History: During the founding of First Republic in Spain, the republic's western provinces were outraged of the inefficiency of the central government.
The "Glorious Revolution" deposed Isabella II of house Bourbon just a year earlier seeing the weakness of this unfit government, the provinces of Aragon, Valencia and Navarre declared their independece and united to form the Kingdom of Aragon, with a noble from Valencia, called Stefan at their head.
This rebellion was successful and Aragon achieved it's goal of restauration. To boost his popularity Stefan went on campaign against Naples in 1844. Aragonese armies swiftly captured Sicily, however crossing the strait of Messina, they faced relentless resistance. Eventually, in the Treaty of Bari, Aragon would optain Sicily and war reperations from Naples.

You would use a reservation if you're interested in a nation. Some people who use reservations are interested in a particular nation, but don't have the time to start an application. An application would be used in order to get accepted, while a reservation prevents other players from starting an app before you get the chance to.

That does make a lot of sense actually. I originally didn't even have reservations, but I added them since some people were asking to reserve a nation. Though, I still feel it would be kind of unfair to Oculis Omnium to suddenly change that now.

That does make a lot of sense actually. I originally didn't even have reservations, but I added them since some people were asking to reserve a nation. Though, I still feel it would be kind of unfair to Oculis Omnium to suddenly change that now. 

Yes indeed but from my experience people have a tendency of making reservations and never finishing their apps.

Best reward those who actually make the effort of finishing an app rather then those who tag and reserve and never contribute to the roleplay.
