Njiko RZN Reults
MATCHDAY 9 - And we're back to Njiko RZN action, after the prolonged international break, Razen internationals and [most] foreign internationals are back from their respective teams, either from the Cup of Harmony or form the World Cup finals, back to league action, and A.C. Stonehenge looks to get right back into the drivers seat, as take home a big 3-2 win. Navy Club is at the receiving end of that battering moment, they've only won one game, is it cause for concern in Port Perrington? Peachtree continues to dazzle as the newcomer team, they're in second place, taking on fellow newcomers Emerald Cove, and a 3-1 beat down proved they're the class of the newcomers. Not too much else action, my god, the current state of the Roses is terrible, they were expected to be a good team this year, and yet...they're suffering?
MATCHDAY 10 - Stonehenge has only lost one game and for good reason too, this all-star cast they've put together at the front? Well...its impenetrable, Heartland is still slow coming online, but notably, he got is seventh goal in this utter beat down on Tynedale, Tynedale's suffering massive injuries on its flanks and its obviously showing as they can't put up to easily against Stonehenge despite a good dose of three goals from themselves. Ginaluc de Oca, the Cosumarite rookie goalie is certainly going to be a commodity in coming years, given he continues to improve, he needs to work on coordination too, especially against lesser opponents. And my god...Fullham, stop! In the name of the Gods, Fullham walking away with a huge game, its as if they don't need Kevin Kyrell to rack up their goals, a 5-1 game sees Emerald Cove silence in a terrible fashion, we're really wondering why Fullham's struggling with the high-octane potential they've got. And Navy Club's woes continue, a 3-nil loss to Battlebrook, right now, the losses are mounting,
MATCHDAY 11 - A high-scoring weak in Njiko RZN, the acceleration pedal was slowed down with league-leaders A.C. Stonehenge, settling for a quiet 1-nil victory of Old Birmingham City, Fybbers with the lone goal. Is this season shaping to be a legendary one for Stonehenge; they certainly could set the club record for wins which was set two season ago by...you guessed it, the Birmingham Boys, who reigned supreme that year en route to 26 wins, the power Stonehenge possesses along with arguably the best manager in the league in Christopher Tajo Mendez makes for a dangerous side. Calix gets a surprising home win against the Purple Swans, we're wondering if the Swans are annoyed with that loss, a 3-nil loss taken against all teams - Calix City. The Fullham Rangers topple Peachtree F.C., cruising home to a 5-3 victory after a stunning comeback in the 64th minute, scoring four unanswered goals to cake up a victory. Walk in the park as the Sailos Derby continues, pitting Port Perrington sides 206 Mitche and Navy Club against one-another, and 206 Mitche comes out on top in a 5-1 one walloping of Navy Club; are the Midshipmen already facing relegation?
MATCHDAY 12 - How concerned are you for Navy Club? Many of the Midshipmen supporters are scared of seeing the side knocked down to RazenLeague 2, as they continue to dwell int eh last-place position, suffering what would be automatic relegation if the season were over today, however, a 4-nil win should offer some sort of comfort for the side which has gone thru a lot this season. Still, there's no permament manager on the bench, an interim manager in Ezekiel Bowett is the closest they have to a manager and certainly you can't place all the blame on him. Tysdy Meno, the Audisolav has already hinted that he'll be departing to a better team at seasons end, the Audisolav has scored 10 of his sides sixteen goals and it if weren't for the fat that he places for the worse side in Njiko RZN, he certainly would be in consideration for Youth Player of the Season. Stonehenge suffered their second loss of the season, to Calix City - is this just a streak of good luck for Calix City or are they actually forming signs of the potential they possess? Pierre Denton's side contains considerable amounts of talent that can be exposed and bred well if this continues, I expect there will be high demand for Denton's players in two years for the rest of Razenthuria's Njiko RZN sides. Denton's contract also expires in two years.
MATCHDAY 13 - Peachtree's CRACKING! But they're not cracking yet, they're stay alive running on fumes as they manage to win outlasting a barrage of CHristcastle firepower in the dying minutes, winning and hanging on to a 5-3 victory in front of 22,000 at City of Peachtree Stadium in downtown Peachtree. Peachtree's win comes at a time where the club's been suffering heavy losses, following their god-like star to the season - you remember, they only lost two games to start the season, their side has come crumbling apart, showing off their true flaws as a former second-division side. Remember the Roses? The side were were scared about three matchdays ago? Well, I can concur that Cuthbert Chanceler has heard my concerns, the Roses have stepped up, coming off a big win at the Fullham Dome, as they beat the Rangers 4-2 in front of a huge home crowd, they'll be heading home with high hope in their hearts, its been a rowdy start to the season for them, but I'm fully sure they can now find their ways into the top-5 by seasons end. Also, it looks as if the expansion teams are both headed for the relegation zone, following the mid-level starts from both Emerald Cove and 414 Christcastle, the latter has now overtaken Navy Club as the worst team in the league and Emerald Cove is not far behind.
MATCHDAY 14 - Tommy Cox-Jean is confirmed as being out for the season, the man who had masterfully scored seventeen goals for Athletic New Victoria, perfectly the Purple Swans is not out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, this now means that the attack of the Swans - which has been blown out already by losing national team star, Yellis Eugene to the Acronian side AFC Defense; will now be further slowed without Cox-Jean. Losing 2-nil to A.C. Stonehenge didn't help in anyway, of course, I expect that Victor Kingsley still has a few tricks in his bag, he'll likely be looking to shift to a completely defensive outlook not to preserve a midplace in the rankings, and of course, it'll be back to attempting to win another Cup of the Raza and the ever-elusive RFA SuperCup. I'm not completely sure as to whats the plan from 414 Christcastle, I hear they were good(?) about seven weeks ago during matchday 7, but that's been quickly replaced with fear and doubt. And of course, losing 7-2 to Fullham does do that to you, so perhaps this needs some prayer and rest. L-O-L. Emerald Cove also joins them as the next side to hold the L, as they fall into 13th place, at this point, it should be a battle between those two as to not be in the automatic relegation spot, don't you think? And its not to blame on Emerald Cove - they've got good players, but c'mon - not this year's edition.
MATCHDAY 15 - I almost laugh with the predicitons I made eight weeks ago-ish on who I expected to stand out, to Navy Club - you basically have no concerns for relegation, 414 Christcastle is simply utter trash, this time, suffering 4-1 loss to the Roses. The Roses are a side who I labeled at not able to compete with the big boys and boy, was I wrong - have you seen them thus far? They've stepped up their campaign, I'm wondering if they'll be able to catch up with Stonehenge again, remember last season? It went on in a might battle between the two until the final five matchdays when Stonehenge pulled away for the title, but - the Roses are a good side this year, Gunther Shawcroft is a start, even at 33 he's proving that coming to Razenthuria wasn't for retirement purposes, he finds hide eighteenth goal of the season, he's seemingly done well, plaing as a CAM for much of the pat fourth of the season. The Roses are one of those rare teams who will always been in the conversation as long as Chanceler is manning the ship, Chanceler's never won a title, but the worst he's finished with any team is xith, and remember, turning a club like Tynedale, who was tenth the year before to third requires a heavy amount of work, this was in R-412 where he really got his start. Now, I don't think he'll win a title for a bit, Tajo Mendez will need to absolutely not work out for Stonehenge, but, Chanceler can sneak on team possibly. Oh, and Peachtree's in freefall mode, officially.
MATCHDAY 16 - A high-scoring week ends the first half of the Njiko RZN season, this time as the Purple Swans are the highlight of the day, The Jewel was packed to the brim as a supposedly attack-less side in the Swans takes 414 Christcastle on a ride, dancing off with a 5-nil victory thru the night. Of course, to add insult to the injury, they were fielding their B-team for the match, and goals came flying in at every second of the match - Victor Kingsley has done surprisingly well with his new pairings in the midfield, Toré Na'Verii, the gifted midfielder who takes over for Eugene's roll did well, he scored himself a goal, his fourth of the season. Another big matchup in Ogasake, where the Roses lay waste to Christcastle, settling it with a 5-nil demolition wrecking crew against the side. It would be problematic for the side to have considered dropping points, and of course, we now stare at the Roses hugging the fourth spot. But is that saying much? Only six points - yep folks, that two wins - separate the second-place team and the tenth-place team, so, right now, its really infair to call how this season's going to go. Unless, well, I think Stonehenge's going to run away with their second title, after that, anything could happen folks.
A.C. Stonehenge is still clearly the best team in Njiko RZN, and as if to rub it in the other team's faces, Matchdays 15 and 16 saw the Razen side field B-Team lineups, in which they walked away with a 5-2 victory (over 206 Mitche) and a 3-2 dub, this time over St. Derby. If anything is clear, its that Stonehenge is the best side in Njiko RZN, and alas, Christoper Tajo Mendez is battle-tested with these games, coming off highly-interesting ones, we'll love to see how he does leading the side for the second half of training. Fullham's the other side to keep your eye on, national team assistant, Peter Fermen is back - and he's looking to guide his side up, Fermen didn't have a wonderful season last season, but I'm sure he's looking to make up for lost ground with the side this time around. The rest of the way down, thinks look the same, there's not too much going on - Peachtree F.C. is a surprising note, however, they'll likely tank as the season goes on. Below that, the Birmingham Boys, who purged the line-up for the start of this season, instead opting for youth are now looking to simply avoid relegation, there's much work to do for them looking forth.

The rankings remain mostly stoic in the second division as Applegate City continues to eye that automatic promotion, given they replicate the same success they had in the first half of RazenLeague 2 play, I'll give a safe bet they usurp either Navy Club's or 414 Christcastle's spot in Njiko RZN next season. Equally compelling are the three-bit clique of Reading Athletic, Club Everbren and Blue Coast 381 - all three sides are within a point of the second place spot and they'll be gunning to make room and jockey for the second sot as it looks as if Applegate City has already ran off with the top spot needed. Below them, its a pure melee race, the Burnley Rovers are just groveling in their failures, falling to fifth in the second division, its a big fall from grace from a side we were so high on four years ago. You remember that? When they came within a hair of third place and lost in the Cup of the Raza final? We were so sure of them. Below them is a hashpash of unknowns and names we're not too familiar with, as you know four teams will go down at the end of the season, there's no relegation play-offs, so the battle for the Top-12 begins Matchday 17.

How does it feel to only have won one game this entire season? Ah, these are the questions you only look to the third division too for answers. Long hailed as the wierdos division, you best not be demoted to these backwoods of the Razen pyramid, if you go any lower? Well then, you're just an awful little chump. As expected, Ten Mountains hold steady on their high position, but Illvermorny is making hard gains, only five points behind the Mountaineers for the top spot, this season's been quite dull and a very low-scoring affair, I don't know how much low-scoring games these teams can handle. I predict that Ten Mountains will run away with this, and AFC Querjiban should be of notice too, they shipped off a young youth player to a Banijan top league side last week, supposedly a youth player in the making with raw talent. Who handles this season will be all the questions, these are the minor cities that are trying to become big hustlers, so don't expect much coverage. Ten Mountains by far the best of the bunch.
