To deny them this is not only undemocratic but tyrannical, taking a people from a nation where their culture is in the majority and putting them into a nation where not only would they be a tiny minority but a despised on.

Not so strong if its entire navy and a respectable-sized occupation force were WIPED OUT by Britain after its own navy came. The Falklands were British before that time for almost 150 years consecutively, and nobody there actually wanted Argentine rule. Even so, if Argentina had won the Falklands War, I would agree to the islands being Argentine. However, they lost, and losers don't get consolation prizes. Maybe Argentina can try again in a couple decades, although I imagine the result would be the same.

B: the war was started by Argentina
C: Any nation has the right to defend its soil against foreign anvasions
D: Even then, the British waited - painstakingly so - until an actual intimation of war had been received from the Argentines, so as to observe international law to the last letter.
