Perhaps some description of what the products are like and some background info in place of the ingredients list?

You kind of have to assume that any new customer knows nothing about your product but will want to know so why not give them some notes as to what they are buying?

Perhaps one marketing approach would to get someone to write a food critic's review of a branch opening in their nation. I appreciate that it could be a big thing to ask of someone and finding said someone may be a bigger task but it could be a way to generate some interest.

My storefront is pretty short on design and so forth I suppose, but does it at least look clean and easy to navigate for orders? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23558

Hi Ser Di Haruk,

When I'll get to creating a shipping storefront in future, I will look at your storefront as an example. It's good. Though there will probably be some things that I've missed out/that others will comment on/point out to you

It's a lovely storefront

I was wondering if anyone in GE&T has tried to make a tv network before. I'm thinking of making one, and would like to look at some examples.

I have a factbook for Mine that I hoped to turn into a storefront one day.

However I think the best and most active example right now is Gandoor's GBC. Although it's not so active right now, I think Riysa's KMG is also a good one. There have been a handful of others. They might be able to give you some pointers, and also I would suggest making partnerships with other nations' networks, such as KMG and GBC.

I was perusing through this thread and I thought, why the heck not. I could use some suggestions and critiques for my airport: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=439085

I'm also wondering if over-doing it with the images is a possible issue? I honestly am not sure, I'm pretty new to all of this.

The storefront looks fantastic and the images fit well with the formatting, so I don't think it's a big issue. Maybe somebody with more expertise could give you better advice, but I think its one of the better airport storefronts out there.

Here are some helpful links to storefront guides:
https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16223
http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?p=7030363#p7030363
http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=230277

All can be found in the OPs to the stickies in this sub-forum.
I know nobody likes homework, but really, you should read them as you're bound to get at least a few helpful tips that pertain to what you want to accomplish.

I will share with you this:
Bump your thread once a day if it's not getting patronized, but do NOT use the actual word 'bump'.
Create an advertisement to go in that bump post instead, maybe with a logo, a catchy slogan, or some corporate news or a new product teaser.

When RPing in other forums, mention characters using your storefront products (driving your company's cars), ideally with a hyperlink back to the storefront and/or the post the product would be found.

Lastly, find related industry storefronts and post partnership proposals on those threads, using a formatted IC letter. There is likely a supplier storefront out there somewhere you could utilize, or vice versa, another business you could supply. Rental agencies use cars, but all sorts of companies have corporate fleets or motor pools. If all else fails, buying their products and TGing to set up a 'quid pro quo' might be an option. Hope that helps.

I'm looking to make improvements to my two airport threads, particularly Dioned International Airport, which I feel is a bit messy in its layout. Any suggestions?

I need help on making my RP Currency!

Postby Saint Zamer » Mon Jul 09, 2018 1:56 pm

Hi, my Currency is going to be made out of coins, these coins will be made of actual material's, to prevent inflation and an economic disaster, we are a first world nation, that is Libertarian!

I barley import the materials to make my coins, either.

Anyway, I need help with values, and how much coins should be worth...

I do not want any one cent coins, five cent coins at least!

Coins I want:
Copper coins. (like a penny)
Silver coins.
Gold coins.
Platinum coins.

And I definitely need more ideas for coins, like smaller coins, bigger coins, etc. So please, I need your help!

It would cost either MONEY or enough stamps saved up. As I'm guessing there's no way you have enough of the latter stored up, you'd probably have to open up the wallet.

If you design them off of coins, it's probably gonna be more expensive considering you'll need the mineral resources to manufacture them. Regardless, it will depend on the currency's worth and how it's designed. If you want basic figures, I would copy the US system in their bills figures. For anything under $1, you could go with 25 and 50 cents. I hear coins are getting cheaper based on the material used, but if you want to save costs, I would stick to fewer numbers of coins.

This might be helpful, at least a bit. Make sure to set it to names and values.

Happy to help. DonJon is good too for randomly rolling up stuff too, though most of it is for TTRPG's.

How much should each crown be worth?

Postby Saint Zamer » Mon Jul 09, 2018 4:54 pm

One shilling is 1/100th of a Crown... I guess?

1,00C = 1$

The 1 shilling coin is gone.

Coins:

5 shilling coin. (0,05C)

10 shilling coin. (0,10C)

25 shilling coin. (0,25C)

50 shilling coin. (0,50C)

1 Crown Coin (1C)

2 Crown Coin (2C)

5 Crown Coin. (5C)

10 Crown Coin. (10C)

15 Crown Coin. (15C)

20 Crown Coin. (20C)

25 Crown Coin. (25C)

50 Crown Coin. (50C)

100 Crown Coin. (100C)

1000 Crown Coin. (1000C)

Example, say a soda costs one and a half of a Crown, the price would be,

1,50C

Soda in Zamer is actually only with 1C tho.

The Issue is, how much should each crown actually be worth? So I can ajust the currency in stores and translate it.
