The people will later contribute to the human race, the dinosaurs only provide expensive entertainment. Dinosaurs will not cooperate, they have to be tranquilized and rounded up and shipped off the island in special containers and made sure each gets their proper health care and made sure they stay docile until they can be released or put into temporary captivity that will also cost probably millions in money like the original park on the other island. People will cooperate and will help themselves and others and the money will be worth it once they contribute back in taxes and such later, among other things.

People aren't dinosaurs. Dinosaurs went extinct once, every species, during their own time. And they can be raised again in the Jurassic Park universe. Humans are invaluable, dinosaurs are expensive, mutated entertainment managed by a corporation.

Because dinosaurs have no rights. They don't belong in our biosphere, there is no existing ecosystem where it belongs. Dinos would only destroy present ecosystems and exacerbate endangerment of species that do belong.

The humans should always take priority over the dinosaurs. If the evacuation situation for the dinosaurs is unsafe and threatens human lives, then it should not be attempted. Those species haven't been in the biosphere for tens of millions of years, they require close biological management on top of the pain in the ass of evacuating the dinosaurs in and of itself.

Well there is one last idea that doesn't involve the death of humans or dinosaurs....we could build an underwater city with dinosaurs and call it dinotopia. Where humans and dinosaurs coexist. This isn't our reality if you remember meaning we can spend the alternate realities money and bankrupt them therefore saving human lives and dinosaurs. Some humans are natural born killers too when they're born out of the womb. What stops us from killing them as well?

1. we wont know exactly when the volcano will explode
2. we have nowhere to put them w/o endangering the population on the mainland
3. dinosaurs on the mainland would be considered an invasive species and take control away from the native species
