Name: Blackmaw the Predator, "Mortimer"
Age: 36
Species, Clan, Class: Garou, Black Spiral Dancer, Homid Galliard
Appearance: Human, Crinos
Personality: As a Galliard, Blackmaw, or known more by his human alias "Mortimer", is surprisingly cunning compared to those of his kin, considering that most of the time, Spiral Dancers are looked upon as reckless and extremely violent. The latter part isn't entirely untrue for Mortimer, as he can be ruthless at times. Sociable and charismatic, Mortimer has many friends and can easily create new ones, although he also has the potential to break or even foil relations before they even started due to his very random fits of rage that often comes unexpectedly and without any obvious cause.
Biography:The Hive of Moths was a sept of the Black Spiral Dancers situated in the slums Los Angeles, acting as the base of operations for its crime syndicate. In the crime underworld, the hive was known as the "LeBlanc syndicate" and regularly competed with other crime organizations that plagued the City of Angels for no other than money, power, and territory. Members of the hive, both Garou and Kinfolk, all took their part to further the hive's cause. It attracted Pentex's attention and before long, the hive was taken under its wings.
At the same time, however, it also attracted others' attention, namely Hunters and other supernaturals that weren't happy of the hive's growing power. Skirmishes occured in the streets of Los Angeles under the cover of night. Shootouts, drive-bys, bombings that took many lives. The hive took the heaviest of casualties. About two-thirds of the hive's original numbers were decimated, and what was left of it simply retreated back into the dark.
One of the surviving members was a young boy, not yet given a name as the boy hadn't gone through the ritual of dancing the Black Spiral. Pentex instead went on the initiative and gave the boy a name for them to call; "Mortimer". The name eventually stuck as time went on, although he personally chose "Blackmaw" as his name after dancing through the spiral. The Hive of Moths, or at least what was left of it, was nurtured by Pentex after its' near-destruction. The hive bred soldiers and warriors for Pentex's First Teams, and Blackmaw was personally chosen as the officer of First Team 15 due to his prowess.
After a while, Blackmaw rose through the ranks of his pack as Alpha, supported by Pentex itself. Some tried to object but were ultimately subjugated. As a reward for his loyalty and ability, Blackmaw was named CEO of the Mothman Agency; a security service provider based in Hollywood, which in truth was just another clever guise used by Pentex to cover up their dirty operations. Due to this, Blackmaw, or "Mortimer", was now considered among the many Pentex executives, albeit an unlikely one. After a few years consolidating his power, Blackmaw sought to further himself.
NPCs: Mothman Agency (consisting of humans, fomori, and some War Wolves in their basement) and his pack of Black Spiral Dancers.
