Hey could I ask? What’s the tech level here? Do we have flying cars and laser guns being a norm now? Or are we still at the point of “we have advanced tech but we still use land cars, machine guns and conventional tanks”

I have something coming up with Riddler and Merrymaker that Gunslinger could get involved in if you're interested. Also hoping to rope in White Seraph/Samurai, Edict and Crimson Thorn. :)

You scared me for a second, with "The Queen . . . IT'S YOU!".

I was actually planning her to have been in a musical version of Hamlet, so I suppose she is Queen Gertrude now.

Good work!

He has some kind of plot he wants the Riddler and the Merrymaker to be involved in.

Also, why am I picturing the Riddler-Penguin meeting as just this scene?

Hahaha, no, Tam, Oswald would never allow Riddler to be so impertinent as to lean on his desk. The nerve! Also, quick post for ya.

Did you read the rules? Yes

Name/Alias: Urbanovsky Yaroslav (Slava) Larionovich / Father Frost
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Standing at 6’ even, Slava is a man who has some little height to him and is built as one would most normally expect from a Russian gangster. His musculature is well-defined and well-able in the cracking of heads, tanned skin noticeable, and the scars on his body just as much. With a brown beard and medium length hair he doesn’t look as old as he is on the first glance, though thin strands of gray can already be seen forming about the man’s face.
Personality:
His personality is devised in a simple goal: “The Job Will Not Fail.” It is by this moniker that Slava goes about his business with, concerned entirely with the idea that if the job is taken, it will be completed and it will be completed to the client’s satisfaction. Of course this has it’s limits, with reasonableness only going so far, yet customer service is of a great concern to the Russian. That sort of news spreads to others who might have use in his services, after all, and drumming up more business is good for business. While he has no qualms of breaking the law, he finds that the murder of innocents who have truly done nothing wrong to cause wrath on them to be distasteful and, as such, prefers to simply not do those jobs. Murder is one thing. Murder without cause is another.
Faction: N/A
Race: Human
Backstory:
Born in Moscow, Russia, Slava was one of those individuals whose early life was one of family. His father was a Reserve Officer with the army, a guy who went out every once in a while to drive a tank and get talked-to about such things as tactics, and his mother stayed at home with the veritable army of children. Smuggled goods would come in every so often, courtesy of his father’s connections to the Russian Mafia. At the time they were considered to be a good person to get in with, an employer that held some small views on the comfort of their people, an employer that had connections of it’s own. Things didn’t happen Russia without some small measure of their say-so, after all, and those people were powerful. Slava grew-up in this life, drinking bitter tea and listening to music from the United Kingdom, stuff like the Beatles and Rolling Stones. It was a most interesting time, one where the innocence of children provided for a stalwart defense against the vast world of inadequacies. A lack of toilet paper was viewed as fact by Slava, not as a poor concept that could be better.

At a young age, like many people, Slava would join that very same mafia as an enforcer, as hired muscle for jobs that might require heads split or blood spilled, and found it to be rather comfortable. He murdered, yes, but for the vast majority of the time he simply stayed still, looked pretty, developed his muscles. Death and mutilation were means of providing examples and the people, for the most part, knew where the Russian Mob stood in the power structure and precisely how small of an impact their resistance would make upon it. Slava took up, like the vast majority, smoking and drinking, becoming rather proficient at both. He took up women as well, just like that same vast majority.

However, when the Soviet Union collapsed, when the whole country actually went to shit, all bets were rapidly off. Slava got out, ran to the Ukraine, and there he decided that a change of pace was required. He’d done his life rather well, yet he’d never actually made a little bit of a mark. Implementing his skills in mechanical matters, along with enlisting the aid of two former colleagues of his who were both of the rather smart variety, the creation of the Voyennyy Korabl' Mk.1, or VK1, suit of powered armor. Well and fully armored, with the utilization of military-grade plating, and well armored with the aid of several contacts within the Russian Army, Slava has since then begun to operate in a mercenary matter, getting rid of problems in the manner that most fit them, in a manner that most certainly ensured that they were dead.
Powers/Weapons/Tech:
  • Tech
    • Voyennyy Korabl' Mk.1 Powered Armor: Designed under the intent to engage enemy targets at range or in close-quarters environments, the VK1 is built as a machine should be built. Standing at fifteen feet tall it fully encompasses the ‘pilot’ in armor plating of the style used in T-64 tanks. The suit is sealed, airtight, though presents a rather lumbering weapon as far as speed can be concerned.

The suit is armed with a pair of Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-23 23mm autocannons mounted on the arms, in the position just above where the back of the hand would normally be placed, and these jut-out at a rather impressive distance. A pair of automatic AA-12 shotgun emplacements, heavily modified for integration into the suit, are mounted along the inside of the arm. Grenade dispensers of the style used on tank turrets and hulls are integrated into the system’s shoulders, three on each shoulder and two on each knee. Integrated into the suit’s ‘body’, along each side of it, are mounted four 9K121 Vikhr launch systems, two on each side.
    • Modified Body Armor: Utilizing lightweight plating which provides a lesser degree of protection than the greater norm of ballistic plating used by armed forces, this suit is concealable enough to be hidden underneath the vast majority of clothing and can be worn while inside the VK1. This piece of armor consists of a breastplate only, both front and back, along with an integrated oxygen supply and gasmask if the suit fails in those regards.
  • Weapons:
    • AK-74
    • M1911
    • Izhmash Bayonet
  • Vehicles:
    • Blue Subaru Impreza
Weaknesses:
Possessing no immense talents in the way of powers, having no special abilities, and being just a normal Russian with an AK, Slava is not a man who likes to be outside of his suit while in any form of potentially combative situations. He is, furthermore, slow and somewhat cumbersome in his suit and moves at the pace one would expect for a regular human to move, as Slava is most certainly not a supersoldier nor a professional athlete. Lastly, the Russian has a degree of love for alcohol developed during his time spent in the Russian Mafia, though he never drinks on the job.
Skills:
Slava has the skills one would most associate with a bruiser, capable of dealing and taking punches with little difficult and standing his ground when things go south. His skills, however, are most certainly not of the fine arts that one would associate with Tae Kwon Do, instead utilizing heavy portions of Systema, quite literally The System, which is based in firearms and knife fighting, along with grappling. He has had significant experience in firearms training over the years of his life, both with the aim of killing and for sport.
