE!Retainers were basically important, basically free "Servants".

To whoever said bring in Batman I vote no. There's no reason yet as there are no bag guys at the height of their plans. Just say Talia can't get in touch right now as he's away with the JL on a mission.

Well, his only son is dead or pretty close to it, figure that would be a big enough reason to get Bruce home. Then again, I can absolutely see Batman being such a colossal dick that he wouldn't even come back for something like that if he was on a league mission.

But is there a good enough reason for the story to justify him needing it? It doesn't seem like the heroes need much help right now as the villains aren't up to seriously evil plans.

Is the Bat-fam going to break up? I'm expecting Babs to leave, and be angry she is being tracked.

Personality:While Jules is calm for most of the time, he can be rather friendly to people around him.
If he's angry, well he's angry.
Faction: Well, none really, at least for now

Backstory: Jules was born in a wealthy family who had originally came to Gotham in around 1870 when the Third French Republic was declared, an event which caused many noblemen to flee the country in fear of a repetition of the reign of terror, which was still relatively fresh in their minds.
His childhood was relatively easy, he was able to have a great education and pursue many of his early interests due to his family's large amount of wealth.This, of course, resulted in Jules having great knowledge and experience in many areas, a lot of which would in the future at least in theory help him in his second "career".In particular, he had took interest for reading and many combat-related hobbies, such as fencing, several martial arts and whatnot.
Homewever, once his parents had died, the economical situation got worse. He was not a very good businessman in a whole, at least in the beggining of his career, as a big majority of the wealthy, ruling class of gotham city had way more experience and "friends" than the french-descendant Vaurban.
Jules's path to become a gotham vigilante finally became clear after an incident in which after an incident with Gotham's criminal underworld in where when trying to escape he ended up with a cut on his leg, he ended up being forced to limp around any time he was not using an prosthesis on his leg (Luckily, due to his wealth, he was able to find an resistant prosthesis which would allow him to do all the actions that he'd need as a vigilante, giving full mobility and in some ways, a few improvements.)
And with that, a "hero" was born.
Powers/Weapons/Tech: Due to his wealth and skill as a combatant, jules is able to pick from a vast array of cold weapons from many places and times of the world, such as polearms, swords, sabres and much more.
Weaknesses:Unless using his prosthesis (Which, by the way, is basically an crutch for his leg's skeleton), Jules is confined to limp around due to his incident.
Skills:Due to his great quantity of training and studiying, Jules has become greatly skilled in many subjects, including Swordsmanship (and Combat in general), hand-to-hand fighting and etc.

I'd like to bring him in, really. A lot. But it needs to be justified. So if some villains could get on with their evil plans already, that would be great.

But Batman wouldn’t show up for just anybody. It would need to be a massively powerful villain with the capability to endanger the entire city as well know it. Somebody with the resources and ingenuity to perform an act that would make Batman realize the immediate importance of his return. And I believe I know a villain who could do just that. But I can’t play him. I take up too many characters as is.
