Welcome to Punch! The perfect place to voice your obviously perfectly original and well thought out political opinions which will surely change the world once posted on the internet or simply just update on the status of daily life in your nation to show the world how much a utopia it is!

The punch is a Filipino social networking account created by a bunch of Cebuano, Ilocano and Moro computer science students at the University of the Philippines. It has been a great social media site for spreading thoughts while other people judge the post as likeable or not by spreading "PUNCHES". Often the most punched post becomes the one featured it the site's homepage. Other posts are sorted out depending on the category chosen for the post. Politicians have often used to utilize the punch as a tool to spread their ideologies and such. The punch generates a significant revenue for the Philippine economy, (around 3 billion S or ₱ 7 billion bayan pesos) which is charged from telecom providers who in turn charge internet users. It is a 1.5% share holder of the net worth VMK AG storefront after a recent deal. The total amount of generated money as a consequence is likely to be greater the originally estimated.

Malacanang scraps use of AGENCY GB bold typeface

---

The Malacanang has recently announced the decision to scrap the continued use of the bold AGENCY FB typeface, which has been the bayan government's main font applied for official use. It comes after suggestions from an anonymous letter from students in Ateneo de Zamboanga university which stated that ending the usage of AGENCY FB bold font will save ink that could fill 3 entire Olympic size swimming pools annually, and to count the cost of printer ink in our time, that's a lot of ink and money wasted. The Malacanang however said that it will continue to use AGENCY FB though will use only "leaner" versions of the font in an effort to preserve the "Asigna" atmosphere in their writings and communiques.

Not a new idea?

The idea may seem bright and all though the credit of the life hack cannot be owed simply to those particular Ateneo students. A similar letter had already been made before in the United states. It all started as a meager suggestion by a teenager in America, when a 14-year-old student Suvir Mirchandani suggested that he could save the US government as much as much as $400 million dollars (£240m) by simply changing the font in official documents it seemed like the perfect lifehack: simple, elegant, and one in the eye for wasteful bureaucracies the world over.

Mirchandani’s hypothesis, published in a student-run Harvard journal, was that by switching from Times New Roman to a narrower, smaller font (He chose Garamond) the government would be using less of their precious printer ink - a liquid more expensive then Chanel No.5 perfume.

The idea to replace the US federal government's use of the Times new roman with Garamound resonated in some sections of the American elite before though it only went as far as forcing the government to use only smaller variations of the former font. There had been similar efforts elsewhere in the world the years that came after, particularly in Europe where one time, some countries were desperately broke that they had to save even their own printer inks.

I have always considered those who take pride in styling themselves as Emperors, Kings, and so forth, to be the most fickle of leaders. Whilst an elected official must serve as a true representstive of the people and has his authority bestowed upon him via popular mandate, the so-called noble man rules by decree, and rules for himself. After all, the noble man is a noble man, he is above the rest, those beneath him do not matter. Taxes are put to use to fund education, healthcare, etc, but for the noble-man, taxes are used to pay for his palace. Why should those with supposedly special blood live in palaces when there are those who live on the streets? The self-declared noble man works for nothing, whilst the average man works for everything, and yet the noble man has everything whilst the average man has nothing. But in sweet irony the truth maintains that the noble man will, upon realising the errors of his mistakes and impending doom, will do more to save face as he realises how much of a construct everything about him is. He has no real power. No real authority. And in truth, one will realise that we are all average. No amount of pompous can save those who bleed the self-declared special blood, from the anger of people when they rise up to claim their nation as theirs. Nations such as Lotharia, amongst others, are only ticking time bombs, they are doomed to fail. The Konfederatsiya will never again bow to the monarchist system. We will eradicate all those who try and conform us to accept the self-appointed elite. Slava!

How odd, PUNCH used to seem more inviting and open compared to Setz and their strict Humans-Only policy. I've always felt a bit guilty for using it given I'm Half-AHSCAian home to many folks not unlike you. I can't say any ghosts are wandering the islands but you look like you have some Kitsune traits in you? Perhaps I'm wrong. Maybe we can talk more.

Well maybe I should take up the offer I got a while ago and go work for Piffle in Kuronami. I think I want to try and revive their brief attempts at building a social networking platform (ooc: puppet project I built couldn't get it to take off, might be time to try again). Though working for the AHSCA Meteorology Office is also just as inviting. Decisions to make. And graduation isn't THAT far off for me.

@KALA I don't think it's the website itself, just those crazy radicals that have taken power in the Philippines trying to get more visibility. You guessed right about me being a kitsune. And I wouldn't be so quick to assume there aren't any spirits where you're from. There just aren't very many of us in most places, and a lot of us keep to ourselves.

I went to a summer camp for child ghosts like me not too long ago. Personally, I couldn't wait to get home. If I wanted to be away from my family for that long I would have gone straight to the afterlife.
