Because that's...necessary...how? Threads doing really get deleted, to be honest, and if the applications are linked properly in the Roster there's not that big of a need. I just think it's rather weird with the thread first impressions.

Name/Alias: The Crow / Rashida Al-Ansari
Age: 23

Appearance: Image
Personality: Rashida Al-Ansari is cold, calculating, and nearly silent as the Crow. She speaks only in short sentences and only when the situation requires it. She is a loner that does not ally herself with those she considers her lessers. For her, these include those she feels are unstable, immature, or unprofessional. She is also secretive, keeping her motivations and identity secret. Primarily a cat-burglar, she believes that others who have come before were mostly unprofessional.
Faction: Independent
Affiliation: None, considers herself the successor and superior to Catwoman, something that as far as she knows Catwoman is of not unaware.
Race: Human
Backstory: Rashida Al-Ansari is a second-generation American whose father was a Moroccan immigrant and whose mother died shortly after she was born. Her existence was largely miserable. Her father was abusive in her early years and when the abuse stopped he was dying of cancer and she was not yet a teenager. When he died she had no family to speak of in the country and found herself in a foster home. The foster home was better but cramped and it was there that she began to feel as if she didn't have anything that was hers. It was always shared between her and her foster-siblings or it was her foster-parents'. This changed when she was on a trip to a mall and saw a beautiful ring for sale. Being relatively quick she managed to snatch it from a display and removed the various alarms that would prevent her from walking out in a dressing room. Finally, something was hers. Even though this initial shoplifting was successful, it took her a while to become good at shoplifting and there were several run-ins with the law as a juvenile, though none of them led to prosecution.
The Crow's emergence was relatively recent. Rashida's meager job, working at a small pawn shop, does occasionally offer some rather interesting finds. Gotham is somewhat known for it's interesting and seedy underbelly. It was through this, Rashida assumes that is from this that her grappling hook was acquired. It was certainly from a rather shifty individual that claimed he had found it. She accepted it eagerly as a plan came together. At this point in her life, she had become proficient in thievery and was becoming increasingly aware that she needed an alter-ego. Piecing together some of the more outlandish clothes that had come into her possession she created a costume with a mask and black feathers. She would become the Crow by night and become Gotham's most successful thief.
Powers/Weapons/Tech:
- Judo: Rashida took judo classes and became quite competent in judo while a foster child.
- Grappling Hook: Rashida built her costume around the grappling hook, quite a sophisticated piece of tech actually "found" in South Gotham. She has used it to
- 9mm Semiautomatic Hand Gun: Rashida is a decent shot.
- Military Knife
- Various Thieves Tools
Weaknesses: Rashida's overconfidence is often her downfall. She is very competent at judo and thievery and a good shot, but her ability to fight with a knife is quite limited. Despite that, she never misses the chance to fight with it. Her fierce independence further weakens her as she is often unable to look over her perceived superiority to take advantage of partnerships that would be of benefit to her,
Skills: Expert Thief - Able to bypass most security systems, open locks, and break codes.
