The system works as follows:
there are several power position slots in the region. When one is vacant, you can sign up for one.
the various positions are:
-Superpowers: Roelandia, Petrokovia, vacant (3 slots in total, 1 available)
-Great powers: Cavendian states, Armenda, Fraysil, Frenya, Couvertia (5 slots in total, no slots available)
-Middle powers: Arkdunham, the excalibur union, vacant, vacant, vacant, vacant, vacant (7 slots in total, 5 available)
-Small powers (no limits)
note: We do not use NS stats
You are required to state the position you are running for, choosing from the above list (only vacant positions can be applied for.)
GDP (nominal)
It is necessary for you to state your GDP (nominal). Depending on the position you are applying for, it can only be between these numbers:
-superpower: between 10 and 18 trillion USD
-great power: between 3 and 6 trillion USD
-middle power: between 500 billion and 2 trillion USD*
-small power: below 500 billion usd
Everything below 500 billion USD GDP is considered a small power and is as such not relevant on the international stage in any way on Cinderia's power scale. Their behavior is characterized by dependence on larger powers or their adherence to a strict neutrality policy. Even so, they can still band together with other nations or side with one of the larger powers to influence world events. (which I encourage you to do should you choose to play one). Depending on the strength and significance of your neighbors you could even be granted the (unofficial) label 'regional power'.
*Exception clause: Middle powers and great powers know some overlap in the real world. This is why an exception on the 2 trillion gdp cap for middle powers is possible in certain circumstances. If you have a sufficient argument about why your middle power should rise abovce the soft cap of 2 trillion dollars nominal gdp you can state so in you application, remember however that this exception only goes as far as the hard cap of 2.6 trillion dollars. All such exception appeals are however heaavily subject to potential rejection based on overal world balance, number of exceptions in this regard already granted and finally, arbitrary reasons on account of the founder (myself). Note that this is supposed to be a "method of last resort" in order to bridge the rather large gap of 1 trillion between great and middle powers. as such this will only be granted when the situation is right for it.
Population + GDP (nominal) per capita
Population is the second value to be stated, total number is less relevant (within reason) than the GDP per capita (the third value to be stated) that it produces however. It is possible for a superpower for instance to have a high nominal GDP but a relatively low nominal GDP per capita (China being a prime real world example) but I'd either rather avoid that or keep that limited to one nation. This can be a tricky thing to balance out so I'll just state a number of examples that can be used as reference points and instigate a GDP per capita ceiling:
(*GDP (nominal) per capita is calculated by dividing GDP (nominal) by the population number.)
example 1: (great power)
population: 80 000 000, GDP (nominal): 3 trillion usd, GDP (nomilal) per capita: 37 500 usd
example 2: (superpower)
population: 321 486 121, GDP (nominal): 14 trillion usd, GPD (nominal) per capita: 43 547 usd
Ceiling: 60 000 usd GDP (nominal) per capita
Exception clause: Nations who fall under the small power category can negotiate above this ceiling as nations such as Luxemburg, Kuwait and Singapore for instance do have per capita levels far above this level. Population has to be 5 million or lower with a territory to match. If you would like to apply for this exception state this in your application
HDI
As a final number, the HDI should be stated as well. Although less important than the previous values in determining overall power, it gives a relatively good idea about the prosperity of a nation.
These links can be used as a reference for stating your HDI:
-calculating the HDI: https://bizfluent.com/how-4894211-calcu ... index.html (not a hard rule, just a reference as we don't have access to this kind of data for our own nations)

Final thought
In order to promote a good gameplay experience I would like to ask you to not just pick the highest numbers possible. Play with them a little, weigh them out against each other and see where you end up.
Applications shall be reviewed by me and may be subject to revision in coordination with you (the poster). If accepted it will be stated by me here on the thread.
