She is addicted to smoking, something which her friend Bazyli Vasilios pointed out when she was 18. The problem intensified in 2014. In 2016, Letha lost her job as a police officer as a result of her addiction.

She is Greek who defines herself as straight. She didn't finish school.

She grew up in a working class neighbourhood. Having never really known her parents, she was raised in a series of foster homes.

When Letha is 22 years old a warlock have placed a curse on her as a result from her insults towards him. 2 years later it turns out that she have gained the ability to run at a amazing speed and received black magic but her personality have changed as a result of her use with black magic. She received a Alias for this reason known as Shadowstar and this is where her job as a Superhero begins.......
Powers/Weapons/Tech: Enhanced Speed- User can move much faster than the average member of their species, some near or at the speed of sound, or even faster. However, this power is not without any ill effects, as it can strain the body, although some users may be resistant or even immune to the effects of high speed travel, including acceleration, friction, g-force, inertia, etc.
Black Magic- User can utilize the Dark Art: a form of magic typically used for selfish, self-serving and/or nefarious purposes. Though it is not necessarily "evil" magic, dark arts tend to focus toward destruction, harming, cursing and otherwise complicating the lives of other people while advancing the user's own state. Users often reject social convention and the status quo, which some suggest is in a search for spiritual freedom. As a part of this, they embrace magical techniques and practices that would traditionally be viewed as taboo and are generally willing to go farther than most would even consider if it serves their ends.
Weaknesses: Black Magic- Magic Negation/Magic Destruction
Dark magic tends to get out of hand even if treated with respect.
May be highly addictive and leave the user susceptible to negative influences.
White Arts may be especially effective against this power.
May need to make deals with demons or evil spirits/gods.
Damage caused by dark magic may be permanent/irreversible.
Enhanced Speed- Breathing may be difficult due to high speeds, unless one has Enhanced Lung Capacity. This may be especially troubling when carrying a passenger.
May cause burning and extreme heat from the friction of speed.
May require heat-proof clothing for protection.
User's physical state affects their speed and endurance.
Unless user has Self-Sustenance, they need extreme amounts of calories because of Accelerated Metabolism.

Flutter, I'd like to pause you right there please.

I want to know more of what "Black Magic" entails because honestly the description is vague as all hell. Also, what the heck is "Speed Theft". Furthermore, there is literally no RP sample whatsoever and the backstory is...minuscule. The application is not finished.

Speed theft is the ability to take away somebody else’s speed from them. I needed to look that up. Black magic, judging from all the hard fantasy RPs I’ve been in entails purely offensive magic ranging from elemental based attacks to necromancy and magic of that nature. The RP sample definitely needs to be added, though you’re are being kinda picky with the backstory part. It certainly leaves some things to be desired, but it does meet the bare minimum quota of two paragraphs. But please Ormata, ima just speak in flutters place here, stop doing the OPs job. You’re not a Co-OP, and therefore it’s not your job to be judging apps. There is nothing wrong with giving suggestions, but you are outright telling flutter how to do his/her job.

Oh hey brainy. While writing my Crooked Man app, I actually came up with two ideas for the character.

1. A depraved serial killer who kills purely for the pleasure of killing, who is not really unique in terms of powers aside from his extreme senses and physical capabilities.

2. A supernatural creature, either an ancient meta human, or an inhuman creature of supernatural origin, possibly some twisted version of an angel (possibly a fallen angel or a demon) that acts malevolent at night, in the dark, but when exposed to bright light, like the sun, it becomes subdued.

Just a quick update on why I've been extremely silent. Because I'm a dumbass, I fucked up my laptop during an update, and as a result, my online activity has and will take a big plunge. Age: Stories of this creature can be found dated back to old Native American folk lore, and even Pre-Aztec era carvings describe a creature similar to this.
Gender: It has no gender identifying marks that are known of, though the Crooked Man is most commonly referred to as a “He.”
Appearance: There is no footage of the Crooked Man to be found, however, there are eyewitness descriptions. These descriptions often match very specific key points, however, each story has distinct differences. From what we can gather, the crooked man is a tall, pale creature. It is described as having an unnervingly wide smile, and long, horrific teeth. It’s eyes are described as being hollow, almost looking as if there is nothing inside the eye socket. One detail that every eyewitness sites is its neck. Described as being long, longer than it should be. The neck is often tilted to the side, as broken. The creature supposedly has long, straight black hair, and long fingernails as well.
Personality: Through extensive testing, it seems our predecessors discovered the nature of this... creature. It is violent, for one thing, but subdued when in the presence of especially bright lights, such as sunlight. It has a strange bloodlust towards humans, and is obsessed with sounds such as bones cracking. The creature acts primal, almost as if it is an animal, though it has been noted to have moments of extreme intellect, and knowledge far beyond current era technology. It appears to speak almost any language, even long dead ones.
Faction: Can one man truly belong to a faction if he is so ravenous he would murder those who would supposedly be his allies? In short, no.
Affiliation: The Crooked Man acts of only his own wishes.
Race: The Crooked Man is a mysterious being, thought to be an unnatural human, but possibly so much more.

Doctor: Enigma code 637, nickname “The Crooked Man.” Today, we will be doing an interactive test, where we shall interview the subject in question in discovering the true origin and race of this creature.
Here, a door can be heard opening.
Doctor: Greetings Entity 637. My name is Dr.[REDACTED]], and I wish to speak with you. I suppose I should ask the first question now. While we already have record of this, I wish to know if you are capable of speech.
Entity: Yes doctor, I can speak. Every man who comes in here asks me this same question. Move on.
Doctor: Okay, so, my next question is this. What are you? Where did you come from? What is your purpose here?
Here a strange noise can be heard, sounding similar to a laugh, though the noise is unnaturally guttural. It is assumed this is the Crooked Man “laughing.”
Entity: Oh, you doctors amuse me so. You wish to know what I am? Very well. I have been called many things, by many people. However, you called me the “Crooked Man?” I like that name. So that is what you can call me.
Doctor: I didn’t ask what I could call you, I asked you what you were.
Entity: Do not get testy with me doctor. Many of your kind have made that same mistake. You wish to know what I am? What kind of beast has been roaming the world, what monster you have locked yourself in a room with? Very well. I have been considered a god by many. An eldritch creature of folk stories. As for why I am here, well, the answer is rather simple. I am here for the purpose of being a reaper, a control factor for you humans. Civilization began destroying, this I was made, to destroy civilization. Many a city I have razed throughout history, for I am the one who is to cull life. Where did I come from? Well, I am simply a being of the minds of men. A nightmare, produced by mans fear of destruction, thus the cause of a humans true destruction upon the real world. People tend to make their fears come true, if you’ve ever noticed that. Wouldn’t you agree, doctor? Oh... by the way... when’s the last time you checked the generator. I could have sworn I heard it sputtering.
At this point in the recording, we hear the tape recorder fall to the floor, followed by a series of shouts, banging, and what is though to be gunfire. We can assume that the Crooked Man escaped upon a building wide power failure that caused the lights to go out, allowing the beats to kill his interrogators and break free. No one knows where it is now, but wherever this beats is, it continues to hunt man to this day, achieving its purpose.
