Again, every building? We did a few village clears but I can’t see the whole route through a city

Frontage allocation for cities gets weird. You can allocate a couple kilometers for a division in an open field, without much thought for a village or something, but cities are where you start shoving whole brigades into pretty small areas because of the density of terrain and amount of clearance that needs to be done. Fallujah had a division' and change worth of troops shoved into that single area for comprehensive clearance, and that wasn't even against a peer opponent, where the numbers would start climbing if it was decided that taking the city was worth it.

Yeah
Jokes aside Mobile Infantry is the main foundation of a modern army. I can see tanks being useful to guard the IFVs, armored cars etc against a similar force

I just know that a Chally 2 was penetrated by an RPG, and the driver lost his foot.

Probably. Every British tank comes equipped with tea making facilities, after all.

No, that was a different one. In the tea drinking instance their optics were damaged and the tank threw a tread hitting a ditch wrong. In that one they were only hit by about 12-15 RPGs and a MILAN anti-tank missile while they had a brew and waited for help.

The fact that only a single member was maimed instead of killed after a fucking RPG exploded on him is still fucking impressive.

He was fit enough after the hit to withdraw his tank 1.5 miles to the regimental aid post to get it looked at. It was only part of his foot, not the whole thing.

The interesting thing is that if this was Leo 2, one of the ammo racks (without blowout panels) is in the same general area (more on the right of center) of the tank as where that RPG hit the Chally 2.
