OP: Social Media is defined as a form of electronic communication such as websites for social networking or microblogging through in which users create online communities and groups to share information, ideas, pictures, personal messages, videos and other content.
Social media can be used by its users to share information, interests, disscusions and interact with other users. It is also used to share news and political activity. In Businesses, social media can be used for marketing brands, products and services to a wider area. However social media has also its negative effects and drawbacks such as negative effect on mental health because of false sense of connection, envy, isolation, exposing children to online predators and cyber bullying and also the spread of false or untrue stories or also known as "fake news" and also its privacy issues.
Social media should be part of the society yet should be used responsibly.
OP/Description: In Mangahhan Super Region, social media is part of everyday life of every Avilan. MSR Statistics says more than 80% of the population uses social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others, mostly used for interacting with other users local or abroad, empowering businesses and enterprises and also used by the state to broadcast its announcements such as natural disasters, new laws and decrees and also news on social media. However, there are some reports that the social media in MSR is prone to Cybercrimes such as objectification of women, cyberbullying, troll accounts, and scams. In response, MSR has its own Social Media Regulation Board to enforce laws to users using social media. Censorship isn't observed in much of social media sites in MSR and almost every social media site is accessible in the state.
