Well...Ed sounds like the kind of guy that would know other security guards. Maybe they all hang out at the same bar. So, he's sharing drinks with one of his friends, a security guard at the docks, tells him that he's got Friday night off and strange thing is, so do a lot of the other guys. Ed thinks this is hinky and figures he might want to check it out as Gunslinger.

Does that also not mean their brain is too small to hold any information, or logical thought?

We need to hammer out the relationship backstory for the particular versions of Dick and Babs we're playing. We can do that here (unless you prefer TGs) because I'm sure that everyone here would love to have D&Bs dirty laundry aired out in OOC. They're probably getting their popcorn ready.

Mycharacter's vast intellect is too large to make smaller thoughts, I am virtually ineffective against the Atom.

I'm really liking the Atom but he does seem a bit overpowered for the roster of heroes and villains we got. So, I'm thinking of adding a couple of weaknesses, namely, even in the Atom suit and no matter how small he is, he still can be affected by gas and sound attacks. Also, villains that have metabolic powers (mind control, ageing), they still work against him no matter his size.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Like I said, I'm throwing it out there for discussion.

I was honestly just thinking about doing the standard kind of "they know each other from work" kind of thing but where's the fun in that am I right?
If you've got anything you want to have regarding their past put in then shoot some ideas and we'll figure it out.

Those weaknesses are perfect. Am I accepted then?

Well, pardon me, Mr. Smarty-Pants. I guess Merrymaker is just too over-qualified for the rest of us dumb bastards. I hear Masterpiece Theatre is looking for a supervillain.

The size of an atom seems to small. What about the size of an ant?
