A Jesus for every town. Loaves and fish for all would solve the upcoming global food crisis and rising sea levels can be turned into a non-stop party by changing the flood water into wine.

Fun fact: Jesus isn't dead. The prophet will help Imam Mahdi in the fight against Dajjal when it's almost Judgement Day. We don't need to clone him as his return is certain. Just wait a few centuries. Or millennia.

As to OP question. Nope, not a really good idea. Had I been a fanatic, I'll chase you all over Netherlands, even if I have to wait for few more years to get scholarship. Luckily, I'm not. Because clones aren't exact copy. And Jesus is Jesus, and while you can, in theory clone him, it's not him, just a copy of him.

First of all, many of the Holy Relics are fake- the Catholics loved making them up.

Second of all, according to my personal faith, Jesus was a part of God theirself, so I don't know whether that would be a good idea or not.

Third of all, DNA has an expiry date that is very short, and Jesus' DNA would have long since expired. It wouldn't be possible unless we literally traveled back in time and asked him to spit in a cup.

You can't clone memories, souls, and the Godhead made flesh.
