When he was became 7 years old his mother gave him an Pokémon egg for his birthday, where a Torchic hatched out of 3 weeks later, and they have been best friends ever since. As soon as he got his first Pokémon Maxx wanted to become a professional Pokémon trainer and at the age of 12 he attempted to partake in the Hoenn league, unfortunately losing to the first Gym Leader Roxanne, after which he realized that it would better if he waited a few years before starting another journey. He and and Torchic have been privately training since then.

A year ago, Maxx and his mother moved to Maderia because of his mother's work. He has just turned 15 a month ago and has decided that now is the time to take on the big league (although this isn't Hoenn) and this time, he won't back down from any challenge.
Personality: Maxx is rather quiet and calm. He doesn't often socially interact with other human beings and keeps his thoughts mostly to himself. However, when he is alone with Pokémon he becomes more expressive. You'd see that he's very kind and caring if you see him around Pokémon or if you're friends with him. However, if he really doesn't like something he isn't afraid to say something or directly intervene. When facing tough challenges he will show alot of bravery and determination.

Sorry, your Torchic is too high a level to have as a starter. I know it fits with the backstory and all, but we like everyone starting on a relatively equal playing field. Also, at the level it'd learn Fire Spin, it should have evolved into a Combusken.
Drop Fire Spin for Sand Attack. Peck is borderline acceptable, at lvl 14. I'm personally OK with Peck, dunno about Mundeo though - you may have to replace that with Growl. Torchic also needs an ability. I see no problems with the Trainer bio.
