We are of course happy to provide one of the ships, however there are none in service with the Free Kingdom Navy. We could have one with you within 2 weeks or so.

That said, we would like to answer your questions in more detail before you commit to make a full purchase.

The primary purpose of the Quiver-class is to be an arsenal ship in its principal sense, that is to say, to carry a large quantity of long-range cruise missiles and engage land targets with these. While it couldbe used to carry any missile capable of being fired from a Mark 41 or Mark 57 VLS cell, it is not a primary surface combatant. As such we cannot in good conscience recommend the sale of this ship for that role to a country facing what appears to be a national defense emergency and requiring a ship, as soon as possible – as you described, 'tomorrow or most preferably yesterday'.

We are willing, in the interim, to provide a range of information regarding the ship and its function.

First, the ship is not built around the core of a warship. It is not capable of the maritime performance of a warship, nor can it be expected to be capable of it. It is designed around the body of a maritime engineering ship, and as such it can move about the seas ponderously, with all the grace of a sea cow and all the speed of a glacier. It has maritime radar, and it can engage targets if they are so foolish and foolhardy as to wander within, say, 100-200 miles of a ship basically made of missiles, or it can engage basically any targets that can be designated to it externally (i.e. as far as the missiles can fly), or fire cruise missiles at static land targets whose coordinates are known and which can't really dodge. (The latter, again, is the principal purpose of the ship.

Second, the ship as designed can adapt to any missile that can fit into a MK-41 VLS (as of a recent update, also a MK-57 VLS), and there is no problem building these ships with other VLS systems in the future.

Moreover, we are willing to provide a contact of the Free Kingdom government to see if your nation, a partner of the Free Kingdom, can receive some manner of humanitarian or possibly even military assistance.
