Name: Tanzanite Davidson
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Rainbow Warden)
Appearance: A combo of this and this
Young Blood?: Maybe?
Bio:
There had always been a vibrancy to Tanzanite Davidson's life. Ever since he was born to Robert and Georgiana Davidson, his life had been filled with abundance and vibrancy. In their small apartment on the outskirts of Seattle, Tanzanite was showered with love and affection during his developing years. He remained the only child of the Davidsons, and while he was sometimes lonely, his formative years were filled with warm fireplaces, hearty food, and brilliant colors. It was the latter that remained with Tanzan. From as far back as he could remember, every Friday, the Davidsons would sit on their porch and watch the night sky roll over dusk like an unfurled map.

And as Tanzan grew, art became his passion. He saw art in every little thing, art in architecture and the cosmos alike. Art was creation and more than anything Tanzan wanted to bring something new into this world, something that would make young and old alike laugh and cry and smile. And so, he began to paint and draw. At first, it was scrawled crayon drawings of dinosaurs and of the Davidson family, at which his parents and relatives would coo at in the way parents do and hang it up with magnets on the fridge. Then it was colored pencil sketches of the sky and the world, and watercolors of lakes, and then a mural of the night sky. He heard talk of commissions and art competitions and future, things he couldn't comprehend? Didn't they understand that this wasn't supposed to be another job? That art wasn't supposed to be the sort of thing that you work in a tiny cubicle from 8 to 5 before braving the evening traffic and eating McDonald's in front of the TV? As more and more talk of his "talent" and "potential" grew when distant relatives came over, Tanzan grew more and more agitated and frustrated, until one night, he snuck out of his room into the city, creating the first public art of his life: a graffiti mural. He himself wasn't really sure what it all meant at the end of it, he had simply taken 5 sweeping brushstrokes on the side of a skyscraper. But people saw it as something, as a symbol, and as possible interpretations were circulated, it became local news. And so Tanzan went out again, creating the same pattern or symbol or whatever it was on another skyscraper. He was selective about the venues for his art, and as million-dollar companies realized they were the target of Brushstroke's 'graffiti' in their words, the danger, and thus, the thrill grew.

But it wasn't to last. One night his parents caught him sneaking out and accused him with their suspicions. Tanzan had been slacking off chores, forgetting to do his homework and his grades had been slipping. To his shock, his mother thought he had superpowers, while his father thought that he had joined a gang. They were both wrong, and Tanzan explained so, revealing that he was Brushstroke, but that he didn't have superpowers (yet). His parents agreed to keep his secret, but only if Brushstroke had an early retirement. And so Tanzan returned back to school work and monotony. He did, however, find joy in the traveling that the Davidsons did. However, on a visit to California, Tanzan was wandering around a museum when a fight between two superhumans he had never heard of broke out. The seventeen-year-old got caught in the middle of them accidentally, and due to a blow to the head, was knocked unconscious and when he woke up in the hospital, he couldn't remember who or where he was. Some strangers were in front of his face begging for him to wake up. Why did they seem so familiar? And why had one of them cried when he asked them who they were? They were strangers, right? A nurse ushered them away for the moment, and suddenly he felt lonely. For hours he struggled to recall his life, and his story, but as the day slipped away into the night, he was left as unmoored as those ships that could not see the radiance of the blue lighthouse he had spotted far away.. And then, as he gazed into the night sky, that blue, no, indigo light seemed to draw closer and closer to him until he saw a crystal break through the window and hang in the air above him, seeming to judge him. Finding him worthy, it swooped down to his open right palm, throbbing. For some reason, Tanzan reached out to it, or at least tried to, before he screamed in pain as the crystal burrowed into his palm. And as he faded away into unconsciousness, he heard a deep, considering voice say:

Remember who you are.

Powers:
  • Warden Physiology: As a Rainbow Warden, Tanzan shares a bonded existence to one of the colors of the universe, Indigo, which represents Memory. As a result, he has acquired powers that are so related to memory. Rainbow Wardens also gain the ability to fly and survive in space and do not require food or other forms of sustenance. His physical capabilities have also increased slightly.
  • Adoptive Muscle Memory: Tanzan can replicate any movement he has seen or done, whether it is in movies or in real life, allowing him to pull off some pretty cool moves or literally retrace his steps. However, if his body is not conditioned properly, he won’t be able to replicate it. Also, this does not apply to flight.
  • Memory Manipulation (Projection, Sharing, Absorption, and Suppression): Tanzan can manipulate both his own and other's memories. Firstly, he can project his own memories to someone else’s mind. He can also copy the memories of others and implant them into, or absorb them, and he won’t forget them, no matter what, because he remembers everything. Absorbing memories, if he’s not careful, can lead to an overload of memories, and that can mix with some of his own memories, making him unsure of whether all of his memories are true or not. He can also create fake memories and implant them into another person, however, the transition is not perfect, and if something is off, the recipient will be able to tell that it is fake. Tanzan can also suppress the memories of other people, but he can’t erase them.
  • Object Creation: Tanzan has the ability to produce nonliving objects from different exposed parts of his body.

Limitations:
  • Adoptive Muscle Memory: Why this power has a lot of potential, Tanzan's own human limitations and bodily conditioning limits him. If he starts trying to pull out some crazy martial arts skills without having the stamina and the experience to pull them off, he will fail.
  • Memory Manipulation: His abilities to manipulate memories have express limits. First of all, his memories can only be projected to one person at a time. His ability to read and copy the memories of others can be dangerous, because similar memories may overlap with his own and cause him to lose a sense of himself and whether his own memories are true or not. His ability to project false memories to another person's mind can be resisted and is not flawless, and upon careful examination, can be revealed to be false.
  • Object Creation: All the objects that Tanzan creates must be nonliving, and must be projected through an exposed part of his body. Also, because of the laws of physics, he cannot create these objects out of thin air. Thus, they are produced through the lipids within his body once they are broken down. That requires him to eat a lot in order to create multiple objects. Finally, as all of his powers are linked to memory, so is this power. Tanzan needs to remember the exact molecular structure of the object he wishes to create.
  • Rainbow Wardens: All new Rainbow Wardens are watched carefully, and there are mechanisms known to senior RWs to lock Tanzan's powers, should he go rogue.

Weaknesses:
  • Lack of Fighting Ability: Tanzan doesn't know how to fight, like at all.
  • Memory Dependence: All of Tanzan's powers depend on his memory in some way, and all of his powers require careful study, practice and time to develop. When caught by surprise, Tanzan has little in his arsenal to not lose. As for his adoptive muscle memory, while he will be able to eventually replicate fighting moves, he can't be as good as the original source, in the end, he's only copying things.

Vancouver Vixens
The Vancouver Vixens are a relatively new group of heroes, founded only three years ago by four superhuman women in the heart of Vancouver. Inspired by the American Justice Queens, a group which all four members looked up to, they were created with the collective goal of not only stopping metahuman crime in the crowded urban areas of Western Canada, but also empower women to take on more roles in both the metahuman and non-metahuman justice system, donning the derogatory term “vixen” as a symbol of honor and power. Despite their relative inexperience and few members, they have built somewhat of a reputation for their power, mostly due to the excellent teamwork and chemistry the foursome have. However, as of now, their range of influence is limited to British Columbia, due to lack of funds and allies. In fact, they are another controversial figure among NASL, with many claiming they are dangerous rookies, and are too young to be fighting off villains in such a manner.

Chicago Windwakers
Representing Chicago, the "Windy City", a nickname which echoes in their name, the Windwakers stand out from other NASL teams for a number of reasons. The group originates itself from a team of immigrant superhumans of Eastern European, Jewish, African-American and Hispanic origin who joined forces to combat the various gangs in the city as well as stand against anti-super prejudice. Even today, the Windwakers are among the most diverse superhero teams on the globe and openly campaign against prejudice in America and overseas, making them one of the most politicized, and thus controversial, teams in North America.

The Windwakers have a very strict member selection process - however, all of their members have working chemistry and team cohesion is very high. As such, the team relies on united effort and playing off each other's superpowers rather than individual strength in battle.

Atlanta Guardians
The Atlanta Guardians are a unusual team in the NASL, seemingly not as interested in competing in the Tournament and even not showing up a couple of years. They are organized in a Mentor/Sidekick fashion and while based in Atlanta they operate in Atlanta, Augusta and Savannah GA. Also, members of the Guardians are 'unpaid' in the sense that each member forgoes their hero salary and is donated instead to charitable causes. Forcing members to work jobs to support themselves. This has made the team very unattractive to up and coming hero talent and is often passed over and looked down upon. However, to the communities that call this team their Guardians, they are a ideal to heroes to aspire to be.

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:

Young Blood?: No.(Outriders)
Bio: Nicholas was born with the worst luck on the planet. Even before his birth, his life would forever be changed by forces beyond his control. His mother, a rebellious and impressionable young woman found herself in a cult. A secret society which worshiped the demons. Well, one night they prepare a ritual, a ritual which requires the 'offering' of a pregnant woman to their savior in exchange for being gifted with power. The ritual was a long ways from hocus pocus. In fact, it worked. No one knew it at the time, but when Nicholas was born, he had actually set his home on fire. His mother managed to get him out of the house in time, but everything else was lost. However the unnatural fires, burned for three full days. Never once threatening to go beyond the boundaries of the home, but refused to yield to the fire fighters. Scared for her son's life, she told her cult that he died in the flames. And hid him away from the world as a small child. But she was too afraid to leave the cult herself. Nicholas seemed to be sick however even from an early age, but she could not take him to a hospital for fear of the cult discovering him, so she would have favors of favors called for a doctor to make a house visit. And each one would say that the boy would not have long to live, but that his ailment was beyond knowing.

Despite this, he continued to live until he was three years old. Until a day when he was finally found out by the cult, they came for him. However his mother had just enough warning to ensure that he made it to the state in an orphanage, under no name or record and delivered by an anonymous friend. Nicholas never saw his mother again. And if you ask him, he does not care to. What few details he does know about his early life came from a supposed family friend who tracked him down a few years ago. Nicholas has long since believed that his mother had simply wrote him off, and despite learning more about his past than he ever did before. Nothing was uncovered that would give away that his mother had sent him away to save his life.

Nicholas, 15 now, knew that he was dying and there was nothing he could do about it. He now knew why he could do so many bizarre things and why he had frequent nightmares which kept him from sleeping. Making him an insomniac. He also started smoking because if he was destined to die by 30...Why the hell not? Nick picked up an interest in computers from a young age, and decided to develop that skill to take up his time. By the age of seventeen, he was routinely hacking for both a hobby and a means to pay bills. On his own now and living in the rough side of the bad side of town. His life was a constant pattern of no sleep, cigarettes, hacking and the occasional intoxication. That is until he met a young woman by the name of Alexis Cain when he was 18. Alexis had recently moved in down the hall from him some time earlier. But the two had never spoken once. Until one night she suddenly asked him to let her in his room, acting to be his girlfriend.

This was the night that Nicholas became the first recruit into what would eventually become the Outriders. A team of vigilantes who fight to protect the city of San Diego through means and methods which are highly illegal. While Alexis is the De Facto leader of the team, it is Nick who makes everything tick behind the scenes. Now provided with a sense of purpose to his life for the first time. Nick is dedicated to helping Alexis clean up the city in her own vision.

Powers:
  • [Demonic Magic]: (Nicholas can tap into the demonic dimension to brandish magic from that world. His potential for power is great, with study and training he could harness demonic summoning, demonic transformation, demonic warping through 'Demon Gates', throws fireballs of demonic flame and many other abilities which are too numerous to list)

Limitations:
  • (In his entire life Nicholas has never once showed an inclination to tap into his latent potential and shows no signs of doing so anytime soon. And if he waits long enough, he will be dead before he can become proficient anyways. At the moment, Nicholas is capable of only conjuring up flames from his hand, and he only uses this to light a cigarette should he lose his lighter)

Weaknesses:
  • [Divine Magic]: (Divine Magic can destroy Nicholas, and is to be avoided at all costs)
  • [Doomed to Die]: (Simply by possessing the power he does, he is cursed to die young and his health is steadily declining. His body unable to contain the hellish flames it holds)

Name: Mayla Carter/Wonder Warrior
Age: 33
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance:

Young Blood?: Coming Soon as a combat instructor
Bio: Mayla Carter was born Mayla Yeong Bak to North Korean refugees who settled in Atlanta, GA. Born in the golden age of heroes she had an admiration for them and dreamed of nothing more than being super like them. So, in her early years she constantly fantasized about when her powers would materialize and what they would be. But by the time she was twelve, she had come to the conclusion that she was not going to develop super powers. But, that was hardly a hurdle for her. If she would not develop super powers, then she would acquire them. Now to most any rational being this was utter nonsense. But Mayla was not to be deterred. It did not take long for her to run across some texts which explained ki energy. A natural energy that all beings possess. Which when channeled can improve the human condition and accomplish some amazing feats. Or so the books said. Believing she found her answer, she took up martial arts and practiced almost obsessively.

This continued for three years until she actually managed to smash a moderate sized stone with her bare hand. She had also fractured several bones in that hand, but it was honestly a feat which even the most practiced martial arts master had not been able to achieve. This was not some cement brick, but a large stone. Continuing her training she eventually learned to fire blasts of energy, although quite weak themselves and fly, but only short distances. She was not 16 years old and was convinced that she had progressed far enough to begin a hero career. And so she dropped out of school and began her heroics.

Luckily for her, a new team of young heroes was formed just before she finished her training. And heard that it was led by a promising hero with a bright future. She eagerly tracked this team and their leader down and what she found was...chronic disappointment. Sure there was a super hero team, a team of five individuals led by what she dubbed a 'normie' as she found out. Despite the other four members all possessing powers, she felt let down that the then 21 year old Sentinel, the oldest of the group and the one leading had no super powers. She had so looked forward to all of the training he could help her with, but when reality hit she had decided that she had already far surpassed anything her leader could do. Despite this, she did join as she did have at least four other supers to practice with. Thus, she took the name Wonder Warrior and became the youngest hero of the team.

Over the following two years however, she began to see Daniel in a different light. She first noticed that he always seemed to be busy, and never really saw him to just take time and relax. If he was not preparing a mission, he was studying for law school, if he was not doing that, he was training, if he was not training, he was looking after his young daughter. She could not believe he ever found time to sleep, let alone operate as efficiently as he did. She saw that he was modest, and never one to brag or throw his weight around. That he had a keen mind, was very intelligent and made time for each of his teammates even juggling being a hero, a law student and a single father. All of this made the 'normie' seem very...super to Mayla. And when she was 19, the couple married.

Over the years since then, Mayla has been many things. Throughout her early 20s, she was a active member of her husband's team the 'Atlanta Guardians'. However, as she passed 25 she started to take more time with the family, and only worked as a part time hero. And by 29, she had retired entirely. Her children finally old enough to not need her 24/7 so she decided to find a new way to improve the world. She did so by opening a dojo, one that would pass on the skills she knew. It did not take long for this dojo to attract a promising student with Mustafa Gaul. Someone that Mayla saw great potential in. She took the youth in, and trained him for four years and believed that he could be the one to finally take up her husband's mantle. These hopes however were dashed when Gaul abandoned the dojo and traveled to San Diego to become a villain. Finally, unable to stand aside and watch her pupil continue to fall of the edge, Mayla has traveled to San Diego to try and bring the boy back to her dojo and family.
Powers:
  • [Ki Manipuation]: (Mayla can harness ki to enhance the physical being of her body to mid superhuman levels, even to a state which she has called the 'Awakened State' giving a massive power boost equal to a high level superhuman)
  • [Ki Projection]: (Mayla can concentrate this natural energy into what are essentially energy blasts)

Limitations:
  • (Limited Energy: Mayla only has a finite amount of ki within her body and must rest to restore such energy after battles.)
  • (Glass Canon: Mayla, despite her incredible power is still technically a normal human. If she is not actively enhancing herself through her ki she is as easy to kill in a surprise attack as any woman in her 30s)

Weaknesses:
  • [Double Edged Blade]: (Mayla's most powerful state of being 'The Awakened State' damages her own body. Therefore can only be used in short bursts safely, in extended battles upon exiting the state she will discover potentially deadly fallout depending on how long she used it. Most recently, a battle with Gaul in the state which lasted less than ten minutes was enough to land her immediately in the hospital after the fight)

Likes: Her family, the Atlanta Guardians, fighting, training
Dislikes: Villains and cooking(Daniel is the cook at home)

Name: Tadeo Baltasar
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance (pics if possible):
When doing some magic, large constructs similar to what we would perceive as wings appear on his back, but they serve no actual function. It's just a natural biproduct of some of his spells.
Young Blood?: He's in San Diego and probably going to frequent there so I mean yeah.
Bio: Tadeo was born in a small mountain village in Colombia. His childhood was mostly a happy one, but it wasn't long until his parents became worried. He would see things that weren't there his entire life: small people, animals that talked, gremlins tearing up the garden. All nonsense, or so they thought. Until one day, when their grandmother passed, she began to haunt the home- peacefully I might add, but her chair would rock when the windows were closed or the faint smell of her family recipes would waft through the kitchen. One day, Tadeo was able to make his grandmother visible to his parents, and she was then able to pass on to the next life. With his newfound power, he helped around his village, trying to aid in the various problems like pestering bogarts and the occasional angry spirit.

But his life as a small time protector of his people was ripped from him. When he was young, a paramilitary group (ENTER NAME HERE) swept through his village and only her managed to escape through the clever use of his teleportation spells. Since that day, he has been traveling across the Latin world, solving small time incidents like hauntings and angry fae. His claim to fame was actually curing a case of Chupacabra-ism, the first magician to actually cure instead of banish or kill a creature like this. This earned him a spot as Fae-kin from the Lunar Court, an honor virtually unheard of among the human magical community.

Recently, he has been searching for an untaken yet useful spot on Earth to use an a base of operations, and his search has brought him to San Diego.
Powers:
  • [The Sight or The Sense]: (Tadeo was born with a natural sense for magical energies, spells, and the interaction of our dimension and others. It isn't an encyclopedic knowledge, but instead a form of lower cosmic awareness that can manifest through sight or other senses. Generally, he can detect magical presences and huge imbalances in the multi-verse or the presence of dimensions that are close to our own.)
  • [Magic Tricks]: (Most Wizards practice magic by reading books or carefully calculating their actions. Tadeo is not most wizards. Because of his Sixth Sense, he understands magic on a more intuitive and natural level. Through approximation or through his line of work, he has picked up a number of smaller survivalist spells including but not limited to healing minor wounds, teleportation, small stuns/faerie fires, or even tending to the health of the natural world in a short area.)
  • [Fae-kin]: (In Tadeo's role as a traveling medium, he caught the attention of the Fae and has been granted the title of Fae-kin, a role not usually extended to humans. This carries with it a magical signature unique to the Fae, and allows him to be more accepted in their spaces as long as he returns to the Moon occasionally to syphon off some of his energy. As a result, he also has access to the knowledge and language of the Fae, allowing for the few structured spells he can manage.)

Limitations:
  • (Tadeo has a lot of trouble paying close attention or fine tuning his magics. Sometimes, unintended consequences of his spells can interfere with his desired outcomes. He has dyscalculia, so using some of the older western interpretations of alchemical magic is largely beyond him. Given his lifestyle, he doesn't have much in the way of a formal education.)
  • (Very little direct confrontation magic beyond his ability to stun enemies and to create small floating flames. He is not particularly strong physically, instead relying on outsmarting his opponents should confrontation arise.)

Weaknesses:
  • [Shadow/Dark/Demonic Dimensional Energies]: (The energy signatures of demonic or eldritch beasts give off an unsettling sense for him, like a bad spell or a creeping fear. It can interfere with his effectiveness.)

Likes: Plants, traveling, being a medium, discovering new magic
Dislikes: Stuffy old wizards, math, electronics

Reb, change all mentions of Heaven or Hell to holy/divine and demonic/infernal or whatever other adjectives of your choice. We prefer not to assert that there is any single Heaven or Hell in-universe.

The rest seems fine. Same to Aidan.

Name: Ellery "Elle" Bastion - SHADOWKILL
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance :
Image

Young Blood?: Yes
Bio: Hailing from Death Valley, California, Elle represents the latest generation of the -Kill vigilante family. Her grandfather, famed WW2 hero Lastkill, first obtained his powers while nearly bleeding to death during D-Day, after being contacted by the demonic spider-like entity known as Bael. Bael's deal was a simple one: the Bastion patriarch would have been cursed with awesome superhuman powers, at the paltry cost of "being the edge of his sword" in the earthly realm. Lastkill promptly abided, but creative interpretation of the contract's conditions permitted the war veteran to fool the demon's actual wishes: cladding himself in an all black uniform and donning an M1 Helmet with a skull facepainted on it, Lastkill proceeded to violently punish and dispatch Nazis all over the continent with his newfound powers, granted by respecting a crucial condition of the deal: Edgyness

Coming back home in 1945, Lastkill settled for a calm life in Death Valley, enjoying the pleasant extreme desert climate. However, his son Bob Bastion soon found out that Bael's curse had been transferred onto him too. Against his father's wishes, the newly christened Overkill fought as a vigilante all over the planet: dispatching Mafia dens in New York, fighting Vietcongs in Laotian tunnels, engaging Soviet troops in Afghanistan, raiding Columbian drug lords and blowing up Saddam's WMDs so well the US didn't find them in 2003, you name it. As usual with the Bastion/Kill family, Overkill soon found love and fathered a lone, cherished girl.

Unlike his father, however, Daddy Bastion did not nail the skullmasks to the porch, and brought little Elle onto his vigilante crusades worldwide, Bael's curse transferring on her too. The Doublekills carved a controversial place in the Cape world for their violent methods, which often resulted into Overkill being brought to court, keeping Elle alone in her superheroics. Alas, Shadowkill had always exhibited a much more lever-headed attitude than her father, leading to much displeasure from him and Uncle Bael, ever pissed about the trickery the Bastion family had captured his service with.

The latest lord of edgyness in the Kill Family, Elle ended years of homeschooling a little after her dad fell again in troubles with the law, enrolling in Thomsen High's senior year. Joining a clean-cut registered group such as the Youngbloods had always been one of her aspirations, hoping that a new start could cleanse her from the black mark of vigilantehood.

Powers:
  • [Adaptive Muscle Memory]: "Monkey see, monkey do. Every physical move I see, I can quickly learn to replicate on my own. This applies to advanced martial arts and combat systems too. I'm no hulkster though: don't expect me to lift skyscrapers or get well out of a ten-story suplex on concrete. This also applies to my shooting skills."
  • [Regenerative Healing Factor]: "A.K.A. the reason I'm still alive and in one piece after all the shit I went through. Cuts heal themselves, blood coagulates by itself, I can even reattach lost limbs even if it hurts like hell. I may still need some degree of hospitalization and painkillers. Also don't expect me to survive being splatted or shot in the brain, that's too much."

  • [Hyperspace Arsena]l:: "Bael has set out a region of the nether realms to host a military's worth of guns, hardware and ammunition. Lots of it. Flick of a finger and I can teleport whatever I need. I don't like killing, and ordered him to stock it out with rubber bullet, softair and even nerf guns."
  • [Enhanced Reflexes]: "Yeah, when things get heated I start seeing things bullet time. Mind, time doesn't slow down for others, it's just me working my ass out."
(Note, you do not have a maximum or minimum of 2 powers. If you don’t need all those, delete them. If you need more, copy and paste.)
  • [Demonic Empowerment]: "I was literally cursed from birth by a demon, which meansthat I can't get depowered easily through scientific technobabble rays and whathaveyou. The drawback is that the deal forces me to be an edgy fuck or my power will temporarily shut down. Yeah, it's not the best of deals."

Limitations:
  • My powers depend entirely on keeping up my Edgyness. If I ever so act cutesy or do "softy" stuff I'm back to being a normal schoolgirl. You can see how that can be a nuisance.
  • I've basically saddled myself with a no-kill rule, unlike daddy. My powers are mostly oriented towards killing people, so you can see how it can be another drawback.
  • I can probably kick the ass of most humans including peak conditioning spec ops soldiers, but I start getting issues with superstrong or superdurable opponents unless I resort to powerful weaponry.
  • I have bad publicity due to my family ties. You can expect suspicion from civvies and police when the team is set about dealing with them. I'll try to do my best to keep my fame down, but unfortunately it's pervasive.

Weaknesses (Reasons why someone could kick their ass):
  • [Edgyness Failure]: "If I don't listen to my daily Slipknot playlist, I literally get depowered. That's how much it sucks."
  • [Human Body]: "My body is pretty much baseline outside of my regeneration factor. I can get split in half, break all my bones and get brain damage like everyone else. It's why I prefer to fight from a range"

  • [Annoying Demon Spider Sidekick]: "Bael is fucking annoying. He tends to butt in conversations, scream at me when I'm not being edgy enough and generally being an annoying little demonic spider. He can impair my concentration and even taunt people during tense confrontations, leading to fights. Absolute nuisance.

Likes: Long walks by the beach, kittens, Chicago (the band), going out for ice creams at Santa Monica pier, Texmex restaurants, guns, cars, J-pop and anime, Adventure Time, carefully ironing her cloak and cleaning her battle gear, going to fishing trips with her dad
Dislikes: Being pigeonholed as a brutal vigilante by her father, murdering people, racism and bullying, Slipknot to every degree, having to keep her Edgyness vow, Bael being an annoying loudmouth, Bael teleporting the wrong gun from hyperspace

Young Blood?: Not yet, but he will.
Bio:

Born in Anchorage but raised for most of his life in Japan, Zach was an American-Japanese kid. His father and mother met while worked in Sony, his mother was the American in this case. Since his parents worked for a gaming company, Zach got the perks of trying out the games from Sony, and thus began the life and career of Zach Katariki as a gamer. Zach made a career on game, but he also went to the senior high. At this point he had a bright future, as a gamer. He spent a lot of time in gaming tournaments, being known as an expert in Counter-Strike. He also has a YouTube Channel. What made him good, however, was the fact that he made a speed-run record for Pepsiman and he became an avid fan of Pepsiman, even made a fan-made game and petitioned for a remaster of Pepsiman.

Pepsi, recognizing his status, and with the rise of superheroics, decided to jump to the bandwagon. They developed an exoskeleton suit that looked exactly like Pepsiman, and have Zack played it out as the mascot hero of Pepsi. At first, despite being an expensive ad project, it was a success. Zack became the role model for children, though the lack of actions gave him a mixed response. In response, Pepsi gave him some basic training at being a good hero including combat abilities, and thrusted him into actions. He succeeded, but soon after Pepsi demanded more from him and he found himself in a situation that is beyond his capability. Zack was entrusted to San Diego, per Pepsi's order, to buddy buddy with Warwolf for some good PR.
Powers:
  • [Pepsiman]: Through a collection of Pepsi cubes that can be converted into liquids and small cans, Pepsiman is able to produce Pepsi cans for drinks.
  • [Pepsi Collections]: He can also store Pepsi cans inside him whenever he collected it, by squeezing the cans to small size and up to 100 cans.
  • [Exoskeleton]: The exoskeleton provides him with speed, strength, and armor to make him stronger, faster, and more armored and also to make sure his Pepsiman moves suit well with the narratives.
  • [Basic Combat Training]: Zack has the basic training of martial art, mainly boxing.

Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t end the universe):
  • Zack is very weak without his suit, and even with his suit has limited combat applicability.
  • Zack's civilian skills hardly matters in the world of superhero, with gaming ability and YouTube Channel not providing enough.

Weaknesses (Reasons why someone could kick their ass):
  • [Limited Combat Applicability]: Really, the Pepsiman act is supposedly only for PR and advertisement, so it has limited combat applicability beyond the exoskeleton, Zack's, and the Pepsi production.

Likes: Gaming, YouTube-ing.
Dislikes: Drinking Pepsi, ironically.

Am slightly skeptical of edginess theme if I am being honest. I think part of it is I dont see how being edgy at all fulfills the contract beyond the initial pun. But I suppose a jokish character couldnt hurt the RP and it doesnt seem poorly written in anyway so I'll put personal preference aside on the bio part of it.

I think my only concern with the powers is the hyperspace arsenal. It has no weakness or limitation and is easily the strongest power she has. So I just need that to be limited in scope and potential in some way and then I think I can accept.

I can see that and I offer to negotiate it like this:

1. The demon can't find really specific items aside from a small everyday loadout. Everything else would need days of search. This eliminates the problem of making Elle an insufferable gadgeteer with a tool for everything.

2. Anything bigger than a rocket launcher is going to require some serious lifting from the demon to transfer it from dimension to dimension, which basically stops Elle and Bael to willy nilly plop down warships and tanks on people.

3. Bael is not always the most cooperative. This functions as an ICcly explanation for why, taking the two points above in consideration, Elle can not summon an highly specific tool or even get resupplied all the time. Demon tantrums.

I hope it's enough.

Name: Stefan Erza | Titan
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:

Young Blood?: No.
Bio: Like many young, hopeful, starry-eyed teens, March 18th became the worst day of Stefan's life, as he and the world saw the true nature of villainy and unchecked celebrity-worship of heroes become reality. The Death of the Wonder Warriors shocked and appalled the fifteen year old, and set him down a path of darkness that he has yet to recover from. Like many youngsters, he looked up to the Wonder Warriors, wanted to be them, wanted to imitate their heroism and selflessness. He started helping out in his community and being a hometown hero first before even discovering his powers, that was the kind of person Stef just wanted to be.

Shortly before the Massacre, Stefan had unlocked his potential as an electrical manipulator, and this meant that real heroism wasn't just an after-thought. He could be standing side by side with those very people he looked up to, so he left suburban Los Angeles and traveled to San Diego in order to make a pitch to join the team, but arrived at a crime scene instead. With a broken spirit and a shattered viewpoint on reality, Stefan soured and turned dark, identifying all villains with the tragedy that befell the Warriors, and armed with his new powers, sought to eliminate all of them. Rather than take the route of vigilanteism and outside of the law, Titan decided to make his powers and identity known to the U.S. Government, who quickly recruited the youth into their superhuman program.

For the next four years, Stefan underwent training to serve the United States Military as a private, super-powered contractor to by-pass laws that forbade superhuman involvement in foreign military action. He first saw combat at age nineteen, disrupting a civil uprising in Belize through his actions, which in turn lead to minor scrutiny on the international stage, but his reputation was solid and his legality in operating outside of the United States was affirmed. He would serve another four years in the military, earning several promotions, gaining invaluable experience, and seeing action across the globe as he fought in secret wars waged by the nations of the world and their off-the-letter superhuman contractors.

Leaving the service with distinction at age twenty-three, Stef kept his codename "TITAN" and turned it into his hero moniker, debuting with high hopes in 2007 as one of the highest rated members of the NASL's "Freshman Class". He would refuse recruitment into the League and many offers to sign on with highly ranked teams in favor of continuing solo hero work. In the following year, though, many would-be supporters of Titan would turn against the hero as his nature and extreme brutality against villains became apparent. He was rigorous and dedicated to hunting down and eliminating villains, some of whom were either outright killed or nearly so went brought to proper justice by the hero.

Titan would rise and fall in the North American Hero rankings, as he would go long periods of inactivity as he researched and planned against villains and villainous organizations, but his dedicated work and power displays earned him respect among the superhero community and even earned him fear among the villains he hunted. Still, Titan had constantly tried to uncover who had killed the Wonder Warriors for the past ten years of his own solo hero work and exterminate them himself, using his military credentials to access information he normally would not have. His leads would constantly dry up, and upon witnessing the rise of Orion and Mustafa Gaul as villains, as well as the meteoric rise of the Young Bloods hero team, Titan saw too many parallels between each organization to allow Orion to make a move against the teens. He's resumed activity in San Diego, and forming his own team of heroes specifically recruited to fight Orion, he will not stop until his goals are accomplished.

Powers:
  • [Lightning Manipulation]: Known as the Living Lightning, Titan is capable of generating and wielding immense charges of electrical energy, but his most unique power is his ability to convert matter he comes into contact with into electrical energy - essentially allowing him to convert his 'body' and objects or people he comes into contact with into lightning and transport them over vast distances in the blink of an eye.
  • [Enhanced Combat]: Years of military training has placed Titan in a special place among those who prefer to work and fight with their hands, as he's able to go toe to toe with martial artists and similarly trained foes with comfort. To add to his martial ability, Titan infuses his own powers and moveset to create a deadly combination of raw destructive ability.

Limitations:
  • Lightning cannot move through a vacuum, and requires higher voltage to jump through the air as it is a natural resistor, mean Titan requires larger amounts of energy to make meaningful attacks. Too little energy, and he'll barely be able to make sparks.
  • Once it leaves his body, his lightning can be re-directed by highly conductive materials like copper, gold, and most metals as they act as natural ground pathways. This can lead to his attacks being sucked away from their intended target or nullified.

Weaknesses:
  • [Insulation]: Rubber, Silicon, Wood, and other things that do not conduct electricity very well are naturally resistant to his attacks and superpower.
  • [Magnetic Forces]: Strong magnetic forces can re-direct and entirely change the state of his electrical discharge because lightning and electricity work through a state of electromagnetic field, and a change in that field can produce a wild number of effects.

Name: Walt Bismarck
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:

Young Blood?: No.
Bio: The Infamous Walt Bismarck is often seen as a man who will lead humanity into a new technological age, his public relations department very keen on promoting his activity in repairing, rebuilding, and construction across the nation and across the globe, utilizing unpaid robotic labor to reduce costs to the bare-minimum for his contracts. He did not start life as a multi-billion-dollar business tycoon, he began life as a shy child in suburban Denver. He kept his nose stuck in books for most of his childhood, reading everything he could get his hands on, and recalling everything he had read, heard, or seen with unparalleled clarity.

His intelligence was quickly noted by teachers and doctors, but many were unable to describe it as a 'superhuman' feat, as the label still had negative connotations and affects at that time. Still, Walt was afforded the chance to learn at higher institutes and had greater access to knowledge that he quickly devoured, finishing his school early and going on to higher learning. He had visions of robotics and automated machines, and delved deep into their construction and early development in the 1990s while he was in school, designing, programming, and building his own rudimentary robots in that time. At some point in time, though, he was confronted with the possibility that his robots and machines would be weaponized and used for war, and had to choose the direction to take his research.

Rather than trust a government-funded research grant or the myriad of technological giants that itched for the man's genius, Walt started his own business out of his parent's garage in 1998 at seventeen, Bismarck Automation. There was some local interest in the company, but larger corporations and firms wished to buy-out the business or smother it entirely. Walt was unphased, and made several proposals to cities, towns, reservations, anywhere that a problem was arising, Walt offered his robotic designs as a solution. His first few contracts put him on the map as a well-rounded designer and automater, his technology decades ahead of the competition and able to solve labor issues, monetary issues, and create sound engineering ahead of schedule. He designed and built several rural hospitals for Native American reservations, and used the experience and money earned to catapult himself and his company to greater heights.

At age 21, Walt Bismarck became the youngest billionaire in the world at that point, using his funds to create several branch company's and divisions of Bismarck Automation, in turn heading the Bismarck Group, a corporate giant heavily regulates it's internal robotic affairs and it's numerous child companies. He continued on as creative head and lead technologist for his Automation, Robotics, Cybernetics, and Engineering companies, guiding and directing his corporation to become a world leader in construction, robotics, and renovation projects. He gained controversy for the first time with his Superhuman department's activities and development, wherein he promised a robotic police force capable of retiring every hero on the East Coast in the next ten to fifteen years.

Backtracking his statements, Walt re-oriented the department into a research and evaluation division, assisting superheroes with their activities and aiding super-villains in rehabilitation. However, his thoughts were still rather firm in creating a world where the populace didn't need to don suits of armor and go into the night to prevent crime. However, his largest and most secretive move in that direction is the apprehension, elimination, or identification of the group behind the Young Blood Massacre, of which, he is one of the most able and cunning men to uncover the secret Reckoning. Now, he is looking at ways to confront or convict the group in order to make his legacy into reality before he's even dead, and what better force to fight villains than other villains?
Powers:
  • [Supernatural Intelligence]: His only power, Walt Bismarck is leagues ahead of most men and supermen alike in the brains department, using his smarts to construct devices, machines, and execute precision planning all on the fly if need be. He is so capable, the rare occasions he leaves his underground fortress, the armored suits he dons are often called "mobile labs" due to his ability to construct and adapt on the fly and with limited resources. While he greatest talents are in robotics and advanced technology, he possesses hypercognition and is able to be a master at most brain-related activities.
  • [Robot Creation]: One of the more notable powers of Walt, the man is able to create and maintain a vast army of robots that he can use for nearly any purpose, even going so far as to imitate his likeness and serve as stand-ins across the globe. As a matter of fact, the flesh and blood Walt Bismarck almost never leaves the security of his headquarters, and works mainly through machines, so when most people are saved by his robots or he gets into a fight, it's Actually a Robot.

Limitations:
  • Physics: Walt is not so lucky as to be able to break the laws of physics or use magic, so he is limited with what resources he can muster and what things he can do under the broad spectrum of science.
  • Connection: Since Walt never leaves his house, there can be delays in the execution of orders or instructions for his robots, or his connection can be severed entirely.

Weaknesses:
  • [Human]: Walt is fairly normal physically, nothing exceptional at all except his mind. He can easily be dispatched in-person.
  • [Robot]: Most of the time, Walt will send a single drone to respond to large threats, and once they're dispatched, he's out of the fight unless he sends reinforcements. Funnily enough, Walt seems to lack impressive technology in favor of immense firepower, but his true heroics shine in the repairing of damage to cities and urban areas after devastating fights, wherein he uses his robotic drones to rebuild in a few weeks' time.

Sorry for any typos.

Race Name: Enforcers

World of Origin: Planet Alcyoneus 9C0C

Territories: Most Enforcers are located on the planet of Alcyoneus 9C0C, which itself is located in the distant NG-344 Galaxy. A select few (two, namely) are located elsewhere, including in the Milky Way galaxy.

Race Appearance: An Enforcer's shape an appearance is usually dependent on the unit's preference and programming. Some units will have a much more militaristic and sharp appearance while others will be much less aggressive with a more rounded appearance. All Enforcers share a basic humanoid body shape, at least two or more appendages, and an overall shiny and chrome-like exterior of Tacitice, the versatile metal they are composed of. Eye color and vocalizer tone will distinguish individual units from one another.

Description/Lore: The Enforcers are an industrious and sentient robotic race originating from the machine world of Alcyoneus 9C0C. They have maintained relative isolation due to the fact that their homeworld was located near the black hole of CW-027, unaffected by it due to its own generated pocket of subspace, making it otherwise unaffected to normal space. Despite this, the Enforcers on Alcyoneus 9C0C have maintained an exceedingly high level of technological superiority compared to their neighboring systems due to the fact that Alcyoneus is constantly upgrading itself by taking matter from other planets for use in systems elsewhere. For all intensive purposes, Alcyoneus is a sentient mechanical planetoid, able to sustain itself thanks to a powerful dark matter core and incredibly intelligent computer mainframe. The Enforcers were created by Alcyoneus to serve the purposes of Maintenance and Security and, being machines, required no sustenance to function. As such, the Enforcers could be industrious without rest, maintaining and securing their sentient machine homeworld around the clock.

What little that is known about the Enforcers and their history comes from the accounts of the extra-galactic race known as the Synchronous, a now extinct and powerful race of technologically-advanced, bio-mechanical beings, whose religious motives oriented around a belief that transcendence would be unlocked through centuries upon centuries of selective breeding and switft technological growth. The Synchronous, however, had steadily begun to stray away from their zealous beliefs and looked towards a more exciting one of raiding and plundering, which eventually brought them to the doorstep of Alcyoneus 9C0C, a planet within their reach. This would later turn out to be their biggest mistake.

The Synchronous' hubris eventually led to their demise when their forced entry of Alcyoneus ended in the destruction of an entire expedition fleet, after Alcyoneus suddenly produced thousands of new warrior-class Enforcers that completely eliminating the invaders. Following this, two brand new Warriors, CORE and PLEX, were launched to the homeworld of the invaders themselves to quell their threat. These new warrior-class enforcers eventually brought about the ultimate destruction of the Synchronous as a species, quelling the threat for good. While Alcyoneus itself only grew larger and more prosperous thanks to the industrious efforts of the servant-class Enforcers, the warrior-class Enforcers would continue to be sent out on their missions, evaluating and eliminating threats that Alcyoneus deemed to be significant obstacles to its survival.

Race Powers:
  • [Robot Physiology]: Enforcers require no food, water, sleep, or other forms of sustenance due to their robotic nature, and are capable of operating indefinitely thanks to powerful dark matter cores. Thanks to their armor, they can shrug off damage that would otherwise destroy tanks, effortlessly lift large objects that would otherwise necessitate the use of heavy machinery, and deal blows that can easily smash walls to pieces. Their sense of sight and hearing, in particular, are upgraded as well, with an Enforcer able to see both in the infrared and thermal spectrum and locate objects from afar. They can also survive underwater, and in a vacuum.
  • [Tacitite Armor]: Enforcers are made of Tacitite, a durable, heat-resistant alien metal found on Alcyoneus that is otherwise non-existent on the periodic table. The metal is capable of withstanding heat up to 4000 degrees Celsius, and covers the entirety of the Enforcer's body. Its versatile nature allows an Enforcer - especially a warrior-class Enforcer, to shape its body into a variety of geometric shapes or proportions, or even stretch or compress limbs to fit the occasion. Limbs can be modified to form barrels of energy cannons or blades, or fingers, at will, and can also link with most computer systems thanks to its adaptable nature. This adaptability also allows Enforcers to adapt to incoming attacks and damage which, albeit not entirely, allows them to gain an extra advantage in terms of survivability. To compensate for its weight, many Enforcers have been shown to modify their armor into spoke-like objects, thereby improving their mobility.
  • [AI]: Due to their robotic nature, Enforcers are known to have vastly superior intelligence to other life forms; the "Mind" of a single Enforcer is comparable to that of a Supercomputer, thereby allowing it to make expert and calculated battle strategies on the fly and in half the time of a human. Their AI nature also allows them to access computer systems that they interface, taking in huge amount of information in seemingly instantaneous lengths of time. Enforcer minds are capable of coordinating with one another, with two enforcers thinking in unison able to increase their already impressive minds twofold.
  • [Dark Matter Attacks:] Enforcers by default are capable of channeling energy from their dark matter cores into devastating, explosive dark matter attacks, which increase based on the amount of energy, though costs much more energy to use depending on the power.

Race Limitations:
  • An Enforcer is only capable of adapting to one incoming damage type at a time, meaning that, for example, an Enforcer cannot adapt to water-based attacks and electricity-based attacks at the same time.
  • Although their dark matter cores allow them to run indefinitely, Enforcers who use their cores excessively to create dark matter-based energy attacks are susceptible to "powered down" states, in which they may remain inoperable for short periods of time until they are recharged.
  • The mobility of an Enforcer can only go so far - limbs can only be stretched for about 12 feet or so, and require that some matter from somewhere else in the Enforcer's body be diverted to compensate, which may leave open spots.

Race Weaknesses:
  • [Weight]: Although quick to move and react, Enforcers are not the fastest robots out there, with Tacitite being a rather heavy metal as much as it is versatile, some Enforcers will need to go the extra mile in shapeshifting and modifying their body just to gain an advantage in speed.
  • [Single-mindedness]: Although sentient, Enforcers are usually single-minded in their tasks, sometimes stubbornly so. This means they will go to often dangerous lengths to complete their tasks.
  • [Magnets]: Metal manipulators will have a field day — Tacitite, although tough, allows Enforcers to be thrown around like toys. In addition, EMPs can easily take down an Enforcer for a short amount of time.

Young Blood?: Nope

Bio: CORE, alongside his brother PLEX, were two new warrior-class Enforcers created from Alcyoneus 9C0C to defend from the incoming threat of the Synchronous and other dangers facing the planet. In other words, he and his brother are kill-bots, sent out to investigate threats located and assessed by Alcyoneus 9C0C, both close by and afar, in order to eliminate them before the threat would grow out of control. In comparison to his brother, CORE was always the more hot-headed and militaristic one even by appearance alone, programmed with a true warrior personality and penchant for violence in comparison to his brother's more reserved, calculating demeanor. He is — and has always been — the more brutal but cunning out of the two.

CORE showed no mercy to the Synchronous when they invaded their homeworld, bringing about the destruction of the Synchronous in the process of razing the world and putting it into Alcyoneus' position. He and his brother both grew in power and intelligence, with CORE personally absorbing many of the Synchronous in order to progress his strength to the next level. Only recently did the two discover Earth, a backwater planet in an otherwise uninteresting part of the Military galaxy, though with an exceedingly high threat level according to Alcyoneus for unknown reasons...

Powers:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: CORE has all of the powers and abilities mentioned in the application for the Enforcers.
  • [Threat Absorption Device, Internal]: CORE's rather large and wide default shape allows him to absorb most inbound energy-based attacks, via the Threat Absorption Device located in his chest cavity. Upon opening his chest cavity, CORE will be able to use the device to absorb the energy of inbound energy-based attacks, capturing and converting it into usable energy. This captured energy is later converted into a form that CORE can use, either to power himself or his own attacks.

Limitations:
  • Standard Enforcer Limitations
  • CORE's Threat Absorption Device is only operable when his chest is open, and is subject to overloading from constant attacks such as beams.

Weaknesses:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: As an Enforcer, CORE carries all of the weaknesses shared by all Enforcers, namely being poor mobility, susceptibility to magnets and EMPs.

Bio: PLEX, alongside his brother CORE, are two new warrior-class Enforcers created from Alcyoneus 9C0C to defend from the incoming threat of the Synchronous. In other words, he and his brother are kill-bots, sent out to investigate threats located and assessed by Alcyoneus 9C0C, both close by and afar, in order to eliminate them before the threat would grow out of control. In comparison to his brother, PLEX was always the more reserved and calculated one, often being more inquisitive and focused on asking questions than he was focused on actively trying to rip the arms off his opponent. Some might say that he was a regular warrior-class Enforcer that was simply updated to serve the role as a warrior, but this is not true at all. In fact, Plex is the more cunning but brutal version of his brother, more likely to rip the arms off of the enemy and beat them to death with them than he is to simply punch a hole in them, like his brother would.

PLEX and his brother showed no mercy to the Synchronous when they invaded their homeworld, bringing about the destruction of the technologically advanced race in the process of their invasion. They later razed the world of life and put it into position for Alcyoneus to simply devour the planet. He and his brother both grew in power and intelligence, with PLEX gaining deep knowledge on multiple different species that the twins fought and defeated. Recently, their spacecraft entered the otherwise uninteresting Sol system on approach to the planet of Earth, a backwater world with a seemingly ridiculously high threat level, according to Alcyoneus. PLEX could only wonder was to why such a world carried such a massive threat level to it...

Powers:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: PLEX has all of the powers and abilities mentioned in the application for the Enforcers.
  • [Threat Assessment Device, Internal]: PLEX carries an internal Threat Assessment Device, a powerful tool that, along with being able to identify targets of interest and high threats with ease, is able to increase his defensive capabilities in combat. After seeing an enemy attack, the device will scan and assess the attack and the opponent thereby disabling the "lag time" usually found in an opponent's first strike in combat against the Enforcer. In other words, PLEX's Threat Assessment Device can assess opponents based off of their attacks, allowing him to adapt to counter the attack before it would damage him, and furthermore allowing him to formulate a strategy and adapt to the largest threat at the moment. This also allows him to retain the knowledge of attacks, for use later on. Of course, this is not without limitation.

Limitations:
  • Standard Enforcer Limitations
  • PLEX's Threat Assessment Device, when active, will only create one adaptation for one ability, meaning that PLEX must try and adapt to multiple things at one time of he were to be attacked from multiple sides. Knowing the limitations behind an Enforcer's armor, this is impossible.
  • Individuals with more than one ability can bypass the Threat Assessment Device easily, by using said ability. In other words, someone whom has strength and also fire abilities can bypass PLEX's TAD by using the fire abilities, whilst PLEX adapts to counter the strength.
  • PLEX must actively see the foe's ability if he were to come up with a counter with the Threat Assessment Device.

Weaknesses:
  • [Enforcer Physiology]: As an Enforcer, CORE carries all of the weaknesses shared by all Enforcers, namely being poor mobility, susceptibility to magnets and EMPs.

Race Name: Architects | "Children of The Ethereals" | Ethereal Children
World of Origin: Realm of Elysium
Territories: Elysian Archipelago
Race Appearance: The Architects appear entirely humanoid with some exceptions while utilizing the powers bestowed unto them by the Nexus. When directly utilizing the powers of the Nexus will the eyes of an Architect glow a certain color that is based off of their personality, beyond this, Architects appear identical to humans.
Description/Lore:
Like many other species during the Age of Barbarism, the story of the Architects was one of trial and tribulation. Born into a Galaxy at War with itself would the Children of the Ethereals find surviving this galaxy wide conflict extremely difficult, unlike other species which numbered in the millions or even billions, the Architects numbered approximately ten thousand individuals scattered throughout the galaxy. Over the nearly a century would the numbers of the Architects decrease from ten thousand to only a few hundred, their very existence at risk if they would have been continually exposed to the war. However, as fate would have it the Miracle of Sigma Galli Prime would occur, with two Architects known as Asumar and Kazuko Masaki having built an Intergalactic Ark in an attempt to take those who sought to survive the Age of Barbarism away from the Aquila Galaxy and resettle on a world outside of the galaxy to live in peace once more.

As would be expected, droves of people seeking a new life away from the wars ravaging the Aquila Galaxy would make their way towards Sigma Galli Prime, especially what remained of the near-extinct Architect race. However with the sudden influx of people flocking to Sigma Galli Prime would unwanted guests also make their way to the world to pillage and capture slaves for menial work and yet with the key of their salvation now at risk would the refugees do the unimaginable" unite together and fight for their right to live, to fight for survival. It is said that the Battle of Sigma Galli Prime was one of destruction where two sides driven to desperation would clash against each other. Eventually however the refugees would be able to hold off the barbaric forces long enough for the Interstellar Ark to launch from Sigma's orbit and begin it's exodus to a habitable world.

With the refugees having placed themselves in cryogenic stasis to await their arrival to the nearest habitable world for them, the Ark would journey through the intergalactic void for more than a thousand years before stumbling upon the Sol System in the Milky Way Galaxy, finding that the nearest habitable world was a small blue and green world known only as Earth. It would be at this point that the refugees would slowly awaken from their stasis as the ship entered the atmosphere of the Earth, this of course would gain the attention of the international community, who, fearing a potential extraterrestrial invasion would dispatch the United Champions to approach and investigate the vessel for any indications of hostilities.

However instead of facing off against a hostile enemy, there were faced with a group of curious and fearful refugees from another galaxy, one of which being the Architects, one of the smallest group of refugees encountered by the United Champions. Unlike the other groups aboard the ark, the Architects responded with cautions curiosity, prepared for a fight, but also interested in the world that they had landed on. As would be expected, the nations of the world responded apprehensively to these new arrivals, with many outright refusing to accept these refugees into their borders, desperate to end their millennia long exodus from the galaxy that they called their home, the Architects were desperate to find a place that they could actually call their home, but as fortune would have it, a cluster of islands would serve as the answer they were looking for: the Elysian Archipelago was strangely strong with the Nexus, being one of the only islands to house the exceedingly rare mineral known as Celestium. Anxious to settle down and live in peace, the Architects sent a plea to the United States, the nation closest to the Archipelago to settle the island for themselves and the refugees.

With it becoming clear that the refugees were nothing more than a fearful flock seeking a new home, the United States would eventually accept the request of the Architects, giving them sovereignty over the newly formed Elysian Enclave.

Race Powers:
  • The Nexus: Abundant in the Aquila Galaxy and beyond, The Nexus is essentially a jack-of-all-trades magical force that could grant a variety of powers to all, not being restricted to a singular power that it could bestow to those who used it's power.
    • Sorcery: - Self Explanatory, as The Nexus is also Magic -
  • Hybrid Physiology: Created as a result of the combining of the DNA of an Ethereal and a Human, the Architects are a hybrid species that have inherited the superior endurance and condition of the powerful Ethereals, especially the Supernaturally dominant Condition of the Ethereals, giving them enhanced stamina, stregnth, and durability.

Race Limitations:
  • The Architects have a lower fertility rate than humans, which is just marginally sufficient to maintain the continued survival of the Architect race.
  • Like all Sorcery, it must be learned and mastered sufficiently before it can be used properly.
  • The war in the Aquila Galaxy has adversely affected the vast majority of the Architects, who are hard to come to trust other individuals without suspecting an ulterior motive is at hand.

Race Weaknesses:
  • Celestium Dependence: Acting as a receiver to the realm of Elysium, the Architects are especially dependent on the deposit of Celestium buried underneath the main Elysian Island. If the deposit is destroyed either through natural phenomenon or directly, the Architects and their connection to The Nexus would be weakened significantly, with some even possibly outright losing said connection.
  • Low Fertility Rate: - Read Above -

Additional info: The vast majority of Architects are seen as spiritual leaders in the Elysian Islands due to their knowledge in fields closely related to The Nexus.

Name: Elysian Collective
Type: The Elysian Collective is a relatively small nation inspired off of the functions of the United States, where each island within the Archipelago has it's own Provincial Governor and has some form of autonomy, but will ultimately answer to the Federal Government, namely the Elysian Federal Council, which is composed of Provincial Governors and Community Leaders that are responsible for creating the laws that the entirety of the Collective is expected to follow.
Location: The location of the Elysian Collective is on the aptly named Elysium Archipelago, a chain of approximately six islands located approximately five hundred miles from the Californian Coast
Population: Roughly 1,275,000 (as of 2016)
Notable features:
  • The Elysian Collective has an Embassy with the United States.
  • Because the Aquila Galaxy was abundant with superpowered individuals, the Elysian Collective does not view superheroes with any of special treatment, but rather treats them the same as any other individual within it's community.
  • While desiring to stay out of international conflicts, the Elysian Collective has not only established a rather small Defense Force, but has also Implemented a policy of Isolationism and Neutrality,
  • Having been formally invited to join the United Nations as a permanent member, the Elysian Collective has outright refused these offers, instead obtaining permanent observer status in 2007 under A/RES/62/279.
  • The advanced technology that had been achieved within the Aquila Galaxy during the Age of Barbarism was passed onto the Elysian Collective, essentially making it one of the smallest First World Countries in the world.
  • The Elysian Collective is essentially self sufficient and self sustainable, having only ever relied on international aid for the first few years following it's founding.
Year founded:
  • Main Island Established in 2002
  • Archipelago Established in February of 2006
  • Obtained Permanent UN Observer Status in 2007
Active heroes/villains of note: Aside from the Order of The Nexus, which is predominantly a Spiritual and Religious Organization, there are no other active heroes or villains.
