The NPA isn't even raider leaning, NPA policy dictates that the organisation has to return a raided region to its original state before leaving (with the exception of fascist regions and explicit enemy regions), effectively ruling out tagging as well as most destructive raids.

Now, where are the accusations that that must mean that the NPA is fenda? It's been a while.

Actually, I think condemning you Azadistan would be more appropriate here. Your nation was the only one in that war that invaded the other party (not counting 3rd parties jumping into the fray), you committed genocide by specifically targeting civilians to murder, and you and your allies still keep the genocide train rolling by indiscriminately killing slaves and ship crews on mass (nine thousand thus far, to be specific). Or does gunning down and grenading unarmed civilians of the nation you were invading not count? Your nation even boasts about it later on too. Im pretty sure it's against some WA Resolution (or many) to go Jihad any nation, hand out frivolous false judicial charges like it's candy, and indiscriminately murder unarmed civilians in mass.

Sure it's easy to shout "terrorist!" as you're shooting them to death for defending their home against jihadis - you know, because they're dead - and then kidnap anyone who survives the bullets and grenades, granting them life sentences in your jails after describing them as war criminals. But are they really? It's funny how everyone in that conflict fighting you were heinous war criminals that need to be condemned, killed, or locked up by some kangaroo jihadi court; though to be fair, many of them probably did in the end. Yet Azadistan, land of the free, never committed any wrongful action deserving punishment by the body it cites, and of course it was always correct on the issues at hand, right? But I guess im just spouting off a rant at this point, mostly because I feel like not enough people have made those factoids clear to you Azadistan and I felt it was about time to chime in a little bit. I don't think anyone needs to really ask if the named individual deserves WA notice anyways

The reason I have been holding off writing another proposal is because I have a feeling (it may be wrong, but I am very risk averse) that the Gameplay community/World Assembly Delegates/Security Council community has been flooded with roleplay/storytelling-based Security Council proposals vis-à-vis the presence/significance of the roleplay/storytelling community in comparison to Gameplay

For me, I want a condemnation or commendation to be a good (and successful) one. It has to also be a fair (and reasonable) one for those people who are part of other communities on NationStates (i.e. why would they vote for a RP based cc?) This was the case with Commend The Macabees. It is better to wait for a wee while than have it be coming to vote and be defeated (the feeling that one would get from such a thing would be a devastating one). It is pretty much a wait and see game now. If I feel that there is a "go ahead, we would like to see more good/well-written and evidence based RP CC" as I did feel when I proposed for Commend The Macabees, then that will be the time for me to put up a thread for another proposal

And also I am a bit iffy about this whole thing - Commend The Macabees was a risky one because whilst technically I was not (and am not) close with The Macabees nor do I regularly talk with the person behind The Macabees, I was still a member of his region. It felt very much like a "they are doing it for one of them/friends/allies" kind of thing. When I put up a CC proposal, it is not because I want to reward anything to anyone - it is because I want to showcase what/the accomplishments that the RP community has produced, and the subject of that CC proposal is one of them.

In terms of a future condemnation proposal, I am not even in a good relations with you - people know that we used to argue with one another in the past, and even now we still disagree about certain things - but even then, as someone who have interacted with you extensively in character-wise, I still must be sensitive to the way other people are seeing this whole thing. I do not want this to be seen as a "reward the people you know" kind of thing. I want people to be happy when they see a RP proposal (and for them to think that that RP proposal is an objective proposal)

I gave a proposal and it was shot down because it sounded like a GA proposal. I kinda wish the SC was more like the GA. It would make it a more usable and give the WA some continuity.

My advice would be to not worry about that too much, Yohannes. It takes so much time to vet a resolution from start to finish and prepare it for the vote that by the time a draft becomes a resolution, the trend of the week isn't applicable anymore! There's a fair amount of Gameplay resolutions in the pipeline.

As for new ideas for liberations, my eye was caught in a morning shift-through with The Middle East and Illuminati. The Middle East is a colony of BLITZKRIEG - it's unclear to me whether Woodhouse can revive the founder.

I will now be planning to start to draft both "Condemn Gholgoth" and "Condemn New Aeyariss"; they are both RP nominees (Edit: Gholgoth region and New Aeyariss nation) and for that reason I would welcome questions from Gameplay players (e.g. "Why do they deserve condemnations?)

I will start with Condemn Gholgoth first and then after that I will start with Condemn New Aeyariss. It will probably take at least 3 months before I will finish each draft as I want to make this one even more well-documented than Commend The Macabees.

Edit2: I will not be asking information/discussing this with members of the Gholgoth region and New Aeyariss; I want this to be a legitimate effort (just like what I did with Commend The Macabees), where I myself research all the information concerning the nominee to show why the nominee deserves a commendation/condemnation (without discussing things in-depth with the nominee)

Edit3: Latest update - after discussion with the player behind Kostrorleauny (I have given the World Assembly Security Council authorship of this proposal to Kostrorleauny), I have agreed with his suggestion that we change the original condemnation proposal into a commendation instead - to also follow the suggestions from members in the region of Gholgoth (according to him)
