"Hello, Madame Aisha. I would like to make a proposition to you…" he spoke in a cool and slow tone.

He continued, "I want you to denounce the actions of the Aestorian Commonwealth and force them to leave the country. We, as your fellow Muslim brothers and sisters are shocked that Azadistan would accept help from the Aestorians. They don't even understand Islam and Azadistan, suggesting to build a funeral pyre for His Majesty Sultan Ahmed which is most insulting. The Aestorian Commonwealth has informed us via communique that the Maharani has been inoculated with a weapon comprising of nanoparticles that is extremely contagious and dangerous! We have three hours to release her or they will unleash the weapon. What should we do?" said one of the diplomatic staff, running into the Grand Hall as quickly as possible.

Some of those in the room gasped in shock, but the Eternal Father simply remained seated and grinned. His grin grew into a smile, and his smile turned into laughter. At that point, some of those in the room started to think he went insane.

"Do the Aestorians think that we are complete idiots? It would be impossible for them to even activate the nanoparticle disease if it wasn't activated by a nanobot. Someone get to the armory, grab the explosively pumped flux compression generator package we have stored there. Captain Matković, get your men and get the Maharani into the helicopter on the roof after disabling the nanobots. After that, get her to Mount Veliki and throw her into the lava in the caldera. We've got no choice but to disable the nanobots and kill the Maharani. Now, go." ordered the Eternal Father quickly.

The men immediately got to work, many scrambling to get to the Palace Armory to get the EPFCG package to generate an electromagnetic pulse to detonate the nanobots. Others swiftly brought the Maharani down into the basement where they would disable the nanobots via electromagnetic pulse. One soldier brought along a video recording set in order to broadcast her execution live such that the Aestorians and Azadistanis would see what would happen to their beloved Maharani.

The Eternal Father was led off to the rooftop where his pilot took him and his entourage from the site to a safer location at his Dacha near Mount Veliki several hundred kilometers away from Çiçekbul in case of any escalation of the conflict. The majority of Combine citizens already had nanites within them as part of an initiative for the Combine to have greater control over individuals, but it was to be safe that the Maharani would be executed.

Within at least ten minutes, several soldiers brought in the EPFCG package and activated the electromagnetic pulse in the basement's bunker where the Maharani was. In a magnificent fashion, the electromagnetic pulse went off with the EPFCG device being physically destroyed during the pulse.

With that, the Maharani was loaded into the helicopter. Hopefully, the nanites had already been disabled but this was to be safe.

Mount Veliki was several hundred kilometers away from Çiçekbul, and inside it was a caldera with molten-hot lava. It was forty-five minutes by helicopter. Although the nanites that activated the device should have been destroyed during the EMP, it was safer if she was exterminated before the Aestorians try activating the device if the nanites were somehow hardened against the EMP, as impossible as that could be.

An hour later, the helicopter hovered over the caldera of the volcano. One soldier recorded the Maharani, broadcasting it on live television.

"Throw the bitch in!" shouted Captain Ibrahim Matković. Her hands and legs bound, two soldiers opened the door of the helicopter while another one recorded. They threw her off the helicopter, down towards the firey hell that was the caldera of Mount Veliki. The cameramen went near to the door, recording the Maharani's descent towards the lava.

"By God, we are throw Aestorian-supporting dog into lava!" said one of the soldiers in a thick accent.

Other soldiers threw grenades and propane tanks down too, hopefully to confirm they she would die and her remains destroyed.

This was televised all over the Combine and men, women and children cheered on seeing a monarch friendly to colonialism being throne into the fires of freedom and democracy.

“This is the most extreme reaction I’ve ever seen,” he was saying, with interest.

The Aestorians were mildly surprised. This was one reaction they had not foreseen. As the helicopter swept away from the palace, they looked on from their inexhaustible supply of satellites with rising interest.

“Vector?” asked the Viscount.

“I’ve got it, they’re heading for their ‘sacred’ volcano,” said the expert. Fortunately there was one on every country.

“God, what is it, 8000 km from rescue,” said the Viscount. “ETA?”

“40 minutes minimum,” said the tracker.

“So … mach 5, probably 10 by the time we turn the QSS Exorbitant in the right direction. Yeah, easy peasy.”

The Air Strategos, known by friend and enemy alike as the Walrus, looked at the Viscount, his moustache drooping. He wanted to scream. How was the Viscount and his bloody space forces always, always, always the saviour of the day? AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

He did not say what he thought. It might have made him look as insecure as he felt. “How,” he said, more simply.

“Well, last year I was worried about how we’d catch an astronaut if they fell from space or a balloon or something,” explained the Viscount, as casually as if he was was explaining how to eat a pizza. “So we made a drone which could split into four with a net between.”

The Walrus facepalmed in reply.

The Viscount responded by being irritatingly sympathetic.

“It’s alright,” he said. “We’ll need some of your fighters to attack them while we do the getaway.”

The Walrus glared. But then suddenly he brightened up. The Space Forces needed a cover? They needed his defence? They needed … him?

He puffed out his chest ...Cool.

The drone split into four, a net opened between them, and in went the falling Maharani, whisked away in an instant to safety.

At the same time, a squadron of Kraken strike aircraft, fueled by submarine over the impossibly vast oceans, and now sneaking in towards the Combine from the seas, flipped to active radar and launched two cruise missiles against every radar station that could be identified by radiation or satellite within four hundred kilometers.

And that was just the beginning...

[Interesting trivia note: there weren't actually any nanoparticles in the Maharani: it was a bluff. It is doubtful whether even Aestoria could transfer an illness from one person to another by nanobots. Therefore if the Maharani wasn't surrendered, the Aestorian plan had been to use a stealth drone to drop lots of snuff on the palace in a few hours, making everybody start to sneeze, so that they surrendered the Maharani.

The Aestorians had not expected such drastic countermeasures as starting a war.

And one of the very useful advantages of the Democratic Exodian Territories' Defense Minister, Grandmaster General Shawn Fowler, was that he highly understood the meaning of the words "fuck you", particularly while situated in an official conference thousands of miles away from home and was secretly playing a scene from John Wick in his mind.

An Army officer's voice echoed throughout one of the many stations, as they all received a simple text from the General, who they thought was busy situated in the Canary Islands an entire pond away.
"Blow the bastards out of the sky."

While it wasn't very well-known, small secret, diplomatic attempts had been made between the Combine and a few Exodian military officials- but besides, the Exodians had had enough of the Aestorians, and they knew instantly what the text was about.

With a multitude of 17- and 25-inch railguns from across the archipelago lining up, aiming almost directly at the horizon, then fired- as the ground rumbled and shook, artillery shells with heads filled with liquid rocket fuel and 41-millimeter osmium "bullets" soared directly at the Exorbitant at a speed of 2,333 kilometers per hour.



After the massive firearms released their charges, a corporal asked, "I know it's not right to question orders, sir, but... why are we doing this again?"
"It seemed like a nice idea at the time, Corporal." his captain said back, watching steam billow from the barrels of the cannons. "Damn. I should have put on 1812 Overture or something- that would have made it better."

A nuclear warhead deployed by the Sinkomese fractional orbital bombardment system programme had recently received signals that for the decades of its life it had been awaiting for, but never received. Up until now. It didn't mind that the signal was sent elsewhere by a group of "rogue military officers" with declared intent to "remove kebab" that the SIAF were placing arrest warrants all around for. Not at all. It had just a computer which tried to do its job in an ever-changing world with outdated parts as best as it could, and perhaps those ageing circuitry were what caused its hijacking in the first place.

The warhead approached the area right above Bezrovec. The heart of the Grand Cooperative Combine, the greatest kebab of all kebabs, and the terrible shadow of the Sinkom itself that it had to be eradicated. It was very convenient it was not distant at all from the Kopkom mainland, after all...there was one above every country.

Technically there wasn't, and only a handful were even floating around and usable, but the target country problem was quickly resolved.

The warhead soon moved onto a trajectory that would find it travelling in an efficient arc towards Cicekbul as soon as possible and arriving in no time, thanks gravity. Unfortunately it failed to detect a huge Ausitorian space warship, which it crashed into.

"What the fuck? What happened?" the control panel worker and commander of the "nationalist coup" cursed. The warhead had apparently saw some resistance mid-transit.

He became increasingly impatient. The device was decades-old and thus failed to relay back data useful in determining why. He slammed the panel, hitting inadvertently the button by which the failsafe detonation could be activated. It was big and red and easily recognizable especially after a fist smashing into it.

"Oh fuck."

The explosion would yield energy and force equivalent to 45 kilotons of TNT. Right as the weapon had embedded itself into the structure of the "obstacle".

[No it is not PMT, unless you measure PMT by differentiating it from RL on the grounds that MT technology developed into new products does not exist IRL.
