It wouldn't make sense based on demographics. Most Falkland Islanders are descendants of British immigrants who speak English, while Argentina is a Spanish-speaking nation. They'd have a hard time fitting in.

The islanders have made their stance very clear. In a rational world that would be the end of it.

That stance would be biased though, so i think the united nation should step in and decentralise it, so the islands are like some kind of confederation thing and independent from both, with argentina and UK both havign bases on to protect it and they will pay for the entire falklands government.

How can it be 'biased' when it was the islanders themselves that made the decision? How can you justify completely ignoring their expressed wishes while simultaneously claiming bias?

The Islands should remain British, administrated and protected by Britain. The people want it that way and Britain has won them through several wars, too. The UN should most definitely keep away from this territorial conflict - or any territorial conflicts, for that matter, because any step towards global political unification is a poor one.
