MATCHDAY 9 - And we're back to Njiko RZN action, after the prolonged international break, Razen internationals and [most] foreign internationals are back from their respective teams, either from the Cup of Harmony or form the World Cup finals, back to league action, and A.C. Stonehenge looks to get right back into the drivers seat, as take home a big 3-2 win. Navy Club is at the receiving end of that battering moment, they've only won one game, is it cause for concern in Port Perrington? Peachtree continues to dazzle as the newcomer team, they're in second place, taking on fellow newcomers Emerald Cove, and a 3-1 beat down proved they're the class of the newcomers. Not too much else action, my god, the current state of the Roses is terrible, they were expected to be a good team this year, and yet...they're suffering?

MATCHDAY 10 - Stonehenge has only lost one game and for good reason too, this all-star cast they've put together at the front? Well...its impenetrable, Heartland is still slow coming online, but notably, he got is seventh goal in this utter beat down on Tynedale, Tynedale's suffering massive injuries on its flanks and its obviously showing as they can't put up to easily against Stonehenge despite a good dose of three goals from themselves. Ginaluc de Oca, the Cosumarite rookie goalie is certainly going to be a commodity in coming years, given he continues to improve, he needs to work on coordination too, especially against lesser opponents. And my god...Fullham, stop! In the name of the Gods, Fullham walking away with a huge game, its as if they don't need Kevin Kyrell to rack up their goals, a 5-1 game sees Emerald Cove silence in a terrible fashion, we're really wondering why Fullham's struggling with the high-octane potential they've got. And Navy Club's woes continue, a 3-nil loss to Battlebrook, right now, the losses are mounting,

MATCHDAY 11 - A high-scoring weak in Njiko RZN, the acceleration pedal was slowed down with league-leaders A.C. Stonehenge, settling for a quiet 1-nil victory of Old Birmingham City, Fybbers with the lone goal. Is this season shaping to be a legendary one for Stonehenge; they certainly could set the club record for wins which was set two season ago by...you guessed it, the Birmingham Boys, who reigned supreme that year en route to 26 wins, the power Stonehenge possesses along with arguably the best manager in the league in Christopher Tajo Mendez makes for a dangerous side. Calix gets a surprising home win against the Purple Swans, we're wondering if the Swans are annoyed with that loss, a 3-nil loss taken against all teams - Calix City. The Fullham Rangers topple Peachtree F.C., cruising home to a 5-3 victory after a stunning comeback in the 64th minute, scoring four unanswered goals to cake up a victory. Walk in the park as the Sailos Derby continues, pitting Port Perrington sides 206 Mitche and Navy Club against one-another, and 206 Mitche comes out on top in a 5-1 one walloping of Navy Club; are the Midshipmen already facing relegation?

MATCHDAY 12 - How concerned are you for Navy Club? Many of the Midshipmen supporters are scared of seeing the side knocked down to RazenLeague 2, as they continue to dwell int eh last-place position, suffering what would be automatic relegation if the season were over today, however, a 4-nil win should offer some sort of comfort for the side which has gone thru a lot this season. Still, there's no permament manager on the bench, an interim manager in Ezekiel Bowett is the closest they have to a manager and certainly you can't place all the blame on him. Tysdy Meno, the Audisolav has already hinted that he'll be departing to a better team at seasons end, the Audisolav has scored 10 of his sides sixteen goals and it if weren't for the fat that he places for the worse side in Njiko RZN, he certainly would be in consideration for Youth Player of the Season. Stonehenge suffered their second loss of the season, to Calix City - is this just a streak of good luck for Calix City or are they actually forming signs of the potential they possess? Pierre Denton's side contains considerable amounts of talent that can be exposed and bred well if this continues, I expect there will be high demand for Denton's players in two years for the rest of Razenthuria's Njiko RZN sides. Denton's contract also expires in two years.

MATCHDAY 13 - Peachtree's CRACKING! But they're not cracking yet, they're stay alive running on fumes as they manage to win outlasting a barrage of CHristcastle firepower in the dying minutes, winning and hanging on to a 5-3 victory in front of 22,000 at City of Peachtree Stadium in downtown Peachtree. Peachtree's win comes at a time where the club's been suffering heavy losses, following their god-like star to the season - you remember, they only lost two games to start the season, their side has come crumbling apart, showing off their true flaws as a former second-division side. Remember the Roses? The side were were scared about three matchdays ago? Well, I can concur that Cuthbert Chanceler has heard my concerns, the Roses have stepped up, coming off a big win at the Fullham Dome, as they beat the Rangers 4-2 in front of a huge home crowd, they'll be heading home with high hope in their hearts, its been a rowdy start to the season for them, but I'm fully sure they can now find their ways into the top-5 by seasons end. Also, it looks as if the expansion teams are both headed for the relegation zone, following the mid-level starts from both Emerald Cove and 414 Christcastle, the latter has now overtaken Navy Club as the worst team in the league and Emerald Cove is not far behind.

MATCHDAY 14 - Tommy Cox-Jean is confirmed as being out for the season, the man who had masterfully scored seventeen goals for Athletic New Victoria, perfectly the Purple Swans is not out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, this now means that the attack of the Swans - which has been blown out already by losing national team star, Yellis Eugene to the Acronian side AFC Defense; will now be further slowed without Cox-Jean. Losing 2-nil to A.C. Stonehenge didn't help in anyway, of course, I expect that Victor Kingsley still has a few tricks in his bag, he'll likely be looking to shift to a completely defensive outlook not to preserve a midplace in the rankings, and of course, it'll be back to attempting to win another Cup of the Raza and the ever-elusive RFA SuperCup. I'm not completely sure as to whats the plan from 414 Christcastle, I hear they were good(?) about seven weeks ago during matchday 7, but that's been quickly replaced with fear and doubt. And of course, losing 7-2 to Fullham does do that to you, so perhaps this needs some prayer and rest. L-O-L. Emerald Cove also joins them as the next side to hold the L, as they fall into 13th place, at this point, it should be a battle between those two as to not be in the automatic relegation spot, don't you think? And its not to blame on Emerald Cove - they've got good players, but c'mon - not this year's edition.

MATCHDAY 15 - I almost laugh with the predicitons I made eight weeks ago-ish on who I expected to stand out, to Navy Club - you basically have no concerns for relegation, 414 Christcastle is simply utter trash, this time, suffering 4-1 loss to the Roses. The Roses are a side who I labeled at not able to compete with the big boys and boy, was I wrong - have you seen them thus far? They've stepped up their campaign, I'm wondering if they'll be able to catch up with Stonehenge again, remember last season? It went on in a might battle between the two until the final five matchdays when Stonehenge pulled away for the title, but - the Roses are a good side this year, Gunther Shawcroft is a start, even at 33 he's proving that coming to Razenthuria wasn't for retirement purposes, he finds hide eighteenth goal of the season, he's seemingly done well, plaing as a CAM for much of the pat fourth of the season. The Roses are one of those rare teams who will always been in the conversation as long as Chanceler is manning the ship, Chanceler's never won a title, but the worst he's finished with any team is xith, and remember, turning a club like Tynedale, who was tenth the year before to third requires a heavy amount of work, this was in R-412 where he really got his start. Now, I don't think he'll win a title for a bit, Tajo Mendez will need to absolutely not work out for Stonehenge, but, Chanceler can sneak on team possibly. Oh, and Peachtree's in freefall mode, officially.

MATCHDAY 16 - A high-scoring week ends the first half of the Njiko RZN season, this time as the Purple Swans are the highlight of the day, The Jewel was packed to the brim as a supposedly attack-less side in the Swans takes 414 Christcastle on a ride, dancing off with a 5-nil victory thru the night. Of course, to add insult to the injury, they were fielding their B-team for the match, and goals came flying in at every second of the match - Victor Kingsley has done surprisingly well with his new pairings in the midfield, Toré Na'Verii, the gifted midfielder who takes over for Eugene's roll did well, he scored himself a goal, his fourth of the season. Another big matchup in Ogasake, where the Roses lay waste to Christcastle, settling it with a 5-nil demolition wrecking crew against the side. It would be problematic for the side to have considered dropping points, and of course, we now stare at the Roses hugging the fourth spot. But is that saying much? Only six points - yep folks, that two wins - separate the second-place team and the tenth-place team, so, right now, its really infair to call how this season's going to go. Unless, well, I think Stonehenge's going to run away with their second title, after that, anything could happen folks.

A.C. Stonehenge is still clearly the best team in Njiko RZN, and as if to rub it in the other team's faces, Matchdays 15 and 16 saw the Razen side field B-Team lineups, in which they walked away with a 5-2 victory (over 206 Mitche) and a 3-2 dub, this time over St. Derby. If anything is clear, its that Stonehenge is the best side in Njiko RZN, and alas, Christoper Tajo Mendez is battle-tested with these games, coming off highly-interesting ones, we'll love to see how he does leading the side for the second half of training. Fullham's the other side to keep your eye on, national team assistant, Peter Fermen is back - and he's looking to guide his side up, Fermen didn't have a wonderful season last season, but I'm sure he's looking to make up for lost ground with the side this time around. The rest of the way down, thinks look the same, there's not too much going on - Peachtree F.C. is a surprising note, however, they'll likely tank as the season goes on. Below that, the Birmingham Boys, who purged the line-up for the start of this season, instead opting for youth are now looking to simply avoid relegation, there's much work to do for them looking forth.

The rankings remain mostly stoic in the second division as Applegate City continues to eye that automatic promotion, given they replicate the same success they had in the first half of RazenLeague 2 play, I'll give a safe bet they usurp either Navy Club's or 414 Christcastle's spot in Njiko RZN next season. Equally compelling are the three-bit clique of Reading Athletic, Club Everbren and Blue Coast 381 - all three sides are within a point of the second place spot and they'll be gunning to make room and jockey for the second sot as it looks as if Applegate City has already ran off with the top spot needed. Below them, its a pure melee race, the Burnley Rovers are just groveling in their failures, falling to fifth in the second division, its a big fall from grace from a side we were so high on four years ago. You remember that? When they came within a hair of third place and lost in the Cup of the Raza final? We were so sure of them. Below them is a hashpash of unknowns and names we're not too familiar with, as you know four teams will go down at the end of the season, there's no relegation play-offs, so the battle for the Top-12 begins Matchday 17.

How does it feel to only have won one game this entire season? Ah, these are the questions you only look to the third division too for answers. Long hailed as the wierdos division, you best not be demoted to these backwoods of the Razen pyramid, if you go any lower? Well then, you're just an awful little chump. As expected, Ten Mountains hold steady on their high position, but Illvermorny is making hard gains, only five points behind the Mountaineers for the top spot, this season's been quite dull and a very low-scoring affair, I don't know how much low-scoring games these teams can handle. I predict that Ten Mountains will run away with this, and AFC Querjiban should be of notice too, they shipped off a young youth player to a Banijan top league side last week, supposedly a youth player in the making with raw talent. Who handles this season will be all the questions, these are the minor cities that are trying to become big hustlers, so don't expect much coverage. Ten Mountains by far the best of the bunch.

MATCHDAY 17 - Nothing to surprising, A.C. Stonehenge opened the third lef of the season with a 5-1 thrashing of Emerald Cove, the only woe is that de Oca allowed a goal, oh the horror , right? Stonehenge is by far going to run a way with this title, I mean of course, Battlebrook's put together a cute, little ship over there, and no disrespect to Birmingham Union - what he's done with Battlebrook us respectable in his own right and he'll probably be the best Razen manager to never win a domestic title, but come on; in seriousness, who's going to derail an inevitable march to the title from Tajo Mendez and his squad? 5-1 thrashings happen rarely, and of course, not much can be put on the name of expansion side Emerald Cove, made up entirely of academy players, but this is...a low for them even. Around the league, the Purple Swans are good but, even Tomym Cox-Jean's heroics probably won't ben enough to seen them to UICA again. Yellis Eugene was the glue to that roster last season, and although they're in a similar position as last year, that spark, that drive...its just not on this roster. Victor Kingsley, the manager is probably gone this offseason.

MATCHDAY 18 - Are the Roses gunning for another 'attack on Titan'-like run this season? Cuthbert Chanceler's side starte off the first quarter of the season looking like a team readied for relegation, however, this team has rebounded, surprisingly fast, a 5-2 victory this week only puts them higher on the list. Shawcroft at 33 remains a transition piece that has blossomed into a star, the Nepharan player has accounted for seventeen goals, and his foot seems to still be working, this time with a thirty-four yeard volley from out that sent the team up to a 5-2 easy grabs win. Elsewhere, Tynedale City continues to quietly and gently ease their way out of their position, moving up the ranks ever-so-slowly, this new leadership has them bent on a top-8 finish. I'm proud to say personally, as a Tynedale fan that we could very well see a change of guard.... in 100 years. As long as the managing powers of Tajo Mendez, Chanceler, Union and Fermen - even possibly, to a degree, the man at ANV - Kingsley are in charge of their respective teams, its very unlikely that we see a new side emerge. Ike Xavier is looking less-and-less like the former manager he was, the one who readied and pushed Fullham and guided them to the top of the Razen footballing mountain in R-407, and twice more in -409 and -410. He sweetened the pot when he went to Old Birmingham City and lead the side on a 3-loss, 1-draw campaign that left them with the highest-points achieved in a Njiko RZN season. Since then, his side has been in freefall with the fame "Four Horsemen" all retired. Now, he has a bunch of young pieces and is in for a long retooling process.

MATCHDAY 19 - Two years ago Pierre Denton was a fifty-three year-old bartender at a club in downtown Tynedale, catering to the youthful vagrants who carted thru his club, where is he now? The revolutionary manager at the helm of the ambitious rebuild that's happening in Razenthuria's most-recognizable city, that's the mecca, Calix City - yea, the one who's gotten on the map because of gridiron...? But, don't take off their other talents, Calix City's side, uh...Calix City F.C. - yes a great name; have grown from the unknown side to one who have rising stars in their pipelines. Of course, there are many who doubt Denton, and Denton's no flashy man, he wears a tracksuit to their games - but Denton is undeniably a game-changer, he's been brought in to rehaul the Calix program, and of course, losing to RazenLeague 2 mid-level side, North Hatmond 4-2 on aggregate doesn't seem great, but this team is undoubtedly a side of youth. Tajo Mendez, the Devontan national team skipper even gave nod to the youth, calling Kelly Reven an excellent youth player - Reven is expected to play at the upcoming Sporting World Cup in Free Republics, although usually coming off this bench, he has shown much. Not to be confused with Kaleigh Reven, his sister, a starter. In other news, the battle for not falling into relegation has been split between three sides - Tynedale City, Navy Club and Old Birmingham City, we'll breal down their weaknesses in this week's publication of SN Magazine on your doorsteps, but all three have their own strengthens - Tynedale City's playing of pure experience, Navy Club's got physicality that others lack and the Birmingham Boys...ooof. They're relying on their manager essentially to engineer some godsend like he always does.

MATCHDAY 20 - You do remember the days (weeks?) when we called Peachtree F.C. a bona fide team that could shock some Njiko RZN sides in their first months up from promotion? I laugh in hindsight of my ill-thought comments, any upsetting they've done is for the vast part completed, they're plummeting and they're plummeting fast; at this point, Ike Xavier is willing them to fall to twelfth place so the Birmingham Boys can avoid the perilous relegation gauntlet. And Peachtree F.C. wasn't really expected to contend with the big boys, the Roses were weak eraly on, sure - but that's what's bound to happen when your best player (Shawcroft) is out for five weeks like he was, sustaining a sprain. Included, that was the time when we thought that Saint Dery were finally going to get relegated to the second tier, despite Hikvon's famous goal-scoring antics. Of course, how wrong were we, now, look at this, I'm safely betting that Peachtree F.C. is going to finish in the gutter, a 12th-place finish would be simply a huge relief for a side which relies on...[insert name here ]...for their talent? Peachtree F.C. wasn't the class of the RazenLeague 2, mind you Manitoba F.C. was, however, changes have been made for the RFA in regards to footballing to ensure that doesn't happen again. Included, this time, two teams will be promoted to the top tier - RazenLeague is expected to add a new team and then of course the 14th-plaed team is relegated. A possibility of a third team joining the league if the relegation battle goes in favor of the second tier. Not much an exciting week, although Navy Club delivers the hammer to the Birmingham Boys, 3-nil.

MATCHDAY 21 - Truly, how bad can you get? THat's the question we've continued to ponder for this side that is 414 Christcastle, 3 wins? Three wins in 21 games, friends - and to blame Gordon Heyward is by far one fo the stupidest things proposed, Heyward's only supposedly good players it eh Brenecian goalie Austrih and Gumiave, the Acronian, but this...this is a terrible campaign. And Heyward needs a lot of credit for what he did before coming here - St. Derby is his crowning achievement, engineering a 5th-and-3rd-place Njiko RZN finish in R-411 and -412, since then, and then there was the whole come-from-behind R-414 campaign that saw him hit stardom. But is it too late to turn around 414 Christcastle? They're steamrolling in a hurry for RazenLeague 2 and I regret to say that I really doubt that Heyward wants to stay on board for the long-term rebuild...and its going to be a long term one, the state of this franchise is tattered and destroyed and well, its only been one season on the professional circuit. Of course, what do you expect - you rushed out a side in one year and this is the result of a tattered group that saw ownership split three times. The RFA even said themselves, this is a joke and never should've been created, much to the dismay of Christcastle supporters. Anyways, with the RFA Chairmanship looming, there are no doubt heavy questions move forward as to who will be leading the RFA, more on that later.

MATCHDAY 22 - Two word: Navy Club.

MATCHDAY 23 - Chinks in the armour? I think not, although two straight losses from A.C. Stonehenge means they're only sitting thee wins and a draw above Athletic New Victoria - of, round of standing ovation for the complete turnaround and surprising run hat Athletic New Victoria's on - if only Navy Club could get their shit together, I see a reemergence of the 'Big 4' - that's the Purple Swans, Stonehenge, the Rangers and the Midshipmen, arguably the strongest of the Njiko RZN sides during the pre-UICA years, of course, A.C. 317 Roses now would put up a protest to that notion, but we keenly remind you that the Roses have yet to lift the Njiko RZN season title and had yet to stumble upon a truly life-changing manager until Chanceler arrived. Meanwhile, the thought that Stonehenge is cracking is an unfounded theory, they're resting the majority of their starts and suffered two back-to-back losses, they're still going to win this season's title, the Gods have determined it. Shoutout to Calix City, Pierre Denton's slowly building together a program to behold out there.

MATCHDAY 24 - HOLD MY AMBROSIA. MABEZA, LORDS I AM HAVING A HEART ATTACK. 7-2! 7-2!!! Cuthbert Chanceler is a king tonight as the Roses utterly demolish the Christcastle side in a 7-2 game, Shawcroft has hat-trick and then some, racking up four more goals to add to his league-leading 31 goals on the season thus far, and the Roses dance lie kings tonight! Chanceler is a miracle worker, he's done it again and this time, there's other competitors, Chanceler faces a daunting task in guiding the Roses forward, with the Rangers, the Purple Swans and Battlebrook all standing in the Roses way of a battle for second-place. At this point, the real question should be who wins Manager of the Season - Tajo Mendez has emerged as the favorite, but you can't discount the entirely complete turnaround Victor Kingsley has done - of course, he won it last year - Birmingham Union is making a strong and silent case for why he deserves the nod, and arguably, at seventy-three he needs a sending-off party. He has hinted this will be his final season at the helm, leukemia has advanced and ravished his body, unfortunately.

Amid Corruption, RFA Reboots

Image
Former Commissioner of Njiko RZN (ssn. 10-13), Wheelock named new RFA President, on the left at the RFA press conference. (Gaston North/Razen Sports Daily)

PORT PERRINGTON - A changing of the guards? Perhaps as Moishita Wheelock is named as the third President in the history of the Razen Footballing Association, completing a 6-month cycle since the end of World Cup 80 in Equestrian States and Starblaydia, now with Razen footballers officially back in the domestic season, now halfway thru it, the questions are answered as to who comes to helm the organization. The 55 year-old Wheelock, comes to the stage offering much for the RFA, having previously served as Commissioner of the RFA in seasons 10 thru 13, the latter of which he managed the transfer of Njiko RZN play to be on the same calendar and with the UICA cycles, in a move that was highly-praised by many. Wheelock comes in offering youthful vibrance and a departure from the two-term stale Presidency of Munachiso Uchechi, who has been plagued with his slowness of his Presidency, not offering much for the team as other advanced far past Razenthuria in international football. Razenthuria's footballing has steadily improved, with Kevin Kyrell selling for upwards of N$20 million to a Farf footballing club, and Yellis Eugene coming into his own at a club in Acronius, however, the Uchechi regime has been criticized for its ambiguous plans and overzealous attempts - most-notably the 13-0 vote for the Cup of Harmony, Razenthuria's single-handed biggest disgrace on the multiverses footballing scene. However, Wheelock now enters with an amibitous plan himself - Project 25/90 - a goal to hoist the Razen national side (senior) into the top-25 in the multiverse by World Cup 90, of course, he'll only be around likely for only ten years if he's even re-elected, but this forty-year ambitious plan calls for all hands on deck from him.

If what Razen football fans wanted was an outsider, they're sure as hell not going to get it - Wheelock is far from an outsider, former Commissioner of Njiko RZN and a member of the RFA Executive Committee which has been plagued with corruption scandals in the past, however, Wheelock distanced himself from opponents notably in the past two years. His biggest challenger, Findley Graves, the owner of Athletic New Victoria has been plagued with corruption charges, notably with the quiet transfer of Yellis Eugene for a price many claim was too high above his value to the Acronian domestic league, and of course he has denied this. However, the RFA, immediately following the election of Wheelock has said that Graves is to sell his ownership stake in the club, estimated worth at N$680 million, making it the second-richest club in Razenthuria - Graves has attempted to fight this, however was also banned from RFA and the football scene in Razenthuria altogether. This comes as Wheelock seems to be locked on cleaning up Razenthuria's footballing image and creating a Razen future powerhouse, he's already made big changes - Christoper Tajo Mendez got his temporary contract extended for another campaign, at worst, he'll be around until the end of WC 81 - after his initial offerings, we have high hopes fro the Devontan to lead Razenthuria into the World Cup soon. Hiring Timothy McGraw, the youthful manager of Razen academy side, R.A.Z.E. - Razen Academy of Zenith Excellence for managing the U18 side is another key step, as the Razen head man attempts to build a future contender for the World Cup, of course, Razenthuria's seen a big rise in the world rankings; from 280th in the world to now sitting at 108th, a rise that's taken place over two campaigns thus far. World Cup qualification is the ultimate goal, and after running thru two previous ill-prepared managers, Wheelock is hoping to make the jump by the end of his term.

As 380 delegates gathered inside of McCallum Pavilion in Pert Perrington, Wheelock faced a mighty challenge from Findley Graves - owner of Athletic New Victoria and Razen footballing legend, Thunder Rivers - the 86 year-old came in third on the original ballot, only gaining 12% of the ballot, meanwile, Graves and Wheelock were both closes with the remaining 84% percent - Wheelock garnered 45% and Gaves took 39% of the voting; while on the second ballot, Wheelock clearly emerged as victor, with 58% to Graves 42%. Now, with the leader of the organization clearly determined, there's a lot of work left to do - Razenthuria is expected to debut in the Campianto Esportiva, and a new team is liely to be drafted, with Christopher Tajo Mendez saying that a new team should be drafted. Many players of the first era of Razen international footballing are reaching the end of their careers - Victor Parks, the captain since World Cup 79 qualifying has announced this will be his last season and has retired from international footballing. Wheelock is now charged with building together a new national side, he's recently toured the facilities of the academy sides and has said an Academy division will be set up for the RazenLeague pyramid, calling for it to contest of twelve teams in order to build up the youth players, those 21-and-under who are attempting to find their way onto senior teams. The academy teams have mainly functioned as amateur teams, however, Wheelock has already approved the transformation of a national division for the academy sides. Wheelock has emphasized increased UICA competition and making big steps in both WC play and the Campianto Esportiva, of course, he hints that a deep run could be achieved if the proper things are put in place. He also calls forth the lions, discussing the meteoric rise of the Razen national side, saying, "anything with effort is achievable."

Is he the answer? We don't know. Could he be? Definitely.

Reporting live from Port Perrington.

Season 14
Season Roundup

This title race was brutal for many teams - you need not onl look at the match scorelines to see what fourteen different teams did to battle to either a) win the league, or b), avoid relegation, and man - we saw one of the best seasons yet. Goals. Goals galore, that's the only way to describe what we were allowed to see out on the pitch, A.C. Stonehenge ran away to their second title in as many years, their third altogether and first in the Tajo Mendez-era; you'd think they'd lose a step behind last season's straight championship encounter, after reloading on the talent and pulling from the different academies, they've emerged as the team to watch on the circuit. Built on strength and ability, Stonehenge was just too god for the rest to catch up with - players like Efrom Heartland - he pitched in a 28-goal campaign for his side, the national team striker, on the wrong side of thirty continues to prove what a deft and underrated player he is. He is very much talented, and as if to prove that, he went on a rampage this season - while that's not inline with his 31-goal performance last season, that should be just as well, as the team proved that it could find other resourceful ways to chip in the goals. A twenty-goal campaign was dealt from 30 year-old Karen Fybber, her best season to date, Christopher Tajo Mendez really figured out how to manage this sleeping beauty, this saint of sorts, and of course, there were all sorts of holes in her game, but she had a gran campaign and that's not to take away from her abilities. No doubt, she'll be shipped off once the transfers begin, but holy moly, this has been a great campaign from a player who only mustered six goals as her all-time high before this season. Fursawa Utamara, that's the dual Yanghoonese-Razen centermidfielder, lining up in the RM spot - he's a developing and quickly-emerging talent, I like what I saw from this brilliant player in only his first season, he gained 23 goals himself, and really was a good influence on keeping up with Fybber and feeding her balls during much of the season. I really am not sure what else he could've done, but, if anything's clear, I really doubt that this is the team for him - sure, he had a great campaign as a rookie, sure to win Youth Player of the Season, however, this team already has a bona fide star, and that's Heartland, he's already taken off from Heartland's production, and if anything, Utamara needs to be his own man. He likely will not be around to star next season. And finally, GInaluc de Oca, that's the youthful nineteen year-old Cosumarite goal-keeper who lined up behind the pipes, he received the starting nod for this season, and it was a great season or him - he clearly pitched in some solid shutouts for the youthful player, he needs some more years to develop into his own player, but, I believe he's the goal-keeper for the future at Freeman Turf. A very solid backfield, Peter Borell is developing nicely, I don't think Jahleel Blackson comes back next season, although solid, the backline needs to be tweaked for next season, expect some developing changes to be put into effect this offseason by Tajo Mendez. Altogether, a great season for A.C. Stonehenge if you subtract UICA play, this team looking prepared to strike and find themselves into a future league title once again - a well deserved 3rd-league title.

A nod yet again goes to A.C. 317 Roses, who once again find themselves harboring an unfortunate second-place finish yet again, and this time, there's not much more you can say - of course, that's not how you want to finish a season - twice second-place, but this season? It was a really good campaign, not to mention, they came back from a horrendous start, fighting their way back into the top-3 before clinching the second-place finish with a 2-1 nail-biter of a win, thus pushing them over a resurgent Athletic New Victoria. I like what we saw from this squad, S. Shawcroft deserves Foreigner of the Season yet again - a 36 goal campaign sort of does that - and he produced his fair share of goals, lugging a frontline of academy and newcomer players who really aren't that good, in fact, without him, the frontline only accounts for forty goals, altogether - those who want to shame him need to thoroughly develop a keen opinion onto why the Nepharan is the best foreigner. Nicolas Painchaud - he's got to go, he cost the team big early and they couldn't save themselves later in the matches, and probably, he was a part of a bad UICA cycle, thankfully for him, they've qualified for UICA, but this performance was just...terrible, there's no way around it. Now, Gabriel Baker is likely to step away from his job at manning the center, this team is going to look entirely different come next season - I expect a heavy load of foreigners are going to come onto this team to fill out the weaker spots, Shawcroft's arguably got one more season left in his tank, so is this the fall of the Roses coming? Chanceler's proven he's an excellent manager, I think the score line shows that - but, it this the best he'll be able to produce with a frontline like this? If so, where do you plug in new players? Painchaud's likely to go, Darris is out and the new players either find themselves on the bench or are shipped out - the rebuilding time is soon to be upon them.

Athletic New Victoria performed slightly better than expected, but its clear from manager Victor Kingsley that they are increasingly shifting towards a defensive format - Tommy Cox-Jean doesn't fit into the system that Kingsley's been implementing with the Purple Swans. if anything, I find him a nuisance to the program, and its likely that the Purple Swans are looking to ship off their star(?) player in the offseason - and its a shame, because the thirty-one year-old skill scores 25-28 goals on a normal basis, a nd with three good years left in his tank, he's anyone's pick up. A team like the Roses need stability, in the offseason, does he find himself heading to Marietta to don a Roses jersey? Of course, there's a lot of questions to this puzzle; Purple Swan's goalie, Easton Thomas proved that he's the best goalie that Razenthuria has, he conceded 39 goals this season; however, this side wasn't kind to him during UICA play or during the Cup of the Raza, crashing out during the Round of 20 - where Thomas looks to after this? That's anyone's guess. Alas, Thomas is in a class by himself - except, Calix City's provided Audoslav goalie pro'lly does beg to differ, however; Thomas was a dominant man this season, and at twenty-seven, he's the goalie for a long time for the national team, a great campaign like this has him likely penciled in as number one for Tajo Mendez's Razenthuria selection that heads to the Campianto Esportiva soon - that's only one year away my friends! Jim Macpherson was good, not great, he had a less-than-respectable 15 goals from his position - mostly-focused on feeding Cox-Jean, however, this is likely what Kingsley was looking for from this team, they're far from the offensive stalwarts they were labeled as last season, and this continued improvement will be a sore eye for many. Vance Kirkman - now there's a player who needs to go, no productivity from him at all this season, he will need t be sanctioned off. Your best youth piece is the product from Cosumar, the twenty year-old, Toré Na'Verii, she knew what she was up to, and filling the shoes of Yellis Eugene is a mighty task, for anyone; but she knew how do it, while noticeably less goals were produced, they were still available, seven goals from her over the campaign. I look forward to what she brings to the table next season.

RZN Hockey is recognized by the International Olympic Committee and the Crown of Razenthuria Olympic Committee as the governing body for organized ice hockey in Eazenthuria and is a member of the World Cup of Hockey Federation. Founded in R-400, in Tynedale F.D., the organization is based in Marietta, Ala Ugbo, and has a total membership exceeding seven million. Its mission is to promote the growth of ice hockey in Razenthuria. and provide the best possible experience for all participants by encouraging, developing, advancing and administering the sport. Razenthuria's national hockey team, nicknamed the Snow Leopards are a new but prominent force in the World Cup of Hockey, they've reached the ranking of nineteenth in the world and are a known power, with the Razen ice hockey program built the same as the one in Novaya Zemlya. Now, in preparation for their fourth season, there's a lot of concern moving forth, as the national league of Razen hockey, Ligue 1 was forced to fold ten teams from the previous incarnation of the league, then the KHL-1. Now, with the league revamped, there is hope to see Razenthuria as a global competitor once more.

[ Being the successor-state of Razenthuria, Velestria lays claim to all former sporting accomplishments and participants of Razenthuria and will slowly work to recreate the former small but growing sporting history of the Razen sporting culture. ]
